Scenicland Motels

It was very nice and roomy and really appreciate actually having Sky channels. Love the kitchen and the furnishings, like that you don't have to worry about the coffee table surface.

We just had the unit by the road, as we are rural we found it quite noisy, but normal town/city dwellers probably wouldn't notice.

central location was great, bed/bathroom and kitchenette had everything we expected and needed, good job guys, many thanks

Great room with large comfortable bed.

Quiet, clean anc comfortable room. The owner was friendly and accomodating when we realised we'd booked a double rather than twin room.

Clean, comfortable beds, quiet.

Clean and comfortable

Top notch accommodation with nothing to fault. Easily ranked #1 unit on our South Island journey.

Very comfortable, good pub meals, friendly, helpful staff, laundry facilities, and parking at the door.

The pleasant welcome evry time we went to reception! Ability to have our food waste go to the chickens! 1min walk to supermarket 5min walk to my sisters! Awesome location!

Very cozy and clean , good location , ry good staff

Because our room is right next to the road, the noise from passing vehicles in the early morning can be a bit disruptive to our sleep.

The motel was easy to find and access (with an access point onto the main road, but another access point onto the quieter street behind the motel. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was nicely made and cushions placed thoughtfully. All plates, glasses and cutlery we used were clean. The king-sized bed was a treat, but made better by perfect pillows and a firm mattress. We both slept very well. The room was quiet. There was no road noise at night. We were welcomed warmly and any requests or questions we asked were answered thoughtfully and promptly.

Nothing - it was all lovely

Bed was extremely comfortable, staff were so lovely and helpful. Rooms were clean and little extras of shampoo, etc is always nice, and a great location.

The unit was well appointed and comfortable. Awesome being so close to New World. The unit was better than we were expecting given the low cost. Would stay there again

Booked for my eldery parents. Very comfortable room and staff. Thanks from my parent

The motel room we were in was clean & tidy. Beds were comfortable and we really liked how dark it was in the bedrooms at night. Kitchen had all the things we needed during our stay. Staff member was friendly on arrival.

Fint overnatningssted til 1 overnatning på tur langs vestkysten- lå lige ved siden af en New World, så nemt til indkøb. Beliggende lidt udenfor centrum.

It was quiet and clean. A beautiful big comfy bed. Thank you

Close to the supermarket, a few doors down

Comfortable bed. Large room. Friendly staff. Convenient free parking.

Older motel but very clean, lots of room, good kitchen, huge comfy bed, good parking. Lovely staff - felt very welcome

Spacious, quiet and handy for supermarkets and liquor stores.

A long walk into town

You can tell the owners have been doing this a while - The Unit was spotless, it was BIG and that bed was very good. Clean and quiet and location convenient too. Loved the JEDS Coffee too and walking distance to the REC pub for a quick beer or supermarket / Domino Pizza next door. thank You guys.

Nothing it was perfect.

Very spacious and clean and staff very helpful, thank you. The bathroom was amazing, room and easy to move around in for my old dad, we really appreciated.

Nothing, it was a good deal also. Thank you again.

Even though it’s on a main road I found my room was quiet (no traffic noise). I liked that New World was next door.

I was a bit concerned that I would have to parallel park the car in front of my room but I was able to park while either the car in front or behind were not yet parked. So it worked.

Motel from the outside didn’t look too good BUT it was one of the best motels once inside! HUGE big rooms with absolutely everything catered for! It was just perfect for our two night stay. Easy walk to shops and restaurants 😊

Large and comfortable room with all the facilities we could need.

Great huge room, close to everything. Room was clean

After having recently stayed at a supposed Luxury Hotel the ammenities here were far superior. The room was clean, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The motel is well located with only a short drive to all you need,or in fine weather a good walk will put you in the midst of all the action.

Recently refurbished. Inside much nicer than the exterior of the motel suggests. Nice lounge. Close to town and supermarket. Good parking.

The unit was clean and tidy. A good location close to the town facilities.

Clean and comfortable. Good location

A tad dated

Room was spacious and clean with all facilities you need for self catering.

Nothing

Good location. Quiet. I recommend it to others who want a good value.

So clean, great location, really good size, large fridge and all the kitchen bits & pieces you need, and a lovely large bathroom.

?

location, clean

quite dated, but im ok with that

Everything 😁 Staff were fabulous; apartment was very comfortable, impeccably clean and well presented. Everything we needed was available.

Nothing to see here Only disappointment was we didn’t stay longer

Well presented unit, quiet and peaceful. Great size and presented bathroom along with good size unit.

Staff was friendly. Good location. Bed and pillows were firm but was good for us :) It is a "dated" motel, but it was comfortable.

Latches on the windows didn't close properly. Outside the room needs a good clean.

Full apartment for great price. Newly remodeled. Great binder with things to do and menus.

Great welcoming staff, awesome location. Homely units with all you need.

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful.

great motel.

Clean, spaciousness, comfortable
