Das Pine Trees Hotel ist ein wunderschönes, charmantes Herrenhaus in einer traumhaften und unglaublich ruhigen Umgebung. Ich liebe solche historischen Häuser, und besonders der Bar- und Restaurantbereich wurde wunderschön und stilvoll restauriert, ohne dass der ursprüngliche Charakter des Hauses verloren gegangen ist. Unser Zimmer war eher klein, aber sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Das Bett war ausgesprochen bequem. Das Badezimmer war allerdings sehr klein und sowohl dort als auch im Zimmer hätten wir uns etwas mehr Ablageflächen gewünscht. Das Abendessen war für uns insgesamt eher durchschnittlich. Leider wirkte der Service am Abend etwas überfordert. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich und sichtlich bemüht, dennoch entsprach der Ablauf nicht ganz dem Serviceniveau, das wir uns in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie gewünscht hätten. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war unser Eindruck deutlich besser: Der Service war aufmerksam und angenehm und wir konnten die wunderschöne, ruhige Atmosphäre des Hauses nochmals richtig geniessen. Insgesamt ist das Pine Trees vor allem wegen des besonderen Gebäudes, der stilvollen Atmosphäre und der herrlich ruhigen Lage einen Aufenthalt wert. Wir haben die besondere Atmosphäre dieses wunderschönen Hauses sehr genossen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat für uns jedoch nicht ganz gestimmt. Gemessen am Preis hätten wir uns sowohl beim Zimmer als auch beim Abendessen und Service etwas mehr erwartet.

Wij waren in 2003 hier voor het laatst met mijn intussen overleden moeder. Voor ons een emotioneel verblijf dat door alles wat dit hotel te bieden heeft, werd ondersteund. De verbouwing is enorm goed gelukt, zeer luxe en veel comfort, zeer hartelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten. We hadden een prachtige suite in het hoofdhuis met alle denkbare comfort.

Niet van invloed op de score (zou niet fair zijn) maar ook dit hotel zet een 'vrijwillige' fooi intussen op de rekening (ca. 10%). Zonder meer verdiend maar wij vonden dit een nogal Amerikaanse methode. Daardoor het bij deze 19% gelaten, zou hoger geweest zijn als dit niét op de tekening had gestaan. Jammer.

L'établissement est une merveille. La décoration est soignée dans les moindres détails, le personnel est à l'écoute, souriant et très chaleureux. La chambre était incroyable. Tout est beau, élégant, raffiné. Nous avons dîné un soir sur place, c'était parfait également. L'Ecosse est chère pour nous, et cet établissement était vraiment incroyable dans son rapport qualité-prix. Le meilleur de tout notre séjour.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, der Empfang war herzlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in einem der Nebenhäuser. Überall stehen kleine Aufmerksamkeiten, von denen man sich über den Tag verteilt etwas nehmen kann (Gebäck, Chips, Getränke etc.). Das Bett war sehr bequem. Zudem ist man schnell im Zentrum von Pitlochry.

Dafür, dass scheinbar alles frisch renoviert wurde, gab es kleine Mängel. Die Sauberkeit lässt ebenfalls stellenweise zu wünschen übrig. Bei dieser Preisklasse (knapp 300€ die Nacht in der niedrigsten Kategorie) eigentlich nicht akzeptabel. Zudem hat man im Nebengebäude auch nur bedingt WLAN, worauf man sich in einem Land wie Schottland wirklich verlässt.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Es ist ein wunderschön renoviertes Haus mit einzigartigen Zimmern. Wir haben ein unerwartetes Upgrade erhalten, über das wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Es war super sauber und tatsächlich das beste Hotel auf unserer Schottlandreise. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Very well put together property overall. Stunning scenery and warm, luxurious interior decor work well together and make for a very relaxing experience. Room was fantastic overall.

No laundry, but that’s a minor drawback as there is a self serve laundromat within town (TLC) that was very accessible.

Τhe location is ideal, at the end of the Pitlochry village, which serves as a convenient base for Glencoe exploration. The room is very nice, spacious with beautiful furniture, a quite large bed, seating area and a desk. Breakfast included a buffet and a lacarte options and the dinner was very nice with local products.

The wifi was poor. The room could include a power adaptor or a usb charger for non UK appliances.

There were lots of lovely little touches such as a residents lounge on the staircase landing with water, snacks etc. Good tolietries and again lots of nice touches such as a bottle of water in the room.

This is luxurious there is no doubt, but it does lack a warmth about it. Specific dog accommodation is excessively expensive, but the decor is lush.

Some of the waiting staff were disorganised. The coach house rooms were nice but id expect air con for £400 a night.

Lovely hotel which has a 'mini Gleneagles' feel to it. The rooms had a luxury feel and the fixtures and fittings all felt that real care and attention to detail had been taken when the hotel was last upgraded. Staff were friendly and the food was good.

It felt like the hotel was short-staffed. The staff who were there looked stretched and that slowed service down and added a slightly chaotic feel at times. It also meant that the breakfast buffet was not kept stocked. The staff who were on duty worked hard though to compensate.

I was unlucky with a room that was on top of the kitchen, so the fan from the kitchen caused the entire room floor to vibrate between 6:30am and 10pm. That caused me to wake up earlier than intended.

Lovely big bath but no hot water to have a bath at night or next morning which was very disappointing. Staff made aware but unable to resolve so did not feel got full use of facilities we paid for hot water us a basic amenity in any basic room and this was supposed to be a luxury room It would have been nice to relax in bath after a long day out. No compensation offered by hotel. . No milk on arrival alerted staff and was provided a while later to have with hot drink . No tea bags on tray in room empty labeled jar again a basic on any hospitality tray Could improve lighting at dressing table in cupboard as uable to do make up as to dark. Lovely hotel but attention to detail not there were several areas which could easily be improved upon without a lot of added cost or a lot of effort that would elevate the experience for the guest and ensure returning customers. Have stayed several times in Pitlochry and other hotels offering more for less cost

Ontbijt was constant niet aangevuld. Duurt erg lang als je je eten besteld met ontbijt. Niemand vh personeel die je feliciteert met je verjaardag terwijl ze weten dat je jarig bent. Erg onpersoonlijk. Bedden zijn erg hard en klein

Tout était parfait, le personnel était tout le temps à l’écoute, toujours souriants, rien à dire sur la propreté avec de magnifiques décorations, j’ai passé un incroyable séjour, je recommande fortement si vous voulez passer un moment de rêve dans un hôtel luxueux.

Nos encantó la estancia en Pine Trees Hotel Pitlochry. La ubicación es fantástica, la decoración tiene muchísimo gusto y todo el hotel transmite ese encanto escocés que esperas encontrar en las Highlands. El trato fue excelente, muy amable y cercano, y nuestra habitación nos pareció preciosa, cómoda y muy cuidada. En conjunto, fue una estancia realmente especial y un sitio al que volveríamos encantados.

Sólo señalaríamos dos pequeños detalles. El primero, que quizá deberían avisar de que, si se abre la ventana por la noche, pueden entrar bastantes mosquitos, algo bastante habitual en esta zona de Escocia. Y el segundo, que siendo un hotel de este nivel esperábamos quizá un desayuno algo más completo o variado, aunque hay que decir que todo lo que probamos estaba realmente delicioso y de muy buena calidad.

Wow, we knew the Pine Trees would be beautiful and beautiful it is. Attention to detail, design and quality is very obvious and in abundance throughout. A very warm welcome on arrival and a lovely upgrade to Heatherbank Cottage in the grounds for our 3 night stay. Absolutely perfect thank you. So cosy and comfortable. The breakfast room/dining room is gorgeous. Breakfasts each morning and dinner on one night have been delicious. Great staff. Anka was lovely and helpful and made our evening dining experience a pleasure. Definitely more than a hotel stay, it's an experience and we're so glad we've had it this weekend. Recommend to all.

Excellent hotel, beautiful setting and fantastic food in the restaurant at both breakfast and the evening meal. Great service from the bar staff on the terrace too.

Room 5, where I stayed, was excellent. Room 6, which I booked for my parents, is an equally lovely room but has one significant drawback: the kitchen extractor/air-conditioning unit directly below is very audible inside it. The vibration was strong enough to vibrate the chair by the window and rattle the glasses on the table beside it. This jarred against the peaceful nature of the rest of the hotel, and was hard to overlook at the price of the room. The fan did switch off overnight, but was running again by 6am. A member of reception came up to see the problem, which I appreciated, though nothing could be done about it. I would happily stay in the hotel again, but would request specifically to avoid room 6.

Alt! Charmen, beliggenheden i den mest idylliske landsby , velkomstgaver med lokal whisky og gin. Det yderst omsorgsfulde personale var behagelige og serviceminded og den exceptionelle morgenmad med traditionel skotsk og engelsk morgenmad lavet helt fra bunden var en stor oplevelse . Selv havregrøden var noget helt særligt.

At vi desværre kun havde booket én nat.

Die Hotelanlage und die Zimmer sind äusserst geschmack- und liebevoll gestaltet.

Das Frühstück (Buffer und zusätzliche Frühstückkarte) war sehr gut, leider war das Personal an diesem Morgen sehr beschäftigt, so dass das Buffet nicht mehr aufgefüllt werden konnte und die Auswahl sehr spärlich war.

Pinetrees is an exceptional hotel. Located in magnificent grounds above Pitlochrie, it is a calm oasis in this busy town. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Dining is in lovely surroundings. Bedroom and facilities are very clean.

The water temperature in the shower and bathroom sink was disappointingly low. Filling the incredible bath would have pointless it would have been too cold- a pity as the hotel's advertising uses pictures of a running bath as an allure!!!

The property was nestled in a quiet woodland area which was very relaxing. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very calming relaxing and tranquil. The rooms had all the amenities you need and more.

I liked everything

We enjoyed the breakfast and the wonderful treats supplied each day. Also the tea you provided was the best we had in all of Scotland. Excellent!

Restaurant in the evening didn’t offer vegetables and the limited menu with the absence of salmon, rebound for in this area , was absent . B

Lovely building. Nice rooms. Well kept. Friendly staff. Good views. Got a great “happy anniversary” on chocolate plate for dessert. Good reception on arrival. Nice staff who were attentive.

Slight confusion over the food and drinks bill as their system was a bit clunky. It would be better if you signed a slip of paper and they were totted up at the end. Instead we had complimentary drinks charged for, cocktails put through as food etc. Breakfast staff needed to be more on point as our coffee never arrived until we reminded them. Same for our breakfast order which was forgotten.

The Pine Trees is a gorgeous hotel in the most stunning location. The facilities and decor are superb. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning soon.

Full of spiderwebs. Very, very cramped. No trash cans. Hardly any towels. Very suffocating.

This property was gorgeous. The outdoor setting was lovely, but the Inside was the star. Everything was beautifully decorated and well-appointed. I took decorating inspiration photos all over the hotel. My daughter loved the room decor so much that she tried to track it down online.

First of all, the hotel felt understaffed, or at least the staff who helped us seemed frazzled. It felt like there were either staff who didn’t come in to work that day, or perhaps new trainees were running the show. We had a very slow check-in process. The girl attending the desk had to go talk to her manager no less than four times before we finished payment and received our room keys. We also had issues in the restaurant. The wait staff seemed very stressed out. Some of our dishes turned out well, others not so much. My daughter and I ordered the exact same chicken dish. Mine came out well-prepared, but hers came out so overcooked that we had to send it back. Finally, the room I slept in (which was in one of the cottages) was so hot. There were two tower fans in the room, which I thought would be sufficient to cool it to a nice sleeping temperature, but the bedding was so warm that I had more trouble sleeping at our night at Pine Trees Hotel than I had at any of the other three places we stayed during our vacation, including ones that weren’t nearly as fancy or nice. The mattress in our room was also incredibly hard.

The actual hotel was lovely and inviting. As our room was not ready on arrival, we were given complimentary drinks from the bar. It was a last minute booking for them and was understandable.

I had booked a mansion suite room. We were given a coach house cottage which although was a good standard wasn’t what we booked and paid for.

The hotel / staff were extremely attentive to my request for my partners 30th birthday, everyone wished him a happy birthday and the room was kindly decorated, it made it so special!

Intoxication alimentaire avec des oeufs pas frais au petit déjeuner, malade pendant 3 jours. Pas de climatisation, impossible de dormir avec cette chaleur. La chambre donnant sur le parking (bien que marqué vue jardin), impossible d’ouvrir les rideaux (pas de voilage) à cause du vis à vis, donc on reste dans le noir.

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It offers the perfect atmosphere for peace and relaxation, and the entire village is absolutely breathtaking. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and respectful. Their exceptional hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience.

The position of the hotel was .exceptional. The staff and cleanliness were well above average.

The menu didn't change all week. There was no offer of transport to the town although the hotel is at the top of a steep hill. For older residents without a car this was a problem.

Fabulous hotel, it feels as if your in the country although you’ve very near the town. We only had an overnight stay on the way to the Lake District but wish we could have stayed longer.

absolutely astonishing interior in lobby, bar and restaurant. rooms are also very well designed with a lot attention to details. the remote and quiet surrounding in the mid of a little park is a real plus restaurant has a small but good menu and a great cocktail and whisky list

staff is very mixed, some are really kind and helpful others simple overstrained. this beautiful place does not make use of its plenty of options, no wellness area, gym, jacuzzi, yoga deck. no maintenance of the outdoor sitting area, no fire place... whisky and some board games is not enough to feel really home and want to stay a bit longer at the premises. bed is rather hard (no typical British box spring bed), at least for now everything is new and well maintained

Das Hotel ist wirklich schön eingerichtet. Zimmer, Essensräume, Bar, Eingang, wirklich alles sieht gut aus.

Generell wirken die Mitarbeiter vor Ort etwas überfordert, egal in welcher Abteilung. So schön dass Hotel innen auch ist, im Aussenbereich fehlt die Liebe.

The heating in our room was very challenging - 26 degrees at midnight which meant we had to request a fan upon returning to our room.

Loved everything about this hotel. Very classy and fab location, tucked away from the main thoroughfare of Pitlochry. Fab breakfast selection and really enjoyed their pantry/snack area for guests. Five star!

De kamer, het personeel, de locatie waren allemaal prima. We waren hier dan ook al eerder geweest dus wisten waar we voor terug kwamen.

Vergeleken met vorig jaar is de keuken aanzienlijk minder. De tweede avond hebben we dan ook niet in het hotel gegeten.

A lot of communication in advance of stay but when I emailed to ask a question, I didn’t get a response. Slightly odd check in experience.

The interior throughout the hotel is so beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! The bed was insanely comfortable and the location of the hotel was great - a short walk from town but out of the busy areas. The food was delicious and you could tell all the ingredients were high quality and locally sourced.

The only negative would be that if you arrived a wee bit later in the breakfast window, there wasn't much of the continental options left.
