The motel was clean and quiet and close to restaurants. The staff were helpful but what was a surprise is they asked for a bond, which you get back when you leave, that was unexpected. Good place to stay for a night or two

The property was disgusting! A WINZ accommodation Motel that reflected a complete lack of respect for the property and any paying customers. Nothing about this property was appealing! I literally walked in and repacked my car and left for another Motel! I was happy to forfeit my $$ to be somewhere else!! incredibly disappointing as I have stayed here at least 3 other times (all work trips)...Never again and nor would I recommend it to anyone...

Good that this motel office was open up until 10pm and good they provided complementary milk .Otherwise there is nothing else good to say. Very old place which was due for an upgrade 20 yrs ago. I paid about $103 per night which was way too high a price for this motel. Spend an extra $20 and go somewhere else for a vast improvement in quality. Carpet and furniture was old, stained and tatty . Tv was blurry and a strain to watch. Other occupiers appeared to be permanent work and income clients looking like gangsters with dirty clothes, hoodys covering faces, and damn noisy cars visiting at all hours. I choose this place because wotif reviews gave property " excellent " status . This rating was a lie and makes me question using wotif. I have just spent 6 weeks travelling staying at hotels around nz every night . This place is the worst place I have ever stayed at, but if the product description was accurate and the price was much lower then perhaps one would not come away feeling ripped off

Hamilton was completely booked out, and over 30 phone calls later I was about to give up hope. 8.30pm and needing accomodation after a family member had been helicoptered to the Hospital there. The lovely man at Beetham Park said he had a room available with 3 beds that would fit us. He was very honest and said that currently the motel was being used as WINZ emergency accomodation. He said that the current tenants were respectful and would pose no problem. And if they did, he would be onsite overnight, and we could ring anytime. Didnt fill me with much hope, but I was very grateful for his honesty. Check In was next store at the Hygate Motor Lodge. The lovely gentleman had kept reception open until 10pm for us to check in. Lots of parking, including directly outside the unit. There were a few kids running around screaming outside, among the beaten up, unregistered unwarranted cars. However once inside, we didn't hear anything, including any road noise from the busy main arterial. Room was dated, and probably not as clean as it could have been, with cobwebs and hair. But the beds were comfortable, and the linen spotless. Good water pressure in the shower. Had a Sky Decoder, but could not get the TV to work at all. There seemed to be a cable missing. At $220 for the night, we found it to be SEVERELY overpriced, and probably taking advantage of a booked out city. I mean really, it was a dated room, in a emergency accomodation motel. Far to expensive for the product received. Probably would only give 2 stars, but have decided on 3 stars purely based on the Gentleman at Reception and his honesty and friendliness.

These are tired units. The shower over the bath leaked all over the floor. One lightbulb hAd blown in the lounge and the tv could not change channels. We finally got management to come and fix the tv but had to phone them and when they didn’t come after an hour we had to go to reception to find out why they hadn’t been over.

Room was clean. Had parking right outside our room. Bathroom was very old fashion but clean. Huge bed! Was a good stay for 1 night.

This was spacious, comfortable, clean, and fully functional. A grab-rail to allow easy access in and out of bath/shower would have made it safer.

Property was very good considering most rooms seemed to be occupied by what appeared to be semi-permanent families who had made themselves well at home. No reception necessitated going to next door motel which also wasn't open next morning when we had to check out. Not bad for the price for one night stay but need to know prior if motel is being used as emergency housing with full motel/reception facilities.

Beetham Park Motel Hamilton Relaxing 767391683 amazing...clean...relaxing...the shampoo made my hair silky soft...more than enough sugars coffees etc which is lacking in some places...super friendly...shower was like a massage 🙂🙂...definitely be recommending to others.

Room was fine, people at motel were very sketchy and noise at night (banging on doors and windows with loud arguing) was unsettling.

Place was nice clean and tidy but beware most guest are staying through winz. Full of broken down unregistered cars. Police visited in the morning. My take is if are going to provide winz accommodation dont mix in paying guests. Although we had very little issues with the other guests me and my wife dont work full time to pay lots cash for holiday to be put in social housing. 4 stars as it was clean and tidy but if I read the last review I would of stayed elsewhere as I want to stay with other tourists not in a social housing unit. *rant* Please dont take this as welfare bashing. I am ok paying taxes to help out the needy but putting people in motels seems crazy. Couldnt book another night in our rotorua hotel as that was getting fenced up to become another covid hotel. Kind of hard to support local economy with travel when a bunch of the hotel we stay in are becoming covid hotels and the motor lodges are full of winz clients.

Currently this motels primary business is to providing emergency housing. They continue to take bookings from the traveling public for the Very Few vacancies. Providing this housing service is necessary - and lucrative if you maintain near to full occupancy. It’s just not smart to put travelers/tourists in this motel under these conditions. Be aware. It cost us $$$$ in stolen property.

This place has the most amazingly comfy super king beds, then we woke up to great shower pressure and moccona coffee (not the usual hotel crappy coffee) will definitely be staying here whenever we are in Hamilton.

We were literally on our last night in New Zealand and didn’t want to overnight in Auckland so we just booked something on the way to crash. This place was much more tho! It was spacious and convenient, clean and very quiet! Got a bit confused at check in as you do so in the motel next door, but other than that, very very nice stay!

The room was quite spacious however there were two dead spiders in the room which I did inform the staff.

It was a positive experience. Arrived lare... left early. Beds were very comfortable.

I stayed in a large room with a sofa and kitchen area. Comfortable king size bed, good shower, efficient aircon, fast WiFi. Allocated parking space directly outside the door. Check-in was at the motel next door for some reason. About a 10 minute walk to a Pak’n Save supermarket.

Good-sized room, handy to everything. Parking arrangements not the best, not much room to manoevre but apart from that an ideal place to stay.

Mold in the bathroom 's ceilibg shpuld be removed.if the power of the water can be stronger ,will be nicer.

Stayed overnight on my way to New Plymouth from Whangarei.Comfortable room reasonably spacious. For some reason had to check in using reception at the motel next door.Reasonably modern styling. Entrance very difficult to sight as you drive along the road. Enjoyed my stay there.

We had a great one night stay here. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you need on hand. Would definitely stay here again.

There were no instructions of how to make up the single bed from the double couch and we found it difficult and time consuming. The electric blanket on the King bed did not work satisfactorily which was disappointing. Overall it was a nice unit for an overnight stay. Thanks. Patricia Hirst

We had a large, spacious studio for the night while our house was being renovated. Clean, comfortable, well equipped with a big TV. Bed was comfortable, the location quiet and parking was fine. Yes, we would stay again without hesitation

The unit was dated and the bathroom was cold with no form of heating or heated towel rail. The checkin required me to go to the motel next door as two motels are being run from one office. The standard of the unit and the surrounds is well below what I would expect for the overnight rate I paid.

Was suppose to be staying with relatives but at last minute had to find a place to stay. Beetham Park Motel had a vacancy and was 1 minute drive to my relatives so we booked.. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much as it was a motel... BUT this place has proved me wrong and has provided A+ Customer service. Everyday we got clean towels and room was tidied. My cups were cleaned and put away. After a day out I called in in the afternoon to put heater on to warm room for when we got in later and it was already done for me.. I just want to say Thank you for making my stay relaxing and making it feel like home away from home... Definitely recommend this place..

Tucked away on Ulster Street, this gem of a motel is staffed by the loveliest people. Big comfy rooms allow you to stretch out and really feel like you have a home away from home.

we were provided with this property as the earlier one booked was not available. We arrived late and left early. Slept OK. Carpet was wet - maybe from earlier booking and someone cleaning the carpet.

We recently stayed 2 nights at this motel everything was fantastic. Extremely comfortable beds very clean and tidy and also nice and quiet. We had booked online for 1 night and then were moving on with a school group but after 2 nights in a hostel and not a lot of sleep we decided to go back so after a late night phone call the owners were so pleasant and helpful!!! They had been down to our room turned the lights and made us feel very welcome even though it was as after 10pm. Highly recommended this motel to others

The location was central to the places we were visiting and close to shops.

The Motel was close to our venue. The rooms were away from the road & it was peaceful. The room was clean, tidy and adequately supplied. Staff were welcoming & helpful.

Property is overpriced for what you get, which is a clean but ordinary room smelling of stale cigarette smoke with sticky floors.

We stayed 2 nights here recently and were very happy with value for money in a quiet location. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The unit had a bath which was really nice. Only comment was the pillows were too soft and uncomfortable but apart from that it was a pleasant stay

Good motel with everything you need in one big area.

Was booked to stay at another motel on ulster rd but with the heat & humidity the room with no air con meant I wasn't prepared to stay even one night so walked down to this motel !! So glad I did was greeted by lovely lady on reception (sharon) who I took to be the owner & she quickly got me booked into a room. I was in room 8 which was immaculate from top to bottom with all the fixtures & fittings you would need including all the sports & movie channels as well as a Californian king bed !!! Bathroom had plenty towels & lots of products for showering & something that they did which I've not seen before was room service was every day although as I had to work shift they worked round that for me which was again above & beyond Would recommend this motel in a heartbeat & hope to come back some time

Beetham Park Motel stands out amongst the plethora of motels in the area just by how well the exterior is maintained. The first thing I noticed as I entered was how big the accommodation was, then how clean everything was, then I gasped at the MASSIVE bed that proved to be very comfortable. Our bathroom was decent in size and had a good bath/shower combination. The kitchen was fully equipped, although I found it a little ergonomically awkward with not so much work surface. I successfully prepared breakfast each morning and cooked for two on two out of three evenings. (The final night I ordered pizza from Hell Pizza to be delivered - much recommended!) The room had quiet and efficient air conditioning, a very large tv with 50+ channels, and free Wi-fi. The free use of the laundry facilities was really appreciated! I was most impressed with the daily room housekeeping service - very thorough! In fact, I’d say the best room refresh I’ve experienced anywhere! Everyone at Beetham Park Motel was really friendly, and we had a pleasant stay overall.

Only about 15 rooms total. At first glance it looked dated but rooms are big and bed and pillows are very high quality. Everything is meticulously clean and rooms are quite. Would recommend without hesitation.

Perhaps a little dated compared to the other hotels nearby in this road that I haves stayed in, but still clean, quite and well appointed self sufficient room with working air con well placed air con unit.

We found the Booking lacking in Professionalism Motel was over priced This Motel is an older Motel Motel is very Clean Shower was over the Bath and at a very low Height even for a short person. Water was luke warm in Shower This Motel does not suit a Family as outside space is limited to driveway only There is no Spa Pool or Swimming Pool

Australian couple mid 60's. We were in Unit 1, smallest unit in the motel complex and closest to the road. The room was spacious and spotless.TV had excellent reception with Sky. Shower was hot with very good pressure. The bathroom was also spotless with no "off" smells. We did not hear any road noise during the night. Free WIFI was available in the Unit but as we did not use the Internet I cannot comment on speed or reliability. Bar fridge, 2 hot plates, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board. Cutlery crockery also provided. Washing machines are available in the guests laundry. Overall a very nice motel which I can recommend without hesitation.

A family-owned motel. Management and staff very cooperative and friendly. An older style motel which has been extremely well maintained - rooms scrupulously clean and tidy. Large TV with Sky available - free wifi internet. Cannot recommend too highly - an extremely pleasant experience for a reasonable tariff.

Very friendly staff. Room was large with a king sized bed. The shower was powerful and nice and hot. We stayed two nights. It was nice and quiet. Our towels were replaced daily. Even had an ironing board and iron which we made use of. Thanks.

Called in seeing they had a vacancy. Very helpful and polite. Room very good and value for money. We were in no14 so away from the road and no noise at all. Easy to find off the SH1.Near the centre of Hamilton with all its facilities. Motel offered free washing machine, powder and drier. Good to see in the room that it had comfortable sofas to sit on in the evening so not having to sit on the bed like a lot of motels. The electric job was but worked but an upgrade to halogen or induction would be nice. Much easier to control the cooking and faster. Would recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a good nights stop.

A nice overnight stop. And all one needs for a good nights sleep. I just wish the motels would discount for solo travellers. But other wise no complaints More more moreeeeeeeee And more more more Not much else to say, so why a minimum of 200?

Excellent stay in Hamilton. We stayed 10days. All staffs at motel are kindhearted. The motel has guest laundry room for free of charge. Each room has a green view through window. Quite, Neat Big bathroom. Shower pressure are awesome. Close to town center, Hamilton garden.
