Reviewed Jun 3, 2026We stayed in a one-bedroom suite located on the second floor. Fortunately, the hotel has a lift, which was very convenient when travelling with luggage. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
The only minor drawback was the noise of the traffic from the nearby main road. However, this is to be expected given the hotel's convenient location. Also, the heat pump was not great but I think it just needed some service.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Location to central city is ok, but it is next to a main route through the city.
The room we stayed in needed a major upgrade 2 years ago and it has got worse since we last stayed there. Carpets are dirty and smelly, furniture is old with the couch being hard as concrete, taps are loose, toilet button not working properly etc etc. Well over priced for what you get.

The room was a lot smaller than the picture looks. But ok for two people Could do with having a sofa or chairs to sit on. Only have dining chairs to sit on or the bed. The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard. Also the towels weren't changed each day and the bathroom needs hooks for clothes and a shelf for toiletries.

Broken towel rail no where to hang towels and lack of shelving in bathroom. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on we ended up sitting on floor. Advertised 50 + tv channels I don’t think that is true. Overall expected more from this so call 5 star hotel. 😓

- •Excellent central location (close to town and hospital)
- •Good value for money
- •Convenient features (lift, easy key drop-off)

- •Occasional maintenance issues (dryer, heat pump, extractor fan) and limited consumables (toilet paper)
Cleanliness
8.9/10Consistently praised across reviews: 'VERY clean', 'spotless', 'impeccably clean'. A few mentions of rooms 'rough around the edges' but overall cleanliness is a clear strength.
Service
9/10Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and accommodating (manager praised, easy key drop-off). One isolated report of staff not addressing a maintenance issue, but overall service sentiment is strongly positive.
Location
9/10Multiple reviewers cite excellent, central location close to town and hospital; convenient for business and leisure. Main drawback: traffic/main-road noise for street-front rooms.
Room Quality
7.8/10Mixed feedback: very comfortable beds and great showers, pleasant decor in some units, but several comments about small rooms, limited storage, uncomfortable couches/chairs, and minimal kitchenware.
Amenities
7.9/10Functional amenities noted (good showers, available kitchens, lift), but multiple mentions of limited kitchenware, small dining tables, dryer not working well, limited toilet-paper supply and a heat-pump needing service.
Value for Money
8.8/10Frequently described as great value for money; many guests say they'd stay again and that the property offers good price-to-quality balance.
Food and Beverage
8.6/10Hardly discussed — occasional mentions of not having breakfast or no breakfast taken. No consistent praise or complaints, so assigned the target/typical rating.
Overall Experience
8.8/10Generally very positive overall: many repeat guests, recommendations and comments about returning. Some minor but recurring issues (noise, small rooms, occasional maintenance) temper an otherwise strong experience.
