The view from our room was incredible, and the view from the main swimming pool was absolutely unreal.

It wasn't as clean as we expected. We found hairs in the shower, and most of the furniture looked quite old. For example, the fan was yellowed with age, which made the room feel outdated. Considering the price, we expected a much more modern room. There was an empty bottle of water left in the room, there wasn't a fridge, and no complimentary amenities were provided. Overall, it felt like you were mainly paying for the incredible view rather than the quality of the room itself.

Gorgeous view. Calm neighborhood. Clean spacious rooms. Nice staff. It's a very small hotel with few rooms so it never felt crowded or loud. The breakfast food was amazing as well.

The front door is unlocked with a physical key so we had to ask for somebody to let us in or out. I think it's also quite overpriced.

I booked this boutique hotel based off of amazing reviews and what looked like incredible panoramic views from the online photos. This place was BEYOND the reviews and photos!!! So quiet, so beautiful. The staff was incredible!!! Booked the penthouse for my wife and I for our 20 year anniversary for the private pool and incredible view. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. I was hesitant only that any place to go is an uber drive, but the kitchen was absolutely amazing! We ate at least once a day at the hotel and staff would deliver it straight to our room. Some of the best coconut shrimp I have ever had!! The view from the hotel is 180 degrees of pure ocean bliss. Another great part is the isolation. Soooo quiet and peaceful and serene. Photos online can’t capture the views and certainly can’t capture the incredible staff and how attentive they were. Staff made it feel like home.

The location was beautiful, nice, and quiet, however, not practical to walk to anything so taxi can get a little pricey. The atmosphere was very nice and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The coconut shrimp on dinner menu is amazing. Rooms are nice and clean. I would say a good value.

This beautiful resort has wrecked the way I do vacation going forward! It was even more gorgeous than the photos, if that’s possible. We went to celebrate my husband‘s birthday with friends and everything was just perfect! The entire staff was incredible! I highly recommend Villa Divina!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I booked through Expedia well in advance for my honeymoon, only to have the reservation suddenly canceled without any explanation. This was supposed to be a very special trip, and the hotel completely ruined it by not honoring my booking or providing a reason. This is highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values reliability and good service.

My friends and I stayed here for our bachelor/bachelorette party. The staff was impeccable and friendly. The value of the food here was amazing. Juan and the other chefs made some world class meals. The cost of the food is really just the cost of the groceries + a small 10% fee. We went to some nice restaurants in town and the food here is equally as good but a fraction of the price. You can request nearly any type of meal or food and they will make it for you. The view itself is ridiculous and beautiful from every room. There's something about eating food right next to 180 degree views of the ocean. You can really just relax and talk with your buddies while looking out at one of the best views in all of PV. The amount of space here is massive and you can use multiple spaces to hang out / party. There are a total of 4 jacuzzis and 1 swimming pool. 9 massive rooms (two of them being on the penthouse floor). Lupita and Omar took very good care of any concerns we had. They even ordered got us a karaoke machine and ordered ufc 319 for us to watch. Overall I would rate this place a 10 and would recommend anyone use this for their birthday party/bachelor party/celebration.

I booked the penthouse suite at Villa Divina Boutique Hotel expecting luxury. What I got was a total mess. • I wasn’t given room keys for several hours after check-in. • Staff tried to come in and clean the windows after I had already checked in—why wasn’t that done beforehand? • There was NO hot water the entire time I was there, even though I reported it repeatedly. • The Smart TV in the master bedroom didn’t work. • I found a hair in the refrigerator, and there were dead bugs all over the suite—completely disgusting. • While preparing food, I noticed hundreds of tiny translucent bugs on the kitchen counter that I could barely see—absolutely unacceptable. • The final straw? A worker was outside my windows while I was getting dressed—a total invasion of privacy. • On top of everything, I felt like I was in prison because you can’t leave the hotel without a worker letting you out. It was scary and weird. This stay was chaotic, dirty, and handled with zero professionalism. Management clearly didn’t care. For the price, this place is an absolute joke! Do not waste your money here. You’re better off anywhere else.

I really don’t want to leave this review, because I don’t want anyone else to know about this fantastic place. Without doubt, it the best hotel for the least money I’ve ever experienced, maybe even the best hotel without consideration for money. The room, the pool area, the neighborhood, the friendly employees, the food, the insane views, the spying iguana. Just wow. (Special thanks to Omar who was just the right amount of everything.) Go ahead and stay here, but just know it was ours first.

Beautiful property. Very attentive and friendly staff. We felt like celebrities for the week, a private chef, concierge and basically the only guest at the property during our stay. Our stay at Villa Divina Luxury Boutique was pure magic. Four lifelong friends from high school came to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate our 50th birthdays, and the penthouse suite gave us the most unforgettable girls’ trip we could have dreamed of. The penthouse itself was stunning — panoramic views and its own private infinity hot tub! It truly felt like a luxurious sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, Pascual and Omar and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. The first night, Pascual prepared a delicious dinner for us to enjoy in our room — it was such a special, thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire trip. Throughout our stay, both Pascual and Omar made sure every detail was perfect. This was more than just a vacation — it was a celebration of friendship, milestone birthdays, and the beauty of slowing down together in paradise. Villa Divina was the perfect place to do it all. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

The views are outstanding! The rooms are nice, and pool area is divine! The food was deliciious and cooked It's a great place for lovers to get away!

Water bottles provided in the rooms. Fruit or bagged snacks available in the bar area for guests to access at all times of day. Food is limited to serving hours. No access to the beach front unless you take a taxi or walk down a very steep cobblestone hill.

We had the hotel for ourselves, we could enjoy the pool and jacuzzi to the fullest and had the staff's full attention. Kids are not allowed (unless you book the whole hotel) so we could relax for our entire stay. The staff is very kind and professional. Food and drinks are good. Prices are reasonable for a hotel. The view is magnificient and unobstructed. Very highly recommended!

My husband and I rented the penthouse for four days. It is FAR larger than the pictures show, but certainly just as beautiful, as is the entire property. Everything is available to you- room service/cocktails, and who knew my favorite food on the menu would be the chefs Lasagna !! She’s an excellent cook. Omar, who very professionally and kindly runs the place, is fantastic. The location is quiet and somewhat private, and surrounded by equally beautiful other large villas. It was absolutely clean and maintained, truly as pretty as you’re hoping it would be. We did have massage therapists come to the room, and they were fantastic. Only one complaint- the second bedroom/bathroom smells like sewer gas, as the relief valve is in the floor of the bathroom and the smell escapes from a drain in the floor. There is a cover over it, but it doesn’t quite do the trick. There isn’t much space to hang out with a group, as the living room area is set up and used as reception for guests, i.e. checkin and out. This property is an excellent value, and as a couple, we would return. The penthouse is worth every penny. Gracias Villa Divina !!

Pictures do not do this magical place justice! I went with a group of 11 friends and it was the best trip we have ever taken. We are all ER nurses so we really need to relax and unwind when we are not at work and this place was perfect! We picked this place because all the rooms have balconies and ocean views, the location is quiet and peaceful but it's a very short drive to downtown, and the staff had wonderful reviews! We were spoiled by Pasual and Omar (waiters/barmen) during the entire trip. From arranging massages/nail services and making wonderful margaritas to getting a fantastic cake and singing for one of friends celebrating his birthday. We could not have asked for more. Juan (head chef) and Elisa (assistant chef) made such delicious and impressive meals. The steak they made for dinner on our first night was fantastic! Some members of our group went on a fishing charter and caught enough for dinner. Juan and Elisa cooked the fish in garlic and butter and it was great! The pools, jacuzzis and the rooms were sparkling and kept so clean. The view is breathtaking. Sometimes we just sat outside by the main pool for hours just talking and enjoying the view and the margaritas. As someone who plans group trips often, seriously look no further. You will not get a better view, location, or property, especially for the price. What really makes the place extraordinary: the people who work there. They were impressive to say the least!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Our room was immaculate—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern comforts we could need. The pool and hot tub were absolutely perfect—clean, well-maintained, and the ideal place to unwind. We spent hours just soaking and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious (made by the chef). I especially loved the fresh juice every morning—it was the perfect way to start the day. As well as the Flan! If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and fresh, wholesome food, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently for a night and had the experience of a life time. From being greeted with fresh mango margaritas the staff was very friendly every single member of that team was fantastic. I could not recommended this experience more especially to couples trying to spend their time in PV enjoying the beautiful views food and of course the beautiful people there. From the fantastic massages we had to the breath taking views . Only a 5-10 min drive to Malecón as well. Love this place and looking forward to staying here next time. LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel

We had the most amazing time staying here at Villa Divina in the penthouse. Relaxation at its finest!! It’s a very pretty boutique hotel with incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. They made us feel right at home from the second we got there. It’s a little different than staying at some of the bigger resorts we’ve been to in PV. Pascual was handling our welcome, checkin, luggage and all. But he and the other staff were always very friendly and helpful. We usually stay on the beach so it was a fun change to stay up in the hills. It’s a beautiful area and we miss that view already. Wow!!! A five star view of PV and the ocean, plus some whales some mornings. The penthouse was spacious, had a great set up with kitchen and private pool, and was just what we needed for a perfect vacation. If you’re curious about the gym, most of the machines are very old and don’t really work. Even the treadmill belt would slip a bit. It’s a good space for working out but I was really only able to use the dumbbells. Not a deal breaker for me but good to know for those who want to workout while you’re there.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, with amazing ocean sunset views! Located in a nice, safe, quiet area close to everything (by car). The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was very very friendly and accomodating!

-We booked a room with jacuzzi on the balcony. The jacuzzi was not warm until the day before we left (4 nt stay). Might not have made a difference in summer, but it was still chilly in Feb evenings so we could only use it one night. -There was no mini frig in the room, so we had no place to keep our own beverages. We asked for an ice bucket but were told "No. Ice buckets are only provided with room service orders." Apparently a room rate of $500+/nt isn't enough to get ice. -Guests are not allowed to leave the premises unless one of the hotel staff lets you out. You're virtually locked in. I found it only a little annoying, but it could be a safety issue.

We had such an amazing time here at Villa Davina. The view from room five was so incredible. We saw whales in the early morning out in the ocean. The service was next level and all of the staff really took pride in their jobs. I would absolutely come back here and recommend to friends and family.

This boutique hotel high up on the hill in the Conchas Chinas neighbourhood of PV is probably the nicest place we have ever stayed in. What a treat to have a spacious beautiful room, unbeatable views, attentive and personal service, great food and drinks. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. We can't speak highly enough of Carmen, Pascual, Omar and the rest of the team. The walk down the hill to the gorgeous beaches just south of the main beach at PV is well worth it. The walk back up is not for everyone, although it is good exercise. Ubers are prompt, taxis are plentiful, so trips into the vibrant town and nightlight of the zone romanitca are easy and cheap. It is hard to find a fault at with this hotel - the elevator to the upper floors and strong wifi are also worth mentioning.

Our expectations were far exceeded by this beautiful small luxury hotel. The views high in the Conchas Chinas neighbourhood of PV are to die for. Sunsets, whales, lush tropical forests and birds. Our room was spacious, light, tasteful and comfortable. The service by all the staff was amazing - after a week staying there we felt like family. Carmen, Pascual, Omar, Juanito and the rest of the team looked after us so well. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool, beautifully prepared meals and attentive service. While being high up on the hill it’s still possible to walk down to the beaches below and along the shore to Puerto Vallarta. Walking back up isn’t for everyone but it is good exercise! It’s a short taxi or uber ride into the old town and zona romantica. The hotel has an elevator, and the wifi is strong and reliable. We can’t find any fault with this amazing hotel, and look forward to returning.

Small boutique hotel. Spotless, new, fresh decor with notable paintings. Comfortable beds and pillows. Infinity pool area small but beautiful. Did not use gym. Amazing view of the ocean. Small attentive staff. You can eat meals by the pool off the menu and food is good. Only 1-2 groups eating at a time. Mostly couples. Easy to drive/uber to Boca de Tomatlan to get a water taxi to go up the coast, or to go anywhere in PV. Would stay again.

The staff, Lupita, Carmen, Pasqual, Oscar and Juannniiitooo, were all wonderful and took such good care of us. Beautiful rooms, great bathroom, lovely art and fantastic views and yummy food on-site. Closest thing to having your own villa! Such a gem of a property. I would absolutely recommend it. And book directly with Villa Divina instead of through this app to get better prices!

This is the most amazing aesthetic villa for such a great price! In a way it’s “tucked in” so it’s not loud but a quick Uber to town. Staff is incredibly kind, helpful and talented in dining and customer service. Staff was welcoming and gave great recommendations. We were a group of 10 and had plenty of room and we LOVED our time there. The view is insane and you can watch the most perfect sunset from the pool. 10/10 LITERALLY would stay again.✨

Good quality was not 5 star. Would request a duffer t room next time (ours was “underneath”). Staff awesome, facility lovely. Only true complaint is that it’s very “intimate quarters” like you’re in someone’s home. When staff eats lunch every day, which is totally fins, it becomes very loud & distracting at pool. Due to small area, lunch for staff might be relocated. Otherwise, great!

Celebrated our best friend's 30th birthday at this amazing place in Puerto Vallarta. The best part of our stay was she staff. We had an amazing time mostly because of them. They all made sure to take of us, in every special way. I want to give a special shout out to our team, including Pascual, Omar, Eliza, Juan, and Carmen. There was not a single moment where we were missing something. Excellent service all around and with a great attitude. I am Mexican born and raised in Michoacán and this crew definitely made sure to give us a proper Mexican welcoming and experience. I love each and every one of them and I love Villa Divina! Each one of the staff members I named deserves a heavy raise because they are 6 stars and beyond! Felt like a family the whole time we were with them, all love! <3

This hotel is tucked away and so so divine! I loved our room that had an ocean view and Pasquel and Carmen were amazing hosts. I felt so grateful to have such a wonderful stay. My husband loved it too. ❤️

My partner and I loved our stay at Villa Divina - after looking at about what seemed 100 other places I decided on this boutique villa and I'm so glad I did! My partner and I were visiting from San Francisco we wanted a quiet, beautiful place to rest and relax and this was just that- incredible views, an amazing infinity pool, a comfortable room and caring and attentive service from the staff. The view, the sound of the birds, and the food/drinks are unbeatable. Pasquel and Omar were our primary points of contact, with Omar going above and beyond to provide tip-top service and Pasquel making the best passionfruit margarita I've ever had, hands down! You can tell the effort that all staff put into making each guest's experience amazing, everything from the food to the cleaning services was done with care, and I so appreciated the kindness of each person and the time they took to check in on our needs. I highly recommend this place for couples and folks looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to recharge.

Large beautiful room with an awesome view. Food was excellent and priced similar to restaurants in town. Staff were fun and amazing. A special thanks to Pasquali, Omar, Carmen, and the cook Lisa. If Omar asks if you want Jam in your omlette he means HAM. Room mentioned a kitchen but only a sink and no mini fridge. Hopefully that has changed. Walk to all beaches awesome but quite the incline back up. We loved the exercise! Also you get to see the jungle fauna (Super neat), flowers, and if your lucky some big lizards. Oh and of course Chachalacas. OXO conveinience store, taxi and bus stop at bottom of hill. So peacefull. A definate MUST STAY !!

This little gem is as advertised, a boutique resort hotel nestled into the hillside of Puerto Villarta. What a peaceful retreat to rejuvenate after a day at the beach, exploring PV or just relaxing in the sun enjoying a good book. Carmen Ibarra is your hostess at this little piece of paradise with its infinity pools and luxurious rooms. Carmen and her staff of professionals are there to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. I cannot say enough about everyone. Pasquale, your daytime “man Friday” is there at your every beckon call with fresh towels at the infinity pool, refreshing your sumptuous drink so your glass is always full of goodness, to helping you checkin as well as out and make some delicious recommendations from their restaurant. This is a MUST PLACE TO TRY! You will love the welcoming atmosphere and culture from the warm Mexican people. Cannot say enough about Villa Divina I.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Divina for the first time based on the reviews and the area. We stayed in suite 2 which was a beautiful suite. I want to thank the staff for your hospitality but would like express our appreciation for Carmen and Pasquel. They both are the faces of this property. Absolutely serine. The staff were sincere and authentically kind and interested. Their default answer to any questions was essentially “yes” and they found a way to make what ever it was, happen. Omar, Carmen, and Pascal made the already great facility, feel like a temporary home. There to greet you day and night. The entire facility was clean and everthing worked as expected. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water, the pool and hot tub were clean. My ONLY gripe is that the WiFi is terrible, essentially doesn’t work on any of our 4 devices. So slow that our devices defaulted to cell as there was “no data” connection on WiFi. I did not complain while I was there until check out as I have plenty of cell data, so it’s possible they could fix it, another two parties were having similar issues. They are currently installing an elevator. The location is about a 4 dollar Uber ride to the romantic district (the first major commercial area north) and about 45 min to the south is the botanical gardens (via public bus for 10 pesos that stops at the bottom of the hill. The views are amazing.

This was the perfect spot for a 4 day getaway! Carmen is an amazing concierge and takes care of your every want and need. The servers/bartenders are incredible too. The food is to die for- the fresh fish with the anjillo seasoning melted in your mouth. Breakfast was perfection- eggs Benedict and French toast were our favorites. The rooms are exactly as they look in the pictures! We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.

The property is situated in a beautiful lush and secluded area of Puerto Vallarta within a short car ride from downtown including the Romantic zone. The views are spectacular and the food and drinks amazing. It was like having a private chef and concierge. The property is fantastic for couples. Rooms are great, service is fantastic, the view is beautiful. Only downsides: you need a car to move around, the area is very quiet and safe, but not walkable. The only option for eating is inside the hotel, food is good but found it a bit pricey for the options. Overall, an amazing option, just be sure to bring a car or be prepared to move by taxi.

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! I looks exactly like the photos. Carmen was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and like we were more than just guest. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the staff was wonderful! The pool, the views, everything was just superb. If you are thinking about booking here please do so immediately, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Can't wait to come back!

Carmen, Pasqual and team were a pleasure to work with! They made every component of my stay amazing and were there to help with every detail. The team of chefs did an awesome job of showing me a taste of Puerto Vallarta. The villa is beautiful!!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and well laid out the penthouse was. You have to see it to believe it. The views!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have recommended this location to so many since my visit and will definitely be back!!! Thanks to the entire Villa Divina team!!!

The property, staff, and room were wonderful. We were welcomed and felt comfortable from the moment we entered. It's quiet with amazing views from the pool and the rooms of the hillsides and the ocean. Food was delicious and staff was extremely attentive. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

The view is amazing. It is so quiet with birds, whales, iguanas, etc. Food is fantastic. Room was so large and comfortable. The best part is the staff. I have traveled all over the world and this small group of people were so friendly and helpful. Pasqual sang a lovely song on my birthday. Carmen was so warm but professional. Oscar was great at breakfast. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family.

Amazing view and beautiful rooms. Loved the patio and the service that came with it. Rooms could use a mini-fridge in the massive closet, but not a big deal to live without.

This is the best place to stay hands down…Carmen is the best, my hubby needed some allergy meds and she ordered them for us and had them delivered to the hotel..the staff and the food first class all the way!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Divina to celebrate her BDay. This place was everything we were hoping for, stunning views, tranquility, and very private. The the staff made everything enjoyable. Carmen and her staff were very kind. We will definitely be back again 😊
