Beautiful location and perfect vantage point for mountain and valley views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal.

Empfang und Betreuung war exzellent. Beim Einchecken wurde mir ein Upgrade ohne Aufpreis angeboten. Die gesamte Hotelbelegschaft war stets äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels und der Ausblick aus dem Zimmerfenster sind unübertrefflich. Die Küche des hoteleigenen Restaurants war vorzüglich.

Das Hotel scheint mir etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Das macht sich in besonderem Masse an den Bodenbelägen an der Wärmedämmung - in diesem doch rauhen Klima - an der tropfenden Heizung und an der teilweise erneurerungsbedürftigen Badezimmereinrichtung bemerkbar. Da ich während der letzten Woche vor Saisonende im Hotel logierte, ist zu hoffen, dass bis zur nächsten Saisoneröffnung einige Renovierungsarbeiten getätigt werden.

The staff and facilities were outstanding! They even have a cinema theatre that you can use. The staff is extremely helpful, polite and eager to help. The breakfast is amazing. I'm doing buiseness travels a lot and usually staying in really expensive hotels around the globe. And this one that I've booked privately for my vacation was beating almost every hotel I was staying. Wishing all the best to your business guys!

We absolutely loved this hotel. A highlight of our stay in Argentina. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was amazing. The views were incredible, the entire team were so professional and welcoming, and the restaurant was awesome. Every evening there was a guide to provide advice on activities and weather conditions. Highly recommend!

Would have been nice to have those fireplaces going when the snow set in. Not that it was cold. Just would have been cosy.

After long days on the trails, the spa was a huge bonus; the hot tub and sauna were perfect for relaxing and recovering. Breakfast was also very good each morning. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay—we’d definitely recommend it.

The best place we stayed on our journey in Argentina. Hands down, probably the most luxurious one in El Chalten. Beautifully designed, we got an upgrade to a room with valley views. Breakfast was excellent, beyond the buffet selection you can order eggs, french toast, etc. Usually we don't prefer hotel restaurants but one evening we tried it for dinner after a long hike and it was delicious with great service. The staff was super helpful, they explained everything and were available whenever we needed advice. We ordered lunchboxes for our hike, they prepared delicious sandwiches.

The aesthetic fit well with the landscape and took advantage of of the views with expansive windows in the dining area and custom windows overing a view from bed. The tub with jets makes for a nice soak. The spa area also offers views. We were given a complimentary bottle of 2013 red blend that is apparently bottle for the properly that my partner loved. The breakfast is extensive and delicious.

The wind was unexpectedly loud on the top floor, but this is manageable with earplugs.

High quality food and service. Concierge was fantastic and went well beyond expectations when needing help.

They would benefit by having small lamps by food offerings at breakfast as room is very dark.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel on a small hill above the town of Chalten close and walkable to the hiking trails with a friendly staff. The mountain and valley view from the bar and our 3rd Floor room was magnificent! Loved the room for our family of 3 adults with a King Bed facing the incredible view and a Twin bed to the side. Across from the spa bath and separate shower bathroom was a huge closet dressing room for your luggage and changing privacy. The second floor of the hotel has couches and tables, and there was even a nice lounging chair in our room. Perfect hotel for a 3 night stay and some relaxation between our phenomenal hikes. The Breakfast Buffet included delicious omelettes, and veggies, fruit, croissants, ham, cheese, juices, and even cappuccinos. Great Place to stay in Chalten for your Argentina Patagonia Vacation and a to get a little extra help with your hiking plans.

It would have been nice to have an elevator in the hotel, but what are a few more steps after all the gorgeous hikes!

Love this hotel so much. Spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon. 1. Theres an expert guide (Ignacio) who can give you tips about hikes around the area and he's there most nights from 5pm 2. The hotel has a jacuzzi and sauna which you have to pre-book to ensure maximum 6 guests at a time 3. Amazing restaurant - do not miss it! We had dinner at least twice. The breakfast buffet was great! 4. They offer drinks and treats at the entrance hallway perfect for a post-hike treat (or just a regular treat haha) 5. They have a movie room with a projector if that's your thing - and they have a streaming service for everything - i asked them to put on tennis and I watched 4hrs of tennis while I was there haha 6. Amazing view of town 7. Last definitely not the least - the best staff ever. Immaculate service. I will be back!!!

Séjour absolument parfait à El Chaltén, sans doute l’un des meilleurs hôtels de la région. Tout était réuni pour passer un moment exceptionnel. La chambre était magnifique, très confortable, avec une vue spectaculaire sur les paysages alentours. Se réveiller face à ce panorama est tout simplement incroyable. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est également excellent : les plats sont délicieux et de grande qualité. Un vrai plaisir après une journée de randonnée. Un grand merci aussi à toute l’équipe du restaurant, qui a été particulièrement serviable, attentive et chaleureuse tout au long du séjour. Leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme font vraiment la différence. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

A lot! They have incredible STAFF! Especially Mariano! At reception. He was a consummate professional genuinely going above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. He is truly an asset to Los Cerros and they are lucky to have him….And the wonderful restaurant staff (great Somm !), the restaurant was fantastic for dinner, also great breakfast and staff at breakfast!(don’t forget to tip the staff 10% at the end of your stay - they worked hard for you!). Views from all over the hotel are incredible, hotel common areas to the lounge….You can work and/or rest on rainy days in luxurious nooks with fantastic views. The hotel Alpaca boutique is fantastic and great quality goods. So Luxe! Some Of the best made goods we found in all of Argentina! I wish I’d bought more hats and scarves. The SOFTEST! The hotel has a local guide Ignacio, who was charming and had amazing information about local Highlights (tip him too!) and thank you, what a nice touch. Fantastic bar! So many things to love.

Now for the things we didn’t love…..The gravel dirt road leading to the entry way seemed out of place at such a “prestigious” property and also made it problematic for any rooms on the south side of the building because there is NO air conditioning! In the rooms or in the entire hotel. When it’s warm you have to open the windows in your room to attempt to cool and when the wind is blowing, as it usually is in Patagonia, this will bring lots of gravelly road dust into your room. (No worries if your room is on the north side of the building, as this won’t be a problem). While I realize and understand that “most” of the time you may not need AC in Patagonia, you must know that when it trends warmer, the hotel lobby, hallways, rooms and all the common areas heat up like a sauna. It is nearly impossible to keep your room cool to sleep at night so pay attention to weather if this is important to you. For $500 a night for very basic rooms that desperately need an update (especially their bathrooms) we found this difficult to swallow. Also, hopefully they fixed this? But while we were there January of 2025, the spa area smelled of sewer which made it impossible to enjoy spa treatments/massages and amenities in the spa area (hot tub/dry sauna). Furthermore, spa area is only open from 3-9? This surprised us with so many weary hikers needing hot tub time to soothe tired bones. You can reserve for 45 minute sessions per 6 person group. They seemingly didn’t treat or clean the hot tubs in between guests so if you’re scheduled at 6 or 7, you are in after other dirty hikers that maybe didn’t shower before entering? Our water was dirty and cloudy from other guests when we entered. Yuck. Sorry to complain about this but it needs attention.

The value for price was not worth it. They cannot book transport from the airport. They offer hiking poll rental which they didn’t say in advance, they said we’d have to rent from a shop in town. They have a guide who is great for hikes, but doesn’t help with booking the passes in advance . We showed up for hikes without booking the tickets in advance- which could have easily been avoided with a little notice. There is no outdoor seating area and the lounge/dining area is prohibitively hot. There were dead spiders in the wine glasses we asked for. Honestly I expected more for the price. I would just get a tin hut in town and not pay extra for this place.

The days were beautiful and warm when we were there and our room had an expansive view with the sun shining in. As a result the room was hot and less ventilation and no screen on the window. The breeze was amazing but many flies came in. Not a complaint but was noted.

Aiutino da Chat: We stayed at Hotel Los Cerros for our honeymoon and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel showed great attention to the fact that it was a special trip for us, making us feel truly welcomed. Breakfast was excellent, with very good quality and variety. The service was outstanding, especially when it came to organizing activities. Ignacio was incredibly helpful and professional, taking the time to suggest the best hiking trails based on weather conditions, timing, and our preferences. His advice made a real difference to our experience. After check-out, we realized we had forgotten a hat in our room. The hotel kindly sent it by post to El Calafate and refused any reimbursement, a gesture that really shows their level of care and hospitality. Highly recommended, especially for a special occasion.

Honestly one of my favorite stays in Argentina. The hotel is wonderful but here the thing is REALLY the staff who go just above and beyond and truly understand what customer services is. Simply outstanding!

The hotel is near everything and has an exceptional view. The staff is very friendly. The included breakfast is plentiful and full of options. We also had a very good dinner there with excellent wine and the only good IPA (beer) I found in Patagonia. Nacho, the hotel’s resource for hiking information gave us great suggestions on hiking trails, helped my husband find a fly fishing guide, and was interesting to talk to about El Chaten.

Desayuno muy completo. El personal muy atento. Muchos espacios comunes para descansar o reunirse con amigos.

Las instalaciones: la habitación muy básica, sin minibar ni televisor, nos tocaron días de viento y el ruido a la noche pegando en las ventanas era realmente muy fuerte. No tiene ascensor así que hay que subir las valijas por la escalera (2 pisos altos en mí caso).

El trato es amable en general y tienen un buen desayuno . El personal de la cena es muy eficiente y realiza un excelente trabajo.

Las primeras impresiones son importante. Este es un hotel caro para el servicio que ofrece. Tal vez están acostumbrados a un turismo extranjero que no se queja. Pero llegar a la 1 am luego de 3hr 30 min más 2h 30 de auto y una temperatura de 4 grados que te entreguen una habitación helada y que no funcione la calefacción y que te digan “ si está rota tienen que venir a arreglarla “ es realmente una gran falta de respeto . Luego piensan que quejarse es para que te regalan una copa de vino . El malestar experimentado no se resuelve regalando alcohol sino siendo eficiente en no entregar habitaciones dañadas.

La ubicación, hospitalidad y el personal muy cálido y cordial para ayudar y hacer recomendaciones de qué visitar y darte opciones según el clima. El hotel muy lindo sobre todo el gran estar del primer piso y su restaurante con una excelente gastronomía y hermosas vistas. Si vas a hacer trekking te resuelven la lunch box para despreocuparse de todo.

Wind whistling thru poorly designed windows

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. It is a "treat" kind of place at around €450 per night but that also includes a nice breakfast and spa. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they give great tips for walks etc. They also have an onsite "expert" who can advise on the walks for free. It is a superb base for the hikes and about 10 minutes walk to the starting point of the main routes (Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre). The view from the hotel of the mountain and lakes is genuinely breathtaking. The breakfast is also nice. The rooms are nice albeit you don't really get "the view" from them. The hotel does go the extra step in some areas, e.g chocolates and hiking "balaclava" in the room and they gave us a gift for getting engaged (many hotels actually charged us). Some nice touches. The little spa area is very nice but it is a little annoying you have to book this for a slot but I guess this ensures a more private experience.

My only real negative point is the road leading up to the hotel is not finished and is very dusty and stony without footpaths. It slightly takes away from the classy hotel and they should do something about it (albeit it might be a local council thing?).

Hubo alerta de mal tiempo y cierre de la ruta, nos escribieron ofreciendo cambiar la reserva al día siguiente sin costo, pero una vez aceptado nos dijeron que habría un pequeño aumento porque la habitación era mejor. No era cierto, la habitación era la normal y nos cobraron casi una nueva reserva. Realmente fue muy poco agradable.

Excellent food: breakfast was varied and delicious. The food at dinner was also very good. The service was particularly attentive. It is an excellent idea to have a guide available at the bar to offer suggestions for walks. He gave us some perfect advice.

Lovely hotel for short stay in El Chalten has a nice upscale ski hotel vibe. Staff are very friendly and helpful including the on-site route guide who was invaluable for planning our Mt Fitzroy trek. Views from rooms and common areas of hotel are probably the best in all of El Chalten, look out onto mountains

This place is unique, feels like home, facilities are great to end a trekking with style.

A acomodação em frente àquela destinada a nós estava em obra e o barulho foi bastante incômodo. Também não há frigobar na acomodação, mas pelo padrão do hotel deveria ter.
