Tiki Shores Inn & Suites

I booked a room with a kitchenette and it was great to have the extra space to store our bicycles we brought. The bed and sheets were comfortable and felt super clean

When you first walk in it smells a little musty / old. Which I get that it is so that’s ok but maybe a small air freshener or the windows cracked

It was close to the beach which was awesome and the suites have decent kitchens.

The reception staff is ridiculously hard to get a hold of. Either they arent on site. Or they simply dont answer the phone.

Room was so dirty. Had to asked them to clean the floors again upon check in and so much dirt and garbage was collected. Even after mopping the floor was so dirty Nothing is cleaned properly.

Tiki Shores is in a prime location, right across from the beach on the main drag. We loved our stay so much that we booked another stay for next summer when we checked out. We had a one bedroom suite, it’s your typical older motel room but it was clean and a bonus was that there was no carpet! We were really only in our room to sleep, we were outside the rest of the time. Sharon at the front desk was absolutely amazing!

There was no housekeeping and the office closes early. So getting fresh towels or toilet paper was tricky.

We travelled to Penticton for a wedding and chose Tiki Shores based on the location. A number of our family members stayed there and we were so pleased with the variety of room arrangements! It’s very family friendly, but the rooms are incredibly quiet. The pool is a wonderful option when the lake is windy and Sharon was a great host! Can’t wait to return again!

The location is excellent.

Staff was excellent, very accommodating. Bed was enormous and so comfortable, both of these things made me not want to complain.

I was very upset when I saw our room didn't have all our blinds, so you could clearly see into our room with no privacy. We also found many spiders and wished it was cleaner. Also lots of yelling throughout the night, could hear everything through those walls. We we're rarely in our room and only there for 2 nights so I will admit we didn't complain to staff but if I were staying any longer I would have asked to move rooms.

Location. was perfect as we were attending a medieval Renaissance faire nearby.Room was large very clean.Walkablebti beach and eateries.

The location is opposite the beach, the view was great. Close to restaurants , also the parking is great for a large vehicle. The pool was great and well maintained. Staff was also great!

Staff were great! Friendly and were always there when I needed anything! The room was a nice size just a bit dated and the couch was dirty. Location was fabulous, it was easy for driving to my business appointments and the pool was clean and relaxing!

Front desk staff provided excellent service. Having three separate bedrooms in our suite worked for our group. Nice to have a pool!

Having one more bathroom would have been great.

My partner and I wanted an easy get away for our anniversary and this was perfect! We didn’t travel far as we didn’t have much time but we had a perfect relaxing getaway in the lovely honeymoon suite! That bathtub is amazing!

We were really impressed at how clean our room was. It was older but has been painted and cleaned to perfection. We upgraded to 2 bedroom just because we were off season and wanted to see what the rooms were like. So much room! 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms not to mention a great patio. An overkill for just my husband and I , but it was nice to have the extra room. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

The location is absolutely perfect right on the lake. The rooms are very very large. The service was great. I want to recommend new blinds as they did not give us adequate privacy.

A great spot to stay when in Pentiction. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Right on the lake and walking distance to many key places. Kitchenette and patio with bbq made it perfect for relaxed morning's. Awesome food at on-site restaurant Cambo Beach. Will be back.

Great location. Retro. Clean enough. Property should have stated upfront that if you take weekly rate-no daily housekeeping. Supplies readily available though. Nice full kitchen…again retro. Highlights: private deck your own high end natural gas grille and french balcony off of the bedroom. Walking distance to quality butcher, baker, green grocer and wine store. Across from beach and a stroll away from multiple restaurants/bars.

I stayed at this property last year and wasn’t that thrilled but I went back again this year and what a difference. They actually cared that I was staying there, with welcome text messages and a knock on the door the next day asking if I need any supplies for the room. I thought that was great. The front desk lady , Teagan, was so nice. The location of the property is fantastic. My stay was really nice.

The room we had came with a two person Jacuzzi tub which was the highlight. Also had the means to cook food. It was close to the beach and walking distance to where we had a concert to go to. The check in was easy and our room was ready before the usual check in time which was wonderful. For an older establishment, it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was certainly cost efficient. Friendly staff as well.

The door lock was finicky and beeped a ton waking my wife when I went to get her coffees and the blind was broken but we made it work for privacy. All in all clean and very friendly. Great location. Found a dog running loose and offered me blankets and treats for it. Would definitely go back.

Great value for the honeymoon suite. We utilized the jacuzzi every day. The service was amazing. They're all so friendly and helpful!

Classic old beachfront hotel!

Unfortunately we were unable to stay due to a family emergency, having said that, the amazing staff went above and beyond to try to accommodate us. Matthew was a rockstar!

Good price and great location. Steps from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all meals and it was quiet on the property. Our second time there over Christmas and will go back again.

Location was great and the rooms were clean and beds comfy, wonderful balcony attached to the room. Kitchenette was stocked well. A bit of trouble contacting front desk but worked around it.

Booked on booking.com, instructions did not include office was open 4-6!!!!!! As we arrived at 7:30 there was nobody to check us into our room, and we were forced to make late emergency alternative arrangements as there was no contact number and did not respond to email. Since then they have been dragging their feet about refunding, to the point I feel it is necessary to file a criminal fraud complaint with police, FCIC, Better Business Bureau, and contest the charge on Mastercard as fraud. Clearly, customer service is not a priority!

Check in and check out very easy and convenient Location and surroundings absolutely glorious And that’s pretty much it for the good… The room… 20 years ago would’ve been considered grossly outdated… while the beds in the two bedrooms were ok to sleep in, the pullout sofa had about a foot drop in the middle, by far the worst we’ve seen and impossible to get comfortable The lights were also very sad.. first impression when enter the room late evening sends you back in the post war era … the bathrooms ( we had a 2 beds 1.5 baths room) weren’t light enough for me to shave because of the same sad and outta place light bulb… And while the cleanness could be subjective, if you feel gross to take your shoes off and touch anything in the room you know something’s wrong. All in all, this is a degraded place running at the bare minimum only to milk as much as possible the tourists trying to enjoy the beauty of the Okanagan lake. My opinion.

The place is nice. Beachfront with lots of people on the street. Very nice vibe. The unit has some deferred maintenance but was clean and an excellent value for the cost. I would return.

Dont know about pets , parking was good .

We booked this motel based on the positive reviews, unfortunately we did not have the same good experience. The room assigned to us had several vertical blinds that were broken off and anyone walking by could see into our room. Also, the garbage and recycling bins (and overflow bags of garbage) were stored in front of our window. We could not open the window due to the smell. Finally, the TV did not work properly. To some extent, you get what you pay for and the Tiki Shores pricing was on the low end. However, the standards were considerably lower that one would expect in such a tourist town as Penticton.

Property was in great location. We had a great patio with bbq that accommodated 6 people. The units were clean but need an upgrade. Small inefficient fridge and very limited dishes, etc. The locking mechanism on our door was very difficult to lock.

Staff was friendly … mattress needs to be replaced .. black mold in bathroom .. our feet turned black walking on the floor!

Great spot easy to get around from here. Stayed with a young child, close to the park and restaurants with kid options. Kitchen in suit was a great addition to our stay. We will book here again!

The room was clean enough but the floors were dirty. I spilled a bit of water and used the hand towel to wipe it up. (There were no paper towels)and the towel was almost black. Had to wear socks. Maybe I should have told the front desk. Anyway, I would stay there again as it was an excellent location. Most the motels on the strip looked old.

This is a 2 star hotel. Room has a kitchenette with refrigerator, micro, coffee maker, and a hot plate to plug in. Very nice area, next to Okanagan Lake, dining near, grocery store 15 min walk. Bathroom ok but mold in bathtub, pool at the hotel. Small TV only one night stand.

Lovely staff. Emma went out of her way to make sure we got checked in and even informed us that our room was ready early. Very happy with that!

The rooms that have a patio attatched are a great feature. The young lady checking us in was very friendly. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Bathroom was cramped the way the door opens but that was just a meaningless inconvenience.

The only good thing I liked was the location.

The place needed renovations. Also had an incident of water damage twice with no resolution from the office. Also the garbage situation at the property was not good. Parking was an issue and had to be back early or you would not get a spot. Could not go out in evening.

Sadly run down, grateful I had my own blanket to cover the stained couch otherwise I would have sat on the floor. Cost was outrageous. Worst motel/hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.

The cleanliness of our unit was terrible. The bathroom door would not shut, the towel rack kept falling off the wall and the dead flies and bugs along with cobwebs that were in the window casings inside if the unit, were terrible. I spoke to the front desk and they did have maintenance come to repair the towel rack and make adjustments on the bathroom door so that would at least close. However, housekeeping did not come and clean up the windowsills in side of the unit. The sand and dead bugs in the runner of the patio doors going out to our deck was unbelievable. Emma, the staff at the front desk was very helpful and very apologetic for the condition of the unit. She did tell me she would pass on my concerns to the owner however, I have yet to hear from him and that was approximately two days ago. I would definitely not stay there again. To spend close to $800 for three nights of stay, with the unit in that condition was not acceptable.

Great location. Helpful staff. Great Thai food at their restaurant. Older place for sure could use a scrubbing on baseboards in bathroom and fix main window blind as one slat missing and limits privacy. I do recommend this place though it’s decent

A disappointing stay. The couch, hide a bed was filthy. The flooring was in tough shape and the bathroom shower tiles were dirty. Parking was near impossible.
