Close to train station so reasonable walking distance. View from balcony was excellent. Nice view of cliff face and part of Eiger.

Breakfast was very basic continental style. Not a large selection of food. WiFi was spotty in our room on the top floor, constantly dropping the signal. No elevator for someone with mobility issues.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The cleanliness is extremely poor, and there is nothing else positive to say. It is also very expensive and absolutely not worth the price.

The daily housekeeping is very careless and feels like they are just going through the motions. They don’t even remove the hair from the bathtub, let alone vacuum the carpet. There was even hair left on the bedding. It seems to be a family-run business, and the standards don’t appear to be as strict or consistent as those of a chain hotel. I also got the impression that leftover breakfast food might be served to guests again the following day. The hotel is also very expensive and absolutely not worth the price.

Da wir die Unterkunft als Übernachtungsort während des Greenfields genutzt haben, waren wir nicht oft im Gebäude. Das Personal war aber immer enorm lieb und das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir brauchten - wir sind sehr zufrieden. :)

All the staff were helpful and kind. When I asked where I could rent hiking poles, the proprietor loaned me a pair for the duration of my stay. They also held my suitcase after checkout on my last day so I could squeeze in one last hike. Breakfast was limited but sufficient. Location on main street of town is close to almost everything. Street-facing room meant some crowd noise into the night (expected), but the windows were well-soundproofed and shut out 90% of the noise. My strategy: leave windows open throughout the evening to cool the room, then close them before climbing into bed. Alternately, spring for an Eiger-facing room.

The shared bathroom generally worked except when I couldn't tell whether it was in use. Some guests apparently closed the door after they finished, so I once waited 15-20 minutes thinking someone was showering before gently knocking and finding it empty. Suggestion to management: place a sign asking guests to leave the door open after use.

Die Mitarbeitenden waren allesamt so freundlich und zuvorkommend, wie ich es selten erlebt habe. Die Ausstattung ist auf das Grundlegende beschränkt, man sollte keinen Luxus erwarten. Dennoch ist alles da was man für einige Tage benötigt. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Alle waren sehr freundlich ggü meinem Kind.

The location for Hotel Tschuggen was perfect, right on the main road in the center of Grindelwald. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. I was a little concerned about the lack of air conditioning given that we were visiting during a heat wave, but Grindelwald stays a little cooler due to being at higher elevation and our room stayed comfortable. It is a small hotel and the rooms aren't large, but we really enjoyed our stay. It was also much less expensive than other hotels we checked nearby.

I do not like stand-in-the-bath showers. The water pressure was extremely low, and you must wait a long time (and waste a lot of water) till the hot water comes. This is a "garni" without a common space like a lounge.

Christoff and the rest of the staff were always helpful and boy, do they pack a great takeaway breakfast. The regular breakfast was fantastic too, I loved the muesli and rolls. It’s worth it to get a balcony with an Eiger view, and the room was large and comfortable. The location is perfect. My teenage niece and loved staying there

Das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage mit Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge sowie kurze Wege zu Bussen, Zügen und Gondeln. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichlich und schmackhaft.

Das Zimmer war extremst abgewohnt und altmodisch. Das Hotel ist hellhörig und natürlich steht und fällt dann die Erholung mit der (Nicht)Rücksicht der Nachbarn.

(예약한 방 기준입니다.) 욕실시설이 조금 열악할수 있습니다. 화장실이 좁고, 가격대비 방도 좁게 느껴질수 있습니다 일반 호텔보다요. 하지만 곧바로 감사히 적응 가능한 뷰와 위치, 가격입니다. 방에는 에어컨이 없습니다. 붙어있는 가족단위 방보다는 단일방을 많이 추천합니다.(뷰가 최고) 개인적으로 욕실 바닥에 물이 젖는 것을 몹시 싫어하는데요 (체크인시 주의도 받았지만) 샤워칸과 몇뼘거리인 얇은 방수천 하나만 걸쳐진 상태에서는 조심을해도 물이 튈 수밖에 없어 아쉬웠어요. 실제로 묵는 도중 몇번씩 바닥 셀프청소를 했습니다. 세면대가 좁고 낮아 바닥에 물이 흥건해지기 너무 쉬운 구조입니다. 클리닝하는 분을 위해 무언가 개선되면 좋을 것 같아요. 방에 바퀴벌레가 나와서 잡았는데 이건 하루 창문하나를 열고 잔 이유일겁니다. (입실시 커튼에 가려져 있는 부분이 열려있었어요.) 방충망이 없는데 샬레의 특성이기에 쉽게 감안합니다. 화장실 및 잠잘때 덥더라도 창문은 열지마세요.

非常優質的飯店，員工熱情親切，早餐豐盛好吃，重點是離車站跟coop很近。我們入住四人房，有一個私人陽台，後面就是山景，我們在這度過相當美好的時光。

We had a room with a balcony and view of the Eiger. It was wonderful! The breakfast was excellent but was the same every day. We were there 5 days and a little variety by day 3 would have been an added bonus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only wish was to have a refrigerator in the room to store cheese and snacks. But we would definitely stay here again.

エレベーター、冷蔵庫はなかった（受付に頼むと冷やしてくれた）。朝食は、コンパクトなお部屋で食べた。やや量や種類が少ない点が残念だったが、スタッフがテキパキ働いており、好感が持てた。

駅から近いので、非常に便利。スタッフが親切。トレイルの状況、買い物の相談等に対応してくれた。 予約間近になって色々質問したが、迅速に丁寧に対応してくれたので行く前の不安がなくスムーズだった。朝食も良い。

エレベーターなし。シャワーがもう少し湯量があるとベスト。備品（湯沸かしポット、カップなど）ほぼなし。想定内なので問題なし。

老闆幫忙提行李上樓，早餐好吃。

思っていたよりも部屋が広く、スーツケースをふたつ広げるスペースがあった。 部屋に棚があり、荷物の整理がしやすかった。 バスタブがありゆっくりできた。 朝食が美味しいし、足りないものはないですか？っと丁寧でした。

金曜日の夜は、近くのberが賑やかだった。 道を歩く人たちの騒ぎがよく聞こえた。

Location is perfect! The employees were amazing, they did their best to accommodate us, loved the outdoor part where you can just watch the mountains. I would come back here again and bring my family.

If you’re noise sensitive, bring earplugs. You can hear the people outside, if your room is facing the streets and you can hear your neighbors if they’re speaking. Loudly. But all that, were tolerable for me.

Very central and great location. Easy to find and only 10 minute walk with luggage from train station.

Room was hot and didn’t have a fan. Reception told us they had some available when we checked out but didn’t offer any when we first arrived. Because it is very central to the middle of town it was noisy at night.

Clearest views of Eiger and Mönch from the backyard. Room was clean and spacious enough. Only disadvantage is that there is no lift. Breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred to have options for chicken as well. Location is close enough to Grindelwald station. Nearest bus stops take you to Grindelwald Terminal. Grindelwald First is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel.

They waste food for breakfast. They bring a basket of bread and some cheese and jam to our table. But it is a waste when a lot of us didn’t able to finish. One day i was there late so i couldn’t finish fast enough and asked to bring a croissant with me but she said no. I didn’t mean to greedy but just eating while on my way. And i dont like to waste food.

We loved everything about this place. This was our favorite hotel out of our whole trip. It was so clean, comfortable and the location was AMAZING. Speaking of amazing, the staff went above and beyond. Christophe was so kind and helpful. We couldn’t make breakfast one morning so he packed us a box to go. The breakfast was delicious with cereal, granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, bread basket with jams and the best coffee. The location is right next to First , less than a 10 minute walk . There is also the most delicious crepe place down the street. You can also enjoy a walk through the neighborhoods and see cows and the most gorgeous views. There’s a farm not too far that sells fresh milk out of a machine but they only take Swiss coins (no euros) . They also had a place for us to park our car, I just can’t say enough nice things. We really enjoyed our time here and did not want to leave .

早餐很好吃，服務人員親切，位置也很不錯，走去first山的纜車跟火車站都不遠（因為剛好在中間）但我覺得這個距離很剛好，要搭公車也行，但我們覺得走路就滿方便的，不過如果要去少女峰的話就要搭公車去另一個轉運站。

Excellent place to stay! The room was super comfortable and the view from the balcony was awesome! It was straight out of a postcard. No joke. The place is in the dead centre of Grindelvald. Super close to the train station. A bus stop is right opposite the place. There were convenience stores and Coop nearby as well. Mr Cristoph and Ms Birgett were super helpful and accommodating! The were very warm, welcoming and forthcoming with ideas on things to do around the region. Loved the stay!

Only one hiccup, the heater didnt work. But! They gave us a portable one! So it was alright!

It’s easily accessible by foot or bus from the Grindelwald station. I love that it has an eiger view. Very clean and the staff are very accommodating. The breakfast is also so good and filling. Overall, good value for money, and our stay was great and very memorable.
