Loved this town and the location of the hotel in it. It felt less busy and crowded then Positano. The long beach here is beautiful and the hotels proximity to a quiet end of it was very nice. Breakfast was great.

La struttura è un poco datata andrebbe ristrutturata, le porte, le mattonelle ecc avevano delle parti rotte, i letti erano scomodi e i cuscini troppo bassi, l'aspiratore in bagno andava pulito meglio.

Locatie is geweldig en verder schoon en netjes en goede bedden. Verder niet zo druk als Amalfi maar wel mogelijkheden om alles te bezichtigen dus perfect!

Nagyon közel volt a tengerpart ez előny volt számunkra, viszont a nyílászárók nem voltak a legjobb zaj kizárós, emiatt több olyan éjszakánk is volt amikor nem pihentünk kellemesen.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious, and the view from our room was simply fabulous. During Ferragosto, I had the incredible experience of watching the fireworks right from our room, and I still miss being there! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and polite, which made our stay even more special. This was truly one of the best vacations we have ever had. I would also highly recommend Maiori over many of the other places along the Amalfi Coast. While some of the more famous towns can be extremely crowded, Maiori felt more relaxed, beautiful, and authentic. It was simply **wow** — a wonderful experience that I will never forget!

Location was amazing The balcony was gorgeous with sensational views. The staff at all times were extremely helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and pillows. The buffet breakfast was a 9/10. We did fall in love with Maiori it’s a very pretty little town.

Hotel czysty, a to jest dla mnie bardzo ważne, personel uprzejmy i chętny do pomocy. Lokalizacja kapitalna - widok z balkonu na morze i dużą - jak na włoskie warunki bezpłatną publiczną plażę.

Fakt, że za parking trzeba dodatkowo zapłacić i to nie mało - 20e za dobę.

Location and proximity to beach. Look at the map and you seem to think it’s very far from everything, but it’s not. Room was lovely and clean, view was amazing,bathroom was fabulous. Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful.

Room doors need updating, both main door and balcony doors. No bar for evening, no pool, obviously the beach is very close, but €35-€45 daily for 2 sunloungers and an umbrella should be included in price. Reception area is too small, and the 2 small lifts need updating.

Beautiful location and very helpful and kind hiotel staff. The view from our room was absolutely amazing,. Delicious breakfast was served every morning and they also provided beach towels every day. Everything was superb. Thank you!

Die Lage ist hervorragend – nur einmal über die Straße und schon ist man am Strand. Gleichzeitig ist es angenehm ruhig. Trotzdem ist man mitten im Geschehen: Zahlreiche sehr gute Restaurants sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch die Fähre (ca. 1,3 km) sowie der Busbahnhof sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Natascha. Sie war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts unglaublich zuvorkommend, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Solch einen Service erlebt man selten. Als Überraschung zu unserer Hochzeitsreise erwarteten uns bei der Ankunft eine Flasche Prosecco, eine persönliche Karte, eine liebevolle Dekoration mit Handtüchern sowie kleine Snacks auf dem Zimmer. Darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut und es hat unseren Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt: Obwohl wir bereits gegen Mittag ankamen und Hochsaison war, konnten wir unser Zimmer schon beziehen. Das war für uns eine tolle Überraschung und überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich. Es standen ausreichend Handtücher zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team – insbesondere an Natascha – für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!

Nossa estadia no Hotel Sole Splendid foi impecável. Desde o momento da chegada fomos recebidos com muita atenção e carinho. Como estávamos em lua de mel, nos surpreenderam com uma linda carta de boas-vindas desejando felicidades pelo casamento, um gesto simples, mas que tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. Além disso, o hotel é excelente: equipe extremamente atenciosa, quarto confortável, tudo muito limpo e uma localização perfeita. Foi um dos pontos altos da nossa viagem pela Costa Amalfitana. Agradecemos por fazerem parte de um momento tão importante das nossas vidas. Recomendo sem hesitar!

The reception staff is friendly the hotel is clean the only comment is the breakfast we have to pay for fresh orange juice and omelette or any other eggs other than scrambled and boiled eggs that are in the buffet, limited cheese also no permigiano cheese

A wonderful place to stay by the sea. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Si tratta di un hotel vecchio con parziale rifacimenti. Aria condizionata vetusta anche se funzionante,m ma non regolabile. Televisione piccola con telecomando non funzionante. Pulizia appena sufficiente. Bagno molto scomodo con piccolo lavandino e assenza di ganci per asciugamani. Garage con movimentazioni fatte dal personale. Non c'è ristorante in struttura. Il value for money è basso, visto il prezzo salato pagato.

Great property, great location and beautiful views from our room. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We would definitely recommend and would return in the future.

The hotel is beachfront and close to all the things Maiori has to offer. We had a pleasant stay. The air conditioning worked well and the room was cool. Breakfast was quite good and served from 7.30am which was helpful when starting the day early.

We found the beds very firm.

A great hotel, right on the beach, perfect location at the end of Maiori, fantastic view from the room. Staff was very friendly and assisted us with reservations and advice for connections to the other villages around. Special rates for the sunbeds and umbrellas in the beach. Free towels provided.

Can't beat this location, the beach is right in front of the hotel, it also has an incredible restaurant attached and you can walk to all the restaurants, beach bars, playgrounds etc. Excellent town to stay in on the Amalfi coast. I highly recommend for families or anyone looking for the ideal base for the coast. Easy access from Naples train station or airport. If you get a room with a sea view it's incredible! The hotel has an outstanding breakfast and they are even flexible if you need to eat early for a tour or to catch a flight. The entire staff we encountered was incredibly kind and helpful. Gave excellent restaurant recommendations, even made reservations for us before we arrived. We really really loved our time here and would definitely stay here again. Our room was very large. We got a room with a queen bed and a sofa bed. The queen bed had its own room and terrace. The sofa bedroom also had its own terrace as well as a desk and the fridge. The bathroom was very large!

I wish they had a siesta bar offering for the late afternoons. We also head to our room with the kids during those late afternoon/early evening hours when it's really hot and it would be great to be able to grab some drinks in AC. That was the only downside.

The location was super. It was easy to visit another cities as well. Beach in front was perfect, clean water and sand. Breakfast was rather good.

The hotel is located at the end of a very nice promenade right across from the beach. Rooms are ok except that every room entry door closes so loud that can be heard from the other end of the hallway. Besides that breakfast ok, friendly stuff.

A szálloda nem mai darab, szerintem már régen volt 4 csillagos, de az elhelyezkedése jó. A parton külön fizetős helyen lehet ágyat és napernyőt bérelni, de van szabad strand rész is. Nagyon jó volt a reggeli. A szállodához közel vannak éttermek, bárok stb. Autónak van parkoló, de foglalni kell! Pár perces sétára van a hajó állomás, ahonnan az Amalfi part körbe hajózható.

A felszereltség egy kicsit elavult, de azért még elfogadható.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location for the Amalfi coast, Ravello etc. Great helpful staff, simple self service breakfast with plenty of choice and a nice beach club a 2 minute walk away. We had a sea facing room with balcony which was great for the views. The place is quite dated but has obviously had a pretty thorough remodling in the last 10 years, air con was powerful, blackouts worked, lifts good, bathroom good. Again all top end of basic. Bus stop 5 min walk away, the town of Maiori 10 mins - worth visiting Mammato1890 for good value pizza / pasta. The only thing that the hotel could do with is an evening bar or hospitality on site.

Beautiful Views, Warm Staff, and Total Relaxation.  Highly recommended. We stayed at Hotel Sole Splendid for almost a week while visiting the Amalfi Coast, and our experience was truly wonderful. The staff answered our questions promptly before we arrived, which made planning easier. Our Family Room had two balconies with breathtaking views of the sea and coastline. The room was spotless, relaxing, and spacious enough for our family of three. The common areas were bright and welcoming. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. They assisted us with tour arrangements and kept us well informed throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, offering both sweet and savory options, including fresh pastries, local cheeses, cold cuts, and homemade jams. The restaurant recommendations from the staff were spot‑on—we enjoyed authentic flavors from the region every night. If you’re arriving by ferry, the hotel is located at the end of the main road, about a 15‑minute walk from the port. For those with luggage, a porter service is available at the port for a very reasonable price. The hotel sits directly across from the beach, with easy access just steps away. We spent time there almost every day. We loved our stay in Maiori—the beachfront, the town center, the shops, bars, and restaurants are all easily walkable. Watching local children play and seeing the interactions among residents added a charming, authentic feel to the town. Many of the shops and restaurants are still family‑owned, creating a warm community atmosphere. For anyone seeking sea views, relaxation, and comfort in one of the most beautiful places on the Amalfi Coast, I highly recommend Hotel Sole Splendid. Its beautiful location, clean and calming atmosphere, and warm, friendly staff made our stay unforgettable.

Gyönyörő helyen van közel a part segítőkész személyzet!

Négyen voltunk kaptunk egy szobát kb kettő áráért a nappaliban széthuztak egy ágyat a gyerekeknek 20 ill 22 évesek. De ami a legfelháborítóbb volt a szoba és a nappali között leszedték az ajtót csak atokja volt ott.

Widok z pokoju jest absolutnie fantastyczny. Dzięki temu, że hotel jest położony bardziej obok, nie ma głównej drogi nad balkonami i jest cicho. Nie pozostaje nic innego jak tylko odpoczywać wieczorami na balkonie.

מלון נחמד מאוד, ממש על הים, חוף פחות מ-100 מ', ארוחת בוקר עשירה ביותר, גבינות בשפע וממש טעים. החדר שלנו היה בקומה אחד וללא מרפסת, נוף לים אמנם, אך בכל זאת ממליץ מכל הלב להזמין חדר עם מרפסת לכיוון הים. עיר נחמדה מאוד. הגענו עם רכב, טיילנו בחופים ובערים הסמוכות, לדעתי מאיורי (עיירה) הכי נוחה מכל מה שראינו. מלון מחזיק בחניה פרטית (ממש של המלון), הם אמנם גובים תשלום על החניה (20 יורו לילה) וזה לא ראוים במועד הזמנה, אך היינו כבר רגילים לזה בטיולים קודמים בארץ המגף.

Even dough the hotel was from the 60's, the rooms were very nice, the balcony had a splendid view and our overall stay was great. You can admire the see and next to the hotel is a great restaurant, Neptune, wich is a great value for money and the food is fantastic.

Very quiet location, far away from the madness. Proximity to the SITA bus stop makes it easy to take transport to Amalfi, Positano without breaking sweat of narrow mountain roads and crazy Italian driving

Es wird viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft und Qualität gelegt wird. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt und konnten unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer müsste modernisiert werden und ein Problem ist die Lautstärke von dem Verkehr von draußen.

Mi habitación era standar, el baño era muy viejo, un ruido cada rato del WC, no dejaba descansar...y perchas solo 4 en el armario, aunque pedí más no me dejaron.

Un po’ fatiscente e senza un bar per bere qualcosa

Tisztaság volt, a szobából gyönyörű a kilátás a tengerre, a fürdőszoba nagyon rendben volt, és remek a hotel elhelyezkedése. A szobaasszonyok, egy hölgy a reggeliztetésnél és a recepción Natasha nagyon kedvesek és aranyosak voltak.

A szoba hangszigetelése sajnos nulla, a szomszéd szobából és a folyosóról a beszéd egy az egyben hallatszott, éjszaka is, az utcazaj pedig mintha nyitva lett volna az erkély ajtó. Voltak csendesebb éjszakák (vendég függő), és zajosabbak.. Minden tökéletes lett volna, ha a szobában rendesen tudunk pihenni, aludni.

Okay this was the best shower we have had in Europe so far after 16 hotels. The room was clean and the breakfast was okay with lots of options. The front desk staff was very sweet.

I hate early checkouts at 10 AM. That's just crazy. They should be illegal. They need to get better pillows.

Our Sea View room balcony was amazing! The room was clean, bright, and spacious. The breakfast was very good. Lots of variety. Gaetano did a wonderful job making us feel welcome and he went above and beyond to give us great service.

the hotel was close to the beach and only a few minutes to walk to reach downtown Maiori the closest bus station was appr 5 min to walk and the harbour around 15 min we had a room with view to the ocean - really relaxing in the pre season the team was friendly and fast the room was clean also the shower and the toilet the breakfast was good and you could find something for everybody

the coffee was not on thie typical high quality level like in the most Italien bars - but this is complainign on high level the juice was not fresh - but ok
