Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Trevlig miljö och otroligt vacker utsikt. Personalen väldigt hjälpsamma och vänliga, positiva. Nyrenoverade rum och badrum, mycket fräscht. Trevligt med balkongen som vi utnyttjade på kvällen. Skön säng.
Vårt rum hade ingen ventilation så det blev mycket varmt. Fläkten räckte inte till. Hade vi balkongdörren öppen så blev vi rejält myggbitna. Stora, ilsket röda, uppsvullna bett som kliar fortfarande väldigt mycket. Gäller även mina 3 vänner. Saknade laktosfria varor till frukost. Kunde inte äta yoghurt, ha mjölk i kaffet eller bre smör på smörgåsen. Fick skaffa själv!!! Saknade möjlighet till middag på kvällen framför allt när sista tåget gick redan 17.30.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Great location high on a hill, with good views around the locality. Room was light and airy, with own balcony and OK facilities (but no kettle). Wonderful breakfast included in price. Helpful staff, who let us have breakfast early to meet our travel arrangements. Ample free parking. Sound of cowbells coming in from nearby fields through our open windows! So was 'in the country'/out of town, which means a car is the best way to get there (I don't think there are any bus services to the hotel).
Didn't have en-suite bathroom - just a washbasin - which seems a little unusual these days... but loos and showers were just down the corridor.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Świetna lokalizacja i super miejsce dla podróżujących z psami. Zaraz przy hotelu są szlaki do spaceru z psami. Dodatkowo jest 100 - letnia kolejka, która można również zwiedzić okolicę.
Brak łazienki w pokoju był dla mnie zaskoczeniem. Albo przeoczyłam to w opisie obiektu albo po prostu nie zwróciłam na to uwagi. Ale mimo wszystko prysznic był łatwo dostępny i toaleta również. Śniadanie raczej skromne (jajka wydzielone po jednym na osobę).

Très joli chemin pour se rendre à pied à Lucerne (40 mn) Chambre grande et très propre. Petit déjeuner excellent avec une vue exceptionnelle depuis la terrasse. Le personnel est très attentionné, le service très bien fait.
L'isolation sonore entre les chambres est améliorable

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Ambiente tranquillo in collina. Si dorme con il suono dei campanacci delle mucche. Però siamo vicinissimi a lucerna, che si raggiunge facilmente coi mezzi. Rientrando affaticati ci attende una vasca a idromassaggio nella nostra camera.

The view from the balcony was simply amazing — you can see the lake, the city, the mountains, and almost the entire Lucerne area with its beautiful surroundings. Being located above the city makes the panorama truly special. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, always ready to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Der Ausblick ist sehr schön und man konnte ihn auch auf der Terrasse beim Frühstücken genießen. Das Frühstück war ok, aber die Brotauswahl sehr eingeschränkt (es gab Vollkornbaguette, Toast und Croissants). Brötchen wären schön gewesen.
Die Ausstattung war einfach und hatte den Flair einer Herberge. Der Preis für die Übernachtung ist unseres Erachtens nicht gerechtfertigt.

There was no food or drink available. As hotel was up a steep hill the nearest place open to eat was a 50 minute STEEP walk. This is not explained on booking it even says hotel and restaurant on advertising

helaas geen airco en geen lift. Restaurant Michelin dus Michelinprijzen en niet geschikt voor ons om 's avonds te eten.

Kamer was erg benauwd. Er stond wel een losse airco maar die maakte zoveel lawaai dat je die 's nachts niet aan kunt doen. Badkamer was gedateerd, Geen lift in het gebouw,

das Geneinschaftsbad/ WC - hätte mir eher eigene Dusche/ WC gewünscht. Nachts ständig anziehen, rausgehen war etwas nervig aber nicht soooo schlimm. Frühstück war für mich sls Allergiker etwss schwierig. Da fehlte Auswahl - aber das, was da war, war auch sehr lecker.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Petit-déjeuner (avec vue!) compris, super service à la réception (late check in), personnel dispo et agréable. Chambres et sanitaires propres. Funiculaire vintage tout près pour descendre la butte Sonnenberg :), ticket compris dans le pass transports ZONE 10 Lucerne reçu pour la durée de séjour dans l'hôtel (un gros plus!). Jolis bois environnants invitant à la promenade. Parfait pour un séjour de 2 ou 3 jours.
Kriens est proche du mont Pilatus mais à 20 min de Lucerne en transports, 1h15 de Stans et Burgenstock, du Rigi, par ex. pas de resto/supermarché ouvert tard aux abords de l'hôtel sur la butte. Chambres au 1er peuvent être un peu bruyantes et il y fait assez chaud (dépend de l'orientation des vitres)

2층에 방이6개인데 공용욕실과 화장실 1개로 손님이 많을경우 불편.

The breakfast offered could be a little more comprehensive. There was no bacon or sausage option to accompany the eggs that were offered.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Staff were friendly and the breakfast was pleasant while quite modest. Staff asked how your eggs would like to be cooked which was nice although is potentially a measure to control how many eggs can be consumed.
Although we requested the balcony room viewing the lake as depicted in the images, we received one with no balcony at the end of the building. This room seemed to be one adjoining another room. While the location is scenic looking over Lucerne on Sonnenberg hill it is rather inconvenient to get to and from. The hotel provides no shuttle and the funicular is closed during winter. We had to uber multiple times during our stay in which case it would have been better to stay in a more central area.

Mir persönlich war die Matratze zu hart und es war sehr hellhörig. Ich bin da aber auch sehr empfindlich.

Que no tuviera ascensor. Nos tocó una habitación en el segundo piso. Igual ya sabíamos que no tenía ascensor por los comentarios de otros pasajeros. Tampoco pudimos usar la tele y no podíamos consultar porque volvimos de la excursión cuando el personal del hotel ya se había retirado

Al entrar a la habitación olía a cañería. Como si las tuberías del baño estuvieran taponadas, creemos que era del jazucci, tuvimos que abrir ventanas y echar sales de olor para que oliese bien toda la habitación.. por qué no se podía estar en ella. Por lo demás todo bien, pero tenéis que arreglar eso. A y también el pasillo olía super fuerte del restaurante.. sube el olor o algo y olía muy muy mal.. las de la limpieza se dejaron el carrito en el pasillo y hacia una peste muy considerable.
