Palazzo Carletti

The history, architecture, art-fresco on the ceiling of our room was spectacular. The amenities in the room & breakfast in the gathering room were beyond expectations. All that plus the personalized attention from the staff made our trip incredibly memorable & we hope to return.

Die Anfahrt ins Parkhaus in der Altstadt ist nicht einfach. Leider war aus Kapazitätsgründen kein Frühstück zubuchbar.

This is the 18th c. stately home (palazzo) of the Carlettis, brought back to life with every modern comfort. It has 25-foot ceilings with original frescoes and stunning views.

Loved everything about it.

Palazzo Carletti was magnificent - we loved every moment. Veronica was incredibly kind and helpful and went out of her way to make our stay wonderful (including coming into our car to direct us to the parking!). The room and living room were luxurious and the breakfast was delicious. Fantastic location as well! Our stay was perfect, it allowed us to celebrate an important milestone in style :)

Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and even comical. Room was beautiful. and the location was incredible for walking to pretty much anywhere in the town.

The location itself is beautiful, everything is new or almost new, in the center if the ciry. This is a very old beautiful building which was completely renovated. Staff is very attentive and helpfull, they do anything they can in order to help. Driving to this location is very difficult, also the parking was very difficult to reach , streets are extremely narrow and steep. Rooms are very well equiped, everything is new, air conditioning is working very well . Special thanks to Veronica, she was great helping us with parking and baggage.

The fact that for our room - in the anex- we did not have the right to buy breakfast. They say that there are not enough tables in the main building which is ridiculous, people do not eat at the exact same time. It was like in the main building they served the masters and we- in the anex- had no acces... Not a big deal in normal time, but this summer- with 40 degrees outside and no airconditioning in coffee shops- it was a real big problem. They could think about something simple- like serving a croisant..., but the way they rejected us was not normal. An other small but disturbing thing is that lights in bathroom and toilet are automaticaly turn on when you enter , without the possibility to turn them down. This is very disturbing at night , when going to the toilet will wake everyone... Rooms facing the main street are very noisy until late in the night and also starting at 6:30 in the morning. So ask for a room with a view to the beautiful nature of Tuscany.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The ceilings are incredible. The staff (Veronica) was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was cute, cappuccino was amazing. In room coffee machine, ice machine, a fridge stocked with drinks for free was a nice surprise. The view was amazing. Location was perfect too. A few steps away to food and shops!

The property is gorgeous. The room is large with walking closet and safe. Also coffee machine and ice maker in its own closet. The bathroom has a spacious shower for two. Complimentary liquor was available in the common area for free. Breakfast was generous with cooked eggs. The frescoes were all around including the ceiling in our room.

Getting to the hotel using GPS was a challenge. By mistake we found the P6 parking the hotel uses. We parked the car and phoned for help and a few minutes later were met by a wonderful lady who helped with the bags and led us to the hotel. It was only about a 5 minute walk, but easy when you know where you are going.

The staff!!!! Irena and Veronica were lovely. So kind and welcoming. Felt like we were staying in their home. Breakfast was very nice. Room was peaceful and comfortable. Great location.

מלון מיוחד מאוד - מעבר ללהיות מקום לינה מפנק, מספק חוויה מיוחדת - לחיות בארמון היסטורי יפיפה. החדר היה מדהים עם נוף מקסים, מרפסת מאוד יפה, מיקום נוח וחניה קרובה ונוחה. צוות שירותי מאוד.

Habitación muy cómoda, buen tamaño, vestidor amplio, baño grande con doble ducha. Todo lo que estaba en el frigobar era para consumo libre. Ubicación dentro del casco histórico de Montepulciano.

Si bien no es grave, es bueno saber que el parking esta a unos 150mts del hotel y que para llegar desde el parking hay bastante subida, algunas escaleras y dentro del edificio el hotel esta en un primer piso por escalera. No hay personal permanente en el hotel, despues de hora se ingresa con clave.

Breakfaat was superb. Service was exceptional . great selection of fruit meat cheese eggs pastries etc

Einfach alles: hervorragende Betreuung zur Anreise, die Ausstattung wie beschrieben, alles mit einem deutlichen Hauch von Luxus, liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail. Wunderschön. Und in einer tollen Lage mitten in der Altstadt.

What a beautiful hotel with so much character and fantastic amenities. For American travelers, the ice maker in each room was a huge bonus! The location was very convenient to all the dining and shopping in Montepulciano and free parking was extremely helpful. The staff were absolutely fantastic - cheerful and professional and helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations. Would highly recommend.

Rooms were very comfortable, large, and complete with amenities! It also had a loft room that was important when traveling with our adult son

Such a unique stay. Staff were so kind. Room was wonderful. Next time I would request the room with the Balcony though. They made us a lovely Vegan Breakfast.

Exceptional breakfast - very generous and fresh. When my friend and I needed to catch a taxi before breakfast was served. Veronica made us a breakfast to go that was delicious. The location is central to the whole town of Montepulciano.

Старый палацио в центре города на пешеходной улице, но номер тихий, совершенно новый, есть всё необходимое. Очень красивый рецепшн. Персонал заранее побеспокоился и прислал подробную инструкцию как приехать на парковку, которая в 5 мин от отеля. Мы в восторге!

The service was fantastic and the building was so cool to stay in!! Loved the experience! The staff told us a bit about the town and gave us recommendations and we thought the staff went above and beyond to help us have a positive stay, which we did!!

Parking could be a bit stressful, but the staff was eager to have our backs and help us which eased the stress a lot!

La pulizia, il secondo giorno al nostro rientro in stanza abbiamo trovato il letto rifatto, ma nella stanza non c’era stata data aspirapolvere o quantomeno spazzato per terra e questo non ci è piaciuto per niente!

Struttura bellissima, curata in ogni dettaglio. Personale molto attento e colazione buonissima. Posizione perfetta e molto comodo il parcheggio riservato.

Everything was very good. The room was amazing.

Staff could have been a bit more helpful with restaurant bookings and advise. Maybe the staff member was overwhelmed that day. The second person at the hotel was more helpful and friendly.

We loved everything about the Palazzo Carletti! Our host, room, amentities in the room, breakfast and location were amazing! This may be our new favorite hotel!

Everything was perfect! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Every morning they would take your order to custom make your breakfast to your specifications. There was and assortment of baked goods, meats and cheeses, yogurt with fruit, hard boiled eggs and excellent cappuccinos! The lobby area where they served breakfast was huge with 20' high painted ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows looking out over Montepulciano. The bedrooms were huge with 14' ceilings and large windows. Our bathroom was completely redone and gorgeous! The shower was a double with two sprayers on either side plus the overhead shower head. Really nice. Location was perfect. You walked out the door and had all of the shops and restaurants right there.

Everything was perfect, except for the car park, and that wasn't the hotel's fault. Montepulciano is very small, all of the streets are narrow, with many being one way. We couldn't find the car park to save ourselves. Finally, the manager said to us, " take a photo of where you are and I will come to you." We were very embarrassed, but they handed it. I highly recommend you arrive here by train and do not bring a car. Lesson learned.

Perfect boutique hotel in the city center. Couldn’t have had a better stay. Staff was great and rooms were beautiful.

This town is so amazingly beautiful and full of architecture, art and history. I felt like I was on a movie set all the time I was there. Lots of ambitious walking up and down hills. Be prepared with good walking shoes.

The location, interesting building, room set up & facilities were very good. The open bar / drinks trolley was a nice touch.

Breakfast was quite disappointing as there was a very limited selection and no hot food. There seemed to be no cooking facilities in the kitchen so everything appeared to come from packets. No decaf coffee or milk alternatives available. We know we are difficult to cater for as we are two coeliacs / gluten intolerance people plus also vegetarian but we have been able to have good breakfasts at the other Italian hotels during this vacation. The reserved parking in the city centre parking garage was very useful but did require a driver with nerves of steel, followed by, on foot, a short but strenuous hike up steep cobbled streets and two big flights of stairs, with suitcases bumping along behind us. No other option for this but be warned! It’s a good, physical work out, even for fit people.
