The listing pictures were misleading, showing what looked like a proper private shower and toilet in the room, but there was actually only one shared toilet per floor. The shower facilities were dirty, and no basic toiletries like shampoo or soap were provided—only a blanket and a towel. Additionally, while parking was advertised on Booking.com, we were unexpectedly charged extra for it. Overall, the room was poor quality and disappointing.

Bathroom had wet pungent smell. Everything around you is noisy. You can literally hear when somebody is walking to the bathroom outside your room, or locking the door sound during night time. Poor spring bed that every sleeping position you change during the sleep, makes the noise. We had disturbed sleep in 2 nights.

Nos tocó un Tercer piso por escalera; tuve que llevar todas mis valijas más las sábanas y toallas porque la cama no está hecha. Hay un solo baño en el tercer piso y luego el siguiente baño es en el primer piso. La ducha se inunda.

Payer encore 10CHF pour une place de parking… Propreté de la salle de bain limite Lit inconfortable +++ obligée de mettre la couette en dessous de moi pour rajouter de l’épaisseur au matelas inexistant. J’ai passé ma nuit sur le quadrillage métallique qui sert de sommier. Si vous êtes un peu fort passez votre chemin ou vous allez avoir un mal de dos pas possible

Die Matratze. Für eine Nacht war es okay, aber vielleicht sollte man da mal investieren.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Great location, slightly further from central train station and tourist places. No worries, free Luzern visitor card is given in advance for free public transportation. Clean bedsheets, housekeeping is provided every day for bathroom. Free toiletries (not many hostels offer that), free locker room to store luggage after checking out (2 Fr coin is required to use the lock).
Please install mosquito nets. On my second evening we had huge bugs jumping inside the room. And kitchen could be cleaned more, fridge is quite dirty, but fault lies with the tenants.

Dependiendo de los usuarios en ocasiones el baño estaba un poco sucio, pero normalmente estaba en buen estado. Echamos de menos alguna percha o lugar para colgar toallas o la ropa en nuestra habitación

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Dobra lokalizacja, parking 10 F za dobę. Hostel wysyła kod uprawniajacy do darmowych przejazdów autobusem. Przystanek przy hostelu. Nie jest to luksusowy hoste,l raczej skromny ale ma dużo udogodnień.
Jedyny minus, to że hostel jest przy ruchliwej ulicy, hałas nie pozwalał spać, brak klimatyzacji tylko mały wiatraczek, w upalny dzień masakra.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and guests had access to a well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils and appliances. A private parking area was also available, which was very convenient.
The location was not very convenient. Unfortunately, we had a room on the third floor, and it was very stuffy. When we opened the window, there was a lot of noise from the road, passing cars and people walking outside, as the hotel is located directly next to a busy road. There was a fan in the room, but it clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. There were visible clumps of dust on it, which spread around the room when the fan was turned on. The furniture was in acceptable condition, but it was quite old and outdated. The blanket, mattress and pillow also looked heavily used and seemed to be quite old. The room itself was small, and the shower room was separate from the bedroom. Unfortunately, even the ventilation in the shower room did not work. Overall, the room was not very comfortable, especially because of the poor ventilation and the noise from outside.

The room was hot, but we were there in a local heatwave. Fans were provided. Bedside lights could be improved.

Es gibt in der Lobby kaum Steckdosen, hab nur 1 in der Lobby gefunden bei den essenstischen, und im gemeinschaftsraum gibts eine auf der anderen seite des sofas, der checkin ist nicht den ganzen Tag möglich, als ich gekommen bin musste ich knapp 1H warten und konnte mein handy nur im gemeinschaftsraum laden, jedoch so unbequem dass ich es nicht wirklich benutzten konnte da eben steckdose auf dem boden komplett von der couch weg, die Sofas fühlen sich etwas klebrig an, und in meinem zimmer sah es sehr stark nach schimmel aus, und im Zimmer konnte man das Fenster nicht richtig öffnen da das Bett im weg steht, war dann dauerhaft halb offen.

I would have been nice to have curtains for bunk beds. No privacy at all in the dorms without curtains. Also, the charging sockets were weird. I had carried the adapter that I used in Europe, but that didn't work there. I got a response that it was different in Switzerland, which was strange. And had to give 10 Euro as deposit to get an adapter.
