Good island escape. Very good transport facilities on and off and also inside resort. Very nice staff. Superb spa massage, good gym. Breakfast was ok. Other food options quite good considering off season period. Great pool at villa. Extremely quiet and lovely place in nature.

We went for a Japanese sushi dinner and the sushi was not that fresh. Maybe because it was off season and the main Japanese restaurant was closed.

We started our stay at Barcelo Coconut Island on the 6th of September, and it was an absolute privilege to be here from the moment we checked in to the day we checked out. I will start off with a word of advise to any guests looking to stay here- GET THE ALL INCLUSIVE! Barcelo's facilities, Decor and overall atmosphere is spectacular. Amenities: FOOD & DRINK: Barcelo offers 3 restaurants and a cocktail bar. Our experience at Kusina (Italian Resturant) was good. Their food is fresh, tasty and quick! Kabang was by far our favorite, they have a larger selection of meals, multiple menues, great drinks and the views are stunning. Laku beach club left somethings to be desired, but for what seems to be a new concept, it was comfortable. Unfortunately, although Naga Cocktail states open 24hrs on the app, it was closed in the late evenings. So we didnt get to experience it. But it looked lovely. The biggest praise I can give the restaurants is the service. The staff are amazing! They are incredibly, helpful and speedy. All our food and drinks were delivered in under 20 minutes consistently and always with a smile. A special thank you to Kampoo, Nui and Pink for looking after us everyday. SHUTTLE BOAT: The water taxi from the island to the mainland was efficient, timely and very useful. We were able to book the boat via the app. The app in its self was amazing! Having all the access to the resort information without having to go to the reception was top tier. ROOMS: The rooms are well Kitted out, with everything one could need. Full sized toiletries, ample towels, TV, well stocked mini bar (which is included in the all inclusive), lots of mirrors and beautiful views. To close off: This place is amazing! The smallest details are well thought out and the service is to die for. I would recommend this place to anybody! Just be prepared to spend a pretty penny if you are not looking to leave the island or get the all inclusive band.

ACTIVITIES AND SPA: I Unfortunately didnt go on any of the paid excursions or visit the spa, purely due to the pricing of the services. Most services and activities were upwards of 2500thb per person. This is 3 x as much as, sometimes more than, what is charged on the mainland. I really could not justify spending the money. This is really unfortunate, I think he hotel could benefit from relooking at their pricing or adding special deals for couples/families. I would've loved to stay on the island over my whole trip. WATER SPORTS: The resort offers water sports in the form of Kayaks and paddle boards. I think there is an opportunity to offer more here. Some tubing or jet skiing would be amazing! I would definitely pay to be dragged around this beautiful shore line. Some of the areas that would be improved are: - The air-conditioning: unfortunately our aircon was very finicky and would not let us change settings or temperature easily. - The Bidets: I love a Bidet! But these were just too powerful that it was quite painful to use and difficult to control pressure. - The Bins provided: the hotel asks that we do not flush toilet paper into the systems. I think providing a bin with a lid would be ideal. Especially for those of us on Honeymoon, used tissue is just not sexy.

Food is bland and overpriced. Yes all these resorts are however the food standard is generally higher quality. We also upgraded to a two bedroom villa. The first was too small for three people and very poorly laid out in condition and configuration.

The hotel itself was very nice. Good wifi, lot of trees, lot of green. Located in an island, very nice.

Room wasn't cleaned properly, bedding changed once only. We booked cottage with private pool, wasn't able to use pool as always dirty and full of leaves, cleaned once day before we are leaving.

From arrival at reception where the boat taxi took us to the Island, to the accommodation, food and facilities, the whole experience was amazing. Myself and my teenage children thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would love to go back. The Villa with the infinity pool was sublime and a great place to relax.

When we arrived, there was no power on the island due to some technical issues at the mainland, so no AC but the hotel was very accommodating and provided drinks and ice creams which was nice. We also had issues with the AC in one of the bedrooms and this took a day or two to fix. The main pool and slide were closed which was disappointing as we were not aware of this until we arrived.

The hotel is beautiful and offers very good facilities. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive and professional, both in the restaurants and throughout the hotel. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. However, the quality of the food was disappointing, both at breakfast and in the restaurants. Many of the ingredients and products seemed to be of poor quality, and there was a noticeable lack of consistency. A hotel of this standard should serve the same dish in the same way every time. For example, the French fries were sometimes served cold and appeared to have been reheated, while the children’s burger came with tomato on one occasion and without it on another…

1. Staff attitude and service recovery – When we arrived, the door lock was malfunctioning and the air conditioning was not working properly. Despite several unsuccessful attempts to repair the door, the hotel management handled the situation exceptionally well. They offered compensation and upgraded us free of charge to a pool villa, which was an excellent upgrade. Although there were some technical issues at the beginning of our stay, the staff’s attitude and their response to the situation were excellent. 2. Pool villa bedroom – The bedroom was very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with direct access to the pool. 3. Spacious bathroom – The bathroom was spacious and well equipped, featuring a separate shower room, a large bathtub, and direct access to the pool. 4. Fantastic views – The villa offered spectacular views of the tropical landscape and the sea. 5. Swimming pool – The pool was a good size and long enough for proper swimming, rather than being purely decorative. 6. Well-equipped room – The room provided all the necessary amenities and accessories for a comfortable stay. 7. Tropical surroundings – The hotel is beautifully integrated into the natural landscape, with abundant tropical plants and an authentic island atmosphere.

1. Location and surroundings – The hotel itself is attractive and well maintained, but the surrounding area is considerably less appealing. Immediately outside the hotel, the island has a relatively poor and somewhat untidy village environment, which may be uncomfortable for some visitors. The mainland pier is also located in a rather run-down neighborhood. The hotel does have its own private pier on the mainland, which operates during high tide . 2. Limited dining options – There are very few options for food outside the hotel, so guests are essentially dependent on the hotel’s restaurants. Prices are relatively high, while the quality and taste of the food did not always meet our expectations. 3. Limited access to shops and services – There are virtually no shops, convenience stores, or other useful services on the island, and there are very limited options in the immediate vicinity on the mainland as well. This makes the hotel quite isolated from everyday amenities. 4. No air conditioning in the bathroom – The bathroom does not have air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable given the tropical climate, particularly after using the shower or bathtub.

Excelente hotel. Volveria a repetir estancia. Una ubicacion y entorno perfecto si buscas relax y paz. El tamaño y decoracion de las habitaciones excelente. Las piscinas nos encantaron. Y lo mejor el personal del hotel, siempre intentando ayudarte mas alla de sus obligaciones y en especial destacar el barman del bar junto a recepcion y mas especialmente aun a Sandra (española) que realiza una labor increible, parece que estas en casa e intenta que tu estadia sea perfecta, profesionales como ella hacen que quieras repetir en el mismo hotel. Nos proporcionaron un upgrade de habitacion....una villa con dos habitaciones, dos baños, salon y piscina privada, una maravilla. Implicacion total por problemas alimenticios de mi hija. Ademas la relacion caliad precio es una de las mejores. Referente al TI lo recomiendo, aunque es un concepto diferente al que estamos acostumbrados. En resumen, volveria tanto por el personal como por las instalaciones.

Por ser honestos, la playa no es la mas idilica, no esperes la arena blanca ni el agua turquesa (pero lo suple perfectamete la piscina y el entorno). Y el tener que depender del barco que te traslade implica que tienes que acomodarte a los horarios (personalmente tengo que decir mandaron otro barco para que no esperaramos tanto).

Everything. The staff are beautiful, the resort is beautiful. Our second time here and we would definitely be back for more. This was our first time back since the renovations, it didnt disappoint! Special mention to Con at Laku aswell as Kent and Kyle at Kabang. They really went above and beyond and always made sure we were happy. Very easy to go back and forth to mainland phuket for any activities at all hours.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön eingewachsen und sehr gepflegt. Die Bootsverbindung funktioniert super und unkompliziert, auch bei extremer Ebbe.

An der Sauberkeit der Zimmer kann gearbeitet werden. Die Teppiche sind voller Flecken und die Zimmer sollten auch immerwieder mal gesaugt, nicht nur ausgekehrt werden.

Not all bars and restaurants open, and very quiet at night. Nothing the property can do about it, but although the beach was clean and the water a great temperature, the water is cloudy.

Our second time at this resort and we loved it as much as the first time!

our only issue was that we had to chase for the cleaners to come on a few days and one day we had no cleaner at all.. not ideal when we were 5 of us in a 3 bed villa.. however the team were incredibly apologetic and offered us half board as a compensation for the remainder of our stay...

Super localisation, un beau complexe, sur une île mais avec de nombreuses activités. Nous avons été surclassés avec villa front de mer extrêmement confortable. Possibilité d’exploser la baie de Phang Nga et les îles Phi Phi au depart de l’hôtel avec une équipe de l’hôtel. Bien plus confortable (petit speed boat) qu’une agence qui recupere dans plusieurs hôtels aux environs.

Great pool with attractive open hours until 10:00 pm. Beach was muddy but the hotel had a tail boat to take us to the next island with clear water.

Les chambres étaient très grande avec un grand salon. Notre piscine de chambre était grande et très agréable. La piscine principale etait très bien et les toboggans ont fait la joie de mon fils ainé. La plage privé était top avec assez de transats pour tous. Les kayaks et Padel étaient prêté gracieusement. Le transport en bateau de Coconut Island sur l'ile de Phuket et vice versa et très bien géré et se fait toute les heures 24/24.

La gestion du petit déjeuner était un peu à revoir, notamment en période de pleine affluence.

The facilities were well appointed. They organized pick up and drop off and were by very helpful with moving a family with 2 young kids about. The villa was spacious and clean and had everything you needed.

The all inclusive package was good, but the rules were a bit unclear and only stocking the fridge once per day and the potential for charging for drinks to if getting room service even though you have all inclusive means you have to go to the bars or restaurants to get a free drink or meal. We were off season so we’re lucky with some of the add ons provided, but that would be a frustration if there in the peak season.

Inside the rooms was nice and well designed. Good bedroom sizes.

Access to the rooms and around the hotel with a push chair was impossible and no care given when selecting rooms. Needs serious pest control or sealing to the doors to deal with ants inside the rooms. Access by boat was very difficult and badly managed. Food was genuinely bad overall. All inclusive was not worth paying. Massively understaffed, so the service was poor.

I stayed here for 10 days in a private villa, and despite the resort being fully occupied, the management is completely incapable of handling this volume of guests. The overall service was unacceptable for a property of this size, and communication was difficult right through to check-out, where the staff member handling our departure had very poor English skills, making basic closing details frustrating. While I was swimming in my supposedly "private" pool, two staff members literally climbed through the bushes into my pool area as a shortcut to get to the neighboring villa. This was a shocking lack of respect for guest privacy. Housekeeping was terrible throughout the stay. My bedsheets were not changed once during the entire 10 days. They regularly took old towels without leaving new ones, and at one point, a basket full of dirty towels sat in my villa for 2 days. I had to complain every single day just to get towels. The hygiene standards were equally unacceptable. A dead cockroach remained on the floor in plain sight without being cleaned, and a dirty spot in the bathtub stayed there untouched for 4 days. Amenity restocking was completely random and hit-or-miss depending on who cleaned. On top of that, same-day laundry (submitted before 12:00 PM) took 2 full days to be returned, and only after I called. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak throughout the stay. To top it all off, my birthday occurred during the stay, and unlike standard hospitality practices, there was zero acknowledgement or gesture from the resort.

Cogimos una gran villa con piscina y salida a la playa de 2 habitaciones y nos mejoraron a una de 4 habitaciones. La villa espectacular, un lujo con la piscina y un gran jardín incluido. El personal de 10, destacar a Sandra que nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos en nuestra estancia y nos hizo sentir súper cómodos!

Los bichos que nos encontramos en los baños/villa (algo normal al estar en mitad de la naturaleza), los precios un poco caros de los restaurantes y quizás el tener que coger un barco tanto para ir a phuket como para volver a la isla, aunque es verdad que tardas en llegar 5-10’ como mucho.

Exceptional Service: Staff were friendly, engaging, and attentive—frequently offering drink refills and food assistance. Effortless Excursions: Booking trips through the desk was simple and helpful. Great Atmosphere & Amenities: A fun, welcoming environment with a nice overall room and a lovely pool area.

Excessive Noise & Poor Soundproofing: The thin connecting wall allowed severe noise from neighboring rooms—including shouting and loud talking late into the night (until 2 AM) and early morning (5:30 AM). Complaining twice yielded no real action beyond basic requests to quiet down, ruining what was meant to be a restful holiday. Restrictive All-Inclusive Package: Food and beverage inclusions were overly limited rather than truly all-inclusive. Infrequent Transport: The boat trip schedule was too limited and needs higher frequency. Housekeeping Neglect: The room and minibar were not replenished daily, and dirty towels were not replaced.

Our experience was very disappointing. We arrived at 3:00 PM, but our room was not ready until 4:00 PM, even though check-in is supposed to be at 2:00 PM. At first, they tried to give us a different room than the one we had booked because they said our villa was not available. We paid for a villa, but they attempted to assign us a standard room instead. When we finally went to the villa, it was still dirty, and the housekeeping staff were still cleaning it. We had to wait outside the villa for about 20 minutes until they finished. The receptionist was not clear in her communication and did not handle the situation professionally. Overall, the service was poor, and the check-in process was very frustrating.

The restaurants at the resort don’t have a big choice when it comes to food. The 3 restaurants on site really need some improvement when it comes to the menu. The breakfast needs improvement, same food was served every morning and food choice was pretty poor.

الطعام مع الأسف، الفطور سيء لا يوجد خيارات مناسبة للعرب، الاطباق غير طازجة، اضافه الى ان المطعم يفتقر للجودة ولتنوع الأصناف بصراحة الأكل كان سيء جدا ولا يوجد خيارات اخرى قريبة، ولو ان الأكل كان أفضل لكانت تجربة استثنائية.

Our pool villa was amazing. Beautiful decor, loads of space, huge bathroom, great pool. The whole complex is beautiful with lots of amazing wildlife, gorgeous spa and easy access to sandy beach. The communal pools are excellent and the water slide was a lovely bonus for our teenagers. The staff are incredibly helpful and the hotel is really well organised e.g. bookings for the water taxi and most services are super easy on the hotel App.

The price of the spa treatments was very high compared to the rest of Thailand (around £100 for a 1 hour treatment). Had there been some mid-priced options, I would have booked one in a flash! The cookery looked great but was also just too expensive for couple of hours. The 'western' food was a little below par especially the pizzas (too dry). The breakfast buffet and Thai food was excellent but I just can't stomach chili every night! We didn't go all-inclusive (just B&B) which worked out better value for us as we ate in phuket a couple of times. Also, we weren't restricted to certain eating times as other all-in guests seemed to be. The wider island itself is very littered with plastic bottles and waste, which is really sad to see. When we arrived on the public pier (during low tide) we had a pretty negative first impression of a very polluted coastline. The hotel minimises plastic use really well but I did feel more should be done to support recycling or waste removal from the island.

Man sollte nicht in einen Wartungstau kommen. Und sich auch um unangenehme Dinge kümmern. Wie reinigung der Abläufe das diese funktionieren. Und / oder nicht riechen das ist schon etwas unangenehm.

Отличный отель для удалённого семейного отдыха от городской суеты (если требуется уединение и релаксация). Много активностей, отличный спортзал. Объективно — отель отличный, очень вкусная кухня в итальянском ресторане и ресторане местной (тайской) кухни. Есть ресторан японской кухни. Карта коктейлей имеет хороший выбор, все коктейли вкусные. Данный отель подходит для отдыха в формате 3–5 дней, учитывая, что это самое идеальное место при условии, что вы берёте пакет «всё включено», но можно зависнуть и на большее количество времени — смотря, что вам нужно от отеля и локации. При выборе данного отеля нужно понимать, что прилегающая часть моря имеет илистое дно (откуда вас забирают и везут на остров), и, несмотря на песчаный пляж у отеля, море может быть «мутноватым» и отличаться от других пляжей Пхукета. Для этих целей отель предлагает трансфер на соседний остров (время в пути — минут 7–10). Данный пляж песчаный, с чистой водой. Можно решить также этот вопрос в индивидуальном порядке с местными владельцами лодок у пристани. Мы купались и у отеля, и ездили на остров. На территории имеются прекрасные бассейны, в которых можно также прекрасно проводить время, если вас не интересует море. Если нужно отлично отдохнуть, побыть с семьёй и близкими, попивая коктейли, — то это ваш осознанный выбор.

Побольше бы рейсов трансфера на основной остров для планирования отдыха и экскурсий на острове. Есть живность (комары, улитки, гекконы, сколопендры), но они не мешают вам совсем.

The location was a highlight for us, and the daily boat transfer added a memorable touch — our kids especially enjoyed the novelty of it. We also loved the natural surroundings, set in such a remote and peaceful part of the island.

Please note: this property is surrounded by nature, so encountering insects and animals (nothing wild) is common. Additionally, the only transportation to and from the city runs on a fixed schedule, which guests must be able to commit to. If either of these is a concern, this hotel may not suit your needs."

Die moderne und großzügige Poolvilla, das freundliche Personal sowie das sehr gute All-inclusive-Konzept mit À-la-carte-Restaurants haben uns besonders gefallen. Die Hotel-App war äußerst praktisch, um Aktivitäten, Zimmerservice und weitere Angebote bequem zu buchen. Insgesamt ist das Resort der perfekte Ort, um für ein paar Tage vollkommen abzuschalten und dem Alltag zu entfliehen.

Das Housekeeping und die Auffüllung von Getränken in der Villa funktionierten nicht immer zuverlässig, sodass man teilweise nachfragen musste. Einige kleinere Mängel wie das verschmutzte Outdoor-Bett, die fehlende Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit im Schlafzimmer und die nicht immer aktuelle Hotel-App waren etwas enttäuschend. Zudem ist man durch die Lage auf der Insel auf die Bootsverbindungen zum Festland angewiesen.

we all had problems with the food. I was sick for 2 days with food issues. because you're on an island there was no other place to be, the water price is so unfair. and nothing to do about it. and food price is so high, but doesn't meet the expectation, we've been in same price hotels in Phuket, same price for the food, but what we got was way better than what they have to offer in this hotel. very bad choice for us. we will never come back.

Food quality! More Authentic Indian food. The beachclub was closed without notice on the website and from staff at the pier.

El desayuno era espectacular, había de todo, la piscina de los toboganes genial para que mis hijos disfrutaran. Cogimos la villa de dos habitaciones con piscina y era muy bonita y acogedora. El hotel no está en la península pero tienen un barco que funciona cada hora y es gratuito, en cinco minutos estás.

En la isla hay pocos restaurantes y los que están en el hotel son bastante caros, sobre todo el japonés. Como la marea está alta por las mañanas y baja por las tardes el barco te deja en sitios diferentes según la hora a la que lo cojas y eso nos hacía un poco de lío hasta que lo entendimos.

I would like to appreciate Chris from guest relations who was very professional and helpful. We had some issues during our stay : first our room was confirmed as per request for king bed and we checked in to the twin bed room - it was fixed after I called to ask for help. Then we had issue with allocation for island trip as driver mixed the island trip we booked. And finally the TV in the room is not working and not possible to watch YouTube or Netflix or anything online as it says that there is no connection to wifi so we ended up having evenings without TV entertainment which is not big issue but still question mark when you book 5 stars property and you expect everything to be just good. Chris from guest relations department tried to help us and offered us assistance which I appreciate and want to say Thank you separate for him!

I travelled her on my own, The staff were so helpful and accomodating. Food was delicious with plenty to chose from. I was all inclusive and stayed for 5 nights it was perfect.

The whole experience was amazing, the staff especially, always making sure everything is on point and made our stay very unforgettable

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The food was great, especially the Thai options, but it is what you would expect.

The sushi night was a disaster- over 3 hours waiting for our meal - we seamed to be forgotten about as people were served and had completed there meal before we got our first dishes. Also one of the pools went out of action during our stay due to emergency repairs so lots of noise during the day to repair.

The island separates your stay from the hustle and bustle of mainland. The staff are really what makes this stay enjoyable, they really go out of their way to make it a relaxing experience.

The main pool was closed without notification before I arrived or at check in. The other pool is so slippery when entering 4 people including myself fell. There are wild dogs just roaming on the beach and sitting under the beach chairs. The resort is in desperate need of revamp because it is worn dated and shabby.

The service was perfect, we got upgraded to a villa with Swimmingpool Pool since they are doing a maintenant on the Beach front one, but we got also Access to a Beach front villa to enjoy an other swimming pool facing the océan, plus a free dîner, honestly thank you very much, we had a great stay

The location was perfect for a getaway. The staff was very professional and helpful. All staff really helped us with our 7 month old baby. And always extended their help. I give specific thanks to Mr. HASAN (MANAGER) who have very friendly approach and made our experience more personalised.

This time of the month it was low tide. However their pool was ok.

Honestly, nothing. Perhaps only to mention that the cleaning staff could do with a vacuum cleaner to make their life easier but seriously, nothing negative to say.

Pool villa room was beautiful and spacious. Bed was soft. AC was perfect. Grounds were beautiful. Golf cart pick up was very helpful. Fabulous breakfast offered.

Limited options for dining on the island means you have to either eat there or travel a distance once back on mainland. Not a huge issue, but if prices for food and beverages were more reasonable at the resort that would be good. Not a lot of activities or enertainment offered, again not a huge issue but when weather is bad it would be great to have options of something to occupy your time. An ATM machine on property would be great, there is none on the island. Bike loan is nice but bikes could be in better condition and offered for free, not just one hour for free.
