Provider-sourced guest reviews.
What a fantastic place! The staff were super friendly, accommodating, and real. The food and drinks were top-notch. The rooms were beautiful. And, the views were the best in PV. It's quiet and away from the noise and hustle of downtown PV, yet only a few minutes away by Taxi or Uber, both which are easy to call, and all drivers know this place. If you're looking for an oasis of peace in PV, this is it. I will definitely recommend Grand Miramar to anyone that goes to PV.
It had an amazing view and the staff was beyond amazing.
Very friendly staff, clean facility, breathtaking views, generous breakfast
Not walkable to the beach, but with 4 pool options we didn’t mind.
Very loud construction right outside our window and even tho resort was half full they refused to move us. This happened twice! Will never go to Grand Miramar again.
Great amenities, friendly staff, amazing views.
The hotel/hot tub hours were very limiting.
Location and view
Limited food options for dinner and breakfast. Slow service.
Fabulous place to stay. Check-in was quick and easy. Property is beautiful with plentiful bougainvillea and stunning views. All staff are friendly, professional and super accommodating. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with lots of variety, Eugenia restaurant excellent. Pools are well maintained with excellent food & drink service. We highly recommend this resort. Are already planning a return visit.
We have been coming to the Grand Miramar for about 10 years. Everything about the hotel is quality. The rooms and service are especially nice. The choice of pools is great. Unfortunately, on a Saturday night a local disco band is playing which ruins the whole experience of this wonderful which use to be quite hotel. Don’t want the loud Mexico experience at a boutique hotel.
El desayuno muy rico y hermosas vistas
The property is amazing. The views are outstanding! The staff and service are exceptional. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and nothing was an issue. The room was huge and with 4 pools the outside areas never seemed crowded. Breakfast was great. From the reviews we thought the cobblestone road and waking distance from the beach and town might be an issue but we walked down in less than 10mins and took an uber back up hill which was on average 60pesos. Playa Conchas Chinas is lovely a beach and the small bar Palapa Conchas Beach which is right on the beach is worth a stop for the best margaritas and to take in the view.
Nothing.
Vue, piscines chauffées, lit confortable.
Pas de services à proximité (dépanneur, boutiques etc)
What a lovely place to holiday! The resort is first class. It is so quiet and relaxing and the service is outstanding. The grounds are so clean and beautiful and there are probably more staff than guests. No need to go and save chairs around the pool as there are so many pools and lounge chairs. The food is so good, both the buffet breakfast (with eggs to order) and the rooftop restaurant. The view is next to none. It is a bit of a hike to town but we enjoyed the walk, and it is worth getting a lift back up (easy to get an uber/taxi). Will definitely stay here again.
Grand Miramar was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The property is beautiful, quiet, and incredibly clean, such a romantic setting. The view is panoramic and can be viewed from every inch of their property! Our room was huge, and we especially loved spending mornings and evenings out on the deck watching the sunsets. The pools were refreshing and very well maintained, with super comfortable lounge chairs. The robs, the linens, the towels are perfectly white and great quality! Breakfast was delicious with lots of great options, and the drinks were excellent too. What really stood out was the staff, they were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It truly made the experience feel top notch. If you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway, this is absolutely the place. We took a cab into Zona Romántica once a day (about $8 USD each way plus tip), which was easy and convenient. The pink flowers around the property, even the ones drifting into the pools, made everything feel even more beautiful. It was honestly breathtaking. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying here!💕
Want to thank MARIO, LUIS, ALBERTO, and SALVADOR for being so helpful and kind. It was our second time staying there, and we will definitely be back. Your friends from Texas
We absolutely LOVED Grand Miramar. We returned from Mexico after the shutdown in PV due to the fires and smoke, and violence set off by the cartel. We were on "shelter in place" lockdown at Grand Miramar for 4 days. The workers and tourists staying at Grand Miramar were unable to leave the hotel property. The hotel staff was AMAZING! The staff never stopped working around the clock. The hotel staff had exceptionally positive attitudes while working continuously around the clock during a stressful, unexpected shutdown situation. As far as the location goes, we loved it. The hotel's location has a million-dollar view from its rooftop pool/restaurant. We liked being off the beaten path a bit and found it very convenient to go by taxi/Uber into town with only a 5-minute ride to the center of PV. The luggage and transportation staff who work the front entry were the BEST. I'd like to call out special attention to Mario, Luis, Alberto, and especially our favorite Salvador!!! The wait staff in the restaurant was also exceptional. We hope to go back soon once things settle down politically. The rooms and hotel are a bit dated, however the size of the grand junior suite was spacious and very, very clean.
Room was amazing, a veritable apartment; View was incredible; Breakfast buffet was exceptional; staff were very friendly and helpful; very quiet beautiful location
Ride in taxis up and down the cobblestones up to the hotel
I’ve been coming to the grand Miramar for the past three years everybody there is so kind and nice and pleasant. I especially have to complement the guys out front, belt, boys, who greet us as we come and go. I especially like Mario, Lewis, Alberto, and Salvador . They remember me each year and are so happy to see me and so nice. We always talk as we’re coming and going and getting calves and they’re just wonderful employees. They need to be told so and recognized they’re amazing. The people who work the breakfast are also lovely and also nice. They’re so friendly and kind and it’s so nice to be remembered from year to year love the grand Miramar. I have to say I missed Raul known as okey-dokey. It was sad to see him gone he added so much to the pool side.
Beautiful property with amazing views! Very friendly staff.
It’s quite far away from PV. Need taxis most often than we liked. Breakfast crew was a little confused some mornings.🤷🏻♂️
Staff, all of them. Breakfast.
We had over 100 family members & friends who stayed here for an offsite wedding. The multiple pools allowed for relaxing time together, and the spaciousness of some of the rooms permitted informal social gatherings. We particularly enjoyed the swim-up bar and the rooftop infinity pool. The poolside service was excellent. The views were spectacular. We stayed for 7 nights, so we got to know the place & the staff. A drawback was not being able to walk to the beach or into town as we had done when we were in the area earlier in the year. But this is where the concierge/bellboy staff (Salvador, Alberto, Luis, & Mario) shined. They quickly arranged Uber or taxi rides, made restaurant suggestions & reservations and enthusiastically helped however they could… and with humor and a smile. It was evident that they enjoyed their jobs. They felt like friends by the end of our stay… particularly, Salvador. We were happy with the cleanliness of our room, the force of the shower and control of water & room temperature. The bed was comfy & we could drink the water! The breakfast buffet was another good place to get together and enjoy a good variety of quality food. A very hard-working staff accommodated special requests and kept things moving to keep waiting to a minimum.
Location, room, pools, hot tubs, room furnishings, ease of checkout, jungle, common areas, breakfast
Terrible wi fi in room problems, awful useless TVs, no info in room on hotel, wireless, tv or hotel layout. Very disturbing to see this hotel provide zero information about anything in the room or Lobby. Food was over prepared, just okay, disappointing.
Enjoyed this hotel. The staff is very kind all around, too many to name specifically in one review, but the bellmen Alvarez y Salvador were particularly friendly and effective.
Overall an excellent experience, great food and drinks and great service. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! The views are incredible and nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of PV. Thank you to Salvador and his team at the concierge desk for taking great care of us. The spa was fantastic and we received caring and personal service. Definitely will come back again
The hotel was absolutely breathtaking views excellent restaurant very, very clean. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff ranging from the doorman to the waitresses and waiters. I will definitely be going back there again.
This is a real time review as are here now. We have been to most locations in Mexico as well as the Caribbean and Mediterranean. This is by far our favourite hotel. Our room is huge and beautifully decorated. The air conditioning is perfect! Everyone here works so hard to make us happy. The employees go out of their way for us. Yes… it is off the beaten path but it is a beautiful path full of cobblestone streets and quaint villas. 10 minutes to the Malecon and Zona Romantica by taxi. The food is fabulous and the drinks are generous. The best part is the view!! Uncomparable! We are already planning to come back! Thank you to everyone who works here!!!!
Everyone on staff here was so friendly and welcoming. We loved Abel, who was always so warm and helpful to us. He was by far the nicest and kindest professional ive ever met while traveling. Spa is pretty and food is good. The hotel was really pretty and affordable compared to prices where we live in CA. I’d go back to just for such warm hospitality!
I stayed at the Miramar in Puerto Vallarta from December 31 to January 5, and overall the experience did not live up to its five-star branding. The biggest issue was basic consistency. Bottled water was not replenished daily, and on multiple occasions we had to purchase water ourselves despite raising it with staff. For a hotel at this price point, that should not be an issue. The Wi-Fi was also unreliable throughout the property, often forcing me to rely on my own data for internet access. Check-in and reservation handling were disorganized. We were told ahead of arrival that we could extend our stay at the same rate, but upon arrival the front desk had no record of this and would not honor the agreed rate. I ultimately had to rebook the extra night through Expedia to secure the price. While the outdoor spaces, especially the rooftop pool, are nice, the rooms themselves are dated and do not feel five-star. The included breakfast was also underwhelming for a property of this caliber. Lastly, the hotel is far from downtown and requires taxis to get anywhere. Given the distance, a regularly scheduled shuttle into the city would be a welcome and expected amenity. The Miramar has potential, but service inconsistencies and outdated rooms make it hard to recommend at its current price point. With improvements, it could be much better, but for now it’s closer to a 3 star experience than five.
Exceptional Family Stay at Grand Miramar – Highly Recommend! We took our adult children (ages 23, 28, and 30) to the Grand Miramar for a Christmas and New Year’s vacation, and it was spectacular. Despite being used to typical "all-inclusive" vibes, our kids loved the quiet pool areas and didn't mind being off the ocean one bit. The Service: The staff truly made our stay perfect. Alam, our concierge, went above and beyond for our entire trip, and Victor (Manager) was incredibly professional and accommodating. Special thanks to Alberto and the bell staff for their constant smiles and help with logistics, like getting to the local pharmacy. Dining & Drinks: Abel, Jesus, and Maria provided friendly, attentive service during breakfast and dinner. Since we spent most of our time at the pool, we kept Sergio, Oscar, and Edgar busy all day—they were fantastic and never missed a beat with our drinks! Key Highlights: Atmosphere: The views from the 10th-floor restaurant and pools are unmatched. Celebrations: We celebrated a New Year’s Eve birthday, and the team made the poolside celebration absolutely perfect. Tip for Future Guests: While the food was great, we might skip the all-inclusive package next time to explore more dinner options in town via Uber. We have zero complaints and are already planning our return. If you're looking for world-class service and stunning views, don't miss this resort!
Gorgeous! The staff provided us with a room upgrade upon our arrival which was amazing. Love that the cafe opens early. Lots of pools! Rooftop restaurant is beautiful and loved that they had live music. Staff was friendly and informative.
Only thing I would change is having more attentive staff at the pool. No one ever came to offer getting food or drinks. We would have to go ask. I know this sounds minor, but I would have spent a lot more money if there was better pool service. Service was also really slow. But everyone was super friendly and kind!
The property had stunning views of the ocean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The distance from town, need to take Ubers or hotel shuttle, but with the view it is worth it.
Great hotel and staff . I have to thanks especially Alberto Luis for his outstanding service and kindness as well as Salvador Mario. Alberto was very professional and drove us with the shuttle a couple of time as well as Salvador. It made our stay more enjoyable knowing that if we wanted to take a ride to the center at 11am we had this option without waiting for a taxi or Uber ride. It was enjoyable speaking in English or Spanish with someone that knew the area well enough to give us some information. Alberto went above his duty to help us and should get a promotion for being such asset to this ressort :) We enjoy our stay because of people like him. The hotel was spotless with people always keeping the place need in room and out. My only critique was the food that didn’t meet my expectations. At Breakfast what was made was good but the choice were very little for someone like me that didn’t eat meat or poultry or shellfish. I wish they had a bigger variety vegetarian and fish options…like smoked salmon like we had in other resort …berries…variety of bread…croissants…fruit like apple …the pictures I saw online didn’t match what they serve at the restaurant or breakfast buffet. So a bit disappointed . We went one time to the restaurant that was also very overrated….that why we just went once. I order room services some French fry supposed to be served with truffle mayonnaise…nothing like that they came with package mayonnaise the type they served at fast-food place. The bell boy was nice enough to come back with mayonnaise probably from a jar and something he called truffle oil…plus what they charged was not at all the same as in the room service menu…I order a plain Cesar salade but came with piece of chicken…so the server was again nice enough to bring me a plain salade…I didn’t want to venture for anything else. The bell boy was very nice about it…that made a difference in my experience and maybe one of the reason I may return to that resort. For some of the service.
We loved this hotel!! Having stayed at numerous overcrowded noisy hotels on and off the beaches in the past, this hotel provided us a truly unique and relaxing experience. It is a fabulous location if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic facility in Conchas Chinas (PV’s version of Beverly Hills) with a spectacular view. The back of the hotel is nestled amidst the beautiful jungle and the front has an incredible view of the entire Banderas Bay. Yes, this hotel is at the highest point in Conchas Chinas that allows for the incredible view and is a downhill walk to the main road and Conchas Chinas beach (use shortcut back of pool). It is an additional 15 min walk to Playa Los Muertos/Romantic Zone. For this unique experience, we did not mind using taxis/Uber more than walking back to the hotel. We had easy access to both beaches and quiet hotel pools. The set price of a Taxi to/from the Romantic Zone was 100 pesos/$5.00. Thanks to the great Welcoming Team, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a taxi. We were very impressed with the size and comfort of our Junior Suite on the 7th flr. We loved the large kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area and balcony. The refrigerator kept our items extremely cold. The bedding was very comfortable. When it came to staff, we experienced 5 star service from the Front Desk and the Welcoming Team. Special recognition to Salvador, Luis, Alberto, and Mario. They provided constant professional, friendly assistance and recommendations always with a smile. We enjoyed each of their pools for what they provide, but the 10th flr pool was our favorite for the best view. This facility would make a beautiful wedding venue. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which provided an array of hot, cold and sweet dishes. We so enjoyed this special hotel rather than the often congested beachfront hotels. We highly recommend this hotel for its unique and pleasant experience.
I just stayed here four nights and am very disappointed. The hotel is nice (clean, maintained, some beautiful decor and finishes). However, the location is so extremely inconvenient. It’s nowhere near a beach, up a truly steep & winding cobblestone road. You can walk down the road (approx 10 minutes) & you’ll arrive at a highway that has no shoulder. From there, it’s a dangerous walk (maybe 30 min) into PV or you can wait for a local bus. You will be trapped here unless you don’t mind taking taxis constantly to and from. To me, the cost and hassle were not worth it. The restaurant is average. The pools are average. I upgraded to a master bedroom and the room was very nice. However, I never sat on the balcony or took a bath in the outdoor tub due to noise. There is a house below the hotel with 2-3 small dogs that never stopped barking & at night, there was always a loud party / music below in addition to the yapping dogs. The noise was stressful to me and the opposite of relaxing. I met a couple on a lower floor (2nd) and they couldn’t hear the barking dogs, so maybe stay on a lower floor. As for the breakfast that was included in my stay? It was only included if I sat and ate in the restaurant. I really don’t enjoy doing that for bfast and had to pay to get it to-go. All in all, I regret staying here. I didn’t get any value for my money (it was expensive) and didn’t get to explore PV in any meaningful manner and at the same time, didn’t enjoy staying at the hotel. I feel like I wasted 4 days of my vacation.
Everything
Nothing
Love the people who make it happen there .. Abel, Jorge,Alberto, Salvador,Luigi, and Mario make your trip wonderful and memorable
We booked two standard deluxe rooms at this hotel, and there were three people in our party. Although the resort is off the beaten path, the views are stunning. However, customer service (specifically the front desk staff) is severely lacking for this caliber of hotel and not commensurate with their AAA 4-diamond rating. When we checked in and mentioned we were celebrating my husband’s birthday that day, there was no acknowledgment other than them trying to upsell us in their highest room category. We respectfully declined, so they placed us on the first floor near the elevator with an obstructed view of the ocean even though there were other rooms available on higher floors. It’s important to note that we generally tip well, but it’s pretty tacky for the staff to pressure us into leaving tip at the breakfast buffet. We emphasized to that random server that we already handed cash to our specific server as tip. Check-out time is 11am and they were also inflexible with grating our request to check out at 12pm even though we only needed one of the two rooms for ex extra hour. I understand the hotel’s response-such requests are based on availability, but it seems that the mantra of this hotel is, No, no can do, absolutely not, but where’s the tip. Stay elsewhere if customer service is important to you.
Spent Christmas and New Year here with our kids and grandkids this year. The hotel did not disappoint. Our family had a wonderful time enjoying the breakfast, cocktails, food and the pools at this beautiful property. The rooms are clean and the property is well maintained. A few of the days the main pool was a bit too warm. The staff is what makes this property stand out. At the front of the house, Alberto,Salvador,Luis and Mario took care of all of our needs. In the dining room Able, Jorge and the rest of the staff are amazing. We will be back in February for another stay. Thanks to all of the staff for making our holiday memorable.
This was our third year staying at the Grand Miramar, and once again it was a fantastic experience. We spent 14 days here and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff is always attentive and seems to anticipate our needs at every turn. The restaurant service was outstanding with special thanks to Abel Hernández and his entire crew, especially Reyna, Jorge, Jesús, María, and Alejandra. The bell staff was wonderful as well: thank you to Alberto, Salvador, Mario, and Luis for being so friendly and helpful every day. And a big thank-you to Ángela Pelayo at the front desk for her warmth and professionalism. Beautiful property, incredible views, comfortable rooms, and truly memorable service — it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. A definite 5-star stay!
We try to stay there whenever we are in Puerto Vallarta as it is just far enough away from the crowds, and located on the mountain, but a very short taxi ride to the center. The view is spectacular and the pools are just the right temperature. I think it is one of the best breakfasts in town and it's included in our room. Victor, the manager was so helpful and kind. We have been staying there for years, and we will continue each tine we are in PV.
This is the most beautiful and amazing place I've ever stayed and the staff are all so caring and helpful. The housekeeper was there everyday to make the room fresh and clean. The breakfast buffet was so good with so much food to choose from. The crew that greeted us there every morning were always running to serve people with a smile. I just can't say enough about the grand Miramar. Louis, Salvador and Alberto took care of all our taxi calls and ran the free shuttle to town everyday when we wanted it. The beauty of this place is beyond a 5 star with the pools, hot tub and all the beautiful flowers everywhere. We will definitely come back again.
I was woke up a couple nights from people talking loud in the hallway or slamming the door.
We normally do not like big resorts, but Grand Miramar was a pleasant exception. The view of the ocean is unparalleled here. The downtown is 10 min away by taxi. But what was the most memorable was the service and hospitality. The bellboys are always on top of things: Salvador, Mario, and Luis. We had a beautiful stay thanks to them.
Everything was lovely/ hotel is beautiful with gorgeous view overlooking the ocean / staff very attentive and willing to asssist/ room was gorgeous with ocean view suite with jacuzzi / pools clean and warm
As avid all inclusive resort goers, Grand Miramar was our first adventure away from AIs in Mexico. Why didn’t we do this sooner? What a lovely, enjoyable, relaxing, and best of all-affordable place to go for a getaway. We enjoyed everything about this place. The breakfast buffet was 10/10 every morning and the poolside servers and bartenders are attentive and friendly. Luis and Salvador were always ready to help or have a chat with a smile. We are pool/read a book/have a drink/take in the view people, so the distance from the beach didn’t bother us. Grand Miramar’s pools, views, and service were all we needed. We had a corner suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony- worth every cent! Comfortable and spacious but still feels cozy, insane views. Go here!
We’ve been here many times. While this is not an inexpensive place, it just a fraction of the cost of many of the luxury places in Vallarta. The staff is wonderful. A great breakfast is included. It is at the top of the exclusive Las Conchas neighborhood with spectacular views of the Bahía de Banderas. It is quiet with every amenity. It’s a 100 peso cab ride to the Zona Romántica.
I recently stayed at the Grand Miramar over the week of American Thanksgiving for a total of 10 nights, and I will say it was one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve ever been on. The hotel is secluded, but with that comes peace and quiet. I enjoyed the spa for a massage, a hydrotherapy session, and a float session all of which were fantastic. I have to say, the staff at this property is top-notch and truly what makes it a 5-star experience. I enjoyed the pool every day that I was there. By the second day, the staff had learned what I liked, and as soon as they saw me, they would ask if I was ready for one. They were always walking around to see if guests needed anything. As for the location, it’s up in the hills, which keeps you away from the hustle and bustle. Anytime I needed to go somewhere which was daily I used Uber. It was never expensive, and drivers always arrived in under 10 minutes. All the staff members are willing to help with anything they can. I wish I knew the gentleman’s name who worked in the pool area because he was phenomenal at his job. I ordered room service on a couple of occasions, and it was decent exactly what you would expect from room service. I loved this property so much that I’m already looking to see when I can visit again.
This place is awesome. One of the hidden jewels in Puerto Vallarta. The service is exceptional and the staff (Alberti, Mario, Salvador, Luis) was amazing. We had a medical emergency during our stay and they took care of us like family. We are definitely coming back!!!
The views, the spaciousness, the efforts of staff, the beauty of the property.
Not really accessible to people with disabilities. No roll on showers, despite claims. Even bathrooms in public areas were too small to close a door if you were using a walker or wheelchair.
Our two-week stay at the Grand Miramar was lovely. The location and view is amazing and we enjoyed the pools and restaurants. Their attention to cleanliness at the hotel, including the common areas and rooms were also appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and the servers and kitchen staff were friendly and accommodating. We also wanted to give a special shout out to the staff at the front. Salvador, Alberto, Luis and Mario were such a great first impression to the hotel. Their friendly smiles and great conversations made us feel special every day. We really enjoyed meeting every one of them. They were always willing to help with any of our questions or requests. The front desk was a bit of a challenge for us. When our room was not cleaned one day, they suggested we had left our "do not disturb sign" on the door, instead of them taking blame. Also, when my cousins checked out of their room next to ours, they were charged MXN $1000.00 for a broken wine glass, and when they objected to this charge it was brought down to MXN $250.00. After a long discussion, they did not have to pay this, but it left all of us with a bad taste. The staff at the front desk even told them (and I was there to witness this) that they would be charged if a glass was broken in the restaurant. As we stayed at the hotel longer than my cousins, I used cheap plastic glasses for the rest of my stay.
The grand Miramar was an excellent experience! The view is beautiful from every room in the hotel, and the hotel itself is beautiful as well. My now fiancée worked with staff to plan a romantic dinner to propose on a private rooftop, which was an unforgettable experience! All of the staff were fantastic, Mario, Luis, Salvador and Alberto were extremely helpful and made sure we were well taken care of.
This place took our breath away when we first saw it with my hubby!!! I felt like we suddenly stepped into a dreamworld!!! It is a gorgeous property!!! Its architecture and location high up on a side of the mountain with a jungle behind it and vast views of the ocean in front are just spectacular!!! It does need some renovation and good persistent maintenance work though, but that’s always inevitable!!! Our master suite was specious, comfortable and luxurious!!! We absolutely couldn’t get enough of the jaw-dropping views from our private terrace with a jacuzzi!!! There were bougainvillea flowers all around and over and we could regularly see Parrots, Magnificent Frigate birds and Vultures flying by and hear other birds calling each other including the Common Pauraque!!! This undoubtedly was the highlight for us!!! Unfortunately the downside we didn’t expect and know about was the big ugly just another hotel construction, seemingly abandoned quite some time ago and right next to us! Moreover it was also almost as tall! So, it was entirely blocking the view of the Playa de Los Muertos and PV! Otherwise we would have had a 180 degree views! Our main bedroom windows and a smaller terrace were facing the structure just a few feet away. I honestly felt like I could touch it. So we kept the curtains closed the whole time. This of course was not only very annoying, but also made us very unhappy and kinda reconsider our choice for booking! On the other hand, staff were very friendly and attentive!!! Special thanks to the helpful bellmen crew Salvador, Alberto and Ivis, front desk agent Serafin and the splendid customer service from the waitstaff!!! We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a view of the ocean!!! It was varied and the food was delicious!!! My favorite were the fresh fruits, the cottage cheese, the Pan de Muerto and the croissants!!! The hash browns our first morning were the best and the tastiest ones we both have had for a while!!! Being also able to order aside of the buffet was a very convenient option!!! The best touch for us was the little coffee/smoothie corner by the reception!!! Such a yummy Frappuccino!!! All the pools are beautiful, but the adults only rooftop infinity one definitely steals the show!!! They do close it very early though at 5pm to set up the restaurant for dinner! We had dinner there our first night and it was very romantic!!! However there weren’t enough options for vegetarians like us! We would appreciate more extensive menu options! All and all we had an amazing time and did not want to leave!!! We will be back!!! Best wishes and much love from Viktoria and Philip, the photographers from Alaska!!!
We had such a beautiful and wonderful time at the Grand Miramar! The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The view is breathtaking from anywhere on the property, being on top of the hill provides full views. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. Everyone was so kind and attentive. Alberto, Mario, Luis, and Salvador kept us safe in the front. They kept an eye on everyone’s coming and goings, they helped us order taxis and travel safely. They were always so helpful and provided a hand with bags and our baby. They brought us smiles and so much love. They told us stories and all the tips and tricks we need to navigate town. Simply outstanding service!
Great breakfast and the views were amazing. The upstairs pool was exceptional
The food at the restaurant is good but very expensive. It would be nice to have more variety and better food for dinner
We had our daughters wedding at the Grand Mir A Mar and it was fantastic. All the help was great and facility was beautiful. All of the food we ate was delicious and fresh. The people we interacted with the most went above and beyond. Especially Abel Hernandez, Reyna Perez, Alberto Alvarez, Salvador Mendoza, and Luis Guillen.
This was our first time in Mexico and this place really set the standard. Beautiful facility and the staff are second to none. They made us feel right at home and really made us feel like they cared for their guest. Actually tracked the taxis and ubers who took their guest out to town. The pools were clean and well cared for. Wait staff as well as the breakfast menu was ample and food was delicious. We attended a wedding and in my opinion this facility did a fantastic job. The food was good, the DJ was a class act. I would use this venue for my wedding, if I wasn’t already married, LOL I highly recommend this resort and we plan on returning and this is the place we’ll stay My whole family can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at the grand Miramar and the town is beautiful.
We arrived early and were greeted warmly while they finished up getting our room ready. The basil infused cold drink hit the spot while waiting. Lunch by the pool was relaxing. Room was ready by 1pm, Luis from Bell staff introduced us to our room explaining everything, and had a large bucket of Ice delivered within three minutes to the room. Very Clean room with ocean view. Daily maid service and turn down service, we spent two nights. Bell staff had Taxi waiting for us first night to the Marina for a Sunset Sailboat cruise, Ada Sailing, highly recommend. Breakfast buffet was impressive, varied each day. Someone overheard me about an omelette and the chef came out to take a custom order. Dinner second night in the Eugenia restaurant by the roof top pool was excellent. Second morning showed up 10 min before the breakfast opened looking for coffee, and instead of having to wait, Abel, head breakfast person, went out of his way and routine to take us to lobby and make us an espresso. Alberto, Salvador, Mario all hard working at Bell station. All of the staff friendly and customer service oriented. Beautiful setting and flowers high up in the hills by the jungle overlooking PV watching the hawks soar float over the bay was amazing. Hasta luego.
We had the best time at Grand Miramar, largely due to the excellent service. The Bell Boys Mario, Luis, Salvador, and Alberto were more than accommodating, offered us helpful tips, and had very kind communication every time we saw them. Breakfast was also incredible and also boasted excellent service (and food). Room/amenities were great as well.
We stayed at the Grand Miramar, Conchas China, Puerto Vallarta in late October/ 2025. We came to Puerto Vallarta 3 days early before checking into out condo in Playas Gemeles, electing to spend these 3 days at the Grand Miramar. Nothing but surprise and delight with our Grand Miramar experience. This is truly a luxury property! A one bedroom luxury suite (marble bath, luxury linens, extremely nice furnishings, studio type modern kitchen facilities) with wonderful ocean views from our own terrace, even a great breakfast...all a very reasonable price! Forget the mediocre big name beachfront properties on the Puerto Vallarta "hotel strip"...check out the Grand Miramar high on the hill in Conchas Chinas. During our stay we never left the property, spending out time enjoying the pools, the views, the restaurants and the hospitality. We give the Grand Miramar our highest recommendation! The staff was very warm, friendly, helpful and accommodating. A special shout out to Alberto, Luis, Mario and Salvador who were so gracious to us during our stay, making our Grand Miramar experience delightful and so very special. We'll be back for sure! Beautiful hotel, beautiful views and beautiful people! Special thanks to Salvador, Mario and Luis, very attentive to all our needs with the best attitude! Away from the chaos so it was perfect for us.
Comfortable clean spacious suite with great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.
Safe, and exclusive area. Beautiful scenery. Clean overall
The property is the highest point on the mountain its hard to get too and a scary ride up but the view is amazing
My husband and I stayed at this stunning hotel for 5 night... it was one of the BEST EXPERIENCES ever. I am a travel agent and very picky where we stay. We have traveled a LOT in our lifetime and this place is just mesmerizing. Greatest staff, so friendly, best breakfast ever... we can NOT say enough about this hotel. We will be back for sure and bring friends/family with us to experience it. Nothing but amazing, don't hesitate to book your stay here. We loved the quiet rooftop adult pool and spent most of our time there. The sunsets are like nothing you have ever seen every night!
Great Services, Clean and 10+ Customer Service.

Beautiful property
Rooftop pool closes early at 5pm
Luxurious feeling and more quiet
The room and view are beutiful! Left me speechless. Would come back . The room and service was excellent
Loved everything about this hotel. I’ve stayed in beachfront resorts but this was a different vibe, it felt like you were in a rainforest and completely at peace. GREAT OCEAN VIEW and very friendly staff. The room was very beautiful, everything was very luxurious. I most definitely recommend this resort to anyone, don’t look any further.
Beautiful Views but if you looking to shop this is not the place to stay!! Otherwise the views are breathtaking!!
Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean and comfortable. I wish the pools/ restaurants on the property were open longer but that’s really my only complaint.
Great food. Great views. Excellent staff
Nothing is in walking distance.
I stayed at the Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences and while the room was clean and the pools were nice (though oddly empty), the experience overall left a bad taste in my mouth. The main restaurant was closed during our stay, and while the food we could find was good, it was way overpriced. We booked the hotel at a discounted rate, which now feels like a bait-and-switch situation. Nowhere during booking was it made clear that a $250 deposit would be required and only accepted by credit card—not debit. This led to unnecessary stress upon check-in. The worst part, though, came at checkout. Staff inspected the room and then refused to return the deposit because of a harmless spray tan mark cover-up I’ve used for years to help with a skin condition. I explained multiple times that it comes out in the wash, but was completely dismissed. The woman checking me out wasn’t interested in listening or understanding. I was charged $25 and felt humiliated having to explain my condition in front of others. It turned what was supposed to be a romantic getaway into an upsetting and degrading exit. This experience felt discriminatory and deeply disappointing. For a place that calls itself “luxury,” I expected better—especially in how guests are treated with sensitivity and respect.
Great service and hospitality. Amazing location and serene tranquility which was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you to
Attentive staff, helpful, eager to assist, felt safe at all times. Property has beautiful views.
The location , the whole set up of property . Vastness with neatness and cleanness.

Absolutely amazing. Will be staying at the Grand Miramar whenever we vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Great service, amazing pools, fantastic gym, excellent food, etc. etc.
We loved everything about this place! The views were spectacular and the rooms were very nice. All of the staff was were extremely friendly and kind. Alberto provided exceptional service and took care of anything we needed. The other staff, Luis, Salvador, and Mario were also great. Francisco at the front desk was very professional and friendly.
