The owner was very helpful and cordial, the property is well maintained and managed, its location to Ye Olde Six Bells and the airport.

The beds are a little small for my and my wife’s growing waistlines.

The location was perfect. We had all we needed. Outside the house there was a nice spot to have your breakfast. A pity we didn’ t have time to use it

A little bit narrow to move the ladder around when the sofa was «laid out» or the table was in use.

Lovely guest house with a nice host. Great to have a proper additional bed in the room for our son as generally get a camp bed/sofa bed as the option. Very clean and everything that we needed in the room. Parking good

I found the bed really uncomfortable - this is so subjective as I can see other people have reviewed the beds as comfy. For me, it was too hard and I barely slept - so didn't get any benefit from staying closer to the airport.

Great communication with Quasim. Although I did not meet him myself, our daughter did and she said he was very pleasant. Our room was lovely, very big with an equally big bathroom. We were at a wedding and needed a family room and was delighted after returning that there was 1 x double and 2 x single ...imagine our delight that we had a bed each.

The accomodation was outstanding, immaculately clean, parking was free and in the grounds of the property. The owner was extremely helpful and made everyone feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for him. I can’t recommend Lawn Guest House highly enough, we will definitely be returning there again.

It was very cute and we could walk to many places. The owner was very friendly and even picked us up from the airport and took us to the cruise terminal the next day.

Nothing really. The no air was hot for us because it was unusually hot the night we stayed but nothing you can do about the weather. My understanding is most places do not have air conditioning. We make the best of everything.

Lovely comfortable clean quiet place so close to the airport however very quiet and Horley is a lovely place with everything you need within easy walking distance

Host could not have been more helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean, nice facilities including a fan which was very welcome in the hot weather. We parked for holiday and the process was clear and smooth. Also used the airport shuttle. Pricing for shuttle and parking was good.

Quasim the host was welcoming and helpful. The building is well maintained, secure, and rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy access from/to Gatwick via bus, and train station is within walking distance as well - enjoyed a day trip to London. Wasn't an issue for me, but worth noting all rooms, as far as I could tell, are on the first and second floors accessible only via narrow stairs. Saw an older couple struggle with their luggage (who I helped out).

Excellent location for Gatwick Airport...a few minutes drive to North Terminal. Spotlessly clean, nice furnishings and everything you need in the room, we didn't have the continental breakfast so can't comment. Host was very helpful and friendly

Unfortunately we stayed probably on the hottest night of the year and the room was exceptionally warm, there was a fan and we had taken a spare, perhaps if the window had been closed during the day together with the curtains it may have helped

I made sure to request a very quiet room, and I got that, which was the most important thing. The location is fantastically convenient for the airport and yet the surrounding area is residential, very respectable and surprisingly peaceful.

The room was quite warm however the fan provided did help as did the nice big opening window. I think our room could perhaps do with a little tlc but nothing major and I would absolutely stay again so don't let that put you off.

Cozy, and quiet, perfect for a restful night. The room was very spacious, great for repacking. It was so easy to get to airport, a four minute walk and bus took me directly there. Perfect!! Quasim was so helpful, he helped me set up a late check-in— which was totally seamless. I left my phone in the room, and he packaged it and helped me set up a postal pick up. Truly could not ask for more!!! Will stay here every time I fly into and out of Gatwick.

The only thing that I liked was the fact of how close it was to the train station in Horley

One I would go down and my boyfriend would try to see if there was anybody there to help us and nobody was there. The door would be shut to the front desk and twice when my boyfriend and I got back to the hotel room we found stuff smeared on the headboard that we didn’t put their I would like it known my boyfriend and I washed the headboard ourselves also the light in the bathroom it worked for one day and then didn’t work the rest of the trip

Brilliant location for Gatwick Airport, only a 5 minute drive to the North Terminal. The coast was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything you need for your stay.

Other guests coming and going in the middle of the night kept us awake, not good when you have a really early start.

The staff/owner were very kind and helpful. The room was beautifully cared for, and the entire grounds were lovely. The hotel even offered a paid transport to the Gatwick airport very early in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel!

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough the location is excellent and the guest house is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and the owner was absolutely fantastic and friendly and went over and beyond in making my stay possible because I was let down by another hotel and honestly couldn't fault this place it was immaculate and finished to a very high standard. 10/10

Beautiful old mannor house set in the green neighborhood adjacent to Gatwick airport (10min) away. Very homey and cozy for a nights stay. Our three person room was quite large and comfortable for all of us. We all enjoyed the accommodations.

We stayed at the Lawn 3 different times on our recent trip to England, and each visit was great. The hotel is very lovingly run by Quasim and family, and spotlessly clean and artfully decorated. I like that it is so close to Horley town, which is lovely, with good restaurants, a great Waitrose Market, and friendly people. Room prices are very fair. Local bus is 5 minutes to and from the airport, easy to catch, and only 3 £.

We like everything about this hotel. Location is perfect, 2 min bus ride from the airport, 4 minute walk to Horley, and best of all no airplane or traffic noise. Quasim is a wonderful friendly host, and we're going back tomorrow for the 3rd time in 2 weeks!

Zimmer im Dachgeschoss war sehr heiß. Es gab zwar einen Ventilator, aber das eine Fenster ließ sich nicht ganz öffnen.

Room was hot. No A/C, radiator was still on a window closed. So sleeping was difficult.

The Lawn is always consistent in its approach, comfort, cleanliness and greetings. Very easy access to Horley. Looks fresh and not tired, which leaves a nice experience.

Not that I didn't like it. I appreciate there are times when the owners have to go out and do drop offs. Just easier access to refresher tea supplies, loo rolls etc. But a v minor point.
