Unfriendly day time staff. Very bitter and unwelcoming. Problems were resolved but with very poor attitude. I was left with the feeling that I was to blame for the door locks and the elevator not working?

Being moved to room 406, which had a comfortable bed, a working heater, working lights and a toilet that flushed properly. It had also been partly renovated and looked clean and fresh. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful

Initially we were in room 212. Whilst it was actually clean, it looked old and grimy and was very worn, it was cold, the heater didn't work, the bed was hard, the pillows were like rocks, the wall lights didn't work and the toilet didn't flush properly

The door handle to bathroom was broken. The bathroom was filthy with orange spots and hair (pubic?) stuck to the ceiling. The window was broken and almost impossible to see through. The shower head sprayed everywhere. All this for $181.

The room was large and the staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was good and the staff arranged to open it early as several guests were leaving very early. Lots of parking available and in walking distance to things like a grocery store and several restaurants.

While it was a good location, it was not in the cute part of downtown. I was a little concerned about leaving my packed car overnight but we had no issues. The room was extremely hot but a fan was provided. The hotel was older and could use some updating.

The location is good to anything you want to do in Prince Rupert

Lots of room had no air conditioning and were extremely hot. Even though they have a no smoking of cigarettes or weed or marijuana, it smelled of all. No.

The traffic noise. There is no AC and the room is hot so we are forced to open the window which is facing a busy street.

An older hotel but clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Large supermarket close by. 5min taxi ride from station.

People who hung out in the back garage area, and the grouch manager in the morning. The person at check in was nice and good, we arrived after 1am due to coming in on the ferry. We had a dog the online info about the place states dog friendly. The person at check in said 2 dog rooms had leaks so we were put in a different room and I had to come down in the morning and pay the pet fee. The manager was a grouch because of the room we were put in. The place is old, there was a male or 2 that hung out in the back smoking pot so I question security there. The room seemed clean although there was a soap wrapper on the sink in the bathroom. We had breakfast at the restaurant on the premises which was ok. Nothing offered complimentary for breakfast. I would not stay there again.

Cleaning staff knocks on door kind of early, 8 or 9, check out time is 11 am...the room is way too hot you need air conditioning.

The location was perfect, close to downtown and the ferry. The breakfast met all my needs and had more than expected! I also enjoyed the large windows in the rooms!

The room was nice and clean, and the fans in room were a nice touch.

The elevator was kinda scary but I think it just made the experience unique :)

There was a continental breakfast and lots of coffee to start the day. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. A good value for your money.

Liked one of the two beds. Was comfortable.

Didn't like the other bed, was hard. Every stay there, we always got the alley view, the front of the hotel is ocean view. Next time, i will request an ocean view. The lady never asked which we preferred if an ocean view was available.

Even though there was a lot of grain options (cereal, bread, waffles) for the continental breakfast, the only other thing to eat pretty much was yogourt. Some fruit , eggs, etc. would have been a nice addition.

It smells like pot, very very sorry , bed were to big for the box and so it hung over each side. Way too soft and things falling apart. Never will we stay there again. I would like my money back that’s how bad it was

Continental breakfast was included and was good. Beds seemed new and were quite comfortable.

What could have been better? Almost everything. Window was cracked, room was dirty, bathroom light worked - sometimes, toilet ran without stopping. It served the purpose but the building was laughably bad. At least clean the rooms more carefully...

The breakfast was the best continental ever with everything including waffle makers!

When filling the bathtub there was a large glop of gunk came out of the tap. Signs in the hotel indicated that there had been an issue with the water system previously.

Tired decor, mouldy windows. No bottled water provided, even though there were notices everywhere advising that water was not fit to drink. Spectacularly rude woman on daytime reception.

Arrived as a foot passenger by ferry from Port Hardy after midnight on 30 Sep waiting for train to Prince George on 1 Oct - 2 nights Hotel was good for my needs.

Cute decor. Windows were fogged and dirty. Boil water advisory. Elevator was sketchy (jerky). Beds were comfortable. Ok place if you are catching the ferry.

Prince Rupert is, at the moment, in a depression, which makes the surrounding area less than attractive. The only complaint about the room (and this is common to most motels) is that, for those customers who tend to read at night, there is not appropriate light - so that a reading couple are almost compelled to use two beds, in order to have adequate light. Also, bed-side tables or shelves are needed on both sides to have room to put down glasses, books, and/or knitting.

We loved the nautical theme of the place both inside and out. Our room was great and the breakfast room was one of the best we've seen. It was easy to find the hotel when we left the ferry.

Room was clean but the windows leaked. Told the front desk, he said, and I quote, “the windows in this place are crap”. The remote controls (yes there were 2) were temperamental. I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

I did like the location it was easy to find, there was parking for SUVs and cars some covered parking too The first reception lady was tentative and polite and greeted us , plus when cards didn't work she was at counter later in the day the second guy with the pup was not, I couldn't find him any anywhere for a few minutes so I called the reception and he finally came out to counter, and just looked at the phone and then saw me, stared and said can I help you? As if I shouldn't be there lol it was later, 9 30 pm but they don't lock doors til 10pm and our door cards were not working again even though we both made sure not to put it near anything to demagnetize them it happened day before as well, the beds were made and comfortable enough and the showers were hot after a long day on the water so that was nice 👍 once you get into your room 😂👌

Great front desk service, good breakfast set up with multiple options. Room well equipped and pleasant for the price. Unfortunately when entering there was a smell of damp dog and cleaning product. The carpet had obviously ben recently cleaned and was still wet. Could not walk in bare or stocking feet.

The property is VERY dated, no hairdryer and no fan in the bathroom. (So much steam after showering!) Breakfast room open early but there was no waffle mix for the waffle makers!

I slept very well and the location was very convenient.

Extremely unwelcoming women on the desk on arrival at 5pm. Later asking if water was available in the hotel (as there was a boil water notice in place in town), she tapped loudly on the notice on the wall, said something under her breath and walked off. Left shocked at the reaction, she then gave me 2 bottles of water and shut the door. A disappointing start to the stay. In contrast the lady in the morning was lovely.
