Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel Itaewon - Renovated in 2025

Excellent location just in the centre of active and vibrant Itaewon district- 2-3 min walking distance from famous club streets and Itaewon metro station! Big and clean rooms! Enjoyed stayed there and will book again in my next Seoul trip!

Very good! 12Fl room with amazing view with balcony like half sized (? )window. clean and really good location near by all chic and descent shops and few min walk to many cafes and restaurants. Also so easy and comfy vallet parking 5,000krw per night. Breakfast was 3kinds at cute little place at lobby. Strongly recommend! Itewon street has 2 different mood areas. loud and noisy party club etc area and descent calm and cool shops restaurant area. This hotel is at descent part. 👍🏽 fsmous local eatery. Buzza pizza is strongly recommended. Also Bada Sikdang 바다식당 ‘s Johnson soup 부대찌게. 👏🏻🇰🇷 view at room.

Hôtel moderne propre et très bien situé dans le quartier animé d’Itaewon mais en étant su calme

L’accueil à la réception : après un bonjour “automatique”, la jeune fille nous a montré directement la tablette sur laquelle nous devons lire les choses à ne pas faire dans l’hôtel. Une liste d’interdictions qu’il faut signer. Est-ce une façon d’accueillir des clients dans un hôtel ? On ne se sent pas les bienvenus.

Konumu iyi. Metro ve otobüse yakın. Bunu bilerek tutmamıştım ama tesadüfen de olsa çevrede bir sürü Türk restoran ve hemen arka sokakta cami ve helal yemek satan yerlerin olması çok iyiydi. Seul’den helal yemek bulmak zor bu konuda hassasiyeti olan biri olarak otel çevresinde yemek yiyip o o şekilde farklı yerleri gezmek iyiydi. Ayrıca personelleri de çok beğendim hem resepsiyondaki kişiler hem de kat görevlisi oldukça tatlı ve yardımseverdi.

Odalar ve koridorlar inanılmaz karanlık. Bunun bu kadar büyük bir konforsuzluk yaratacağını düşünmemiştim ama çok etkiledi. Ayrıca odanın içi neredeyse tamamen ayna bu da rahatsız edici. Bunu iki durum olmasa belki de 5/5 bir oteldi.

Kaffemaskinen og køleskabet var rigtig fint.

Der var kun stik til opladning i den ene side af dobbeltsengen. Der var dårlig belysning fra sengelamperne.

Good location and reasonable price

L'hôtel est très bien situé à proximité des bus et métros. Le design est très original et le service très correct.

Ça aurait été bien d’avoir des machines à laver. Les chambres sont mal isolées au niveau du bruit de couloir etc c’est dommage

Good location

Bathroom has glass walls so no privacy offered while showering from other guests in room. Not good for friends traveling. Also door to bathroom has a massive hole at the top of it (does not go all the way to ceiling)

Location

Great location, and short walk to train/subway. Very close to main restaurant strip and all the local boutiques. The room was large, clean and had good ventilation. The bed was soft and comfortable and the amenities were all we needed.

The only thing was the street noise, the 12th floor we were on you could hear the nightclub underneath the hotel till the early hours of the morning on Saturday night /Sunday morning and a loud motorcycle or sports car sounded like it was right outside the door. We asked to be moved but were in the only junior suit of the hotel so we stayed.

The staff were excellent and professional throughout my stay, but unfortunately the room condition and overall design did not meet my expectations. The hotel is in need of renovation, and I believe the room conditions should be inspected to ensure they meet acceptable standards.

I stayed for two nights because the cancellation policy was very strict. On the first night, the room had a very strong unpleasant smell, as if beer had been spilled throughout the room. I also found many small particles on the bed, which made me question the cleanliness. The room was extremely dark, with very limited lighting, and almost every wall was covered with mirrors, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. The next day, I asked to change rooms, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They changed my room without any issues. The second room was cleaner and no longer had the unpleasant smell, but it was still very dark and had the same excessive use of mirrors.

La ubicación tiene mucha vida de día y de noche todo a la mano y la habitación suficiente espacio el baño amplio y moderno aunque con poca privacidad pero muy bonito y con amenidades

The room looks wider and more modern in the photos. There is no privacy for the restroom and bathroom area. Doors are not closed, all glass. Not suitable for a family stay.

הצוות היה ממש ואווו!! לשומרי שבת המקום ממש טוב נמצא 20 דקות הליכה מבית חב״ד ובאותה נשימה קרוב מרחק 10 דקות הליכה מכל הברים של איטוון. בנוסף הצוות יודע מזה שבת ואם תבקשו מהם הם יביאו לכם כמו נייר מנויילץ כזה כדי שהדלת לא תינעל אוטומטי כי אסור להשתמש בכרטיס בשבת!

קצת יקר

We loved that the staff were friendly and professional - for example, they quickly helped us with a taxi to the airport when we checked out, noted down the location and number for us. Also liked all the charging options in the room - didn't need our adapters at all. Location is very good for exploring Itaewon, but quiet also.

Room is small for the price.

Top Gym für ein Hotel, es ist fast alles da, um ein komplettes Workout durchzuführen. 2 Aufzüge, die zuverlässig funktionieren. Großes, funktionales Bad, Zimmer stylisch mit gutem Ausblick. Wurde eher für Übernachtung genutzt, da tagsüber unterwegs.

Air conditioning we could not control it and it acted up on the last two days

The Breakfast Dining Restaurant Area was beyond superb!!! Exceeded expectations!

I only had trouble changing languages on the TV setup. I ask hotel staff and was immediately fixed!

Location, care. Especially the breakfast staff who were extremely attentive and friendly.

Only a nuisance on weekends because of the surroundings with parties, and the sound leaked into the room. Nothing more absurd.

I was a little shocked since my last stay that it now had a night club downstairs- but I was in a high floor so didn’t bother me in the end. A young clientel stay here. Maybe not the business hotel it was for me

The gym is very small and old and cannot control the air conditioning inside the room, so it could be a bit cold for some people.

La localisation (même si le bruit des basses était parfois dérangeant), les équipements, le confort des lits, l'accueil et le personnel

Les chambres sont un peu sombres et peuvent paraitre un peu étroites pour 2 (nous avions une chambre double avec 2 lits)

Chambre agréable et spacieuse

The rooms were clean, comfortable and the location was excellent, situated at the edge of Itaewon you have a lot of nightlife, bars, international restaurants. It’s also just outside of Hannam where they are many trendy shops, cafes, restaurants. WiFi was fast and spotless.

Gym was very bare, unlike what they showed in the photos. The room we were assigned was also the pre-renovated version (or at least that’s how it looked like). It was comfortable for sure, but deviated from our expectations based on the online photos.

I don’t like this property. Room is very dark and very cheap too. I will never stay again.

So close to the nightlife in Itaewon.
