Loved the location,the staff are amazing,lots of sercurty. pool area after a long day in Egypt,is a bonus. restaurants are a plus,no need to go out.

The staff make this place. Every one of them from the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant - all of them were warm, attentive and genuinely kind, and it turned a good stay into an unforgettable one. Lovely clean and comfortable room (extremely comfortable bed), excellent facilities, great food and a perfect location. Cannot recommend it highly enough. I can't wait to come back.

The location was convenient and the property itself was fine.

I informed the property in advance that I would be arriving at 5 AM, before the standard 8 AM check-in time, and I was told that this was okay. However, when I arrived, I was unexpectedly charged double the price because I arrived at 5 AM. If an early arrival required an additional charge, this should have been clearly communicated before my arrival. I would not have agreed to this situation if I had known I would be charged double. I felt misled and taken advantage of.

Certains membres du personnel m’ont semblé un peu froids, ce qui est dommage pour un établissement de ce standing. Un accueil plus chaleureux et personnalisé serait apprécié. J’aurais également aimé que le spa propose un service de coiffure, ce qui serait un vrai plus pour les clients

Lovely Nile view from our room. Bedrooms are nice and well stocked. Check in and concierge staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was brilliant with such a variety of food and the staff were exceptional. Chocolate cafe was wonderful and luggage was held for the day of our check out as we were flying out late.

Lovely touches like a unique pillow menu but when we phoned for the pillows the staff didn’t understand what the options were and simply bought a soft, medium and firm one. My daughters were really excited about trying a scented/warm pillow and a leg pillow for myself but unfortunately no one seemed to understand what we needed. Staff training was evident in all other areas of the hotel (particularly front of house) apart from this. Gym was excellent with a lovely Nile view. Spa facilities were good (you need to book a slot for jacuzzi/steam/sauna but a little underwhelming. No fault of the hotel as I didn’t check this but worth noting there isn’t direct access across from the hotel to stroll along the Nile like some other hotels.

The location wasn't ideal no footpaths to walk anywhere and nothing in the area to do or see. Miles to the pyramids.

Our family stay at Kempinski Nile Hotel Cairo was truly wonderful. The hotel has an excellent location in Garden City, close to the Nile and many of Cairo’s main attractions, which made getting around very convenient. The cleanliness was outstanding throughout the hotel, especially in the rooms and common areas. Everything was very well maintained and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They always welcomed us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was excellent, efficient, and attentive throughout our entire stay. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was elegant, peaceful, and very family-friendly. We felt comfortable and well taken care of from the moment we arrived until our departure. Overall, we had an amazing experience and truly enjoyed our stay as a family. We would definitely choose Kempinski again on our next visit to Cairo and highly recommend it!

My wife and I stayed at the Kempinski Nile Hotel Cairo to celebrate our anniversary, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The room service team made our stay extra special by beautifully decorating our room and joining the celebration with a lovely cake, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. The view of the Nile River and the beautiful city of Cairo was absolutely amazing. The entire team was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, and the food was delicious. Thank you to the Kempinski Nile Hotel team for making our anniversary celebration so special. We truly enjoyed every moment and would be happy to come back again.

Muhammad Abdullah, from housekeeping, was especially hospitable. Made sure we were well taken care of, always provided us with enough water, clean towels and even arranged a beautiful, flower bouquet in our room. Very sweet and sincere.

Toiletries like shampoos, shower gels, lotions, etc are in a small portion only. Plus the window of cutting the electricity was such a hassle. It’s a Kempinski hotel not a small chain hotel.

It was not my first time staying at the Kempinski as I truly love their location, and my room view was a beautiful panoramic view of Cairo City which was beautiful to wake up to.

The staff were unprofessional, Ahmed from the reception front desk created many problems for me during the stay which seemed personal as he had a problem with me the previous year as well for speaking to me rudely, and this year he came to my room unanounced and knocked with a DO NOT DISTURB sign to pretend he is security and threaten me when he is not security - Yasser from security was very nice actually and understanding, however - everytime i explained the problem to a member of management they were surprised this was done and still no action was taken. Cleanliness was not up to standards, things were left in corridors by other hotel stayers for days - fruits/bags/etc. Hotel staff are rude and unfriendly, only a couple are nice like Christina & Hassan (front desk) and Emad (bellboy) - the rest were rude, nosy and generally unpleasant to speak to.

Unfortunately, there was very little to like about this property. My experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel.

The hotel was extremely disappointing. The location was inconvenient for my visit, the rooms were outdated and not very clean, and there was an unpleasant odor in both the room and the hallways. I also found a black stain on the bed, which was unacceptable. The breakfast was poor and did not offer the quality or variety I expected. Overall, the hotel felt neglected, and considering the amount I paid, it offered very poor value for money.

I chose Kempinski Nile Hotel Cairo expecting the exceptional hospitality associated with the Kempinski brand. Unfortunately, this became one of the most disappointing luxury hotel experiences my family and I have had. The issues were not limited to a single incident—they reflected repeated inconsistencies throughout our five-night stay. • Check-in: We upgraded to a Nile View Suite at an additional cost. During check-in, we specifically declined breakfast because we were asked whether we wanted to add it. Only on our final morning did we discover that breakfast had actually been included with the upgraded booking. Neither we nor our family members staying in other upgraded suites had been informed, meaning we unknowingly missed a benefit we had already paid for. • Butler Service: One of the hotel’s premium services was introduced during check-in. The butler escorted us to the room and advised that he would be available throughout our stay. Unfortunately, that was the first and last time we saw him. • Housekeeping: We were told the room would receive twice-daily service. In reality, housekeeping was inconsistent. The minibar was not always replenished, Nespresso capsules were missing on some days, and the room was not always refreshed to the standard expected of a luxury hotel. • Breakfast Service: The service varied significantly from one day to another. On our final morning, no one approached our table to offer tea or coffee, used plates accumulated without being cleared, and I eventually had to request basic table service while several staff members were standing together talking. • Concierge: Throughout our 17-day holiday in Egypt, this was the least helpful concierge service we experienced. We asked for recommendations and assistance planning our time in Cairo, but the guidance provided was minimal and lacked the level of knowledge and support one would expect from a luxury hotel. By comparison, other hotels we stayed at proactively assisted us with recommendations and reservations. None of these issues alone would have defined our stay. However, together they reflected inconsistent service, poor communication, and a lack of attention to detail. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, and the facilities themselves are attractive. Unfortunately, luxury hospitality is defined by the quality and consistency of service, and in our experience, this fell well below the standards we expected from the Kempinski brand. I have shared my feedback directly with both the hotel management and Kempinski Corporate and hope these observations will be taken seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

The food was good, and some butler staff were great

Was impossible to sleep from crazy noise outside, better soundproofing needed. Wide awake at 3am. The staff were taking selfies with guest (unprofessional) but it got worse when we realised they were using them to post fake reviews. Don’t get anything delivered to the hotel it will go missing
