Great location, if a little noisy, but not too bad!
Nothing!
Location was awesome. The room was very clean and good size. Decor was very unique.
Only downfall was the noise when the window was open. But we expected that.
Accueil, confort, localisation
Size of room and bathroom. Newer windows for sound prevention and fans were provided. Discount for parking garage.
Being that close to tourist central. Too busy for us, not hotel's fault. Location is easy but with a car is an extra step hauling luggage.
Fabulous location. Attached to M Fitzgeralds which is a great pub with live music everyday and good food.
No amenities. It’s loud since it’s right in the Latin Quarter (but that’s something you trade off with the location).
Perfect location
Too expensive for the size of room and no AC
Friendly staff, central location, if you're visiting for the nightlife its the perfect place to stay.
Location excellent. Guinness and food were great in the bar beneath. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Nothing
Wow, this place is buzzing: set above a bar with live music daily, right in the heart of busy Galway. Appreciated the call from reception to check we were on our way and explain which discounted carpark was easier (Hynes Road - few mins walk further away, but not the tight corners of Spanish Arches). Very cool interiors- loads of music references in the pictures, at reception etc. Friendly helpful staff.
Don’t stay here if you want a quiet one, the rooms are above the live music, do stay here if you want character and buzzing vibe. We barely had a window in our room - didn’t faze us, it was a place to sleep. Shame no breakfast included, but loads of bars and cafes all around.
Haha, was weer even wennen (-:
Convenience.
Noise level
Staff very friendly
Room a little bit small
The hotel was clean and in a good location in the city centre. The reception staff were very friendly and professional, and I received excellent service.
The main problem was the price. €240 for just one night for two people was far too expensive for what the hotel offered. There was no minibar, and the bathroom only had a standard bathtub. In my opinion, it was not worth the price paid.
Great location. Very nice and clean rooms. Front desk staff recommended a great pub with Trad music . Wonderful stay!
None
It was in a great spot and while the room was smaller, it was very comfortable and updated.
The door to the room is super thing and we heard every time someone came up the stairs or elevator. Mainly late at night.
L'emplacement
Location was great, staff friendly and clean
Room was a bit warm and, as warned, noisy. Just popped in the noise cancelling headphones and slept just fine.
Foarte bine amplasata, in zona cea mai vesela si vie a orasului
Wonderfully clean and well designed room, right in the centre of Galway
Location was good
Very small rooms
Right in the heart of it all.
Sometimes it was loud.
The location was great. Parking was not really convenient though.
The parking location. But that can’t be helped.
Staff was wonderful. Location was superb
Too many things didn’t work.
Excellent location to settled into the Latin quarters and be within walking distance. Parking in nearby parking garage, small vehicles only. Hotel provides a discount card, knocking it from 20 per day to 12. Friendly staff
Needs some updating and our decor pillows had noticeable new stains.
Great location, right in the thick if it.
Very small room…no air conditioning.
The location was great. The hotel and restaurant was fabulous.
I felt the price of the room was high.
Very helpful staff; enjoyed the onsite restaurant and bar. Very clean facilities.
I wouldn’t say that I didn’t like this, but I was surprised by the length of this hotel. Long connecting hallways. Small stairs to go up and down on to connect to another hall. It was unique. It was a bit confusing at first.
The location was great!! Nice bathroom!!
I did not like the artwork in the room. It was a bit creepy but the room itself was very well appointed.
Ubicación
Habitación muy chica
Loved this hotel. Great location, lovely room, very quiet, comfy bed. The staff was fabulous.
Nothing.
Location was great
Nothing
Room comfortable, one bedroom had a lot of space, location great for walking. Nice seating areas downstairs.
Bathrooms, especially sink is too small. Toilet right next to sink. Parking is far.
The location was amazing. It was so easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The staff was extremely friendly
The weather was beautiful during our stay, which meant the room was a bit hot for our liking
The location was perfect, and the rooms were well-appointed. It was a little noisy due to the music below, but it ended early enough not to affect our sleep.
Tricky parking when driving a large vehicle, and some distance to walk with the luggage. But the situation is understandable.
How clean and comfy the beds were
Very noisy especially during the street clean up around 4/5am, staff smashing barrels everywhere. But didn’t dampen our trip
Handy location, clean and warm rooms
Location
Best bathroom in our entire Ireland trip.
Fantastic location close to everything we needed
Nothing to dislike
This hotel is quaint and has everything you'll need. Very clean and serviced daily. Staff is so kind and helpful. There's The best pub underneath next door ,,part of.. and staff is great.. atmosphere brilliant and music and people having the crack .. excellent. I felt that we were in exactly the right place for our 2 nights away.
Room was little cold at start but the manager and reception fixed it all and we were so pleased and comfortable. View wasn't great but it is what it is.. a room looking onto roofs. We didnt notice really. Room 204.
The people were amazing and so freaking helpful

Location was good and the restaurant was nice.
It was extremely loud at night with the music. I think that should be stated in the hotel description so that families with small children know up front.
Cool, historic old hotel on Quay Street. The clerk at check in was the best. He is an asset to your staff, he was very helpful and kind.
Loud
Die Lage, das Personal, das Hotel, die Stadt!
Nichts!
It was very central in the city centre, near lots of shops and restaurants, not far from the train/bus station. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, giving us water n tea or coffee any time we needed it.
There was a bit of noise from the outside but that’s to be expected as we were so central in the city. Once the balcony door n windows were closed you couldn’t hear very much.
Slava is the best! Huge thanks to Slava at the front desk for being so helpful and professional. Great vibe and excellent service.
Convenient. Comfortable. Great stay
Nothing
The location was prime in the heart of Galway! Staff were exceptional and very clean rooms!
Parking is a challenge as it is a very tiny garage (the Spanish Arch) and actually finding the hotel on the street because maps doesn't actually lead you there it leads you to the Leonardo. They need to better assist with location although the girl was young who was at the counter and maybe didn't know how to help. They should explain that it is literally tucked between the restaurant and another business...so a tiny plaque and door you are doing into.
Location is perfect Staff were so friendly and helpful
Nothing
Very central and clean
Very warm in the rooms it was February and was sweltering in the room and no breakfast for
Tres bien situé, joli endroit, tres non accueil.
Great location
Very loud live music downstairs but we were made aware about that on check in & it was expected. No breakfast facilities but lots of restaurants close by
Staff and location
IT WAS IN STEPS OF ANYTHING I WANTED
Location was amazing and really quiet even though we were on the main street
Nothing
The front desk girl was the best ever, great recommendations and awesome vibe! I would come back for her sake alone
Your staff went above and beyond and we're so helpful even before we even arrived . Helping us out over the phone making sure everything was in hand . The location was perfect. Rooms were perfect and there is absolutely nothing negative we have to say at all.
Great location.
On first impression when we walked into the room there was a terrible smell and we noticed the window was held open with an empty water bottle, then when removing the bottle we saw a HUGH disgusting clump of black hair on the floor, there was also packaging from giftshops left behind from previous guests. Later that night upon our return we could hear very loud talking from the room directly behind our bed, after an hour I had to get the night porter who knocked and could not get a reply, we discovered it was the TV. The porter had to cut the electricity to the room to turn it off, surely there would be a concern for the wellbeing of the guest not being able to answer, perhaps they were ill. Anyway a couple of hours later the TV started up again and twice after that I had to go down 4 floors to report to the porter who again cut the electricity. In the morning we discovered there was only one bath towel which absolutely stank, the shower gel was empty and the shower curtain was hard to keep closed as 3 rings were missing. Upon checking out we brought the issues to the attention of the girl at reception, she played no attention, no apology and just said email management. Galway has some fantastic hotels, this one does not deserve your custom.
