Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Una habitacion amplia, baño correcto, y te dejan por cortesia un cafe y te por si quieres hacertelo por la mañana. Pudimos aparcar delante de la puerta pero solo cogen 4 coches y hay 5 habitaciones aproximadamente por lo que no te lo aseguran. El anfitrion nos aconsejo dos lugares para poder cenar cerca.
No tenia desayuno. La zona parece muy turística en verano con casinos y bingos. Sin embargo, en septiembre no había mucho alboroto. La cama mejorable, se notaban los muelles al tumbarte.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hat uns bei der Anreise gute Tipps für Restaurants und Ausgehmöglichkeiten gegeben. Bei der Gelegenheit konnten wir direkt auch nach einer zweiten, einzelnen statt einer großen Bettdecke fragen (das scheint in Irland ungewöhnlich zu sein 😀). Das Zimmer selbst war wirklich sehr geräumig und sauber. Der Strand war fußläufig in weniger als 5 Minuten zu erreichen und entlang der Promenade gab es zahlreiche Cafés, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Der Kühlschrank hätte etwas leiser sein können.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Loved the hosts, the location, and the space! Felt like home away from home, and the hosts were so helpful and kind. It was about a 20 min walk to city centre and about a 40 min walk to the coach buses (401 bus takes you to both locations super fast)
Would be nice to have a fridge etc for leftovers/drinks.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026The room was lovely and big and quiet and relaxing, little fridge for some snacks and the shower was divine, cleaning lady was absolutely lovely. And the location is top, literally 5 min walk from an amazing beach and shops and cinema and just everything, salthill was a delight, on a sunny day its heaven.
Everything was great my one note is the wifi is a little spotty in the edges of the room like by the tv, whole place could use some wifi extenders just to give full bars everywhere in the property

Die Dusche in Zimmer 2 hatte so gut wie keinen Druck. Evtl. nur temporäres Problem, wir haben es nicht erfragt.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Reinigung war jeden Tag top. Die Lage war auch sehr gut.
Es hat gestunken und die Betten waren unangenehm. Es waren Flecken auf dem Bett und es war ingesamt sehr durchgelegen. Die Dusche hat am ersten Tag nicht funktioniert wurde aber repariert. Fotos haben nicht den Zimmern entsprochen!

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Een perfecte plek om Galway te ontdekken, en recht tegenover een hele leuke Ierse pub. We hebben een prachtige dag gehad in connemara. Een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die ons binnenlieten en uitlegde waar we restaurantjes en een goede Ierse kroeg konden vinden.
Het was een vrij kleine kamer en een bed met een doorgezakt matras.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Die Lage war absolut top und es gibt viele Restaurants und Cafés direkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen (inklusive Tipps für die Umgebung) und der Check-in, sowie der Check-out am nächsten Tag haben super funktioniert.
Es gab absolut keine Kritikpunkte :)

Das WLAN funktionierte über den gesamten Aufenthalt nicht, damit auch der Fernseher nicht. Am letzten Tag konnte nicht mehr warm geduscht werden und wir haben eiskalt geduscht, da kein warmes Wasser mehr da war. Ich finde den sehr hohen Preis damit nicht gerechtfertigt.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist neu eingerichtet, sehr sauber hatte sogar einen Kühlschrank und einen Kaffeeautomaten von Nestle. Lage ist ideal. Um die Ecke gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.
Da die Unterkunft an einer gut befahrenen Straße liegt, war es fast zu laut um über Nacht die Fenster unseres Zimmer zu offen. Leider konnten wir keine Kaffeekapseln im Supermarkt kaufen. Da es spezielle Kapseln sind.

The property, as accommodation in a huge tourist destination like Galway, is very basic. We paid €180 for a so called double room which was very small with a fairly uncomfortable bed. Check in was far from encouraging. Galway looks like it’s intent on fleecing the tourists who sustain its summer economy by its overpriced and underwhelming accommodation offers.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Super freundliches Personal, Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Es gibt ein Frühstückszimmer in welchem man Frühstück bestellen kann. Es hat eine kleine sehr gemütliche Bar mit einer sehr guten Getränkeauswahl. Eine kleine wunderschöne Terrasse direkt am Wasser. Wir bereuen es nur eine Nacht dort gebucht zu haben, wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Alles war sehr sauber, sehr gemütlich. Zimmer liegt in Salthill, nahe dem Wasser und schönem Strand. Es fahren regelmässig Busse ins City Center von Galway. Empfang war unfassbar freundlich, auch die Putzdame war sehr freundlich. Würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen. Nachts erstaunlicherweise ruhig obwohl es tagsüber hellhörig ist.

El alojamiento está situado junto a una carretera principal, por lo que el check-in puede resultar algo más complicado si se llega en coche y no hay aparcamiento disponible en las inmediaciones. Aun así, ¡la ubicación es muy buena!

Place was simple but very clean and quiet even off the main thorough. Surprise was the espresso coffee maker in the room. No food services, just lodging.

Ce quartier de Salthill se trouve assez loin du centre et il faut prendre le bus pour s'y rendre. L'arrêt est tout près.
