EVERYTHING!! It was beautiful as soon as you walk into the lobby…. The rooms were big and spacious and clean. The staff were so kind and helpful. The VIEWS!! If was incredible

The staff and the tables were really nice. The chef was not always at his station when you wanted something cooking. The room was very nice but the floor was slightly dirty as if tiles not cleaned thoroughly.

The bar and restaurant was very expensive and the turndown service was too early. It should be around 9pm not 8pm.

Breakfast was good, Room was very nice, the entire hotel was spotless, loved the common areas (dining area, lobby, roof deck & pool !!!)

Прекрасный отель в самом центре Сорренто с видом на море. Мы путешествовали на машине и для нас была важна парковка, особенно после маленьких улочек Амальфи и Позитано. Консьерж сразу забрал нашу машину и мы больше не думали о том, где бы ее припарковать. Отель весь в классическом стиле, радует глаз! Очень вежливый и заботливый персонал! Номера классные, в стиле Италии- с плиткой на полу. Есть руфтоп, бассейн на крыше и ресторан. Магазины, рестораны и тд- всё рядом) Хорошие завтраки. Большое спасибо хотим выразить Алине! Зеленый и уютный отель. Можно сказать, что мебель и фурнитура, как отдельное произведение искусства. Живешь, будто в Эрмитаже, одновременно в зеленом саду с лимонами) рекомендую!

The location was fantastic, close to everything, in the historic center. We liked the pool and the gym. The hotel manager did really good job solving our issue with vegan food for breakfast. Beautiful garden where we had breakfast

The staff was not prepared for vegan guests, they didn’t prepare any food for us even though we ordered in advance.

If there was one thing. It would be the food at the pool bar. We opted for a pizza and also a salad and they just were not up to scratch.

Superb hotel. Staff. Amenities everything was just wonderful. The bedrooms beautiful appointed. Only issue was above us was the rooftop pool and you hear the scraping of beds every morning being moved around. Would recommend this stunning hotel. Perfect location for staying in beautiful Sorrento.

What a magical stay we had at this magnificent property. It was in the heart of it all, we were living in pure lush and the staff were exceptional. Not to mention the most amazing breakfast buffet I’ve ever had in my life. Will definetely be coming back to this one. Don’t hesitate to book it’s simply stunning and don’t miss the famous La Favorita restaurant to top it all off. Wow !!!

If I’m going to be picky, I would say I would like to have their breakfast foods rotated each day so they’re a little different and not always the same thing every day.

We loved everything. Location, view, size, included breakfast buffet, staff, cleanliness and special handling of every detail. We also loved the pool and roof top bar with amazing views. The whole stay was wonderful and couldn't have gone better. It's location is perfect with its proximity to the beach as well as shopping and restaurants. No issues with noise or too much traffic either. The staff also did everything they could to keep our stay as pleasant and wonderful as possible.

Excellent location in old town Sorrento. The hotel is breath takingly beautiful, i.e. tile work, art, decor. The lemon grove, the roof top bar and pool, the serene beauty, the outstanding breakfast as well as food in general....BUT what really sets La Favorita apart is the staff. OMG they are awesome! The Goddess (aka wife) and I were reflecting on our tip and she said, "Let's go back to Sorrento and stay at the La Favorita". I must agree. Thank you La Favorita.

Excellent choice, charming hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was very good, excellent food. The rooftop pool is incredible with a great view. The rooms are well equipped. Very well located, with many restaurants near the sea.

The location of this hotel is just perfect. Well situated in the old town of Sorrento, it has dozens of restaurants and bars close by. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed. We were on the ground floor and it is a dark room, with no views, but there was a beautiful garden as or terrace. The gardens around the hotel are immaculate, and full of fruit trees. Breakfast is of a good standard, the staff are incredible, though it’s overly inclined towards pastries over eggs etc. There is an omelette and egg station that was lovely. The rooftop pool is small but beautiful, with views of the bay. You can use the beach club of their sister hotel — approx 1km walk but they will drop and collect you if you request it. The walk is lovely, as is the beach club, and the staff there were equally fabulous. Sorrento is a beautiful place, it’s very expensive but the standard of food and hospitality is very high. The beds are a little hard, and I would expect better tea coffee water facilities in the room. Toiletries are basic. But these are minor things: and overall it’s fabulous. Highly recommend

this was our first hotel of a 2 week tour and it was our favorite overall by far. The bedroom was spacious with hand painted tile walls with beautiful designs in the bathroom and beautiful tile on the floors. the entire hotel is decorated with exquisite works of art and the lobby is decorated with stunning seating and art work, as well. The rooftop pool gives incredible views of the bay and Mt. Vesuvius and the hamburger meal we ordered from the rooftop cafe was delicious.

Probably our most favorite hotel so the name is so apropos. Perfectly located near the Marina and the Sorento Piazza. It has the perfect Italian charm. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread is amazing.

Beautiful hotel with amazing rooftop views for sunset. Friendly and helpful staff. Only mention would be the rooms were a bit noisy, in that you can hear the people above you. Maybe we just got noisy upstairs neighbors but that would be only kind of negative but would still stay here again either way. Great location as well for getting around Sorrento and getting to the marina quickly

The staff was really helpful. Room was big, nice and super clean. Breakfast could be improved in terms of quality of the patisserie and bread.

The food at the rooftop bar is really poor. Ordered a shrimp bao that was basically bao bread with two small shrimps and tons of mayo.

We had ultimately best time at Grand Hotel La Favorita. The hotel was beautiful and extremely clean with a perfect location. The amenities in the hotel and rooms were exceptional. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. No task to great. They assisted with tour reservations, restaurant reservations & recommendations and everything in between. The pool was amazing in the Summer heat. We loved our stay and cant wait to return.

We had an amazing stay at Grand Hotel La Favorita in Sorrento! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff is warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. The restaurants were excellent, and the pool area is simply stunning. Watching the sunset from the rooftop pool deck was one of the highlights of our trip—it was truly breathtaking. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend Grand Hotel La Favorita to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Amazing hotel & staff offering phenomenal hospitality! We were greeted before we entered the hotel and the team took great care to make sure out entire stay was wonderful. The rooms are very nicely appointed, all offering lovely views!

The best View, Staff, Breakfast… my family and I didn’t want to leave 💖 definitely I will be back! Was my first time visiting Sorrento and my family and I enjoyed every minute. The location is awesome! And the hotel has transportation to the marina or port and that help a lot since we didn’t have to worry about getting a taxi or paying for the transportation.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The hotel has beautiful classic architecture with unique artistic details throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, while the bathroom was absolutely stunning, with gorgeous classic tilework and a luxurious feel. The location is unbeatable, right in the center of Sorrento. Breakfast was outstanding, with five star quality and exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional throughout our stay. As we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with beautiful bed decorations, a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, and a handwritten note, which was a lovely gesture. The rooftop pool and bar with sea views were fantastic, the cocktails were excellent, and having on site parking was a huge advantage in Sorrento. We also appreciated having access to the private beach at their sister hotel.

The WiFi signal in our room was quite weak, although it worked well in the common areas. We also would have appreciated a coffee maker in the room, and a few more vegan options at breakfast.

LOCATION!!!!! It’s the perfect position. Central to everything. Walk out the hotel to be surrounded by exceptional restaurants and shops. 10 minute walk to the Marina bay … the ferries were 10 minutes walk as well as the beach clubs. The staff were so friendly and helpful Will definitely choose this spot again

The location, decor, style and the staff were all wonderful. Our first ever rooftop pool which was lovely. Luca and Andrea on reception were exceptional. Grazie for making our stay very memorable. Highly recommended. Our 3rd time in Sorrento.

The only thing that could improve were the sausages at breakfast did not look appetising. Not much to complain about really !!

I highly recommend this beautiful Hotel. It's in the perfect location, with easy walking access around Sorrento and to Piazza Tasso and Marina Piccola. Staff was very accommodating and the room was a great size and very clean. Loved the roof top bar and pool.

We are currently staying at Grand Hotel La Favorita, and unfortunately, our experience has been overshadowed by a completely unacceptable housekeeping incident. After returning to our room from dinner last night, we discovered my husband’s clothing had been placed inside the bidet. We travel extensively and stay at luxury hotels around the world, and in all of our travels, we have never experienced anything remotely like this. We rescheduled our morning tour to discuss our concerns with Management. However, when we brought it to management’s attention, Daniela explained that it was a mistake and attempted to reassure us that the bidet was clean. She also suggested that many guests do not know what a bidet is or how it is used. Respectfully, that explanation was both irrelevant and dismissive. We have had bidets in our home for more than 10 years and are well aware of their purpose. Regardless of whether the bidet had been cleaned, it is a fixture intended for personal hygiene—not a place to store or place a guest’s clothing. If housekeeping was performing turndown service, there were numerous appropriate alternatives, such as the bed, a chair, the luggage rack, or even the bathtub. Placing clothing in a bidet is simply unacceptable, especially at a hotel that promotes itself as a five-star property. What disappointed us most was not just the incident itself, but the response. Rather than fully acknowledging how inappropriate this was, the explanation seemed to minimize our concerns. To make matters worse, the hotel’s gesture to resolve the situation was to offer us a “welcome drink”—a soda and a glass of prosecco. That response completely missed the point. This was not about receiving a complimentary beverage; it was about respect for guests’ personal belongings, proper housekeeping standards, and accountability. This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and questioning the housekeeping standards behind the scenes. If staff members believe it is acceptable to place a guest’s clothing in a bidet, it raises legitimate concerns about how guest belongings are handled when no one is present. Five-star luxury is about professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for your guests. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below those expectations. We sincerely hope management reviews its housekeeping procedures and staff training so that no future guest has to experience something like this.

Concerned about the hygiene here. We came back from dinner to find my clean clothing placed inside the bidet—a fixture meant for intimate personal hygiene. The housekeeper had just left it there, like it was a normal part of the routine, which is exactly what makes you wonder what happens in these rooms when guests aren’t looking. When we flagged it, the manager, Daniela, brushed it off as a “mistake,” insisted the bidet was “clean,” and actually suggested guests don’t know what a bidet is. We’ve owned one for 10+ years—we know exactly what it’s for. Her fix for this nasty, unsanitary situation? Three bottles of water. Three. For a five-star hotel, that’s a disturbing lapse in sanitation, and an even more disturbing lack of accountability.

Excellent hotel! Perfect service experience, the best I've ever seen. They want to help you with everything at any moment, even with issues that are not related to the hotel at all. This is true for the entire staff, from the reception desk, through the dining room and bar, to parking the car and transferring the luggage. For example, we planned to end our trip in Sorrento and leave on the ferry in the morning, and we had to return the rental car with which we arrived from Naples two days earlier at about the same time. Andrea from the reception desk was amazing and took care of everything was needed with the car rental company, including having the company representative come to the hotel to collect the car. This hotel is fantastic! Everything about it is first rate. Our room on the first floor was spacious and well appointed. Thanks to the cleaning staff it was spotless. There was a wide choice of food at breakfast and an egg station for a range of omelettes etc. All of the staff were charming and efficient whether at breakfast, lunch or dinner. We found the location ideal as we dined out almost every evening and there is huge range of nearby restaurants. We will definitely return.
