Este lugar es maravilloso, te proporcionan todo lo que necesitas, se siente paz y tranquilidad en el lugar. Te indican que transportes tomar para poder llegar, sin duda alguna me volvería a quedar ahí, te hacen sentir muy cómoda. La vista que tiene es espectacular!

Das Haus ist sehr modern und wunderschön eingerichtet, besonders die großen Fensterfronten mit dem tollen Ausblick sind einfach traumhaft. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten, sind superlieb, offen und total lustig. Vor allem Ray ist ein sehr sympathischer, lockerer Typ ,wir haben viel gelacht und mich sofort wohlgefühlt. 😊 Man fühlt sich dort wirklich willkommen und wie zu Hause. Besonders praktisch ist auch, dass man ein Ticket für den kostenlosen Busverkehr bekommt und dadurch sehr flexibel unterwegs sein kann. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen! ❤️ Also Ray ✌️?! Bis bald 😂Flo !….🫶

The only things I liked about my stay were the beautiful view from the living room and the convenient location, with easy access to the city.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below an acceptable standard. The area around my room, bathrooms, and hallways had a very strong and unpleasant smell. The sinks were often clogged, the floors looked dirty, and it was clear that these areas were not being thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. The staff were okay and friendly enough, but they didn’t seem particularly efficient or proactive. From what I observed, most of their attention seemed to be on basic tasks such as welcoming guests and providing information, rather than actively maintaining and cleaning the property. I believe many of them were volunteers, which may explain the more relaxed approach, but even a backpacker hostel should maintain proper standards of cleanliness, organization, and responsibility for its guests. The biggest issue was definitely hygiene. Showering while dealing with unpleasant odors in the bathrooms and hallways was extremely uncomfortable. Better ventilation and, most importantly, much more serious attention to daily deep cleaning are really needed.

Really enjoyed my stay, especially considering how expensive Luzern can be. The house was comfortable, the views were amazing, and the free public transport QR ticket was a great bonus with good connections to the city. I also visited Bürgenstock Spa, city and Pilatus, and the location worked very well. The host was friendly and communication was excellent. The only small downside was some noise from other guests at night.

Excelente ambiente, todas las personas son muy agradables. La casa es super bella, una vista espectacular y tiene la parada de buses a unos cuantos pasos!

Había malestar de parte del personal, por otras situaciones de otros huéspedes.. y sentí que eso me tocó de rebote. Recibiendo exigencias exageradas para el tipo de huésped que soy.

Actually everything. The view from the living room and the room in itself was mesmerising. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Lots of fans which helped with the heat also. The staff was super nice.

A casa por si só já é um charme, os quartos são confortáveis e os banheiros limpos! A sala de convivência é muito agradável e o local é aconchegante e bem equipado. Com certeza voltaria!

Amazing view from the hostel, good facilities, clean bathrooms, very friendly staff and great atmosphere in the hostel. Enjoyed a lot my stay!

Just keep in mind that the hostel is located a bit outside the city centre, in a hilly area. There are several buses that go there from the railway station. One of them (I think number 11) drops you off very close to the hostel - about a 3-minute walk. With the others, you'll have a 10-15 minute walk, which matters if you're carrying heavy bags. It's not a downside, just something to be aware of.

Truly a wonderful hostel, which feels more at home and personal than classical chain-hostel visits. I was especially impressed by how accommodating the hosts were: They will gladly help and be flexible for you if you need it. The view and location is also great, close to a frequent bus stop and a great view of both the city of Luzern and the nearby mountain landscape. I walked from the doorstep of the hostel to the top of Pilatus, the nearby towering mountain, and found three fellow guests the night before to join me. It really helped my experience. In addition, the neighbourhood is clean, safe, and currently has lots of beautiful flowers in bloom. The hostel offers modern technological solutions for self check-in, has great free wifi, and the hostel itsself is very clean and has a nice, luxurious feel, simultaneously creating a social atmosphere for guests to get to know each other and talk. I highly reccommend the hostel, and that you read the information you are sent upon booking to get the full picture of all the commodities you are being offered. 10/10 would stay again!

10 stats well earned! The majestic view, Ray's effort for guests to have a great stay, and the detailed "wiki" with recommendations and important info make this a great choice for Luzern. Really clean rooms with space (not bunk beds) and 3 available bathrooms in the house. The place is on a hill so it's quiet for a good rest and has a good sunset spot a few minutes away. Convenient bus stop 5 minutes away. Food and drinks available at a surcharge, very convenient if you forgot to pass by the supermarket. It even has sauna and jacuzzi!

A home vibe you cannot really find anywhere else. A wonderful terrace with an amazing view, also it was one of the cleanest hostels I've ever been. Bonus congrats to the hostess for her lovely assistance. 10/10

❌ Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel is much farther from Lucerne city center than I expected, and reaching it requires a long uphill walk, which can be quite exhausting, especially with luggage. Considering its remote location, I found the price to be far too expensive. The photos make the hotel look much better than it actually feels. Another major disappointment was that guests were not allowed to use the balcony after 10:00 PM. This rule was not mentioned on Booking.com, and I believe it should be clearly stated before booking. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who want easy access to the city or expect good value for the price.

Great hostel with amazing view. Easy to socialise, I travelled alone and there were always people ready for hikes, swims or for a night in town. Hosts were very helpful.

View from the house, possibility to use kitchen stuff, can order laundry

The location is quite far from the nearest bus stop, especially if you are traveling with luggage. Please note that the bus to the closest stop only runs until around 7:00–7:30 PM. There are no shops nearby, although the host offers a delivery service for food and other items. The quiet-hours policy is enforced very strictly. You are not even allowed to have a normal conversation outside after 10 PM. There is a noise-monitoring device in the house that announces when noise levels exceed a certain limit in a rather rude manner. It even reacted when I was simply placing my phone on the charger. Throughout the house there are signs saying “Don’t use,” “Don’t touch,” “Don’t talk,” “Don’t walk,” and similar messages. This kind of passive-aggressive atmosphere detracts from what is otherwise a beautiful place. I was assigned a bed under the roof and had to crawl to get into it. There was also no space nearby to store a suitcase. What I disliked most was the assistant, who took a chair away from me on the balcony while addressing me with “Hey girl.” I found this very disrespectful and unprofessional. Also you had to get guest card, but no one gave me that. So I had to pay for transport

What an incredible hostel! We've been all through Europe staying in lots of hostels and unfortunately there is a huge lack of hostel culture, it's felt quite lonely so this place was highly welcomed!!! Everyone was chatty and talkative, kitchen and communal areas were extremely welcoming and fun! Bathroom was clean and shower was hot and great pressure, room was extremely clean also!! 10000/10 best hostel in Europe!

The view, the family feel, Beautifull house and view! Staff are very friendly, helpful and around. I enjoyed it so much, extended an additional night!

I missed some of the directions and had to climb a lot of steps. Not the hostal’s fault!!

The Young Backpackers Hotel in Lucerne is a true oasis of peace with a magnificent view. Everything is ultra modern, extremely clean, and incredibly pleasant. I really appreciated the discipline and the perfect organization, alongside a warm and personalized welcome. The sauna is a fantastic bonus and the atmosphere is wonderful for making great connections. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

O lugar é incrivelmente lindo e a vibe da casa estava muito boa!! As meninas que estavam disponíveis para ajudar realmente foram muito queridas e o anfitrião também bem gentil. Foi um super achado e, por menos de 50CHF a noite, foi um bom negócio

A qualidade da roupa de cama, da cama em si e das toalhas é bem precária, creio que pelo volume de hóspedes que a casa recebe, seria bom investir um pouco mais na qualidade dos amenities

Beautiful property, stunning views and very modern. In a very safe and quiet neighbourhood. The dorms are very spacious and clean. All information required is provided to you prior to checking in and staff are very helpful and friendly. This has been my most comfortable and favourite accommodation since being in Europe and would highly recommend.

Общий туалет и ванная, утром ожидание почти час. “Балкон” оказался общей террасой с людьми. Полотенца старые и серые. Парковка платная на улице. Совсем не соответствует ожиданиям от отеля.
