540 on Great South Motel

I like the location.Easy to go into my room and go out.Good size. The friendly boss and also the cleaner..

Not at all.

Beds are comfy, very tidy hotel very safe car parking 👌

Nope

Very tidy

Everything was Great

Clean and comfortable. Good stopover

No restaurant or bar :-)

Der Raum hat nicht gut gerochen. Ich kam mir etwas beschissen vor und ohne Gehör. Es kümmern sich jetzt andere darum

Everything but the next question

When i checked out i was asked if my daughter who didnt stay stayed if 3 people were staying i would have paid for 3 i felt that i was being treated like i was dishonest i was horrified

Location, shower was great, and comfortable clean beds, staff are friendly and helpful.

Just the musty smell however it served it’s purpose

Good value for money i liked that the main room had privacy

Second bed could been more comfortable

Very tidy facility

Handy location

Smelt in room, wasn't that clean. All dated. No dovet covers. It was cheap - You pay for what you get. Lots of decent reviews, I was a disappointed and won't be back.

The staff were friendly.

The lack of cleanliness.

Very clean rooms and daily servicing was great...

The stairs were steep when having to carry suitcases up to room.. The lights in my room were too dim for reading under. Could hear people talking and moving around in the other room through the walls...

There were bed bugs,

Good location for where I needed to be, handy out of hours access.

Showers were moldy, no steam extraction. Fridge temp was not cool

The staff here are always lovely to deal with . We have stayed several times before, but this time they upgraded us to a better room which was a lovely surprise. Always clean and wifi is great.

Comfortable bed and clean bed sheets. Excellent shower! After a long travel the amazing hot shower was so relaxing!

Once I open the door, the room was a bit smelly. I had to open windows to allow fresh air.

Clean, friendly, modernized

Space, bed, water pressure

Nothing

Loved everything about this place. Service, room, location. Perfect for those wanting a central location to Manukau, the airport and the city.

Nothing.

Great location and beds are comfortable showers are nice and clean

nil

I like the location and also they are safe and secure for us especially my daughter

Nothing

I didn't like anything about my stay as I never was meant to be there. Booking.com webpage reverted the dates to the Month February as my trip is 19-22 March 2026. My vehicle hire was done at the same time and that is for March so how you got it so wrong

Booking.com got it completely wrong and caused a huge expense for me as I need accommodations for 19-22 March 2026

functional motel with various food options in walking distance. conveniently located when you need to go to the airport. really nothing special.

It was good and very clean. Helpful staff.

Was too far away from the airport and the shuttle was way too expensive $40 per person and a 25 min drive. Google put me wrong on that one. Motel was good if you didn't need to get to airport.

Clean, quiet and spacious, handy to drive to the Otara Market

Long way to lug our bags from reception to our room. Guests need a wee trolley to use.

Great price, comfortable and clean would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Great stay good value for money

Very handy location close to shops friendly customer service and clean units.

I thought that this unit was clean, attractive to the eye, and very comfortable

I didn't know how to turn on the spa bath :(

The location, price and excellent staff

The website confirmed there was the ability to get room service for lunch and dinner but this wasnt the case. This was the main reason for booking at this motel

The place was clean. The bed comfy. I was luckily in a room behind the office so it was pleasantly quiet. The price was very affordable.

It was very old so not overly inviting.

The bed was comfortable

The room was a little tired

The peepz and for the price was very happy

Waking to the leak in the ceiling out in the hallway.

Location, facilities, room and service. Property is quiet and felt safe. Service was the best from the time we arrived to the time we left. We ended up staying another night. Love this place and if ever we are here again this is where we will book. Great location between Manukau and the city.

Not much.

The room had sky tv

Everything was great cant fault anything

Nothing about this motel was liked

We only were happy with the front desk woman. She was very kind and had some culture.

Staff were pleasant. My one bed suite was tiny but perfectly serviceable for one night. Was quiet even though on a main road which was surprising.

Some tidying up in places needed of tired furniture and maybe an in room info booklet would be great.

Dat het een vriendelijke staf heeft

Het geluid van de buitenunit airco o.i.d., maar dat hield op een bepaald moment op

Awesome place to stay

No dishwashing liquid!

The Tv , wifi wasn’t working on it n no sky channel

Nice comfortable bed and great shower pressure

It was just OK

Very old but it served our purpose as a last minute stay because of change of plans

A really clean room and the service was wonderful

Requested a late check in quite late in the booking and staff were very helpful organising a self check in for us. All questions were answered promptly. I really liked how clean the place was I could smell it as soon as I walked in which is a huge thumbs up from me. Im not bothered by how fancy a room is or the view as long as it is super clean which is was. Thanks to your awesome cleaners!!!

Comfortable

Tidy, everything I needed, good location for where I was going.

Nothing. Was really good.

Great location, great price . Helpful staff. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice clean and comfortable room.

Sky had no signal

Noise was minimal, clean rooms

The tv wasnt working properly but we were only there for the night

Staff and clean tidy

Nothing

Room 18 had a ranchslider going to a little outdoor area. Shower was powerful. Air con in a room 18 was great. Was not too far away from event we were going to at Go media stadiym and close to Sylvia park

Room 19 Air con didn't work very well. Reception had an overpowering smell maybe an industrial air freshener...was too much.

Well appointed room. Generally clean. Nice bed.

Aircon was a bit mouldy. Needs a clean. Could be 10/10 for the price.

How friendly staff were, and comfortability of the hotel

L

Did not have any

All was great

Some cutlery was missing

It was close to my aged mother.

Everything all good.

Nice and comfy beds with a lot of space to move around

The bathroom door didn’t close

It was good & fit our budget !

Very clean and well looked after. It had everything I needed for a weeks rest. You can tell the owners take pride in looking after this home away from home.

This was great value for money, conveniently located nearby to where we needed to be. Clean and comfortable.

We could not get the air conditioner to work, it wasn't too cold so was ok.
