Habitaciones muy limpias y comoda. El personal era extremadamente atento y el desayuno realmente delicioso Sin duda un gran acierto

Había varios sitios enchufes en la habitación pero ninguno junto a la cama (aunque no nos creo ningún problema la verdad);

Not what we expected…. once was enough!! The Beefeater breakfast was brilliant value for money for the duration of our stay…as well as The Visto Lounge saved the day.

Small portions for the price. The fried eggs were not cooked to our request seeing that we were asked how we would like them….wasn’t exactly busy for them to get it wrong just 2 tables to serve. They recommended we sample their homemade yogurt with granola only to be told by the lady the yogurt was from the shop when she served us so that was confusing??? They came across very inexperienced. Kept on asking if all was ok which became very annoying while eating!! Room tiny, face to face with a wall when you get out of bed, had to keep window shut constant noisy traffic room got very stifling,heavy winter duvet!!! Very small double bed, Shower issues …water didn’t drain away unless you fiddled the drain cover about whilst having your shower. Noisy toilet flush (saniflow?) Had a cheeky sign saying £90 to pay if toilet gets blocked by you! Was told no takeaways which will make place smelly but on arrival her cooking a curry which stunk the place wasnt acceptable it was soon covered up by constant air fresheners which made it worse!!! 🤢 Bed lights too bright to have a read in bed. Room too small to sit on chairs to watch tv. Stairs 3 floors up was a killer!! The most annoying part of the stay was the husband & wife in your face asking if all was ok …CONSTANTLY!!! Got very frustrating couldn’t wait to leave! Not good value for money!

The owners could not do enough for us, and the food was exceptional. I loved the location, it was not too close to the beech and night life, But not too far away either.

The rooms and the hotel itself is very dated. Could do with a little doing up. The shower doors are too close to the shower, and feel like they could fall off any second. The sink was loose and the beds were rock hard

Not a major but only two power points in room, with all our devices that needed charging…. we managed with a bit of a juggle.

10 minute walk from Torquay railway station. The amazing warm welcome from the lovely hostess, followed soon after by the lovely host , both friendly, polite and inviting. Room had everything we needed, ensuite quite small but did just the job. Unavoidable but loud cars and motorbikes late at night so secondary double glazing has been installed which blocks out any noise, add to this, very thoughtful, a fan is supplied in case having the window shut is too hot. Mini fridge in room. Comfy bed, bedside wall lights,2 hairdryers, shampoo and body wash supplied Optional breakfast, great value at £10 for extremely tasty full English, toast , coffee, fruit juice, cereals plus the most delicious homemade yoghurt with fruit and muesli. Both hosts came to check if the food was ok...which it was. If we return to Torquay, which is likely, would choose this establishment again

Nothing to dislike

We had the family ground floor room which was nice, looks out at the rear lane of the property. A double bed and a single bed in the room and it was handy to have a couple of nice chairs to sit in, a fan, cushions, and coffee making facilities, plus a fridge. The hosts were incredibly polite, helpful and approachable and seemed to genuinely care about us having a lovely stay, nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast was wonderful, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh homemade yogurts. The room was presentable, clean, warm (a bit too hot at times, but better that than too cold!, and the window does open quite wide if you want to). Location is good. There is parking behind the property, but only a few spaces, on a first come first served basis. It's a short 10 minute walk to the sea. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, shame about the weather but it's one of those things!

Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Car parking was a great bonus especially as the hotel was so central to the places we had to visit.

Cannot think of anything that we did not like. Our expectations were more than met at an excellent price.

Les gérants sont super gentils et font tout pour que le séjour se passe bien. L'établissement est très bien tenu. Le petit déjeuner est cuisiné maison et copieux. Possibilité de parking appréciable.

Notre chambre donnait sur la rue qui était un petit peu bruyante.

Such a warm, friendly welcome me, the owners couldn’t have been more welcoming. Breakfast was great, especially the yoghurt with home made muesli.

I really liked that Sabina was there to greet me on my arrival and my exit which was extremely early in the morning. I wasn't expecting to see anyone from previous experience so it was a lovely surprise. I liked having hangers in my room so I could hang up my clothes, the bed was very comfortable and I had a great night's sleep both nights.

I loved being able to have a cup of tea in my room with the kettle and cups available, in the future it would be awesome for a hot chocolate option and extra milks.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Able to walk down into the town and harbour.

There were a list of rules don't eat in the bed Don't soil the towels Don't put too much toilet paper in the toilet as it will block and I would be responsible for the cost. Towels only changed every three days. The towels were not bath robes but very thin guest towels and very hard. Had to go out to buy my own towels. No space for toiletries had to put on top of fridge. Bathroom small and floor dirty. Shower cubicle next to toilet very uncomfortable a large person would be unable to shower in there Only managed 2 of the 4 nights. On departure no one to speak to a note on the reception desk to say the hosts were out for the day. Crumbs on stairs when we arrived still there on Thursday. Not a relaxing break at all

Sehr freundliche Vermieter, sehr behilflich bei Fragen rund um den Ort. Die Lage war sehr gut zum Bahnhof, als auch zur Stadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir waren nur zwei Nächte dort und das Frühstück war gut, bei längerem Aufenthalt hätte ich mir persönlich mehr Auswahl gewünscht.

Falsely advertised for free parking. There is no parking designated, you will end up struggling to find a parking place on the street, and then rush to move your car at 8am. The staff was really unmannered. Asked my friend to drink water from the TOILET when asked for drinking water.

I booked the room for family, so I didn't actually stay there. But they reported the owner was very nice. Have some strange rules like no food in the room, but that's understandable as it is their home. If you are looking for a bed and breakfast, then this is not bad at all.

The BEST guest house i have ever stayed in The room, guest house and garden area was incredibly clean. The owners treated me like family and jumped straight on an issue i had with the shower - genuinely could not have had a better stay. I will absolutely stay there with them again

Had a 5star stay at the Norwood We were greeted with a smile and a very warm welcome and they went out of their way to settle us in. Dinish helped get the bags in from the car and also showed us where to park! Also, a little thing but Sabina had taken the duvet off the bed and put a sheet on it because the weather was so hot she knew we wouldn't need it. There was a fan in the room and it just felt homely. And the breakfast was a really treat 😋 (especially the yoghurt and granola). Its on a slight hill but location is fab 5 min walk to beach and you can always catch the land train back from town to take in the sights 😊
