Villa Cortine Palace Relais Chateaux

L’accueil, la disponibilité, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel nous ont régalés chaque jour. La Villa Cortine est magnifique et ses restaurants aussi délicieux que leur cadre est magique :-)

Nous aurions apprécié pour ces 4 nuits, une chambre donnant sur l’avant plutôt que sur l arrière, côté parking. Dommage aussi pour les toilettes dans la salle de bain.

Frühstück ist verbesserbar (nur Weißbrot, kein Gemüse, keine Saucen für den (sehr guten) Lachs, kein Cottagecheese oder ähnliches) und an Schlechtwettertagen fehlt ein Spa

äußerste Freundlichkeit & Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Personals. Und die Anlage einzigartig schön. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.

The hotel was excellent overall. The location, service, and beautiful views were wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that some of the furniture and decor felt a little outdated and could use some renovation. Another issue was the large number of small flying insects around the balcony in the evening. Unfortunately, this made it almost impossible to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view, as they would quickly get into the room as well. It would be great if the hotel could find a solution to this. Despite these issues, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider coming back

Sound isolation in all the rooms we tried is truly terrible and you will not be able to get a good bight sleep. Especially when the hotel has many guests who do not behave

Expansive, property with gardens, exquisite decor and magnificent views of Lago di Garda. Excellent dining for breakfast and dinner. Superb staff.

Driving through the historic center of Sirmione is challenging during tourist hours since the cars are competing with throngs of people that flood the narrow streets. When we arrived it was at 3pm near check in time and I didn't expect the narrow streets where either a car or people could go, not both! On the day of our departure, we elected to leave at Saturday 8:15 am before the crowds came and did a day trip to Salò on the western shore which was lovely.

Grounds are unbelievable

Villa Cortina is a good hotel with a very nice location on Lake Garda. The views of the lake are lovely, and the breakfast was fine with a decent selection. Overall, it was a solid and comfortable stay.

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are amazing. We had lunch by the beach which was lovely and a dinner in the garden, equally delightful.

The pillows - they had little give and were not of the quality of everything else at the hotel.

Beautiful property with a wonderful view of the lake and a very well-maintained garden. Nice pool and private beach. Excellent location for a romantic getaway for two.

There is no service of the food and drinks on the pool - we had to write a message on whatsapp.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and professional - very good. The gardens and the views were exceptional. There was a short cut into the town at the back of the hotel so a mere 3 minutes walk to the restaurants and shops. Also they ran a "golf buggy" service into town. Location could not be beaten. A wonderful selection of food for breakfast which could be eaten outside making the most of the weather.

The pool area was beautiful and the life guards were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. I would have liked some form of cushion on the sunbeds - but if that is all I can find to mention, the hotel is doing very well!

honestly - heaven on earth. lovely big room with a balcony and lake view. we were greeted with a bottle of bubbly and fresh strawberries. the staff were so nice. breakfast was excellent. the hotel has vast gardens with a lot of places to sit and relax in. a pier over the lake that enables you to jump right in. a nice big pool. we had the belvedere dinner - just the two of us, with candles and flower and exquisite food and wine. will come back for more

Location, setting, grand palace with beautiful gardens and amazing views of the lake. Friendly staff. Excellent freshly made gluten free cakes in the morning. Clean swimming pool, well kept.

Service when busy was very slow. It felt like they needed a few more staff to help speed things up. Limited vegetarian options and limited gluten free options. Mosquito-infested in the evenings so it was difficult to sit outside. Rooms did not get refreshed until late afternoon each day, despite us placing the “please clean room” sign from breakfast time. Again, that was just a result of having too few staff.

NOT SOUNDPROOF WALLS, breakfast is so so, towels smelled vinegary, not equipped bathroom (in this level most the 5 starts provide razors etc)

Die Lage ist phantastisch!!! Das Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick zum See wunderschön! Das Frühstück ist aussergewöhnlich ! Sogar der Kaffee hat mir geschmeckt, was in Italienischen Hotels nicht immer der Fall ist! Und die Dolcis einmalig! Beim Abendessen auf der Terrasse wurden wir geflissentlich eine halbe Stunde lang übersehen, wir wollten die Rechnung abzeichnen, jedoch rannten ständig 3 Angehörige des Hotelpersonals an uns vorbei, obwohl wir uns verbal und mit Handzeichen meldeten!!!!!!

Hotel lindo situado na Península Sirmione, no Lago de Garda. Não obstante a permanente agitação turística da península, o hotel fica situado em um vasto terreno que o mantém isolado e, portanto, afastado da confusão. Os jardins do hotel são idílicos e as suítes confortáveis. A decoração dos quartos e a própria construção seguem o estilo super clássico, mas é tudo bem cuidado, com todas os confortos da “vida moderna”. Os funcionários são muito gentis. Café da manhã servido em um belo salão, com qualidade compatível com a categoria do hotel. Lindas vistas do lago por toda a propriedade.

Friso que não tive a oportunidade de experimentar muito da comida e bebida servidas no hotel, fora o café da manhã, para emitir uma opinião mais aprofundada. Mas cheguei a pedir um drinque no bar que achei caro e bastante inexpressivo. Não sei se é orientação do próprio hotel, mas o pianista que fica no local no fim da tarde, toca o instrumento alto demais, a ponto de quem está por perto não conseguir conversar.

Beautiful property , very well located . My second visit - first in April - got a larger room this time it was smaller . Franco and the team at the front office as well as the breakfast staff were outstanding . Fantastic spread for breakfast too

Condescending and downright rude & racist attitude of the staff during lunch service at the bar . From the senior most gentleman to the youngest lady serving us . Each one was worse than the other and frankly unacceptable when you are paying such prices . Would NOT recommend lunch service there .

The hotel staff were amazing. So helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are stunning. Super pool. Real luxury. Breakfast was good.

The bedrooms are lovely although the doors are very noisy. When people leave there rooms in the morning you hear the doors banging and you can also hear people in other rooms walking around.

The villa and grounds are picturesque. There are many unique places to relax. The service is top rate.

L'odeur désagréable de fuel à la piscine à l'origine incertaine. Soit le passage des ferry, soit le chauffage de l'eau de la piscine en est là cause ?

The hotel and grounds are just stunning. We really enjoyed walking around the immaculately kept grounds and the views all round were simply beautiful. The service was excellent and the location was just perfect, walking distance to the town with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants.

All it needs is a spa and wellness centre.

The villa continental palace is an amazingly beautiful hotel. The food was really good, the service was excellent. The reception upon arrival was lovely a glass of sparking wine and escort to the room which was next level beautiful.

Lack of choices on the drinks list outside of spritz and wine. As someone who enjoys sweeter cocktails only thing I ended up drinking was water and baileys. I tried adding few others but couldn't find any I enjoyed. Food is a little restricted for those who dont like seafood, though they had some beautiful dishes.

La villa es imponente y uno se traslada en el tiempo…. además tiene una escala q hace q el servicio sea bastante personalizado y uno se mueva por las instalaciones muy tranquilamente. El edificio, los jardines y el muelle son lugares soñados…

si tuviera algo para criticar es que le falta un gimnasio….

A comida do restaurante/bistro poderia ser melhor, bem como o acesso ao hotel.

Le parc , la villa, le restaurant grill dans le jardin coté villa cortine, la vue sur le lac, le calme des lieux, la gentillesse du personnel, le room service, la qualité et le confort de la chambre sauf l'insonorisation, l Le grill sur le ponton

Le bruit a 6 heures tous les matins probablement par le personnel qui commence la journée... il y a un gros problême d'insonorisation des chambres dans le batiment qui prolonge la villa cortine. Beaucoup de bruits par les enfants (pourtant seulement 3!) autour de la piscine qui n'arêtaient de crier et sauter dans l'eau devant nos transats... le surveillant a beaucoup laissé faire alors qu'il voyait manifestement que ca gênait les personnes autour !

Man braucht lediglich sehr starke Nerven für die Anreise wenn man durch sirmione Altstadt mit dem Auto fährt,v.a wenn sehr viel los ist (bei uns Ostern) ; würde in Zukunft Wsl eher das Auto draußen parken und zu Fuß zur Villa gehen …
