Reviewed Sep 16, 2026I really loved their welcoming gesture and the willingness to help. The breakfast was compact. They even had coffees on the house throughout the day. It was easy to find the location from the busstop. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned throughout. They had a very nice and cozy garden.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The Bed and Breakfast was fantastic! Our bed was comfortable, even though the bathrooms are shared there are numerous to use. It was super clean, there are outside spaces to sit and eat or read. The location is great, breakfast was terrific, and they sell wine, beer, snacks at all times.
There’s no AC, which was fine because there are ceiling fans and windows to open. But our ceiling fan made a lot of noise when on high because it seems to be loose where it connects to the ceiling?

So top alles ist, für ein Zimmer mit WC und Dusche auf dem Gang ist das Bed & Breakfast nicht günstig.

w pokoju nie ma czajnika; podłoga na korytarzu oraz schody bardzo skrzypią - niby to urok takich domów, ale wyprawy do łazienki generują hałas, jeśli ktoś ma lekki sen to niech o tym pamięta, bo na piętrze jest sporo pokoi, sporo gości = dużo skrzypienia

Fiz a reserva do sótão porque eles informaram que tinha ar condicionado e que era bem refrigerado, mas pensa em um lugar quente e que ele não recomendam abrir as janelas, porque “piora”, pedimos suporte porque o ar deles não estava gelando e eles olharam e disseram que precisava de uma manutenção, só enrolaram e não arrumaram, a nossa sorte é que choveu, daí dava para suportar, mas é sufocante de tão quente .. o café da manhã é bacana, mas sem muita opção, tem muitas e muitas escadas para subir, não tem elevador, isso dificultou pq estávamos com mala de 23kg, e as escadas rangem muito, impossível tu ir no banheiro e teu parceiro não acordar, não voltaria a reservar, achei pouco caso na solução do ar condicionado.

Das Frühstück war nicht riesig, aber in dem sehr gemütlichen Frühstücksraum waren sehr viele liebevoll zusammengestellte Köstlichkeiten angerichtet, das Obst war besonders frisch und lecker.
Leider war es eine der heißesten Nächte in diesem Jahr, sodass auch zwei Ventilatoren und das offene Fenster wenig Kühlung bringen konnten

Il faisait très chaud dans le chambre située sous le toit et à 4 personnes malgré les 4 ventilateurs, il était difficile de dormir, une climatisation serait à envisager.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The room and shared bathrooms were very clean. There are several bathroom so there was never an issue with having to wait. The breakfast was nice, not a large offering but I would say sufficient. Quite area with a little street noise with people walking by but not a big deal.
Listen, we knew there was No AC in advance. What we didn't know was it was going to be above 90 both days during our visit. I won't lie here it was pretty tough dealing with the heat. We in the US are used to having AC so hanging around the room say for afternoon nap which I like to do wasn't possible. It was just way too hot. That wasn't these folks' fault but if considering a stay here during the summer it is something to consider. In the fall or spring I bet it would be fantastic place to stay. We loved Lucerne. In fact it was possibly our favorite place we visited over our two weeks in Europe. So, would I stay here again? In hot weather, maybe not, otherwise YES I would. If not for this issue I would have rated it much higher.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Great location - easy bus access into central area. Gorgeous old building and presented beautifully. Very comfy beds and pillows. Was worried bout shared bathrooms but there were so many bathrooms to choose from there was no issues and they were all very clean. Loved the chairs and tables set up in the garden - we used them each night we stayed.
We happened to visit in summer when it was hot and there is no air con. We did have a large ceiling fan and also were provided with smaller fans to place in the room so it was comfortable but still a little warm.

Mye støy fra viftene, men dette er nok fordi vi ikke er vant til det. Vi skulle se VM kamp , de hadde ikke Tv tilgjengelig for vårt rom, men vi så det var en TV i en etasje høyere opp. Kanskje litt misvisende.

Il faisait très chaud dans notre chambre car le store était brisé, nous dormions à 33 degrés avec ventilateur qui nous a beaucoup aidé. La dame de l’accueil nous a changé de chambre pour la 2e nuit, très très bien.

The shower was a little small, but it worked well and everything was clean. The staff at the reception were very kind and welcoming. The location is also convenient, with about a 10-minute walk to the historic center, which we found easy and pleasant. The breakfast was good, with a reasonable selection to start the day. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a good choice for visiting Lucerne.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, ist aber mit verschiedenen Buslinien gut zu erreichen und außerdem sind es nur 15 Gehminuten zum Bahnhof.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026This is a nice bed & breakfast style accommodation located a bus ride away from the city centre and main railway station. The accommodation was comfortable with us being provided with a spacious room on the top floor of the accommodation.
We found that there was a reasonable amount of noise generated at night with other guests moving around to return to their rooms and using bathrooms. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation if you are a light sleeper. We found that breakfast could have been better organised as all guests arrived at a similar time making the dining room very congested and difficult to manage. We felt that asking guests for a breakfast time would have been of benefit to remove this congestion.
