Staff were pleasant but not overly friendly or helpful Breakfast was included but was limited and poor. Just ate fruit. I emailed before we came asking about laundry service as we were on a longer trip.. they said yes... then no when we arrived. Some terrace seats broken and uncomfortable

裸足で歩くのが好きなのだが、足の裏に砂のようなものがたくさんついて、靴下を履かざるを得なかった。 こんなホテルは滅多にないので、かなり残念に感じた。 歴史的建造物だからかもしれないが、ポットがなく、冷たいものしか部屋で飲めない。 空調を調整できない。 ブランケットが置いていない（貸してもらった）。

Our suite was really spacious, simple old-fashioned in the spirit of the city itself, but the view from the your private terrace of the suite is something that exceeded our expectations! Marvelous at day, as at night! Pack lightly, as the hotel is locatedin the pedestrian zone and it is not approachable by car/other transportation.

Беше безупречно чисто, но стаята въобще не отговаряше на очакванията - буквално беше "запушена", а в ревютата трябваше да имаме изглед, балкон...... Нищо подобно. Закуската беше скромна, персоналът - любезен. Изгледът от терасата на хотела - превъзходен.

Fuimos en Agosto "época de mucho calor" y el Aire Acondicionado estaba seteado a 28°C sin poder mosificarlo, y consultamos a la recepción y nos contestaron que esa era la temperatura programada. En conclusión, afuera de la habitacion estaba mas fresco que dentro de la misma.

Pas de nécessité de passer par l'accueil, les nombreux escaliers et chemins mènent à la chambre en toute indépendance. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment complet et varié, cela a été un vrai plaisir dès le matin. Personnel attentif.

Nonostante il bel restauro conservativo fatto, la struttura risulta un po’ datata. Il letto e i cuscini, a nostro avviso un po’ scomodi. La camera non era pulitissima.

Situato nel cuore della zona storica, vicino alla chiesa rupestre della madonna dell’Idris. Centro visitabile a piedi e zona pienissima di ristoranti e botteghe artigianali. Comodo anche il parcheggio comunale di Via Saragat dal quale parte la navetta che al costo di €1,50 a persona porta a due minuti dall’hotel raggiungibile salendo giusto qualche gradino. Buona la colazione e staff gentilissimo e disponibile.

La camera che ci hanno dato non era proprio come descritta. Avevo prenotato una junior suite per due persone, in realtà era una camera quadrupla su due livelli senza balcone. I bagni della camera erano molto vecchi.

Además, nos tocó una habitación con una terraza grande donde se puede pasar una tarde romántica (hay mesitas y sillas). También me gustó mucho el desayuno. Es bastante variado, con opciones dulces y saladas, además de mucha fruta fresca. Todo el buffet se veía muy bonito.
Creo que el hotel se ve mejor en las fotos que en realidad, ya que necesita un poco de reforma. Nuestra habitación era muy, muy sencilla, prácticamente ascética. El baño no me gustó: era muy pequeño, con instalaciones bastante antiguas y sin mucho estilo. Además, la terraza parecía un poco descuidada y desordenada. Creo que estos aspectos se podrían mejorar. En la habitación había una pequeña nevera con bebidas de pago. Está bien que haya esta opción, pero creo que al menos el agua debería ser gratuita. Otra cosa que me resultó bastante desagradable fue el olor muy fuerte a detergente que había en la habitación.

Mała, niefunkcjonalna łazienka, pleśń pod prysznicem. Prysznic wielkości 40*50, za mały żeby pomóc dziecku umyć włosy lub dla kogoś z nawet lekka nadwagą.

Le indicazioni per arrivare all'alloggio, per me, non sono state adeguate. MI è stato indicato un parcheggio per l'auto dicendo che l'hotel era a pochi minuti a piedi, senza però dare adeguate indicazioni sul percorso da seguire. Seguendo il percorso proposto dall'app, con le valige al seguito, ho impiegato circa 15 minuti di sali-scendi per le caratteristiche scale dei Sassi di Matera; bello ma che fatica sotto il sole di fine luglio ... Segnalata la difficoltà alla reception mi è stato detto che purtroppo i navigatori non individuano le gallerie per consigliare il percorso più breve. Consiglio alla proprietà di mandare agli ospiti delle indicazioni chiare per il percorso più breve per raggiungere l'hotel. La camera era molto umida, così come la biancheria del letto. Comprensibile visto la particolarità della stanza annegata nella roccia ma una migliore gestione dell'umidità e della biancheria l'avrei gradita.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Tolle Aussicht, Lage mitten im Sassi, gutes Frühstück. Trinkwasserspender steht zur Verfügung. Wir hatten einen Zimmerwechsel, das war überhaupt kein Problem.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Terasse/Balkon. Das Zimmer war (typisch für einen Felsenzimmer) leicht feucht, dadurch war auch die Bettwäsche immer etwas klamm. Das stellte für uns jetzt kein Problem dar, man sollte es aber wissen wenn man in solch einer Unterkunft übernachten möchte. Einrichtung schon etwas älter.

La posizione della struttura è sicuramente uno dei suoi punti di forza: offre una vista straordinaria sul Duomo ed è comodissima per raggiungere a piedi la piazzetta, i locali, i ristoranti e le principali attrazioni della città. La camera è piuttosto piccola, ma accogliente, funzionale e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Molto apprezzato anche il minibar con acqua, bibite e birra a disposizione. La pulizia è stata buona e gli ambienti sono ben curati. Ottima anche la colazione, varia e abbondante, con diverse proposte sia dolci che salate, perfetta per iniziare la giornata. Nel complesso abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo soggiorno e la posizione, insieme alla splendida vista, rende questa struttura davvero speciale. Un’ottima scelta per vivere e scoprire la magia di Matera! La consigliamo sicuramente. ❤️

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Amazing place in the heart of Sassi. I got a room with a breathtaking view from the window and from the tarrace where we could sit all night with a drink. The reception was open 24h and we could get a glass of wine long time after the bar was closed. The room was very spacious and clean. Aircondition was warking perfectly. The staff was very helpful and friendly

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Location was perfect for us, 5 minute walk from taxi drop off/pick up. Our suite was just a couple of minutes from reception with a rooftop terrace, ideal for a couple of glasses of wine before bed. Only criticism is the shower room/toilet/was tiny as was the shower in our suite. Be aware the 40+ rooms are located on 6 levels so a bit more of a journey for breakfast which we really enjoyed. Don't expect fried/scrambled eggs or bacon, sausages, although there were boiled eggs every day. A special complement to the lovely lady who takes your room number for breakfast and serves the best coffee. Always smiling and has a lovely sense of humour. Every member of staff was very helpful, to the point of taking you to your room to make sure you found it. There is a lift to the lower levels although we didn't need it.

Stanze molto umide dovute anche alla struttura delle stesse attigue alla roccia. Muffa sulle pareti. Esagerato uso di detergenti per la pulizia. Un paio di guasti in 2 giorni di permanenza
