Nice and handy for town.
£7:14 for one cappuccino. Ouch. Too expensive.
The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable The breakfast was amazing
Lovely hotel
Nothing
Very comfortable room, staff very friendly and helpful. Great location too.
Clean and well maintained.
Great location , comfortable
Smell in corridors
The bathroom was not great. It really smelled of mould.
Lovely overall but bathroom tired & needs refurb & back corridors smelt a bit mouldy
The superior room was decorated in a delightful way and the room was a good size. Right in the centre of a lovely village
Our room was directly opposite other rooms. There was seating outside each room with less than a meter in between. Therefore very little privacy and we had to keep curtains shut most of the time. Parking is difficult and not nearby. The restaurant had average food and very slow service Although there is outside seating there is no real garden.
Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, comfortable room.
Breakfast not good value.
Everything was perfect!
There was nothing to dislike, it was an amazing place to stay.
Convenient location
Central location , traditional hotel with nice features
No parking on site , breakfast quite expensive
It was quintessential Tetbury.
The room we stayed? (7) Shattered mirror bath panel. Also damaged sink mirror. Breakfast £22 each? It wasn’t worth the money. Parking should at least be taken off the stay as goodwill and gesture.
Traditional pub hotel
All good squeaky stairs
Lovely hotel to stay in. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. Food was to the highest standard.
The location is great as we have stayed there before so we knew where it was in relation to visiting family
The throw on the bed was dirty, the shower mat had also got a stain on it. The pillows and duvet were very substandard for the cost of the room. Whilst having a shower the water just stopped and never came back on for a couple of minutes. If i had paid £100 for the stay i would have expected what i got, but at £287 for one night you expect a few luxuries that this room didn't have. If offered room 14 turn it down. We did have a drink in the garden and the new rooms downstairs looked really nice.
Well-kept and tidy, and a good location to stay at and see the Cotswolds towns. Biscuits, tea and coffee provided in the room.
The shower takes its time to drain due to being old.
Food in the restaurant was great. Staff were extremely friendly and gave us a dog bed and bowl for my puppy.
The window next to the bed was rattling annoyingly all night.
Excellent location. Bedroom was comfortable and clean and the service was very good
Comfortable, clean and with everything that we needed.
Lack of parking but appreciate it is in the centre of town.
La cama es muy cómoda y la decoración es preciosa. Hay un supermercado justo al lado, el alojamiento tiene restaurante
No tienen parking
Friendly staff, good room, good location.
The room was quite a hike from reception but thankfully the rear emergency exit was being used . This took us straight to the patio area. All in all a good hotel with good staff. No parking at the hotel. Nearby parking only short stay 3 hours max. Travel light / long stay car park a good walk.
Long walk for long stay parking. Another long walk to our room.
Lovely hotel Great staff
Nothing
Everything was nice, good value for money and very comfortable bed. bathroom could have been a bit better but considering the price I have no complaints.
bathroom menu for dinner
Staff were very lovely, chatty and friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was up two flights of stairs which would normally be okay but I had a very old dog with me and had to carry him each time. Menu was quite limited but lots of places to eat nearby.
Posizione
Colazione scarsa. Camera piccolissima e materasso molle. Bagno un po’ datato con vasca rovinata Stanza sopra la ventola di aspirazione della cucina quindi rumorosa. Sinceramente non lo consiglio
Camera letti vista posizione arredi

Room was excellent
Lack of information about the price of breakfast until we enter the dinning room on Sunday morning, Im sorry breakfasts at Airports are extortionate but you get a pint each with breakast for two at about £44, to be told breakfast at a small hotel for 2 people is going to cost £50 is extortionate. No we didnt eant breakast at the hotel but an excellent cafe down the road.
Nel centro di Tetbury, struttura accogliente con ampio e piacevole spazio all’aperto.

Location , smart and stylish interior
The location was fantastic
Understandably as the weather is so hot the room was beyond uncomfortable. I noticed that other rooms had fans in the door ways with the doors open to try and cool down the rooms but I am not sure that has happened in the room I was in. Having ventured downstairs to the bar for a drink i asked to sit in the air conditioned part of the restaurant to cool down and were refused as I was only buying drinks at the time and they had 3 tables booked in for dinner. At the time i would have been the only person in the restaurant and would have happily moved had they needed the table or indeed stayed for dinner. In addition the lock on my bedroom door was temperamental and there was a knack to getting it to lock, but as a single woman staying on my own it concerned me enough to mention it to staff. The manager who had refused us a table in the air conditioning also dismissed my worried out of hand. This and the heat led to an uncomfortable stay and little sleep. I would implore the gentleman manager to have a think about making his customers feel safe and comfortable. It was a complete let down. I have to say though the staff on reception the following morning were very lovely.
Location. The hotel has a lovely feel about it and outside space
Location was great, room decor was well thought out
No parking, but that wasn’t the fault of the hotel, just how it is with these central town old inns.
Convenient
Good position in town, helpful staff
Lack of aircon Room was above outdoor communal area so quite noisy Bathroom would benefit from a grab rail in room 6
Card only , all the other pubs took cash .
Posizione ottima
La mancanza dell’ascensore e il coattivo odore al primo piano
We spent two nights staying. Bedroom was very nicely turned out. Big bathroom and bed. Staff were very friendly on reception and on the bar. We did not have breakfast or eat at their facilities, but what we saw it looked nice. We did however, enjoying sitting in the outdoor courtyard with a coffee. Location is great if you’re exploring Tetbury.
Small feedback would be the room was very warm, and the room only had one small fan. However, with the heat the UK has been experiencing, I can understand why it is so warm.
Dominic was phenomenal
It wasn't very clean
The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond multiple times to make our stay comfortable
The bedroom we stayed in wasn't the most comfortable, but it was good value for money and served us well for our short stay
Lovely hotel. Great staff
Nothing
It was centrally located and very comfortable
Comfortable rooms Staff very nice Food was delicious

Very small room and narrow stairway .
Comfortable and spacious room. Excellent staff operating in a low staff / emergency situation on the day we were there. Exceptional customer service. Lovely garden. All in all a lovely hotel.
The restaurant choice was good although breakfast one morning was poorly staffed
Room 14 the entry was dark and even with the lights on, we needed our phone torches to see inside the cupboard.
great food and garden
Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable and beautiful back garden. The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly. Stuart, the manager, in particular went above and beyond!
The food in the restaurant was excellent
No closet in the bedroom
The location is perfect
The room was quite cramped and the bathroom a little shabby for a hotel in this price bracket
Lovely hotel Great staff
Nothing
Excellent location, and great staff . Truly dog friendly
Nothing not to like
The room was very quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly
It was very central and the courtyard was excellent.
The bed was very old and uncomfortable. We had to prop the window open with a block of wood.
Very nice room, good food and staff was very friendly.
No parking - but ultimately it wasn’t far to park in a public parking - just a bit hard to drag the luggage.
Lovely rooms, perfect location
Poor staff service Room £186 no breakfast although we had requested breakfast on booking £50 for two dogs is very steep The breakfast was £22 per person for a 1 Burnt sausage 1 over cooked egg A tea spoon of beans A mushroom A oil filled hash brown No toast Nothing If you requested toast That was an extra £13 as that was then considered a continental breakfast on top! For toast.. So £35 for the worst food ever! Coffees ordered never arrived but charged, also every one night stay was being told: Ough you never paid for breakfast as we where informed then charged unbelievable prices for the worst breakfast Foreign visits being informed breakfast only paid for two guest not four No breakfast included What a scam Absolutely disgusting behaviour Would give this place no stars as they are crocks
The breakfast was good, a varied selection but a bit expensive The location was central, the room clean and comfortable, friendly staff, but very overstretched.
Check-in….the manager was dealing with a complaint from another customer, and we were kept waiting approximately 20 mins, then when we were shown to our room it wasn’t what we had booked…we had requested a premium double with single beds, the room had a standard double with no option to alter it. The manager was very much under pressure, but he did manage to accommodate us,as a customer who had taken a family room on a late booking agreed to swap, which was a suitable arrangement for all of us.However the managerhad not received the request for single beds from booking.com…I will be taking this matter further.
Great location Lovely hotel

Fine
Very very hot room. Fans useless
The room was decorated to a high standard, fitted with air conditioning (Room 23) Tea and coffee facilities were provided, HairDryer plus bathroom items. Rooms were quiet. Lovley touch was the Bistro set on a small patio area outside each room, which was for private use for guests staying in that particular room. Beds can be made twin or double.
If I had to pick a fault: There was no refrigerator in the room to store Milk or water No bottled water was provided
Comfy room well appointed in a central location .
Unfortunately the hot weather had a negative effect on our stay as the fan provided wasn’t really effective
The staff were helpful and friendly. It was quiet until morning traffic.
The pictures were better than reality. We arrived in the heatwave and stayed in room 16. There was no AC, the windows dont open fully. The fans provided were pathetic, made zero difference. The duvets were 10.2 tog. The room temperature in the mid 30,s . The staffs flats were above and the smell of their cooking was present in hallway and room. We had to wet our towels as coolants. The AC in the restaurant broken and the outside seating area at the back really pleasant but faced their huge bins which were constantly being filled. A screen could have made this more pleasant. No water bottles in room . The reception whilst looking pleasant smells of stale beer quite unpleasant.
the staff were rearly helpful. and the room was beautiful. very central.
shame they don't take cash.
Very nice place, great food
Na
It was unusual but lively
The charge of one cider and a gin and tonic was £24.
Welcoming staff and helpful re us eating outside in the courtyard even though a long walk for them

Lovely Hotel and Bar. The staff is so friendly. Great location in the Town. Recommend. 🫶😘
Location
Lack of car parking. Accommodation small and cramped. Not a great deal of storage.
All good no complaints only disappointment my dog was only allowed in the small room booked so my partner and I had to sleep in the small room while my son had the big room.
Quirky old coach house come pub
Card only payments customers should choose how they want to pay
Cosy, comfortable, friendly staff. The location was great for the great tythe barn where the wedding we were attending was.
We popped here for lunch before returning home to S. Wales. The food and service was great. Special thanks to one of the bar staff, Holly. She was lovely and so polite.
Nice big comfy bed, center of town Very pleasant and accommodating staff
Seems to the norm now but no mini fridge in room
Central clean hotel, Great bed. Friendly staff.
Nothing
We weren’t staying at the hotel but ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was disappointing and our waitress was rude/unpleasant when I politely explained the problems. As you have to pay when ordering food, the bill is paid so neither the waitress nor her supervisor cared that we were unhappy.
I stayed one night at the Ormond Hotel, The staff were all so friendly throughout my stay. When I arrived the guy at Reception was busy on the phone with someone making a booking, instead of me having to wait until he had finished the call another member of staff, came to check me in, I believe her name was Jordan? I was shown to my room, and given a little tour (remote controls explained etc) which was a nice personal touch. My room was off the courtyard and was beautiful and because the courtyard and outside area looked so pretty I immediately went outside to make a video to send home, but I locked myself out of my room! This wasn't a problem, I went back to the reception/bar and Jordan immediately got the master key and let me back in. I ate in the Bistro and the meal was superb. The young waitress was so helpful and friendly, sadly I didn't get her name, but she was lovely and put me at ease, being on my own. The Reception, Bar, Bistro, outside area and my room were all beautifully decorated to a high standard. My room was lovely, however there was some peeling paint in the corner of the bathroom and a couple of marks on the wall by the bed which, given the high standard of decor did let it down a bit. I also couldn't see that there was a socket for the hairdryer by the big mirror, unless I wanted to crawl underneath the chest of drawers with the tea and coffee tray on. I used the socket at the desk and the art installation mirrors, but that wasn't ideal, so a socket by the mirror would help. The bed was so comfortable as well. I would definitely choose the Ormond if I return to Tetbury again and would recommend. Thank you to all the staff who made me feel so welcome, it was a very enjoyable stay 😊
Location, biscuits, mirrors, pillows, decor, bed was comfy if a little narrow for a queen..
Dark rown stain marks on the hand towel, no hot water for shower, noisy, drunk bar guests, small room, creaky floors and doors, tiny window so room was dark. It was not worth £144 per night, not enough non decaf coffee, not enough plug points without unplugging the lamps. Advised a staff member of the issues but he didn’t really know what to say, just said it was an “old hotel so…” That doesn’t really explain why I had brown stains on my towels and some of the other things. I didn’t really think it an adequate response. Unfortunately there was one at the reception to speak to about the issues. The only people around were in the bar and they kept saying “we work in the bar so…”
The hotel generally was fine and the bar sensibly priced.
The breakfast was overpriced and not very good
Location and old world charm
Shabby. Fan not working in bathroom. Insufficient hangers.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean spacious room. Dog friendly
The wife and I stayed for one night and had a very enjoyable time. The evening meal was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

First impressions were good, the entrance is nicely presented and the bar area is nice. The location is very good. Public Parking is not too far and not too expensive.
The room wasn't as nice as the images and we could hear EVERYTHING from the room below The bedside lamps didn't work There was nobody to check us out when we left so we couldn't pass on any feedback. There are no vegan options for food - when we asked a member of staff they said they would ask the chef but then didn't come back to us. When we asked again later we were told the chef could do eggs 🙄 or porridge - we did not eat breakfast £22 each for breakfast is very expensive! There was minor black mould in the bedroom.
Comfortable and clean room. A pleasant stay. Thank you
We had a lovely stay at the Ormond Hotel in Tetbury. The room was lovely, very stylish and welcoming. Great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and professional and we would like to especially thank the lady who helped us with finding transport to Highgrove and the lovely Julia who went above and beyond to help us. Would highly recommend.
Lovely character property, very centrally located in Tetbury. Parking wasnt an issue for us and was close by. Room interesting decoration
Bathroom could do with an update but this was nothing major
great breakfast/ great staff friendly and helpful
our initial room bathroom terrible smell from somewhere this was rectified quickly and we were given another room which was very nice just glad they had a spare room available or it cold have been a problem
Lovely hotel and room situated smack in the middle of Tetbury. Food was good. Good value for money but bar prices a little high - although that is everywhere nowadays! Room lovely and right on the yard. Even though in the middle of town it was quiet at night. Could do with just upping the standard of little things like the towels and cups and make sure the duvet was the right size for the bed!! Not a problem as it was hot!! Staff very polite, friendly and helpful - really lovely!
Clean comfortable room, fan in room, on very hot day, which was welcome.
It's a pity the Ormond has no parking. But I was expecting that. I thought the bath towel was a bit small. Coffee at breakfast was not particularly good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Dinner was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Outdoor seating area was nice.
I'm anti - smoking but it was made worse because the young people smoking had no ash trays so left their cigarette ends on the table.
