設備が故障していて使えなかった。部屋に入って洗面所のトイレのゴミ箱を見たら汚物が残っていて衝撃だった。布団にも死んだ虫が挟まっており、信頼出来ない清潔感で落ち着くことができなかった。

Très bon hôtel familial bien placé au centre de Grindelwald mais quand même au calme car en retrait de la route principale. Point positif la place de parking et le fait que l'hôtel possède un restaurant. Le personnel était très agréable, serviable. Le déjeuner et le repas du soir était de très bonne qualité, nous avons beaucoup aimés.

Rien de très grave mais l'oreiller était trop mou.

Achei o valor muito alto pela entrega. O quarto estava um pouco deteriorado e a limpeza foi falha. Quando chegamos, tinham várias moscas mortas espalhadas pelo quarto. Isso não é aceitável em um hotel que cobra este valor. Além disso, o quarto era extremamente quente. O atendimento também pode melhorar. Quando comparado com outros hotéis dessa faixa de preço, percebe-se que falta um processo melhor estruturado de atendimento.

We stayed in the Chalet Suite with Balcony and Mountain View for 3 nights and loved it! The room had recently been updated and was the perfect set up for our family of 4! The view is unbeatable and the location of the hotel was right in the center of town so we could walk to everything within 10 minutes. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub as well - a perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking!

Honestly, there wasn't really anything we didn't like about this hotel.

It was such a pleasure to be a guest in a family owned and run hotel. All the staff were obviously so well trained and attentive. It was like stepping backing into a much kinder and enjoyable time.

The hotel location is perfect in the center of Grindelwald, very close to the first lift. The service at the restaurant was excellent and the food good. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was very nice to relax the legs after a day of hiking. Finally the view of Eiger from the room was breathtaking.

The location is convenient to the nearby train station (<10 min walk), stores/bars/restaurants, as well as the cable car to First Mountain. The staff are so kind and willing to help at any time. The balcony is amazing!

I visited during a heat wave around Europe, and there's no AC in the room, which kinda makes sense at that altitude. It can be mitigated by opening the window, but it may bring in some gnats. Again, it wasn't too bad, and I understand it's due to global warming and the Super El Niño 2026.

Very close to all you'll want to do. Breakfast was great and views were incredible. There was a kids room that I had to tear my kids away from.

Only one staff member was a bit rude, but rest were very delightful! The hot tub wasn't hot but we didn't complain so maybe this could have been adjusted. Wishing they were a bit less expensive but we did come during summer...

We had a wonderful stay at Parkhotel Schoenegg. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the wellness area was perfect after a day of hiking. The location is ideal, with easy access to the village and the First cable car. We felt very well looked after and would happily return

Great location with amazing views, lovely swimming pool, nice breakfast and friendly/helpful staff. They helped with advice about the town and activities and were able to sell us tickets for some. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived during an extreme heatwave, so the rooms were hot, but the hotel was able to provide a fan which helped a lot. The rooms cooled down during the night. There is no mini-fridge in the room

Amazing hotel and location was superb- outstanding view and steps to everything!

Overall we had a wonderful time staying here. The rooms were very clean and updated, the food was great, and location couldn’t be matched. I would recommend this hotel. That said, a few observations: - No air-conditioning (which we were aware of. They don’t have fans for every room so be aware of this) . -Our rooms faced the back of the property (again, our choice). At various points throughout the day, we could smell cigarette smoke in our room coming from an employee on break below. Without A/C, the windows are open and this wafts up to the room. -We ordered pizza from TakeAway 191 on a day when it was pouring and restaurants were busy. There’s minimal counter space there to eat so we brought it back to the hotel and ate it in the lobby. Someone swiftly came in and told us this wasn’t “allowed”. Keep in mind they don’t serve lunch at Parkhotel. I’ve never been to a hotel, even a small boutique like this, where we were shunned for eating in the lobby. -Some waitstaff seemed annoyed when guests arrived for breakfast during the lazy 30 min of service. We observed a few signs and eye rolls that were unnecessary.

Compliments to the owners of Parkhotel Schoenegg. The hotel/chalet is very nice and conveniently situated. The hotel and rooms are very clean and airy. Exceptional and friendly restaurant staff, especially Melanie and Dario, who attended to us daily for breakfast and dinner. Claudia and the cleaning staff were very polite and helpful as well. I generally stay at big American chains, but thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and its service. This was the best place I stayed at on this vacation. アイガービューが最高です。それだけで価値があるほどに素晴らしいバルコニーです。あと朝食、ディナー共に美味しいです。また駅から近いため、スーツケースがあっても簡単にアクセス可能です。 あと清掃も素晴らしく、バルコニーの掃除まで行ってくれます。

仕方ないのないことですが、お向かいのサンスターホテルの照明が明るく星空は楽しめません。

The location was fantastic, and our balcony had spectacular mountain views. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, helping us settle into the room and even pointing out the surrounding mountains from the balcony. The free shuttle service to and from the station was very convenient, even when arranged at the last minute. The spa was also lovely and a great place to relax.

The room felt a little dated and could benefit from some updating, especially considering the price

A very traditional hotel that needs modernity. Air conditioning and more up to date fixtures and fittings. The dining room is desperately in need of updating and improving the lighting. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in and we had basic rooms at nearly £500/night so it wasn’t great value.

We recently stayed at Park Hotel Schoenegg in Grindelwald and honestly could not fault a single thing about our experience. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, and great to come back to after long days exploring the area. One thing we really appreciated was how much information was available throughout the hotel about excursions, activities, and places to visit. It made planning our days so easy and stress-free. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team — from housekeeping, reception, porters, bar staff, and restaurant staff — Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with any questions we had. The level of service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The food was also genuinely out of this world. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and being on Half-Board, the menu changed each night, without a doubt, it was the best food we have ever had abroad. In our opinion, this is definitely the number one hotel in Grindelwald, we will 100% recommend to family and friends, and we truly hope to return someday.

Super Freundliches Personal Die Zimmer sind leider sehr klein jedoch sehr schön eingerichtet und super sauber.Das MorgenBuffet war gut. und hatte alles Standartmässige dabei. Auch hier waren die Angestellten sehr Freundlich und symphatisch. Cool ist das es ein Hotelinternes kleiner Hallenbad hat weöches man als Gast umsonst nutzen kann. Parkplätze sind auch genügen vorhanden und man könne gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis sogar einen Parkplatz in der Garage mieten was ich sehr cool finde. Die Lage des Hotels ist grandios, man ist tirekt im Zentrum.

Preis-Leistungsverhältniss meiner Meinung nicht ganz gerechtfertigt. Das Licht des kleiner Schminkspiegel im Bad funktionierte leider nicht und die Duschprause war sehr klein und sehr verkalkt.

We stayed here for four nights with our family including 2 kids (ages 3 and 6) and had the most amazing stay. Could not have asked for more. The view was incredible, the beds comfortable and excellent central location right next to firstbahn and only a ten min walk to the train (or easy 2 min bus ride). Breakfast had a great spread including yogurt, meats and cheeses, breads and jams, hot foods, cereal, smoked salmon and more. Add to that pool, hot tub and a game room with pinball machines and a gaming console. Our kids had a blast. The service was top notch - would highly recommend (especially for families) and would love to come back again.

The staff are friendly and wonderful. I stayed here for the first time in 15 years, and it's been renovated and is clean and comfortable. Even if you get tired from hiking, you can recover in the sauna or jacuzzi. The breakfast also has a wide variety of options, typical of Switzerland foods which you want to.

The hotel has a parking. The spa is OK, very clean but nothing special. Only 2 saunas, a swimming pool and a whirlpool bath. Not many people around.

The room was not the one matching the photos. The bed was small and with a hole near the bedhead where the pillows kept going down. Staff at the reception could be nicer. Typical passive aggressive Swiss behaviour. They smile and try to be nice but they are faking it so clearly, that feels uncomfortable.

To me it's insane that this hotel is listed as a 3 star hotel. It's better than the vast majority of 4 star hotels we stayed in in Switzerland - at least for the things we care about: - They have 2 saunas and one of them is proper hot. - They have properly cold cold plunge pool. - There is a big indoor swimming pool that you can actually swim in - instead of just splash around in a mini pool like most hotels. - The distance to the ski lift (up the mountain called "First") is super close - 3 minutes of walking. - The hotel feels cozy. Breakfast is decent. The hotel staff is very friendly -- and in general everything gives off a "family-run hotel" vibe. - Our bathroom had an actual window that we could use to air out any humidity. - They have bathrobes and good comfy slippers. - Free parking right in front of the hotel - A ski depot with boot warmers

Absolutely minor things: - We heard some minor sound from the elevator that was located next to our room -- so the sound isolation is not perfect. Wouldn't expect it for the price, though. - The room is a bit dated (e.g. a bathtub shower, some furniture). However, it is still kept in a near perfect condition.

We spent three days at Parkhotel Schoenegg during a longer stay in Switzerland. While we were at Parkhotel, I proposed to my partner up on Mount First. I told the front desk about the proposal, and that it was a surprise, and they wanted to help us celebrate after we got back! At dinner, they pulled out all the stops with a candle, champagne, a signed card by the staff, and a personalized dessert. We also found other goodies in our room when returned after dinner. They went above and beyond in every way for us. Parkhotel is family owned and operated and it shows. Our first night there was an open mic night that we loved. So many musicians performed, including us, and you got a free drink if you performed! The facilities are incredible. The free breakfast is a huge spread of freshly fried eggs, fruits, many breads, cereals, cheese and meats, etc. The spa, saunas, pools, and tea relaxation room were so amazing to experience. They picked us up from the train station too! Thank you for such a perfect trip. We can't wait to return and recommend to everyone we know.

We have stayed at the Schoenegg a number of times over the past 30 years and have always enjoyed the welcome, the rooms, the food and most of all the courteous friendly staff. The next (5th) generation of family have taken over the management of the hotel which is an additional pleasure, since a family run business feels warmer and closer to its guests than a hotel forming part of a chain. I highly recommend the Schoenegg. New visitors will not regret the choice.

We could not have asked for a better hotel experience! We stayed for 6 nights and their Winter Deal was perfect--it included 3 days of skiing, a huge lovely breakfast buffet every day, and a 5-course dinner each night. Also, they have laundry service every day which was a lifesaver for light packers. The staff treats you like family--Sven, Manuela, Ea, Jakob, Jennifer, and Dario were all PHENOMENAL hosts :) Pool and sauna areas were also relaxing and immaculate. We will definitely come again!

Great location to many shops and restaurants. Truly the staff in the dining room were excellent, and we all enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Thank you Parkhotel Schoenegg!

Wonderful hotel in Grindelwald near the Grindelwald First terminal. The location is fantastic, as it is steps to the First terminal, and is an easy walk to town and the Grindelwald train station. The stay includes the Grindelwald Card, which allows free bus rides from right outside the hotel through the town to the Grindelwald terminal with access to ski slopes and activities in the Jungfrau region. The staff also arranged free transport for us to and from the hotel and the train station upon departure. We loved the small and personalized feel of the hotel. The owners are in the lobby, lounge/bar and restaurant every day talking to guests, which is rare at any hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and were able to answer our questions about the area. The bar and lounge area was open every night with good beer and wine, as well as snacks. The lounge has a pool table, and numerous tables available to play cards, board games, etc. in the evening. While we did not eat dinner at the restaurant, it was always full in the evenings. The included breakfast in the mornings was good as well. Our hotel rooms were very clean, comfortable, and modern inside. Our mountain view rooms had outdoor terraces, which allowed us to view the beautiful mountains surrounding the town. The hotel appeared to be be mostly occupied, but was very quiet in the room areas upstairs. Overall we loved this hotel and considered it to be an excellent value for the quality of service and personal hospitality we received. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Grindelwald.
