Reviewed Sep 2, 2026I was greeted by our fabulous hostess and she had upgraded our room for the night . Wonderful surprise as it was my birthday! The bed was extra large and comfy and all the amenities were great ! The motel is situated in a beautiful spot overlooking the estuary and we had a balcony to sit and enjoy the scenery . It's close to many restaurants which was a bonus .

The room was a bit cold as soon as the sun went down and I only discovered the small heater behind the dustbin the next morning.

The room was very small. Tiny little sink and drawers in a corner. 2 chairs and a table on the deck. No room inside for it. Only just room for the bed and nowhere to put the suitcases. We were in an upstairs unit. Being in our 80s we requested a downstairs unit and were told it would cost $20 extra despite the fact only 2 other units were occupied. Plus it was raining and we wouldn’t have got wet with a downstairs unit
