Excellent apartments , beautifully clean . Very comfortable beds , great bathroom with lovely shower. Brilliant location , lovely staff , plenty of sunbeds . Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, hope to visit again ! Carol & Paul

Stayed here for a little over a week with my friends as part of an Easyjet package holiday. The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet with a mix of different types of guests. All of the staff here couldn’t do enough for you and were all so lovely and helpful throughout our stay (special mentions go to the lady behind the pool bar and the security guard who helped me and my friends to our rooms on several occasions after a night on the strip!) The rooms were well equipped and were clean and comfortable. Bedding was changed and fresh towels were provided daily. The pool area was a great place for us to be during the day. Plenty of seating both in the sun and the shade. Pool bar was very reasonably priced and had a large menu of drinks and food. Staff were also very helpful with food allergies and were extremely attentive. The hotel is in a good location, with a shop, restaurant/ cafe/ bar and chemist all within 5 to 10 minutes. The strip is around 15 to 20 minutes away and the beach is about 20 to 25 minutes away (on foot). The only downsides to this hotel are that you have to pay for air conditioning which if I remember correctly is €15 per night. I can understand why they do this however it was quite expensive. When using the shower, water floods the entire bathroom which made the floor very slippery and we were having to wear our sliders in the bathroom in order to not get wet following. Finally, during the day the gates are open and unmanned. Meaning that anyone walking past can just walk into the grounds of the hotel which did create a slight feeling of insecurity. Overall this hotel couldn’t have been much better and really made our holiday. Should I ever return to Malia/ Crete, I will most definitely be staying here. Thank you all once again.

Beautiful hotel Me and my mother stayed here recently and we had a fantastic time. The staff are so friendly The rooms are clean and big (the shower is amazing) Pool area is nice with lovley pool bar and sunloungers are always available. The food is superb aswell .. Cannot fault this place at all! We will be back Thank you for making our holiday special

Lovely apartments and very well maintained. Food and drink are well priced and the quality and portion sizes are good. Location is about a ten minute walk from Malia strip and just a few minutes from the beautiful bars and restaurants of Old Town Malia. Close enough to get to everything but far enough to still have a good night's sleep. Our only complaint re the hotel is that the pool is super cold, so getting in it at this time of year was - breathtaking! Might be worth considering somw heating for it!

This is our second time at the kristalli hotel and for a three star hotel you get five star treatment, very family orientated from old to young and every member of staff are so friendly. The owners and staff do their best to give you a holiday to remember so no wonder so many return year after year. You even get a bottle of wine in your room on arrival. A lovely family retreat. On arrival, we were greeted personaly by the family who own it. They asked how our flight had been and showed us quickly to our room. The accommodation was very comfortable and modern and for a charge included air conditioning, (a must in the heat at this time of the year.) A nice touch was we were also given a complementary bottle of wine in our room. The whole complex although small, was managed immaculately and pool and bar areas had plenty of beds and shade to relax. Thers was also a pool table for guests to use. The bar staff were lovely and would always help and advise when and if needed about tourists advice. The food menu was very nice, I reccomend the Kristalli Burger for those hungry people,. These apartments are in the old town of Malia and much quieter than the main strip, but if you wanted, it was about a 20 minute walk to the centre. There were lots of very pretty and nice restaurants around the apartments. All in all, I loved my two week stay here and will definitely return. Thank you Nikkos and your family.

I've just got back from a fantastic holiday at the Kristalli hotel. I went with my two daughters aged 14 and 17. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were greeted by the lovely Demitri, who showed us to our room and sorted out our air conditioning which I had arranged in advance. The room was amazing, clean, spacious and with two balconies. The beds were so comfortable so every night we had a brilliant sleep. The pool area is beautiful, the sunbeds are on a grassed area and spaced out so you don't feel on top of anyone. There are plenty of sunbeds so no need to rush down in the morning, this was a huge bonus. The pool was clean and inviting. We ate at the pool bar everyday and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The hotel close to the old town which has lots of beautiful restaurants then a slightly further walk to the strip. Perfect for myself and daughters. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are just wonderful, they make you feel welcome, are polite and are great fun. Thank you to them all for a perfect stay. We are going to book up and come back next year!

So hard to put into words just how amazing this holiday and accommodation was. Our first holiday to Crete and certainly won’t be our last. Will definitely be staying at Kristalli again, wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Firstly the staff are amazing! Welcoming, kind, friendly. You couldn’t ask for more. Nothing is a bother to them. I love the family run ethos, and the smaller setting. We were made to feel welcome and right at home. They take such a genuine and kind interest in the kids and interact with warmth. I 100% understand why so many of the families present during our stay had already stayed previous years at Kristalli. The air con is an added extra- but 100% worth it. The Aircon was lovely and cool and kicked in straight away as soon as we entered our rooms and had our windows and doors shut. Far better to pay the little extra and have good air conditioning rather than having it included in the price as many other accommodations day and it doesn’t work or isn’t very cool. The rooms were clean, spacious and maids cleaned every day and clean towels. A big perk is not having to race to reserve sun loungers, no matter what time of the day you come down there is always sun loungers available and plenty of space in the pool. It never felt over crowded. Just perfect. They even provide little pillows to borrow for under your towel at the pool. The pool bar is great, amazing cocktails and delicious food. So reasonably priced also. Staff even bring drinks and food right to your lounger! Amazing service! We got goodbyes, Hugs and handshakes before we left, making us feel again really welcome. The location was perfect for us! Up the hill slightly from the old town- 5 minute walk into the old town for restaurants and 10 min walk to the strip, about 15 minutes to the closest beach. It was lovely and quiet. We had a perfect nights sleep each night of our 14 night stay. The old town is just stunning!!! Absolutely beautiful little streets and restaurants. We loved avli, zorbas, San Giorgio and nostimo. No need to go near the strip if you don’t want to. The strip wasn’t vulgar or messy when we did visit for the shops or to the beach but this was during the day and before 11pm at night so not sure if it’s different when it’s later. If you’re reading this, honestly, book Kristalli you will not regret it. We have children ranging from 16 to 2 years old and ticked all the boxes but we also seen older couples and young couples with no kids also. It really does suit all. Thank you Kristalli for the perfect stay and we can’t wait to return soon!

I love smaller family run businesses and this was almost that. Not small by any means but not too large either. Place was just right. Accommodation was clean and tidy with all your needs covered. (Fridge, small freezer compartment and a kettle) Cleaning was done every day and to a good standard. (Cleaners were all lovely and very friendly!) Staff/family who own and run the place are just amazing. So friendly and helpful, and even the younger ones, too! You can see that their business is on the utmost importance to them. Food and drinks available on the premises was lovely! The pool was lovely, although at times perhaps quite full especially with abandoned floaties which took up a lot of space. Only thing we were sad about was the pool closing at 8pm as we would have liked to have had a dip later in the evening but it’s not the end of the world especially when everything else was so good! Within walking distance of shops and nightlife etc. Get yourself to kristalli hotel apartments and you’ll see for yourselves ❤️

We had a lovely stay at this charming, family-run apartment complex. The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided every other day. The pool area was clean and refreshing—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The on-site food was freshly cooked and delicious, adding a homely touch to the experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is ideal, right within the old town and just a short walk to numerous authentic Greek restaurants. It truly offered a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and local charm. We would definitely go back!

An amazing perfectly up to date, immaculately clean, family ran business who are really hard working friendly kind people. Always happy to help, always with a smile and nothing too much to ask. Apartments are perfectly clean, modern and everything you can need. Supermarket 20 seconds walk away. Food at kristalli is second to none so we didn’t cook in apartments as they did everything we needed for a great price. Whether breakfast, dinner or tea all great choices and made very tasty! We arrived midnight plus and had water etc in fridge for us plus bottle of their own red wine 😍 The staff are abs spot on!! So happy, kind, helpful and full of life - even the day staff in the heat they work in - can’t do enough. ❤️ The night time staff 😀 what can I say! So fun, relaxed. Nicos - you are the best host …. and your side kick- hope you get your dream bmw bike soon - you’re a total asset to any company from what we have seen - at such a young ages you’re always smiling happy and very confident in making people welcome. Stayed here with my Christine for a 2 week holiday on July 14th, quickly booked in and shown to our room which was a nice touch on arrival. Milk, water in the fridge and a bottle of red wine . Room was spotlessly clean, beds nice and comfy. We had a problem with our Air Con which the staff were all over it, eventually getting engineers in to fit a brand new system which was above the call of duty and much appreciated. All bar food and drinks reasonably priced , freshly cooked food and well presented. All staff excellent, speaking good English and a big hello to Yannis who was excellent. Highly recommend.

This is the most perfect place to stay. This was our third visit and it never disappoints. Rooms, food and staff are excellent! Their baked feta is a must try! A 5 minute walk from the beautiful old town which is film set pretty. Our favourite place to holiday

Me and my friends recently stayed at the kristalli apartments and did not have a great experience. During our stay we found loads of ants all in the double bed which me and my friend were staying and later realised that there were loads all in our room. They seemed to be coming from behind the head board of the bed and were all around the air con unit, as well as going onto our makeup desk where all of our belongings were. When we raised concern about it to the owners, we politely asked to do it somewhere privately instead of by the pool, which was where we first started talking, so we wouldn’t make a scene or have others overhear (which i now wish we did shout it so everyone else heard). After explaining what had happened, the lady who must have been the owner was extremely rude and made it seem like it was our fault and how we should have told them earlier because now there was ‘nothing they could do about it’ at that time of the day as all the maids had finished cleaning. We then asked to change rooms as there was no way we would sleep in the bed that night but they said they were fully booked and if we had come earlier in the day (even though it was about 2pm) they would have been able to move us. After constant rudeness from this woman, despite us being polite and asking for them to sort the issue, the man who also seemed like an owner said he would come to our room and spray the ants as a temporary resolution. We had no choice but to accept this as they were adamant there was no other option, however I’m sure if we were not a young group of girls, they would have sorted this problem. When the man did come up and spray the ants, there wasn’t even anything in the bottle and only went to get a new one after 5-10 minutes of pretending stuff was coming out and after my friend pointed out the bottle was empty. He also gave us sheets to change the bedding but said that we would have to do it ourselves and he didn’t even help us. I ended up sleeping on a pool lilo for 2 nights because the issue wasn’t sorted and I didn’t want to sleep in a bed with loads of ants. We also would get woken up early by the maids knocking on the door every morning and forcing us to get out even when we said no. And having to pay 105 euros for a 6 night stay for aircon as well as a 14euro tourist tax and also having to pay 20 euros for the safe. It’s such a shame this happened to us because the rest of the staff were lovely and a lot of other factors about the hotel was nice, however the fact the staff were not even surprised when we brought up the bugs and were just extremely rude about it instead of being kind and sorting the problem really ruined the trip for me and my friends.

Wow! This hotel is just breathtaking, so much better than the pictures! The staff(specifically the two woman) are incredible, they do EVERYTHING and i mean everything! e.g Bartender, Receptionist, Maid, Child Minder, Chef, Cleaner and many more! Those ladies were so kind and we really enjoyed our time there! Also Demetrius the night guard was such a lovely man, made us all feel so safe and we loved using his torch. Had the best week of my life and it was all down to this hotel! I would 100% recommend you just stay here atleast once in your lifetime or else you’re missing out. Very close to the strip too as we are 18 so that’s obviously what we went for! The air conditioning is amazing, we were stressed it wouldn’t work but it was the perfect temperature at all times. The maids were so lovely and respectful when cleaning our rooms. For our first solo holiday as 18yr olds we felt so safe and welcomed into the loving arms of Kristalli Staff!

Had the best week of my life in this hotel! Was blown away by how nice the room was (photos don't do it justice). The nightime security was kind to us each night as long as we were quiet. Safe to say we werent expecting to get flashed by his torch on the first night. Great food options offered at the bar and we were treated nicely by the staff who work so hard at everything. Never met room service so dedicated to their job they couldn't take no for an answer!! Walking distance from the strip as long as you can put up with a few cats. Pool closes at 8 so no late night swimming but still lovely during the day. We went in June and found it was mostly youths and elderly as school holidays hadn't started yet. Definitely a good spot if you like a party!!

What another amazing holiday. Nico and all his family are great. All the staff work really hard. Nico is a brilliant funny guy. The grounds and pool area are immaculate. So relaxing. Back again there next year. Can’t wait. Only five minutes to the old town with great restaurants and then another couple of minutes to the main area. The Kristalli Gyros was amazing.

We have just left this fantastic hotel as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel was in a great location and the staff were so helpful clearly a nice family run business. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. Good value for money for a family holiday.

Amazing stay here for the May half term would definitely recommend close to everything perfect for the kids. Bars & restaurants all close by weather was a little hit & miss but that can’t be helped in May. Family run hotel food & drinks on the complex are great & it’s all reasonably priced.

As we booked this hotel as a late deal we didn’t like to complain. As we are an older couple we didn’t expect to climb 30+ stairs to our room which was on the other side of the road to the main building. There is no lift. The balcony was ok till we found the next rooms bathroom window at the side of our balcony and as it was open we could hear everything. The toilet seat lid kept falling down. The sink tap was loose. As for good point.It was clean. We didn’t see any staff as we went to reception 3 times but no one was there. Quite a walk to beach or to a bus stop if you are not able to walk far.

First visit here on a bargain 2 week break. In a lovely setting up a hill in the old town. The room, the gardens, everything was immaculate. No rush for sunbeds here, just a very relaxed atmosphere. The family who run this were lovely and friendly. On leaving we were poured a beer each on the house and Nico came over to give me a handshake when our bus turned up. Its little touches like this, every guest is treated like a friend. Going down the hill, there are plenty of Greek restaurants and a couple of bars. The standout restaurant for us was Avli. It’s best to book or arrive early and you can book online. The strip is across the road from the old town at the bottom of the hill if that’s your kind of thing although worth mentioning there is a large supermarket at the start of the strip although there is a supermarket close the the Kristalli and a few more down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, if you turn left there is a patisserie which sells amazing cakes, ice creams, bread, pastries etc. Would we go back, yes absolutely.

Booked as a late getaway but what a lovely surprise,an oasis in the old town of Malia. Family run hotel with everything you could want . Great location for finding authentic tavernas and bars. Secluded enough for quiet evenings but very friendly staff who mingle with their guests and make you feel like family. We hope to return this September to enjoy this hotel again.

Had a great holiday at Kristalli. Room was good (although the A/C would "break" every now and then but would soon be back on!) Food was nice for lunch. We ate out every evening but had breakfast included which was ok. It's not amazing but was good enough for us. No problem getting sun lounges no matter what time you get up. We were there school holidays. The place is immaculate, spotless. The restaurants in the old town are minutes away. Milo's literally round the corner is outstanding. As is Zorbas. If you like a beach holiday then it's probably not the place for you as the beach is a good 25 minute walk. We hired quad bikes so everything was in reach! Highly recommended.

A true gem of a hotel in the Old Town. The family are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. All staff members are also polite and courteous too. The room we had was spacious and immaculately clean and room service was excellent. An excellent pool area with beautiful gardens and plenty of sun beds . Third visit to the Kristalli, and the first in 5 year, I have to say still one of my best holiday experiences, the family that run the place are second to none, friendly, fun and welcoming. Being honestly recognised after a 5 year hiatus was memorable to me and my wife. The rooms are great with everything you can possibly need, the location away from the strip with lots of tavernas to chose from, all great food. Hats off to you guys for making yet another memorable stay for us, we will be back why wouldn’t we ❤️❤️

Très bon voyage là bas pour une durée de 10 jours.

Firstly the complex is run by a very welcoming family who make everyone feel welcomed, shame we only stayed for 1 week but will look to stop again. Rooms very basic but had cooking facilities, air conn (extra) and a tv - maid service seemed to clean the sheets everyday. Pool was fairly big and a smaller one for toddlers. Breakfast was served in the pool bar and was all fresh and continental (we were B&B) . Location 10 mins from most restaurants and bars in the old town or 15 mins to the strip. Location was quiet so not being disturbed by loud music etc. would recommend..

On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of complimentary wine, juice and water- a wonderful touch. The room was clean and stylish- very comfortable. The pool was a good temp, plenty of sun beds, parasols and even outdoor cushions available.

Stayed at Kristalii in August for 9 days and the service, rooms, food (especially Feta in the oven, a must try), location, grounds and staff were all exceptional. I would highly recommend staying here & if I do come back to Malia I would make this my first choice. I have stayed at various hotels in Malia over the years but Kristalii stands out as one of the more premium for a very respectable price given the standards they uphold. Thanks for a great holiday. We have just come back from a week at Kristalli, we had a throughly fab time, the apartment was great, clean and had everything you need, the pool and bar area is very clean and plenty of sun beds, the pool is a little small but that's a minor detail. It's within walking distance 5/10mins to lots of beautiful traditional restaurants in the old town and a 25 min walk to the beach and the strip. What made the holiday is the staff absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and so friendly! Thanks so much to the whole team!

We’re out here at the moment and felt the need to review this amazing place! My lad has sen and the staff have gone above and beyond, we’ve fallen in love with the place so much so I’ve already booked for next august! This place really is a gem xoxo

Just back from 14 night stay and can't say enough good things about our trip. Apartments and grounds are immaculately clean, housekeeping staff are very pleasant and obviously take pride in their work. Bar staff and owners of the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Good selection of food and drinks at pool bar. On arrival there was a bottle of wine In room waiting for us thought this was a lovely gesture. We've already booked for next year!

Me and my wife have been going to Greece for many years. We found the Kristalli hotel to be one of the best in Malia. The first thing that strikes you is how clean the hotel is. The hotel grounds are immaculate as for the rooms there are different size of rooms you can book. We upgraded to a larger room, it was huge lots of space to move around there is a very good size bathroom with a large walk in shower. As for the kitchen area is basic but functional but who wants to cook when on holiday but is ideal if you want to make a sandwich. Now for the staff. I would like to say a thank you to the night security man who helped my wife when she fell he was very helpful. As for the owners and bar staff, they could not do enough for you always smiling and very friendly. Just to mention the air-conditioning is extra but this is standard practice in Greece. You may find cheaper hotels in Malia but I guarantee you will not find better. Happy holiday to you.

Eva was super friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble from booking restaurants to booking pedacures, couldn't recommend Eva and the rest of the staff highly enough.

Schönes und ruhiges Hotel, nicht zu viele Zimmer und damit nicht zu sehr überlaufen. Sehr nette Gastgeber, gepflegte Außenanlagen. Es werden am Pool Liegen, Schirme und auch Spielzeug für die Kinder, Bälle etc. zur Verfügung gestellt. Das W-LAN funktioniert leider nur eingeschränkt und die Reichweite geht nicht in alle Zimmer. Die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile ist relativ sparsam, für die meisten Zwecke aber ausreichend. Wir hatten einen insgesamt sehr schönen Urlaub.

Sehr netter Ortsteil, in dem das Hotel lag. Das Hotel war schön und mit Flug und Mietwagen hat auch alles sehr gut geklappt, also perfekter Urlaub.

Struttura moderna con piscina. Servizio sempre efficiente a tutte le ore. Proprietari e personale gioviale e gentilissimo. Un bel periodo di vacanza passato su un'isola tutta da scoprire.

Wir hatten ein Studio im einzigen Gebäude auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite mit Garten- bzw. Bergblick. Vorteil: Hinten war es etwas ruhiger, denn auf der Straße ist oft viel Verkehr. Das Studio und generell die Anlage sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind aber nicht schalldicht. Leider fallen die Zimmertüren ins Schloss und unter der Tür ist ein größerer Spalt, sodass man die "Nachtschwärmer" hört und diese selten Rücksicht nehmen und sehr laut sind. Wer Ruhe sucht, sollte im hinteren Teil mit schönem Garten und Palmen ein Appartment buchen. Die verschiedenen Gebäude verteilen sich um den Pool, im hinteren Teil sowie eines auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Es gibt genügend Liegen. Den Pool haben wir aber nicht benutzt, da wir ein Mietauto hatten und damit zu verschiedenen Stränden fuhren. Der Strand in Malia ist fußläufig ca. 25 Minuten entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es sehr gute Tavernen - z.B. Queen und Milos sind sehr zu empfehlen! Mietauto kann ich nur empfehlen und damit die nähere Umgebung erkunden....

Wir haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht und waren insgesammt recht zufrieden. Obwohl das Hotel von vielen jungen Leuten besucht wird, war es sehr ruhig, das Zimmer ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool, das Frühstücksbuffet wird an der Poolbar aufgebaut und ist in Ordnung. Die Feiermeile ist fußläufig erreichbar, das ist für Menschen, die enormen Trubel wollen wichtig, im Hotel kehrt ab 21:00 Uhr mehr Ruhe ein. Es gibt einen hoteleigenen Parkplatz und die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist hervorzuheben. Fazit: Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert, wenn man im Urlaub abends feiern möchte. Leider muss die Klimaanlage seperat bezahlt werden, bei der Preisklasse sollte diese jedoch schon inkludiert sein.

Zeer mooie accomodatie, rustig gelegen, zeer vriendelijke en hulpvaardige mensen

Beide Appartments waren wie neu renoviert und boten je zwei Personen genügend Platz. Schöne kleine private Terrassen vor den Ap. Wunderbares Frühstück am Pool mit viel Obst und Griechischem Yoghurt, verschieden Eiern jeden Tag, div. Broten, Müsli, Käse, Wurst, und wechselndem süßen Gebäck. Zu Fuß kann man die nette Altstadt schnell erreichen. Kleines Geschäft gleich in der Nähe, Parkplatz direkt an der Anlage. Unbedingt zu Tabepna Milos Essen gehen (bitte reservieren, ist immer voll) und zu Nostimo beide ganz wunderbare Restaurants. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Innenhof, das der Kinder zur Straßenseite, aber sie haben nie über Lärm geklagt. Die gesamte Anlage wurde ständig gereinigt und das Personal war stets freundlich und zurückhaltend um einen nicht zu stören. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert. An der Hauptstraße verkaufen ältere Damen Bananen aus ihrem Garten, die schmecken viel besser, als wir sie je im Supermarkt bekommen.

Joli petit hôtel dans le vieux Malia loin de l'ambiance festive de la ville et proche des bonnes tavernes. Un accueil plus que parfait avec une attention toute particulière pour les enfants. Les appartements sont très bien agencés très propres et l'extèrieur est très agréable avec sa piscine et son restaurant/snack où l'on peut manger à tout heure. Petit déjeuner très correct. Petit bémol sur la qualité des matelas qui sont bien trop fermes à mon goût..

Friendly staff, nice pool area with sunbeds for all. Was a lot of young people but still it was very quiet at night. If we come back to Malia we would stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights in a nice new and big apartment. Good airco and a good bathroom. although we arrived late the staff was very nice and helped us right away when we could not get the airco to work. It has a good pool and a nice pool bar where you can have a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are normal. It is a little far from the beach but you can still walk there.

on arrival we were shown to a newly refurbished room where there was free bottles of water and wine by friendly members of the family. Ours was not a spacious studio but it had everything we needed and over our stay it was cleaned daily. The free buffet breakfast had plenty of variety and was served in the immaculate pool bar, a lovely start to the day. The pool (which is an optical illusion when viewed from above) and its surroundings are superb. spacious, plenty of sunbeds and not closed in by buildings which makes it a restful place. It is quite a distance from the beach but close in the very attractive old town. We would choose this hotel again.

Superbe accueil de Nikos, Georgio et Catharina qui nous préparent de superbes petits déjeuners variés et donnent de bons conseils de visite. Discrets et agréable, confort dans les chambres et propreté impeccable chaque jour. Délicates attentions et endroit calme, bien entretenu avec piscine ! Super et agréable, bon rapport qualité - prix.

Good location in Malia Old Town - rooms average - beds low and quite uncomfortable - excellent buffet breakfast - was told check out time was 10am and not 12 noon as stated when I booked - this upset quite a few other guests . Food and drink quite expensive.

Zeer comfortabel appartement dat erg netjes was. Personeel zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ligging in de oude stad Malia waar het redelijk rustig was.

Accueil chaleureux, boisson et vin offerts. Les patrons sont très sympathiques. Ambiance conviviale dans un complexe moderne et bien situé.

Sono stata in questo hotel/apartments nel mese di agosto per quattro giorni con il mio ragazzo è un'altra coppia nel complesso M sono trovata bene tra le cose positive il personale cordiale e disponile le stanze ben arredate invece tra le cose che Nn mi sono piaciute la pulizia delle stanze viene fatta in maniera superficiale e L 'aria condizionata non funzionava bene o comunque solo con tutte le finestre sigillate,per non parlare della colazione l'ansia del nostro soggiorno il primo giorno abbiamo ritsrdato solo 5minuti è già C era il ragazzo del bar"unico non cordiale"che picchiettava il polso facendoci notare l'orario e osservava ogni nostra mossa come se non avessi pagato per usufruire al buffet che poi la colazione era ripetitiva e Nn C'era una grande varietà di scelta.Poi la piscina era piccola e c'era una grande quantità di gente mentre l'altra piscina più grande era chiusa infine posso dire che nonostante queste pecche il posto è situato vicino il centro e ogni cosa è' facilmente raggiungibile .

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Aussenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt. Unser Appartement war sehr geräumig. Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde auf der überdachten Poolterasse angeboten. Das Angebot war in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden definitiv noch ein weiteres Mal dorthin fahren.

I personally did not enjoy the Malia area as it was too touristy and lots of heavy partying area. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was one of the best in the Malia area if you are staying there.

Wir hatten unseren Urlaub zusammen mit einem Mietwagen gebucht, um uns den besten Strand zu suchen und die Insel mit ihren vielen schönen Plätzen zu erkunden. Das Hotel sollte ruhig liegen und am Abend Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar sein, damit wir beide den guten griechischen Wein genießen konnten. Unser Hotel hat all unsere Erwartungen erfüllt, es ist sehr sauber, ordentlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Hotelchef hat immer Zeit für ein paar nette Worte und gute Tips für Ausflüge. Das Frühstück war reichlich und lecker, sogar mit lecker Körnerbrot und gutem Filterkaffee, leider ein wenig eintönig. Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, alles in bestem Zustand, sogar eine komplett eingerichtete Küchenzeile. Mit der Klimaanlage hatten wir ein wenig zu kämpfen, um die richtige Temparatur zu finden, hat aber dann doch geklappt. Das Bad hätte ein wenig gründlicher geputzt werden können, aber da alles andere perfekt war, kann man darüber hinweg sehen. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Urlaub, wir würden sofort wieder hin gehen.

We've just arrived back from a 10 day stay at the Kristalli. I was very dubious about staying so near to Malia but my worries were unfounded. This is a family run business and they are all absolutely lovely- I can't praise them enough. They are all friendly and helpful and the hotel is quiet set in Old Malia, not far from the madness of Malia if that's what you want. We didn't and there were lovely taverna's near by and only a few minutes drive away you are in the tranquil mountain setting with picturesque villages, monastries and caves. There are beaches nearby and the best one we went to is Potamos beach which is quiet and sandy with clear blue water. This is about a 10/15 minute walk away.

I was staying on my own as part of a wedding party spread over various hotels. As such I was in and out of the Kristalli at odd times, which was always handled well - on my first night I checked in at 4am with a friendly welcome and no problems. The staff were always on hand, especially at breakfast, or around the pool bar if I needed food, drinks, or a taxi. The food from the pool bar was very good, and the hotel grounds were well-kept. My room was fairly simple, but clean. The other guests were mostly couples and families who were well-behaved and friendly. On-site parking is also available if you need to hire a car. But it was a short walk to the beautiful Malia old town (around 7 minutes if you know where you're going) and it's certainly possible to walk or take a taxi to the beach or bars and clubs on the main strip. Thank you George and Katerina for a lovely relaxing holiday. This is a very nice little family-run hotel if you want somewhere fairly quiet near the old town but with access to the nightlife.

We stayed for 1 night and got very nice and comfort appartment. The view is fantastic and the room is very comfortable. Need to improve the signs from the main road to the location. The way from the main road to the locations is a little bit hard to drive.

We were looking for a relaxing holiday and that's certainly what we found at Kristalli. We are in our 40s and weren't really sure how it would be being surrounded by so many people under twenty. It was fine. Mornings the pool and breakfast area were empty as all the youngsters were recovering from the night before. As they slowly emerged from the darkness there was simply a relaxed fun atmosphere poolside. The only time when there was sometimes a problem with noise was when the kids were all getting ready to go out between 10 and midnight. There is a midnight curfew which is strictly enforced. Malia is a real party resort but the mad activity is confined to a long strip leading down to the beach. Kristalli hotel is far away from that scene. It was great just lying by the pool staring across at the mountains.

Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel en milieu d'après midi, la chambre qui nous a été octroyé dans un 1er temps n'était vraiment pas super (lits simples que l'on ne pouvait pas rapprocher, sdb pas terrible...). Nous avons donc demander une chambre avec lit double mais ils n'en avaient aucune dans l'hôtel. Cependant la très gentille dame qui s'occupe de la réception a réussi à nous trouver une chambre (qui venait tout juste de se libérer) rénovée récemment avec des lits simples mis l'un à côté de l'autre et une super sdb! Ce qui a changer l'avis qu'on se faisait de l'hôtel en voyant la 1ère chambre! L'Hôtel est assez grand mais très agréable, surtout la piscine et le bar/restaurant (délicieux!!) attenant. Les propriétaires sont incroyablement gentils et attentionnés. Je ne recommande pas la ville de Malia en elle même, elle n'a pas vraiment d’intérêt, mais cet hôtel est vraiment top et c'est un bon point de départ pour visiter Agios Nikolaos, Spinalonga, Plaka, etc.

Als wir angekommen sind wurden wir herzlich von dem Personal begrüßt. Das Apartment war sauber und die Anlage war sehr ruhig. Für einen entspannten Familienurlaub ist es sehr passend. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich aber im großen und ganzem war es gut.

We were brought this for our honeymoon as a surprise. It was absolutely lovely. Staff really nice would definitely recommend it.

Très bien situé, puisque la ville de Malia est accessible en 5mn à pieds, et suffisamment en retrait pour être au calme. La chambre était très propre et toute neuve avec clim. L'hôtel est construit autour de la piscine ou le bar vous propose de quoi vous rafraichir. Le point important à souligner c'est la sympathie du personnel, toujours à l'écoute et plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à visiter en Crète.

Although we didnt particurlarly like Malia we really loved our accommodation. We got off the bus and asked some locals where the hotel is and turned out we were asking the night security guard from the hotel and he kindly offered us a lift. We checked in and had our room upgraded and free bottle of wine waiting in the room on arrival which was a nice touch. As Malia is orientated toward british party goers the breakfast at the hotel was catered towards them but was still very good and reasonably priced. The hosts were fantastic, very friendly and a good laugh at the bar. This hotel is great value for money and would reccomend to anyone staying in Malia. If only it was in a nicer part of Crete!
