Friendly greeting, good location, nice size room. Very comfy bed. Kitchen staff superb! Super sweet staff poured coffee for me.

Fridge froze food. Staff did kindly turn it down but it ended up freezing all my food anyway. There were carpet staples sticking up. I informed staff but there they remained.

Shower tiles were mouldy and needed replacement

The hotel is dated and there is an awful in the elevators and hallway. It needs serious deep cleaning.

The room wasn't cleans. Hair all over the bathroom shower, make you wonder what else they didn't clean.

It was the most unpleasant stay I have ever had. My first room was dirty with dog hair, dirty face towel and bugs, second room was a bit better but needed a clean and repairs to things like no toilet paper holder. The stairwell was filthy and the garbage bin was overflowing with so much garbage that it was completely unsanitary. I emailed the manager of the hotel with pictures and never heard a word back. Very dissatisfied and completely disappointed in the management not addressing my concerns.

The bed looked like it had been slept in and just straightened up. The dumpsters outside were overflowing with garbage as well around all the doors. The hotels pool was not working and the AC in the room did not work!

Poor breakfast - not too many choices, plastic eggs, beans and fake sausage. That's the whole hot breakfast. Lots of smokers outside, dirty carpets throughout the hotel, disgusting small smell everywhere. Some weird living arrangements for people in the hotel... Great staff though. Most of the hotels post covid have been lackluster, but the tops it. Don't be fooled by Hilton label. Pay extra $10 to stay at Wingate right next to this.

Would not recommend. Ratings do not reflect condition of this hotel. Very unclean rooms, had to ask for room amenities, garbages were emptied but that was it.

Carpet in our hallway was dirty, also parking in the back was a huge mistake. The garbage was overflowed, an ashtray of butts was dumped just outside the back door, and there was no grounds keeping outside - it was overgrown with weeds & garbage. I was quite shocked to find that the hotel I chose was so poorly maintained, I will not stay at the property again & I will warn others.

The pool was closed for maintenance. In the original search it indicates pool but once you book you get a message saying the pool is closed for maintenance. It would be better to have this indicated on the original search!

I forgot a toothbrush and they did not have any to give at the front desk. Also no bottle openers. Other than that no issues. Room was nice and clean.

We had a disappointing stay at this hotel May 14-18.... we booked in February and were not told that the pool was closed down. When we arrived, they told us we could use the pool across the way and indicated that an email was sent out regarding the pool closure and that it was written on their website. I have scoured the website and in the three locations where they discussed the pool as an amenity on their site, there is no information indicating a pool closure. we had a block of rooms as we were there for a dance competition and none of the other 20+ guests received an email about the pool closure. We suited up and headed across the way to use the pool at Wyndham only to find out that theirs was closed also. our microwave was filthy dirty upon arrival. I had called down to the front desk and ask them to make a note of the dirty microwave, asking them to clean it the next day which they indicated they would. In the five days that we stayed there, our room was cleaned twice and on both occasions, we received 2 pool towels. When I called down asking for more towels as there was 4 of us there, they said they were in the laundry, leaving 2 small pool towels for 4 of us. Every day we woke up there was garbage and dirty towels stacked all the way down the hallway. We had to call every day to have somebody come and empty our garbage for us. One working elevator that has a light constantly flickering. Once ice machine for the whole floor. One of the families in our block had to tape the ice bucket bag to the vent in her room because the smell of cigarette and pot smoke coming in was so bad their clothing smelled of it the next day. I wrote the GM (Walter Chai) an email and have yet to hear back. For the amount of money we spent, this was easily one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Please save your money and don't bother. We come to fort every year and will never stay here again. Bad stay and bad customer service.

The parking lot is littered with garbage all the way around the entire property. The pool was out of order. There was no house cleaning in our room for the 6 days we were there. I had to go search for our own clean towels and toilet paper. On the 4th day I finally sealed the bathroom vent with a plastic bag and tape to prevent cigarette and Marajuana smoke from fuming us out of our room!

Terrible quality for the price they charged. I’d like a refund. Missing light bulbs, sticky floor, bathroom tap broken, loose toilet seat, tv remote didn’t work, ice machines out of order, elevator out of order, light bulbs in elevator didn’t work, pool out of order. Terrible experience.

Its a decent hotel with good front office staff. However, the wifi is not very good and needs a definite upgrade.

Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast selections limited. Linens were mostly clean ( 2 very off colored pillow cases). Bathroom grout is discutingly dirty. Greasy dirty finger prints al over inside and outside of bathroom door and inside entry door. Shower and sink hot water barely got warm. Only 1 ice machine working in entire hotel. Pool out of service and no apologies or compensation. Have stayed here before on several occasions and was great. Very disappointed in the condition on this visit.

Deceptive practices. Their pool is closed, which in itself is fine, but they bury the information in the listing as to not make it obvious. Went as part of large group for a funeral, and NO accommodations made. The room itself was fine, but overall negative experience made by the dismissive staff.

Good hotel

The only complaint, I have about this hotel is the hours for breakfast. They stop serving breakfast at 09:00am, while most hotels continue to serve breakfast until 11:00 am.

Both elevators smelled like urine to me, so I’m not staying there tonight. I am at a Marriot in Edmonton which is much better. House keeping couldn’t replenish toilet paper/kleenex during the 2 night stay. I left the box on the sink counter for them to notice. They only discarded the box, didn’t put a new one. Old one had 2 sheets in it. The bed was very comfortable though, the room was good. No complaints on the room

Check in was easy and the desk clerk was friendly and informed us of the breakfast times etc. we stayed in room 334 which on walking in looked clean and comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand needed some deep cleaning. The rust and dirt along the shower, the walls and the shower head was terrible. I did send pictures to the number who asked how our room was and was told they would pass them on to manager. I requested more towels and received them quickly. Again very friendly staff. Bed was not that great and the pillows should be thrown out. Lumpy, too soft and one had a sweaty oder to it. Time for some new pillows! Breakfast was not good. First off it’s over at 9:00 am which is a little early on a weekend, however I was up early on Saturday morning to get breakfast. Food was cold not much variety for fruit or yogurt. No coffee in the buffet had to go to the check in area. There was one English muffin which was so dry you couldn’t eat it. At 8:50 they started removing the food. Sunday I didn’t bother to rush to breakfast and went out.

Therefore you have to run AC than smells like mold/musty smell Hallway continuously smelt like marijuana day and night.

The room wasn’t cleaned very well. Behind tv there is dirt, garbage, ear plugs. Bathroom also, floor was dirty. No bed bugs though, so that’s a plus. We noticed plastic covering smoke detector and told front desk. Outside there is garbage all over parking lot and grassy areas. So yeah, not the best, but ok for sleeping. Oh and pool was not open, which we weren’t told about.

We did not receive proper service for cleaning of our room. I had to ask for towels and garbage taken out. No one would come and clean the room when we asked.

Everything was good except there was no wipes in the gym or hand sanitizer in the breakfast area

Upon my arrival at midnite, the hotel clerk made an error checking me in which caused about an hour delay in getting to sleep. The bathroom floor wasn't clean and when we turned on the heat, the smell coming from the heater nearly drove us out of the room. The next morning the front desk wasn't very sympathetic. I think we should have been compensated for our troubles. We probably won't stay at a Hampton again.

Rooms were ok. Not the cleanest in hall. Elevators etc. had a smell in hallway. No shower curtain in one of our rooms we had.

Showed up at 4:00 room was dirty. Told me they would call me when it was. Didn’t get a call and had to come back 3 hours later to get them to go check again.

Enjoyed my stay

Arrived to the hotel at 1515 and was told it would be half an hour before we could check in. We had a wedding to go to at 1630 and needed to get ready. I went and got ready in the public bathroom. They finally had a different room ready for us just before 1600. We had barely five mins in the room before we needed to get going to the wedding. We get up to the room and it’s a double. I had paid for a king room. So we got downgraded and told that we could take it or leave it. I prepaid so there was no possible way that we could leave and go find a different hotel where we would be treated with more respect and professionalism.

Rooms were not cleaned well upon arrival. Wasn’t sure bedding was changed as there were lots of wrinkles in it. Bathroom had mold. Pool not working. Staff took too long to keep breakfast food and coffee full. Over priced for what you get. I’d be hard pressed to stay at this location again.

Entire building was disgusting. Dirt and dust everywhere the hall ways were gross and the room was rotten. Stains and hairs on the bed sheets dust everywhere soap scum in the tub and tap. Overhead staff talking about multiple complaints of the buildings cleanliness. 10/10 would not recommend.

The fan in the bathroom did not work. It is unsettling to not have a functioning fan. The pool was unavailable. The breakfast was missing potato

1) arrived at 2:20pm and asked for early check in, they said no because the room was still being cleaned (another party wanted to check in and was told the same thing). No problem I understand, but then at exactly 3pm they said the room was ready. 2) the room smelled strongly of Febreeze, making us wonder if the room had been cleaned thoroughly. 3) the beds were made up differently, making me wonder if they had been changed or made properly. 4) there were gobs of white stuff in the sink… 5) there were only 3 large towels in the bathroom even though we booked for 4 people. 6) the continental breakfast was a disappointment, my family came down at 8am to eat and there was almost nothing to eat and even the coffee was empty. 7) went up to make coffee in the room instead and this is what prompted the entire bad review….the coffee pot had remains of a previously brewed coffee that had gone moldy, as in hairy green floating gross coffee!!! 8) went to check out and waited 5 minutes before someone came to the counter. 9) Expedia and hotel receipt matches, but there is $50 more in the total that is pending charge on my credit card. **also found it odd that there were no USB charging outlets in the room, most people don’t carry charging blocks for their phones anymore. I’d like to say that I am a pretty understanding person, but when you look at our entire experience, I will definitely not be staying at this hotel ever again and would appreciate a partial refund.
