L'hôtel est idéalement situé sur le plateau du Mont-Royal, quartier très agréable pour visiter Montréal. Tout peut se faire à pied, à vélo ou en transport en commun. Le personnel d'accueil et de service est très agréable, réactif et serviable. La chambre était très calme, spacieuse et confortable; la propreté impeccable. La cuisine commune de l'hôtel est un plus très appréciable pour un thé ou un café.

The location was great across from the park and close to Mont Royal street.

Lots of stairs to the top floor rooms but the staff were very kind to carry my luggage up and down.

Les grandes chambres spacieuses, la localisation au Plateau Mont-Royal en face du parc. Le café, thé et eau aromatisée en libre service (ainsi que des fruits).

Les chambres donnant sur la rue Rachel sont très bruyantes (trafic), on entend tout dans les chambres voisines, la salle du petit déjeuner ressemble à un réfectoire triste. L'accueil n'est pas au top.

Es un alojamiento muy curioso porque te permite contratar alojamiento solo, pero puedes hacer uso de la cocina que es pequeña pero completísima, y del comedor. Además la ubicación es muy conveniente, en un barrio muy local y animado, un parque extenso, cerca de la calle Ava Mount Royal. Tuvimos la habitación 1, que da a la calle, pero no hay ruido. Las camas son queen, muy muy cómodas, las mejores que tuvimos en todo nuestro viaje por la provincia de Quebec. El personal muy amable, incluso pudimos hablar en español con ellos. También hay una terraza muy cuqui. No tiene vistas, pero puedes estar allí para comer, leer....

The staff! Everyone was so nice, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. The room was very clean and had a big window overlooking the park. We'd stay again.

The bathroom could be upgraded.

La porte de la salle de bain ne fermait pas (et depuis longtemps au vu de la porte gonflée), et la baignoire très glissante, mon épouse a glissé …

Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Room was adequate and quiet. Location in front of the park nice. Parking was easy. Walking distance to city centre. Area close to many restaurants and markets. Walking distance to the Olympic stadium

Not sure of the breakfast saw on Monday arrangements for tenants but not Sunday. Some guidance of where we could have gone would have helped.

Eine tolle Lage, direkt am grossen Park. Auf der anderen Strassenseite konnte man direkt Fahrräder (BIXI -Top System) leihen. Die Ave Mont Royal in Reichweite. Sehr netted Personal

Die Klimaanlage konnte nicht im Zimmer, sondern nur für eine Etage gesteuert werden. Dies führen zu konflikten.

Dans la chambre où j’ai dormi il avait un bruit de ventilation très agaçant qui a rendu difficile mon sommeil , c’est dommage.

El personal es muy amable y facilita las cosas y la estancia. La habitación era cómoda y muy limpia. La zona está muy bien porque tiene justo un parque enfrente, que hacen conciertos en verano, y está cerca de la calle de restaurantes y tiendas.

Para mí, el único inconveniente fue no poder retomar el aire acondicionado a mi gusto, pero en cuanto les comenté que estaba muy frío para mi gusto, lo solucionaron y estuve bien. Por otro lado, hay que tener en cuenta que las escaleras son empinadas. Ambas cosas las advierten en la descripción, así que no hubo sorpresas. Como digo, mi estancia estuvo muy bien.

Location easy walking distance to mont royal métro. From there you can get anywhere! The terrace was such a bonus to sit out on with our morning coffee and relaxing in the evening after a long day sight seeing Having the parc de fontaine directly opposite gave us a great view each day. Room was so spacious, bed extremely comfortable, bath was immense, A/C was perfect! Cleanliness deserves a special mention, the whole room and hotel were immaculate

On their email they said they could help you bring your luggage since there are no elevators. But when we got there, she seemed baffled I was asking and that she would have to ask. They shouldn’t say it in their email if in fact they aren’t going to help.

Nice little inn at a great location in front of a beautiful park. The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

We loved the location of this property and as first time visitors we are glad that we stayed in this area instead of in the old Montreal. You are with the locals and not the tourists. This property sits directly across from La Fontaine Park and is close to the bus stop and metro. It was very close to the lively pedestrian street of Avenue Mont Royal, and walking distance to Mont Royal Park and Blvd Saint Laurent It was walking distance to some of the best neighborhoods. We liked the option of adding breakfast and we did so one morning of our three night stay. There were cold and hot items and everything was fresh and delicious. The room and bed were adequate size and the room and bathroom felt new. Robes in the room were a nice touch.

We were able to secure one of the two parking spots in the back of the building but I could see where parking could be a bit tricky. The front desk attendant was more than happy to help explain how street parking worked.

Location was perfect for the Plateau

The lock on our room door stopped working after the first day and although we reported it, was not yet fixed when we checked out. So our room was unlocked for the duration of our 6 night stay.

Small, comfortable, clean rooms. A time-honored boutique hotel that has been nicely updated (some rooms more modern than others). Nice sized deck at the back of the hotel, overlooking a quiet side street, Rue Chambord. Wonderful staff, very helpful and accomodating. The hotel clearly states there is no elevator; pack accordingly as there are 45 steps to the third floor. Take advantage of the BIXI bicycle station across the street in La Fontaine Park; download the app, incredibly easy to use and biking is absolutely the way to go in Montrèal! LOCATION is amazing!

We liked everything.

We booked this hotel at the last minute and hoped for the best, due to having booked another place to stay that did not live up to our expectations. Auberge de la Fontaine exceeded our expectations!! It was very clean and the rooms had lovely bathrobes, nice furniture, and a comfortable bed. There are three parking spots on the property which are first-come first-served and we lucked into one on the second night which was great. Otherwise, there is ample street parking and a machine nearby to pay for that. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The Metro station is about 15 minutes away which was useful when needed but there are many places to eat, drink and sightsee nearby in the Plateau area. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it looked good and was certainly an option. The staff were very friendly. We would stay here again!

The only thing that could have been better would be an elevator but it is an old property so we certainly understood why there isn't one! There was a window but a sign said not to open it. There is no control over the air conditioning - again due to it being an old building - and the first night was hot but the second night was okay.

Salle de bain un peu vieillotte, vue sur mur depuis la chambre. Clim un peu froide et non réglable car centralisée.

Le gentillesse de l'ensemble du personnel qui fait tout pour vous satisfaire, un accueil irréprochable, un accès à une cuisine si besoin, la proximité du quartier Mont Royal très sympathique et du parc de la Fontaine. Large choix au petit déjeuner

Des détails mais la clim centralisée était un peu trop forte dans la chambre (temps caniculaire). Des flexibles pour la douche et la baignoire seraient vraiment un plus.

Extremely clean, extremely friendly, wonderful location by the park. We were able to walk to a bakery through the park.

There is no elevator, but we knew that so part of the charm is climbing the stairs.

Nous avions effectivement demandé à ne pas avoir de chambre au 2e étage comme lors de notre 1er séjour. On nous a attribué la petite chambre 3 au rez de chaussée qui n’est pas du tout au niveau de l’hôtel : pas d’aération dans la salle de bain, un appareil de Clim rajouté inesthétique, 3 fenêtres qui donne sur des voitures garées à 1m! Impossible d’ouvrir et d’avoir son intimité.

We stay here every time we come to Montreal. Clean, comfortable and a lovely location on the La Fontaine park. Parking is easy, close to shops and restaurants. Especially beautiful in the summer. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

It was absolutely perfect for the Grand Prix in Montreal. We loved the staff and it was a quiet spot for us to rest each evening.

location was great, room was small but clean and the bed was amazing... I rented a bike, did yoga in the park across the street and enjoyed a comfortable stay... having free flowing coffee was great!

I couldn't figure out how to get the coffee maker to work and the breakfast looked not great -so I avoided it..

Dommage que le dernier jour, il a fallu se plaindre, car le lit était fait, mais rien de plus. Pas nettoyé à terre, pas de serviettes dans la salle de bains et poubelles non vidées ! Personne ne nous a dit qu'il y avait un bus qui passait tout près de la pour aller prendre le métro, il faut donc le temps de s'en rendre compte...

Our room was recently renovated and everything about it from the smell, bedding, shower was refreshing and beautiful. We only chose this hotel as there was a mix up on our previous one. The staff are lovely and location across from one of the most beautiful parks in Montreal was perfect and central. The plateau area offers choice and a sense of community!

Everything was perfect, nothing not to like!

Direkt gegenüber liegt ein Park, der sehr schön ist. Das Bett war wirklich sehr bequem und das ganze Personal sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Zum Frühstücken waren wir nicht im Hotel.

Wir hatten unser Zimmer im Erdgeschhoß. Daher hörte man morgen ab 6 Uhr immer das Personal, welches für das Frühstück richtete, das es ab 7 Uhr im Hotel gab.
