The property does need some maintenance but the stay was comfortable.

The guest house was so neat and such a beautiful garden. The staff were also so friendly and greeted you by your name!

It was ok not the greatest for the price you pay to stay

It might have been a very elegant place 5 years ago but things like flowers next to the bed isn't practical anymore

Beautiful building with amazing views. Nice pool area. Clean and safe. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were very helpful. We were attending a wedding at a nearby vineyard and the staff helped with taxi arrangements (as Ubers we were organising were struggling to find the property).

We stayed at a weekend and there is no chef for lunch/dinner at a weekend. We were advised of this beforehand. Guests need to understand that they will need to make arrangements to eat (other than breakfast) away from the property at weekend.

Helaas was er zowel zaterdag als zondag niet iets open behalve het ontbijt.

We made a late booking and only needed a bed for the night. No expectation whatsoever aside from staying over in a clean, secure place. This was satisfactory. General maintenance of the guesthouse could be considered but the breakfast was acceptable and the setting was good. No negatives really, served its purpose. Nothing broken, just maintenance from a longevity point of view should be considered to avoid future challenges. Liked the music in the communal area

Traumhafte ruhige Lodge mit wunderschönem Blick. Das Zimmer mit Terrasse war sehr großzügig und gemütlich, leckeres Frühstück, sehr netter Service und es gab einen sehr guten Wein.

The breakfast was very good with a build your own muesli station, the fresh fruit was fantastic and the cooked breakfast was great. The location was brilliant and very close to Paarl town, which was convenient.

I think there was only a few small things that might improve the place and that is a bit of maintenance both in the bedrooms and around the features, such as the pool tiles and the potted plants. So just fixing a few things would go a long way.

Loved the pool, the intimateness of the farm lodge, the spacious comfy rooms.

Beautiful location, beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. The swimming pool was tidy and clean, and very pleasant to swim in during the hot day.

Only old filter coffee available in rooms, didn't receive good coffee at the guesthouse when asked, they had trouble with their lone machine. They could at least give the option of Nescafe pouches. The breakfast was served ICE cold 2 mornings in a row, but tasted good at least. Only VERY limited Dstv channels available on tv. You could have the best location, but eventually the small details can really make the stay a little unpleasant.

Everything was better than expected. The staff ( Unica and Ina) were exceptionally amazing and went out of their way to ensure everything was in order! Eventhough it was fully booked you still had your privacy and space so there was minimal interaction with other guests etc. which was great! The standard rooms had amazing views so definitely will be back for the sunrises 😊 the homemade jams were so yum 😋

Nothing, it really was a perfect get away from the city. Perhaps for future they could look at some dinner options to avoid leaving the property however there are many options nearby as well so definitely not a negative but rather a suggestion😊 Also, if the pool guy could put the pool pump on over the weekends that would be great to ensure some flow whilst swimming 🎉 hopefully the jams will be sold soon- the breakfast and jams were amazing!

The breakfast was amazing and was served by lovely staff.

The only thing I didn't like was the lock on our door, unfortunately the whole door handle fell off when we first went in the room but this was soon fixed by a member of staff but would have like something a bit more secure.

Unser Zimmer befand sich im Erdgeschoss mit einer kleinen Terrasse und Blick in den Garten, die Weinberge und auf die Berge. Im Garten befindet sich ein Pool mit kleinem Wasserfall sowie Liegen/Sonnenschirme.Das Zimmer war groß, gemütlich und sehr gepflegt und verfügte über ein wirklich großes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Wanne. Das Frühstück am Morgen auf der tollen Terrasse mit Blick in die Weinberge lies keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben hier 3 wunderschöne Tage verbracht und haben diese sehr genossen. Das Personal war super herzlich und freundlich. Die Überraschung zum Geburtstag (Blumen, Kuchen etc.) war einfach fantastisch - Danke hierfür nochmals.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful guesthouse. The staff were accommodating, friendly, and very welcoming. The room was spacious clean, and the view was breath takingly beautiful. Breakfast was delicious

The location was great. Beautiful views and quick access between Paarl and Wellington.

The property is in need of some updates and maintenance. I think the property should price themselves a bit lower because of this.

The location isy very good and central to explore the Boland in the Western Cpe, the view over the vinyards to the mountains is just stunning, the breakfast ist goos and in a stunning setting.

At this time of the year there are may mosquitos which bother you when trying to sleep. It is important to be adequately prepared.

The guest house and garden area lovely and the location is very peaceful and quiet. The staff -particularly Bianca gutes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The owner Ina let us slipshod our purchases while we went to play a round of golf prior to checking in. The odd touch up becomes necessary. The frame of door to room 8 is becoming loose and I thought it a shame that a part of the railing on the stairs was missing. You only notice these things because everything else was so well maintained. Moved the design of the pool. Because there was no shade, we did not use it, however. I suggest the a few umbrellas. There is some machine that makes a noise and keeps you up. There are so many mosquitoes. They should invest in better bug control.

Schönes Landhaus mit nettem Personal. Leider gab es beim Luxury Zimmer keinen Balkon und auch keine Terrasse, das fanden wir etwas schade. Viele frische Produkte von der Farm beim Frühstück. Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, dafür auch abgelegen, zu Fuß weder Restaurants noch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden, das Hotel hat auch kein Restaurant. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft, aber vom Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hatten wir bessere Guesthouses während unserer Rundreise.

Every thing was excellent

The estate was beautiful with a beautiful view. Very well maintained. The staff was amazing always helpful and always smiling—very nice place, calm and beautiful. Breakfast was very nice, with local jams and a full English breakfast. We loved our stay there while cruising around to discover Franschhoek and Stellenbosh around. Safe, clean, beautiful, and comfortable.

Nothing in particular. The decor is not very modern in the rooms or so - but it has taste and fit completely the vibes of the place also. but really not that important.

Stunning location, quiet, attentive, helpful staff, rooms were exactly as described. Spacious and comfortable. As we were one of the very few guests there, it was wonderful and peaceful. We had to leave early and received a yummy breakfast box as we couldn’t stay for breakfast.

Just off the main road from Paarl, the guesthouse is beautifully positioned facing the vineyard. The rooms are spacious, and the setting is wonderful. The gardens are well maintained and the staff goes out of their way to help you. Bianca at the reception area was lovely!

We have booked many times at Cana Vineyards, unfortunately for the same rate we were put into a dark dingy room that looked over the carpark. Usually we have a view of the Vineyards. When I requested to change I was told that I would have to pay R600 more - for something that we have always received in previous occasions. It is sad that when one comes back to a place one regularly frequents to end up in dark gloomy rooms. Be aware!
