Everything... repeat visit and staff remembered me.

Everything the staff were so friendly and helpful special shout out to Becky The location was perfect for a walk into town and the rooms were comfortable spotless and had all that you needs

We were welcomed to the Priory Arms and shown to our room, which was a decent size. Although the shower over the bath looked primitive it worked quite well. Breakfast service was good: there was a reasonable selection of fruit juices, hot drinks and yoghurts, whereas our cooked main course was brought to the table. I ordered eggs Benedict, and enjoyed it.

I don't criticise chefs for using artistic licence to add sparkle to a dish, though sometimes they stray too far from the brief. For dinner I had leek & potato soup (I identified onion and maybe garlic though not leek & potato), followed by a Katsu chicken burger; it was okay though not so much Katsu curry sauce as Katsu-like mustard. I wondered why there was a fan whirring in our room when we arrived, though it became evident overnight (some time after the end of the latest heatwave), that the room was quite warm. We had the window open to help with this, though that meant that we could hear a mechanical noise coming from the yard below.

We loved the convenient location, the staff (Rob and Becky) were welcoming and extremely helpful, made us feel valued as guests. Breakfasts and dinner were outstanding, we highly recommend the chicken kebabs, they were delicious. The finer touches of the property such as guest lounge, dining areas and gardens made us feel at home.

We would have liked a small bar fridge in the room.

The courtyard in the front was a comfortable and fairly private place to sit whilst having a coffee in the morning. It's very close & conveniently located to walk to everything in town. The parking was great. Nat was very helpful with suggestions for us when asked.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Location was near to the centre so was very convenient.

The water provided at breakfast with the tea making facilities could have been hotter.

Staff were wonderful, nothing was any trouble to changing times of meals to being helpful to relatives who were not guests but meeting us to go to family wedding. Made family very much at home even asking how wedding went. Room comfortable, shower great.

Bar closing at 10pm however, gave us a room where family could continue their reunion.

The Priory Hotel is close to the town, we enjoyed the walk.We also enjoyed the restaurant, the food was excellent with outstanding service. A great hotel, will definitely be returning.

It’s a beautiful building inside and out with great people running it. Very helpful staff, breakfast is served hot and delicious and lunch was delicious too. Location is perfect.

Great location for Tetbury and a Cotswolds weekend. Friendly and very helpful staff from the moment we arrived.. Excellent food and wine choices with a good room and very comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Only small points. I would say the room decor needed a refresh and there seemed to be no lift to upstairs. Neither of these points would stop us staying here again.

Location and staff were excellent. Restaurant had very good food. I recommend getting the breakfast (book ahead for best price).

The bathroom was a bit too small. The soap and shampoo packets were a bit awkward.

Bar closed on Sunday evening so it felt empty when we arrived back after our evening meal. Eggs overcooked at breakfast and toast was soggy, it had been grilled not toasted.

The staff were so very friendly and helpful. We requested to get the room early as travelling a long way, it was ready for us as we arrived. Couldn’t fault anything at all, the food for dinner and breakfast was excellent

The Priory Hotel is tastefully decorated in modern decor and spotlessly clean. The staff were naturally pleasant and friendly and made us feel very welcome after I’d cycled a (very) long way for charity. A special shout out for Natalie.

The breakfast was alright. The room was very spacious and a lovely big bed. The front of the building and gardens were very pretty

The en-suite was tired. Some black mould between the tiles. No towels on the second night, we had to wait an hour for them. No granola! Tea was do it yourself with hot water not boiling. The room was noisy near to a busy road. The blind didn’t keep the early morning sun out.

Staff were friendly and accomodating, Natalie was really helpful! Bed was comfy and the room was spacious. Tea tray had a good selection of teas, coffee and biscuits. Cold water was kept in a fridge in the reception and you could help yourself.

Bathroom was a little cramped, but layout can't be helped! Everything in there did what it needed to do!

Warm welcome, all staff friendly. Nice room .Towels of a very good quality. Liked the idea of chilled water in the fridge by reception.

Quiet, comfortable rooms with a wide choice of quality tea/coffee options and a flask of fridge cold water. Good, hot shower, good lighting in room, large comfortable bed. My room had air-con and I slept better than at home given the very hot weather. Genuinely caring staff who went out of their way to help and were friendly and welcoming. There was a good range of breakfast options and the full English cooked breakfast was especially tasty with good quality produce used.

The room was fairly hot and stuffy, even though there was a fan and they offered to open the window restrictor as no children in the room. I know we rarely get such hot weather but an aircon unit would have made it perfect!

breakfast was great, staff so helpful. walking distance to towm . the purpose of the trip was to go to highgrove. Short taxi journey to and from there . I go the train to kemble and rebooked my pick up and retunr journey to KEMBLE and HIghgrove in advance . KEITH the local taxi driver eas excellent. As the manager for his number if you need to book taxis.

We booked this hotel very last minute and they were so accommodating. Shout out to Nat and all the staff. We didn't eat there, but the coffees were superb and the food looked incredible. Beautiful location and decent sized room. We'd definitely stay there again. Facilities were spotless

Not sure if all the rooms are the same, but the bathroom was a bit small. However, the shower over the bath was lovely with great pressure. There wasn't AC in the room, and I'd imagine it might be a challenge if it was hot

Very comfortable Inn with a very good breakfast. The offered choices of cooked breakfast were excellent. The room was clean and the bathroom was, however a little smal, functional and complete with daily fresh bath towels.

It was a half-way house from York to Devon to split the journey.

Superior room was extremely ordinary! The en-suite was tiny: no room even for a soap on the small sink. The bedroom was directly over the kitchen and the banging and calling was disturbing. Not up to standard. The hotel plainly thought that their food was top-notch going by the OTT descriptions, ingredient details and pricings for evening meals; it wasn’t as good as they think. Breakfast was reasonable. The old dining hall is impressive but the reception area is dowdy and uninspiring. Overall, not what we expected so close to Highgrove - it was a disappointing stop-over.

Very welcoming and friendly and accommodated our changes of numbers for food and late checkouts. A perfect location for the night before a family wedding.

On check in the staff were exceptionally friendly and couldnt do enough a lovely touch. We ate in the hotel in the evening and again the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The room was very comfortable with tea/coffee/biscuits

The bathroom was very small and tired. There was not much room between the sink and the bath/shower. The tiles could do with replacing/updating.

I miss homemade poridge and fresh juice and some fresh vegetables or fruit.

There were some small details such as a filled crack in the door but overall it was in very good condition.

Comms before arrival were excellent as we had complicated plans. Assistance with bags on arrival much appreciated. Room was well-equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was really good - surpassed expectations. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Really recommend this place to others.

We loved staying at the Priory, from the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. Natalie and her team were excellent and made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. It was extremely hot and Natalie found a fan to keep our young Grandson cool. The family room was ideal and our double room very comfortable and clean. The atmosphere made us feel right at home. We will be back!

Very friendly manager and staff . Family suite was bigger than my expectations and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast good value and excellent food and drinks in a traditional English old pub setting. Lovely country garden atmosphere in the beer garden.

Seat cushions in the beer garden seats would be more comfortable but this comment is only a suggestion!
