Great location, 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle, next door to a pub, across the road from a shop, just perfect.

Couple of fixings were loose and chair was wonky but that’s being very pedantic, it was no issue at all.

The room was good for 3 of us, it had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay in Derry. The location was walkable to shops and restaurants and quiet at night. Parking was close by and not expensive.

The rooms are a lovely surprise after the reception area. They are clean and large. Good fresh cooked breakfast.

I really liked the location of the inn. It's very close to the Derry~Londonderry train station and is pretty much walkable (we even had heavy luggage with us). The staff are also quite friendly, though they're not often present at the front desk in the reception area and need to be contacted by phone or by ringing the bell. We did not have any breakfast, so I can't say anything about that. The rooms were pretty neat (there weren't any cobwebs anywhere, which was greatly appreciated) and comfy, and I loved how they accommodated extra bedding for kids. There's even an essential grocery store right in front of the inn if you need anything in your room. All in all, the place has a cosy vibe to it, and it's not too far from the city centre and the station, which is a great plus!

Our room was on the second floor, and since they didn't have any lifts, it was quite difficult to get our luggage up. There's also no porterage service, though the staff do help you if you request it. Another thing that could've been done better was the noise in the room. Since there's no air-con in the room, we had to open our windows so that it wouldn't be too hot at night, which made sleeping difficult since there's a lot of noise coming from the cars driving on the street.

Great staff. Welcoming and warm. Made breakfast to our taste. Accommodating baby needs.

Hard to bathe baby since it has a standing shower instead of a bath. It has a power shower which means difficulty adjusting temperature when starting or stopping it. .

Location is on a busy road so unloading the luggage was a little difficult. Staff were excellent and gave us some valuable information about the town.

Room was a little noisy being on a major road. Safe parking was available close by and Derry is an interesting town to see as a tourist and access to historical features is free.

We had a lovely room and the staff and food were very good.

Loved our stay at Iona Inn. We asked for an early check in and the staff very kindly informed us that yes no problem . The room was spacious ( double bed), clean and we had a great shower too. Breakfast was delicious in the morning ( full Irish Fry) . We will definitely be back again .

The noise from other doors and rooms was awful. Locks, old doors meant constant noise and banging late at night when we needed to sleep

Booked a family room for 4 adults. Room was spacious and clean just what we needed. Tonya was lovely and any questions we had she was able to answer and keep us right about where we were going, parking etc. Great spot.

Very central location, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and all the facilities were high quality.

The breakfast was Amazing, everything covered and the Irish breakfast was cooked to perfection.

We were a bit cold when we got back from the bar and couldn't turn the heat on. But when we woke up the place was lovely and warm, must have been on a timer.

We checked in late and Taylor was very helpful to us, it was central enough and warm

The breakfast was not good, the brown bread was almost stale, the pancakes were stuck together they were so cold and the worst part was that we were given a half slice of toast each (there were 3 of us) with our fry up, that’s one and a half slices of toast between 3 people, I asked for more toast and got the same again, I asked a third time and the lady gave me a very disapproving look and reluctantly gave us some more, we ended up with just 2 slices of toast each … that should’ve been available to us from the outset,

le point négatif est le prix de la nuit, plutôt excessif mais en période de festival Halloween donc ça s'explique.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. Location, we came right as the Halloween festival was ending which made it easy to the parade and fireworks! Loved the Castle key for the doors as well!

The receptionist went above and beyond for us, we were so greatful. Our room was lovely and warm and beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean, well decorated and breakfast was very tasty.

Fantastic b&b, spotless throughout, all staff were really pleasant. Tonya was lovely and couldn't do enough for us, allowed us a late checkout because we were attending an event that didn't start till 1pm, we will definitely be back!

Lady at the front desk was very helpful, rooms were clean, quiet area, not too far from the city centre.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good bedding. Breakfast was good also though I’m not keen on fizzy orange instead of fresh orange. The location is just over the bridge so an easy walk into the town centre.

The room overlooks a busy road so was a little noisy and not a great view.
