Lovely beachside location. Nice promenade walks directly from the hotel.
2nd visit to this amazing hotel. Definitely recommend it if you want the full pamper and luxury experience from your holiday. Ideal location, rooms are spacious and well equipped, we had a ground floor terrace and it’s so nice to either sit on your own terrace that also has sunbeds or sit by the pool. Plenty of comfortable sunbeds available all day long, pools are lovely and warm and clean. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough for you and really add to the experience. We emailed the hotel prior to our visit and they booked all our A’la carte restaurants for us, even offered to book them for the whole 10 days should we wish. We have already done two and they were perfect. Will definitely be making a return visit in the future.
A relaxing holiday complimented by attentive staff in particular manager Yurena, who was informative and made our stay very special. A mention to waitresses Rebeca, Vicky, Janeth & Amanda who were attentive throughout. A gorgeous hotel and great holiday!
Where to start, from the second we entered the Salomé our holiday was amazing. We were greeted by Francisco with a welcoming ice cold towel and a glass of Tattinger champagne. We were a party of 2 couples The location was perfect and to wake to the beautiful view every morning was bliss. The rooms are spacious and the storage and hanging facilities were more than adequate. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh bedding everyday. We stayed bed & breakfast and the choice was perfect for all our needs, there is also the option to visit the adjoining restaurant and with a larger selection you can then bring this up to the Salomé breakfast restaurant. The quality of the breakfast was excellent along with first class service nothing was too much trouble for the team. The pool service “wow” Vicki !!! Salome has a unique gem there nothing was too much trouble her personality shines through her smile. We were brought nibbles throughout the day and a sample cocktail everyday along with iced fresh fruit flavoured water. A self service area on the poolside bar where crisps, nuts, sweets and fresh fruit were made available for all guests not just the all inclusive. There was an option to purchase poolside snacks or sit in the poolside restaurant and choose from a more detailed menu all meals were excellent the paella served at your table best we’ve tasted. Sun-beds deep and comfortable, cleaned daily each had a roll pillow for under your knees all beds were prepared for you with rolled towels, headrest and there was no need to reserve beds there was enough for every person in the hotel. It was spotless around the pool with your own bell to call for drinks, snacks or towels. The heated pool was spotless too and it was a treat to lay on one of the 6 jacuzzi beds and watch the world go by in the separate pool with sea views. Each evening we would meet in the hotel reception where a lovely chilled glass of Tattinger was available to enjoy whilst relaxing in the beautiful surrounding gardens (unlimited champagne was available throughout the day to all guests) There were 2 gyms 1 outdoors at the side of the pool and 1 within the adjoining hotel building both were very clean with modern equipment no need to book they also had protein drinks available to purchase from the burrito bar. The spa was a lovely treat after a day of sunbathing with a short stroll across the road you are able to indulge in a relaxing space with numerous areas again all included in your stay (we booked a slot daily to ensure a place as there is a limit to spaces perfect so no overcrowding) a charge is payable for individual services. We would highly recommend a visit to the Salomé and we will definitely be returning. There is nothing at all that we could think of as a negative to the hotel.
Very relaxing 2weeks at salomé. All staff excellent. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Food excellent. We were looked after so well by all staff especially Amanda who served us so enthusiastically around the pool.
Our third visit and still surprised at how good the service is. Staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Vicky by the pool brought my wife’s coffee over as soon as we came out and then the whole team looked after us all day. Great hotel. We will be back
Our stay at JOIA Salomé by Iberostar exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly checked out, we were treated with genuine warmth and professionalism that made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. The location is outstanding. Nestled right on the waterfront in Costa Adeje, the resort offers breathtaking ocean views while still being within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the beautiful seaside promenade. It strikes the perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. As an adults-only property, the resort is peaceful, elegant, and wonderfully relaxing. Everything feels refined without being pretentious. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying a drink overlooking the Atlantic, or watching the sunset in the evening, there was a sense of calm throughout the property that made it easy to unwind. The service deserves special recognition. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had a memorable holiday. Housekeeping kept our suite immaculate, the restaurant staff were consistently welcoming and efficient, and the front desk team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in providing exceptional hospitality, and it truly sets this resort apart. The amenities are equally impressive. The suites are spacious, beautifully maintained, and offer spectacular sea views. The all-inclusive dining exceeded our expectations, with excellent food quality, plenty of variety, and attentive service at every meal. The pools are immaculate, the spa is a wonderful place to relax, and having access to the facilities of the neighbouring Iberostar resort provided even more dining and recreation options. Summer Vacation 2026 - Trip Itinerary.pdf What impressed us most was how effortlessly everything came together. The beautiful setting, luxurious accommodations, exceptional food, and outstanding staff created an experience that felt both relaxing and special from beginning to end. We left already talking about when we could return, which is probably the highest compliment we can give. Thank you to everyone at JOIA Salomé for making our holiday such a memorable one. We would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxury adults-only escape in Tenerife.
The hotel was amazing, it was so clean and the staff were excellent especially Vicky, Francisco, Janet and Rebeca. The food was fantastic and I couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough.
Our stay at this resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the service was world-class; the incredibly friendly staff, including the attentive butlers and servers, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with warm smiles and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained throughout our entire stay, providing a perfect, comfortable sanctuary to return to each day. The amenities are top-tier, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. The pool areas and grounds are kept absolutely pristine, creating a stunning backdrop for a relaxing getaway. However, the true highlight was the food. Every meal was an absolute culinary delight, featuring fresh ingredients, incredible flavors, and beautiful presentation that rivaled fine-dining restaurants. We cannot recommend this resort highly enough and are already planning our next return!.
Beautiful place, extremely relaxing. Staff are very accommodating! Quiet and peaceful. Lovely food too! 3rd time back!
Me and my husband stayed at Joia Salome Iberostar for 12 days. We were extremely happy with everything that the hotel offered. The food was excellent, room service was great as well. Everything cleaned every day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view from our room. We went on trips organized by the travel agency and we had a very good experience. Our vacation was perfect thank to people working at the hotel who did their best. Thank you very much. I will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Once again everything was great. The suites in Salome are so nice, lovely rooms well appointed with everything you need. The best thing about the hotel is the amazing staff. All are amazing and just so kind and friendly. Legarto the pool bar and lunch spot have the most lovely staff who make every day a pleasure. The butlers are always there if you need anything and will sort out reservations etc. Another brilliant holiday looking forward to next year already for our Mother Daughter trip.
Wonderful time with the family! Amazing room and hospitality. All you need is available! And if not: just ask the staff and they arrange it for you without any hesitation. :) the ocean view & location are amazing. Very quite hotel experience
Excellent stay! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Always available with a smile, they made our stay truly enjoyable. Many thanks to the whole team, especially Vicky!
We had a similarly magical stay to many of the other reviewers, so I will generally say that you can trust them and I’ll try to focus on the things that were most notable for our impressions. First is the overarching sense of graciousness and hospitality that permeates the entire visit. We were not on an “all inclusive” plan of any sort because we selected this area for the diversity outside the resort. That said, we spent a lot of time in the resort and there are many niceties that are simply included as part of your stay that many hotels would charge for. During the day, they offer premium champagne and cava in the lobby, which makes coming back to your room from being out in the heat ever so fabulous. At breakfast, they also offer a premium champagne. At the pool, cava and snacks are available all day; and while we were never at the pool mid-day to experience it, it seems like they were continually offering rounds of special drinks, snacks, and water. Guests have access to the extensive wet areas/thermal features of the Iberostar Anthelia spa. We didn’t even take advantage of these things very much and I don’t think most of these likely cost a ton to offer, but they profoundly change the emotional experience for me—rather than feeling like the resort is wanting me to buy something (wildly overpriced for a captive audience) at every turn, I felt more like a guest in a friend’s home who just wants me to have a good time. A friend would not serve you bad champagne at breakfast, so why should your resort?! From a culinary perspective, everything we had was excellent. The included breakfast operates mostly made-to-order from a large menu, so it’s fresh/hot and highly customizable to your preferences, though there is also a buffet for continental offerings. They also have a sort of amuse bouche of breakfast offered that changes every day and was typically very elaborate and tasty. We really enjoy elaborate breakfasts on vacation, and food quality is very important to us-- Salome absolutely delivered! We also had one dinner in Sea Soul, in Iberostar Anthelia. The food quality was there and the beach-side location is fun but the service was a bit slow and scattered—they seemed maybe short staffed. My partner is celiac, so a lot of our choices of resorts and hotels boils down to prioritizing where we can get food that is safe for him. Salome took this need very seriously and seemed to have all the pieces in order (staff training, order tagging, kitchen facilities, etc.) to keep him safe because he didn’t get sick and we were there for 8 nights. While the menu is clearly marked with allergens, the staff also helps navigate modifications that might be possible. And most impressively, they offered to try to make off-menu special requests for gluten free versions of dishes they offer; this resulted in him discovering the wonder of gluten free banana flour pancakes that are better than plain flour pancakes with gluten! In general, the service at Salome was truly spectacular. The Butler and Concierge teams were always available, so helpful, and simply a pleasure to interact with. Housekeeping did a great job and were highly reliable. The restaurant and bar staff were impeccable across the board, but we had daily interactions with two individuals who were really, really impressive. Jessica, in the breakfast restaurant, is excellent—the quintessential restaurant professional. She seemed to know everything about everything, always pleasantly answered our esoteric questions about the food offerings and gluten, and always delivered on our requests. It seemed like she could make just about anything happen, and she was always available and happy to help. In the pool bar, Rebeca is a superstar. I love cocktails, but the Canaries are a Sex on the Beach and Blue Hawaiian wasteland—I mostly gave up and just stuck with wine. What seems to be missing is thoughtful, creative, and skilled mixologists who can create anything more than the standard drinks that have been around for decades, but Rebeca was different—she has a passion and skill for the craft, has the knowledge to engage deeply on the topic, and seems to sincerely enjoy the creative expression that mixology can be. And her service style/personality was such a delight—so funny and playful, she brightened our pool visit every day. I’m very, very location sensitive, and the perfection of this resort’s location cannot be overstated for my preferences. Just a short walk north are the jaw-droppingly gorgeous dueling black and white sand beaches of Playa del Duque. Starting 50 m to the south of the resort and extending as far as you could ever care to walk is the neverending beach/boardwalk full of countless restaurants, bars, live music venues, shops, beach clubs, etc. I could literally go to the most gorgeous beaches on the island during the day and then have my pick of options for the evening, all in a short walk. My partner and I also enjoyed doing longer exercise walks in both directions because there is so much beautiful scenery near there. And just a short/easy cab ride away is Playa de las Americas, if you really must. The resort does have some room for improvement. The gym (shared with/part of Iberostar Anthelia) has nice, modern equipment, but it’s open-air; it was quite warm during our visit, so the lack of AC made working out a bit hard and unpleasant for me, though my partner didn’t really mind it. And while we like the chill, relaxing vibes of Salome overall, I do feel like it was a bit too (literally) quiet—some nice background music in the right places would help set the mood. That said, these were very small in comparison to all the things we loved about it. We highly recommend it and would come back in a heartbeat!
Excellent service, 5* all the way
This is the most perfect place Second visit and will not be the last Staff, ambiance, food, comfort It’s absolutely faultless We didn’t leave once,we just didn’t want to.
Had a fabulous week at Joia Salome and can’t recommend highly enough. The hotel is a relaxing vibe with the most attentive staff. From outstanding sunbed service to the best food and drinks in literally every restaurant. The El Mirador restaurant for breakfast has stunning views over the sea and serves everything from Eggs Royale to the best Full English we have had abroad. The highlight for the evening restaurants was Poseiden ….stunning gourmet dishes that were so goid we ate there twice. The staff really do make this hotel, they’re friendly and accommodating and will cater to your every need. A huge thank you to Janeth, Paula, Rebeca, Joselin, Raquel to name but a few….they made our holiday and we can’t speak highly enough of the fantastic service. Will definitely return.
Outstanding customer service in exceptional surroundings, the staff simply cannot do enough for you. They go the extra mile regularly to look after you and make your stay memorable.
Simply the best holiday experience we have had. This is a little gem of a hotel. It had everything from excellent food and wine to a very attentive staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they throw in many extras and treats. Lovely room ands wonderful pool area. Would we return? Absolutely
We’ve just returned from a week’s stay at the hotel and I can honestly say it’s the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff are wonderful, all of the butlers are on hand throughout the day and they will always go above and beyond for you. Special thanks to Joselin, Raquel and Amanda from the bar at the pool who were all so friendly and helpful. All of the restaurants offer food of the highest quality which we thoroughly enjoyed and breakfast was delicious with the most amazing view. Both my husband and I had massages and they were the best we’d ever experienced. All of the hotel is incredibly well maintained and so clean, the pool area is particularly lovely and you will never struggle for a sunbed! My husband and I are already looking at when we can return next year. So much of a holiday is about the people and the service you’re given and the team at the Salomé are definitely the best.
Last visit was 9 years ago and it is still as good as it was. This was our 6th visit over a number of years and it is just such a relaxing adults only hotel No getting up at 6am for sunbeds as there are plenty all with umbrellas and plenty of towels when you need them. Breakfast is a la carte overlooking the sea and exclusive for salome guests. All the staff are excellent with service around the pool at the ring of a buzzer. Cava, snacks, afternoon tea and items of food they bring around are all included even on bed and breakfast. (Tattinger champagne also at certain times) We stay bed and breakfast because there are plenty of good restaurants you can walk to along with many more a 10 minute taxi ride away. Being the adults only part of the Anthelia hotel means you can also enjoy the entertainment there if you want to with the acts ranging from good to very good. There is a reason this hotel scores so high on trip advisor with many guests coming year after year. We highly recommend it and I'm sure will be back next year.
Gorgeous hotel. Lovely staff, very attentive. Great food and facilities. Spotlessly clean. Pool guys are always around. Bar/waitress staff very good. Butler service to the rooms. Great location. It’s a separate boutique adults only hotel within the Anathelia complex (family hotel, which is lovely too) you have access to all of the facilities on site. We have been twice now and will definitely be back!
We have just spent 11 nights at this amazing hotel. From start to finish we cannot fault the service we have received. All the staff were fantastic. This was our first stay at the hotel and we will be back.
This hotel Is an absolute beauty. A five star luxury resort where nothing is too much of a problem. The staff are incredibly friendly and cannot do enough for you. Vicky, juanita, Aldair, fran and Mossi are just incredible. Thank you for an amazing stay. My only complaint is that it was over too soon.
This hotel is heaven on earth. The staff are amazing. The location is perfect. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are amazing. The beds are so comfortable. It is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed. Do not hesitate booking here. You will NOT regret it!!
If you are considering this hotel (and you really should) you will probably have read many reviews, the majority of which are five star. So, rather than repeat what you have probably already read, here is some tips & tricks… We arrived at around 7.30pm and were greeted by Raquel who swiftly got us to our room and even managed to get a table at Poseidon - what a star. Later that evening Raquel really earned her star status; I left a bag on the taxi transfer and she managed to find it and get it returned to me within 24Hrs – that is true stardom! Download the Iberostar app before you arrive and familiarize yourself with it and then login with your room number etc. once you’ve checked in. This will give you access to all the restaurant menus and wine lists, and all the facilities of the hotel. It will even inform you when your room has been cleaned. You can also check in online with the hotel before arrival – this will save you the admin on arrival. This is where Fran really stood out; he managed to help us get reservations in the restaurants we wanted. This took out any hassle and meant all we had to do was show up! The one thing that didn’t work in the app was the butler contact function; I used this several times and never had a response (frustrating) (why not set up a simple WhatsApp group as many other hotels do?). If you need a butler for any reason you either had to hope they were at the desks at reception or catch one around the hotel – which, in fairness, was fairly easy as they are often around the hotel and pool. I make no apologies for the attached photos. You can find any number of hotel shots, but not so many of the menu items. Most of what we had was delicious, sometimes it was less so, this was down to our taste and not the food. The restaurant menus have changed from last year, this is both good and bad – the upside is that if you have been before the menus give you new delights but if you had some standout meals last time they may not be available this time. However, I recommend that if there is something you really want, ask; you never know what they may be able to produce. We did, and were delighted every time. We ate most often in Poseidon, this is where you’ll find Mossi – what a guy; nothing is too much trouble, and he will genuinely go out of his way to make sure you have a memorable meal every time. Look out for the delicious amuse-bouche and be prepared to be tempted to over eat! We really enjoyed the menu at Sea Soul restaurant. We wanted to try several of the starters and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We asked for small portions and mixed it up a bit – a kind of tapas approach. This worked really well. If you have lunch in Legarto Restaurant, you may want to ask about the portion size when ordering – they are huge! You can always share or ask for a half portion. Legarto becomes the social bar in the evening and if you are fortunate, you will be looked after by Juanita. She takes pride in the attention to the cocktails she creates; they were delicious, particularly the Negroni. Experiment – you’ll be pleasantly surprised. We first met Jessica last year and she continues to be everywhere (not at the same time!). She is the consummate professional, she has a sixth sense when it comes to customer service; able to anticipate your needs and is always ready to help. Jessica should be promoted but then that would deprive us of her charm and experience, get to know her and you will be well looked after. Last year we had a less-than-ideal meal at the Portofino Restaurant, this is a shame as it put us off eating here again this year. This was probably a mistake. We did venture out for lunch here one day and it was delicious. Next year we will definitely try to book dinner here. The buffet (Zeus) is large and themed each evening, you can’t fail to find some delicious plates, check with the butlers for the day’s theme. We tried it once last year, and thought we’d better try again this year. We found it too noisy and too frantic – we booked Salome as it was a quiet, adults only hotel so the buffet with loads of children just didn’t work for us. We found that the steaks across the various restaurants tended to be cooked slightly under what was asked for so, if you like medium rare, I’d suggest you go for medium etc. Try a Barraquito - if you like coffee with a little alcohol, I recommend this (it’s my new go-to). It was delicious. Vicki in the bar and around the pool during the day was a lifesaver; water would arrive unexpectedly as would delightful drinks and nibbles. We like a coffee in the morning, Vicki spotted this and we got two flat whites at 10:30 every morning – now, that is attention to detail. “We don’t do repeat visits” we’ve said it so many times. We’ve even looked at alternatives but, the rooms, the staff (all of them), the food, we just can’t find anywhere within 4 hours that compares. I guess we’ll just have to come back again next year.
Wow! Where to start, facilities are amazing (flip flops, all hair products, straighteners and hair dryers in the room) Both pools are lovely and a beautiful temperature and the sun loungers are so comfy, with a fresh towel rolled up on the bed every single day. Views are beautiful, the hotel offers free coffee and bubbles complimentary all day. Can’t even begin on the staff - they are so considerate and are thinking the extra mile. An example of this is unfortunately I had a flare up with my skin and Vicky very kindly offered me a frozen towel and spoke to the team so it wasn’t fragranced and bought them to me throughout the day- it was so helpful and it wasn’t something I even asked for! Drinks bought to your bed, room changed 3 times a day - just fantastic! Janeth , Vicky, Raquel and Franco deserve a special mention. They work tirelessly and always with a smile on their face. Beautiful service and so accommodating. They are striving for something special here A true gem, wrapped in the beautiful ocean view line - do not miss out!
We have just returned from an 11 night stay at this wonderful hotel. This is our 3rd visit and definitely won’t be our last. We stayed all inclusive and the food and drink offering is superb with excellent choice and quality. The Lobster Paella at lunch in Portofino definitely should not be missed. The hotel is spotless and spacious and feels so relaxing. All the staff are amazing and they recognise us from our previous visits both to Salome and the 14 visits to the Anthelia, it always feels like our second home. I would like to say a special thank you to Mossi who looked after us so well in the lunchtime buffet and on an evening in Poseidon. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you all for a great holiday.
We really enjoyed it our hotel staff where excellent we would definitely recommend and come again
Our stay at the JOIA Salome was nothing short of phenomenal! We enjoyed every single second of our stay! This hotel has a „hotel within a hotel concept“, which is absolutely brilliant! You can enjoy all the benefits of the bigger Iberostar hotel, while always being able to retreat back to the absolute peace, elegance, and serenity of the private JOIA Salome area. It truly offers best of both words! We would like to highlight and thank especially the butler team (Yurena, Rachel, Joseline, Aldair and Fran) for their amazing work. You have been always present without being instructive. In addition, Mossi, he always made sure I am getting some food with my allergy. He is a true hero and a very lovely and kind man! This hotel is amazingly located, everything is clean till the end and you always feel the little extra, the team is giving. This hotel has completely redefined all our standard, and we will definitely be back! A highly recommended hidden gem, I would like to gatekeep!
Wonderful hotel, service, food, rooms. Couldn’t fault it
The location, the views, the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, and the warm, personalized service make this hotel highly recommendable. Yurena and her team are exceptionally attentive and helpful. The staff throughout the hotel are efficient, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast, served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the sea, is excellent. The other restaurants in the hotel also offer very good food, complemented by attentive service. The only disappointment was Poseidon, the hotel’s gourmet restaurant. The service felt clumsy and below expectations: wine was spilled while being poured, dishes were served without any explanation, and everything was placed on the table rather carelessly. The food quality also failed to meet the standards one would expect from a fine-dining establishment. For example, instead of being able to choose from a cheese trolley, we were simply served ten rather bland pieces of cheese on a plate, without any description or explanation. To make matters worse, a rat ran across the terrace during dinner. While these things can happen, the overall experience at Poseidon unfortunately cost the hotel a point in my rating.
My wife and I have just returned home from an amazing week at this truly wonderful oasis of a hotel. The facilities, the rooms and the pool, the peace and quiet to fully recharge batteries, the food in the amazing choice of restaurants, (particularly Sea Soul and especially Poseidon where fine dining meets exemplary attention to detail) all add up to a very special experience. But as others have said, none of that would mean anything without a team of truly outstanding people. Special mention of Vicky who provided a level of service very rarely seen, with the friendliness and informality delivered with perfection. And of course, Aldair, who provided our 'butler' service. Butler seems so formal, but it wasn't like that at all - personal service delivered with genuine concern to make every single aspect of out stray unforgettable - something that was achieved at every level. We will be returning later this year, and I hope for many years to come.
Exceptional hotel and staff.. This is our 3rd year coming to the Salome and we will definitely be back next year, if not before!! Brilliant Hotel
Just had the most amazing week at this adults only hotel. From breakfast till dinner and beyond everything was just perfect. Without exception the staff were simply wonderful. It’s impossible to name them all but Vicky, Rebecca, Jessica, Luz Mary, Juanita and Pallanzeula who looked after us at breakfast and lunch and Mossi and Manuell in the Poseidon restaurant. A big thank you. Also Fran Raquel and Yurena our butlers who couldn’t do enough for us. The pool area is so peaceful with one pool and an infinity pool with jacuzzi. Staff came round regularly with lovely cocktails and canapés. Also thanks to Christian who had the biggest smile and supplied us with cold face towels every day. We stayed in a superior suite with sea view and it was beautiful. The food in the pool bar at lunch time was delicious. The only think I can think of to improve the hotel would be for the pool bar or breakfast restaurant to be open in the evening keeping the adults only vibe. There are 3 à la carte restaurants and a buffet which were all delicious. These are shared with guests in the main Antalya Hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quite relaxing holiday. We will definitely be back.
Very clean. All staff absolutely amazing. Nothing to much trouble.
I have just returned from this amazing hotel. A week of full relaxation and pampering was just what was needed after a busy year so far. This was my second visit to this hotel, the first being 3 years ago. It did not disappoint, the standard was exactly as I remembered it. The staff make this even more special. They check in with you without being intrusive and they are happy to help. The cleaning staff were exceptional and I love that the app tells you when your room has been cleaned. The food was really good. I couldn’t book in to any of the restaurants on the app and was too lazy to contact the butlers so just ate at the buffet or took myself out to the many restaurants at the front. Two things to consider Iberostar. Please can you make paper maps of the hotel available. For us oldies it would be so much easier to navigate the hotel.Secondly I booked all inclusive but I don’t drink alcohol. There was at least a dozen or more bottles of various alcohol in my room (suite) from spirits, to wine to beer. I only had water or soft drinks with meals or at the pool. Can you consider offering an all inclusive package without alcohol for a lesser cost? I will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel but perhaps in a warmer month as we were stoically British lying by the pool with goosebumps. I’ve never known it to be so cool in May in the Canaries before.
This is our 3rd visit and honestly, this place just gets better!! The service is 2nd to nice. The food choice is fabulous and the pool is amazing. We don’t have any reservations recommending this place !!
We really enjoyed our stay at Salome. It was our first time in Tenerife and didn’t know what to expect. Salome is an oasis of calm in a busy resort, which has a huge number of bars and restaurants, but as Solome is so comfortable we didn’t need to venture out much during our four-night stay. The hotel is small and intimate but is also part of the much bigger adjoining hotel, which offers more facilities, but the only reason for Salome guests to venture into the other hotel is for the restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, really clean, and we were greeted with some gifts on our arrival to the room which was a nice touch. The pool area wasn’t very busy so there was plenty of loungers and the pool is heated which was a bonus. The breakfasts were excellent and we tried all the restaurants and would recommend the Poseidon. Also, the restaurant by the pool was lovely for lunch and would recommend the garlic prawns. The staff were all fantastic and looked after us very well and special mention to Special Agent 203 who will know who she is if she reads this review! All in all, we would recommend this hotel. Not just for the rooms and restaurants, but mainly due to the staff.
We always give the hotel five stars as the standard is always fantastic. All the butlers are so cheerful and helpful.Raquel assisted us on our departure day and was so helpful and cheerful. A special mention to Vicky and Nerieda , who were so cheerful and fun, also all the staff at breakfast and poolside who all did a fantastic job( can’t remember all the names). Cesar our waiter at the buffet was very attentive and friendly. The cleaners did a wonderful job and our room was kept spotless. This is our third visit and we will definitely be back next year. We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Stunning hotel, with excellent views from the room and pool area. Everywhere is immaculate. Food and service is faultless, and staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Special mention to waitress Vicky, looking after our every need throughout the day. Very peaceful atmosphere, definitely somewhere we would visit again.
This is the perfect place to relax. The small annex to the much larger Anthelia gives the best of both worlds. Adults only and quiet, with its own lovely pool area, plenty of comfortable sun loungers and staff who provide friendly service. Lots of treats and extras and the butler team are very helpful both in arrangements for dinner reservations and information. Especially Aldair who gave us so many great recommendations about how to explore this beautiful island. There are the bars and restaurants of the main part of Costa Adeje if you want more lively entertainment and walking in the opposite direction to the village of La Caletta takes about an hour of easy walking.
Amazing staff, amazing rooms, amazing restaurants, just an amazing hotel. I stayed on my own and every member of the hotel team made me feel welcome and special. Thank you.
Excellent excellent excellent in all aspects of holiday
Such a beautiful hotel. In an amazing location with fabulous sea views. Offering exclusivity and a serene, calming atmosphere. The rooms are fantastic, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Competitively priced, exceptional value for money. The staff are amazing, very friendly yet professional and offering a very personal service. There is a great deal on offer at Salome. Lots of amenities which include, pools, spa, adult only section, family sections, spa, activities for all or quiet retreat areas. Fabulous!!
Don’t often do reviews but felt compelled to write one after one of the best weeks holiday we had for a very long time What has made this holiday so very special are the staff. Staying in the salome is quite intimate and so you get to know all the staff quite well So a massive thank you to all the ladies Yovana / Vicky / Rebeca / Janeth / Jessica / Viviana who looked after us daily for lunch and around the pool Also thanks to Aldair and Rachel for our daily chats on football All of you made our holiday unbelievably relaxing and very memorable Craig and Carol : room 306
We’ve just returned from a fabulous stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more impressed. The staff were exceptionally attentive and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was excellent throughout, and our room was both spacious and impeccably maintained. A special mention must go to Vicky, Jenth, and our wonderful butler Rachel, who were all absolutely exemplary and made a real difference to our experience. We will definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
Another chilled holiday the staff & hotel are fantastic
2nd year at the Salomi but a week later. Having a lovely time with attentive, lovely and sometimes funny staff (Vicky has great teeth and a contagious laugh). Attentive but discrete service and if you need pampering this is an ideal hotel. Hopefully back next year. Ps you get what you pay for.
Perfect holiday especially Tamara, Louis and raquel all perfect for a perfect stay
Very comfortable and clean hotel right by the sea. Vicky and all the team there were all so friendly and welcoming. Good food, perfect for a relaxing break
Set in a perfect location close to sea and shops , if your after a 5 star experience this is a great place the food is excellent and the service 2nd to none , friendly and helpful staff would highly recommend
Wow wow wow! Everything about this hotel screams luxury. It’s a hotel within the Anthelia but totally separate entrance if you didn’t know you wouldn’t know it was there. Only 33 rooms all overlooking the ocean. When you arrive you are met by your butler in the reception of the Anthelia. They escort you and your luggage to the private access to the Salome. Champagne and chocolates are provided while you check in. You are then shown to your room and if you haven’t stayed before given a tour of the facilities. The rooms are comfortable and very spacious with a very generous balcony with table and chairs and a double sunlounger. We had a suite and the living room was spacious and comfortable with everything you could need many extras included with your room. The bedroom had a large extremely comfortable bed with fresh linen every day. The bathroom had separate shower and toilet and a jacuzzi bath. The toiletries provided were of a high quality and smelled divine. Hair dryer and hair straighteners were provided and were more than adequate. Breakfast was ala carte every conceivable breakfast item was available from the buffet. Tea coffee and juice were served at the table. There was also an extensive list of cooked options all cooked to order. The pool area is large and very clean and best of all peaceful. Drinks and snacks are offered throughout the day and cool hand towels brought to your sunbed. There is a small smoking area close to the pool bar not for me but my husband appreciated it. Sun cream is available (Thalgo) . There’s a small restaurant overlooking the ocean where you can get lunch or drinks up to 10:30 in the evening. Now for the best bit the staff! All the staff are amazing and took very good care of us I wasn’t very well over our stay and the level of care and concern was outstanding. I honestly can’t find fault. We have already booked our return 🥰
Great location in Costa Adeje. Hotel facilities are of a very high standard, and kept beautifully clean. Stylish decor throughout. Great food options, with food presented and served with care. Staff are amazing - hardworking, efficient and very personable. Thank you for a wonderful week!
Very relaxing hotel excellent staff very helpful and attentive.
Small hotel, part of the Anthelia...nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a suite overlooking the beautiful pool and with a sea view. Complimentary flip flops towels and beach bag are just a small part of the thought which goes into your stay. The staff are courteous friendly and provide an excellent service. The on site resrurants Seasoul and Portofinos are delicious. I do recommend walking to La Caleta a small fishing village with a choice of fish restaurants. The market on Thursday and Saturday is also worth a look. Just be wary of pickpockets. This hotel is a little gem and a special treat for a winter break!
We have visited this lovely boutique hotel 3 times now and it is truly a wonderful relaxing place. Nothing is too much for them to do for you. The rooms are nice and impeccably clean. The staff in the Legato bar and Mirador restaurant are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Neireda (sorry if spelt wrong) runs the Legato Bar in the evening very efficiently. My husband also had an accident by the pool, tripped and cut his foot she provided first aid until the life guard arrived. In all 6 members of staff attended my husband - luckily nothing too much to worry about. Other members of staff at the pool and Legato Bar include Vicky, Luz Mary, Janeth and Rebecca , sorry for any whose names I've forgotten. They all made our stay wonderful. You can get wonderful sunset photos in Legato Bar. We enjoyed 3 lovely Italian meals in Portofino restaurant. Food so tasty, large portions. Restaurant run well by Jonathan. We had 3 superb fine dining meals in Poseidon restaurant run by Mossa and very efficient team, including Rebecca. I must say something about the lovely Rebecca who was such good fun, whilst doing her job very well. She recommended a good wine 🍷 to my husband. Please pass on our compliments to this wonderful member of your team. All in all we had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning
Superb location, fabulous hotel whose staff will go above and beyond to make your holiday a fantastic experience ! Thank you all very much, we will be back
What a wonderful hotel with even more wonderful staff who can't do enough for you … Our room was fantastic, the restaurant food was exceptional and the whole ambiance of the place was perfect … we needed a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what we got. Thank you to everyone at JOIA Salome .. we will be back next year !
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
We stayed at Iberostar Grand Salomé in Tenerife in February 2026 and had a truly wonderful experience. We greatly enjoyed the hotel’s atmosphere, the convenient room location, the delicious breakfasts, and the overall sense of calm and cleanliness throughout the property. We would especially like to highlight the professionalism, genuine attention, and care of the hotel manager, Anna Dolina. Thanks to people like Anna, you truly feel valued as a guest, and it makes you want to return to the hotel again. We would be happy to come back and highly recommend this hotel.
We celebrated our anniversary for 6 nights in February. The hotel is lovely and the staff wonderful. We had a small issue at check in and they went way over the top to make it right. Raquel and Fran took every opportunity to ensure that we had a perfect stay.
Really chill hotel, good atmosphere. Rooms are clean. Maybe need some renovation in some places like the shower. Service is good at the pool, in the main restaurant too. Not much noise, lovely vacation location.
Once again, a great experience at a great Hotel. From arrival and check in throughout, everything was just brilliant - especially the staff. Janeth at breakfast was just great, always helpful and always remembered our daily order - even before we asked. Around the Pool, Rebecca and Nereida were always around to quickly serve us - including with a smile. Jenner maintained the pool area to an exceptionally high standard and was always available to help out. Finally, any review would not be complete with a mention of Vicky - whose friendly and efficient service was especially noticed.
Excellent service from minute 1. Great restaurant and bar staff couldn’t do enough. Young man named Oscar remembered our drinks on our second night.
We are staying at the Salome this week. Absolutely fantastic. All the staff are kind and friendly, can't do enough for you. 5 Stars all the way. The food is on another level. Exceptional ! All the rooms are luxurious and have a personal butler service. Can't wait to return.
Had a wonderful relaxing week in the Salome Hotel. Accommodation was superb with fabulous views from the veranda. A great selection of restaurants within the grounds and food was amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff made the experience a total delight. Will be back.
From start to finish the experience was outstanding due to the care and dedication of an exceptional team. From arrival our cases were swiftly taken away before I was even out of the taxi and we given a complimentary drink and this level of attention detail remained throughout our stay. I will definitely be coming back in the not too distant future
Reception through to restaurants to cleanliness to pool staff everything is seemless great holiday Special mention for the pool girl the guest experience effort she puts in is excellent she gets it she’s interested in the guests not just a job
The hotel is very luxurious and staff could not have been more helpful Beautiful clean room, great balcony with wonderful sea views 10 out of 10 for every aspect of this hotel
Lovely peaceful hotel with wonderful staff. Very comfortable rooms and service. A treat to be in such a small hotel with hotel Anthelia and many activities should you wish them We enjoyed our banter with Vicky at the pool and at breakfast and hearing and watching the sea from our sun beds
Śniadania bardzo dobre, szeroki wybór potraw i napojów, profesjonalna obsługa kelnerska i kucharska.
I arrived at the hotel with a very warm welcome from Daniel, he gave me a brief tour of the hotel, I had a glass of champagne while we did the necessary paperwork. My room (307) was lovely and spacious as was the balcony, there was a separate toilet and shower cubicle and also a whirlpool bath, there was even hair straighteners ( although I took my own as I didn’t realise), the mini bar was stocked full of drinks and there was a separate rack with a bottle each of red, white and rose wines, these were all free, the only thing that wasn’t free was the bottle of Moët and Chandon, there was also jars of nuts/sweets, the room had a separate lounge and there was all the usual things in the room like a safe, ample storage space and plenty of coat hangers!!! The pool area was spotless and the sun beds came with neck cushions and a bolster cushion, there was also a bell that you rang if you needed anything, there was an endless supply of clean towels, attached was a pool bar where you could get snacks from 1pm-4pm daily, there was the main pool and the infinity pool which had jacuzzi jets, both were heated, the drinks kept flowing and the staff would bring round drinks/ snacks/appetisers during the day. There was a main buffet style restaurant which catered for everyone’s dietary requirements, there was so much to choose from, including food cooked from fresh while you waited, there were other restaurants which were pre bookable ( thank you Raquel for booking me in) my favourite was Poseidon, a gourmet restaurant, the food was some of the best I’ve tasted and there were appetisers in between courses, the atmosphere was great and the staff were fantastic, special shout out to Mossi, he went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and took the time to recommend certain dishes and wine, it was so lovely that I ate there for 3 nights, Portofino and Sea Soul were also great, lots of choice on the menu and very friendly staff that went above and beyond, if you sat outside at any restaurant portable heaters were lit and blankets provided if needed. There was a promenade where you could walk to La Caleta or to Playa and it was definitely safe to walk of an evening, there were also lots of shops, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. I could go on about the Salome forever, the trip advisor reviews say it all and I would like to thank all staff for giving me such a warm welcome, the week was fabulous and here’s a big shout out to Daniel, Raquel, Chiara, Joselin, Vicky, Janeth, Jessica to name only a few ( sorry I am terrible with names) See you all next year ❤️
High quality small hotel, cleverly positioned within a much bigger hotel (so we had the quiet of the 'adults only' with all the facilities of a bigger resort. Pool area really relaxed with cute bar.
Couldn't change the location but too close to the ultra-touristy part of Adeje for our liking. Micro location fine as right opposite beach footpath.
This is my third stay at the Salome hotel and everything is always perfect every year I have been here Vicky one of the Waitresses as always been extremely helpful and remembers what I drink and the food that I like I can’t thank her enough it’s staff like this that keeps bringing me back to this hotel and I will be booking again for next year
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Attentive, lovely staff. Superb food. Quiet and elegant surroundings. Chav free. Best hotel experience in years. Jessica's negronis excellent, Rebecca's humour infectious and for Daniel nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful room and great facilities. 5 stars from me.
Had the best week to start 2026 here. The food is amazing so much to choose from, pool area is beautiful clean and never a problem getting a sun lounger. Staff can never do enough for you especially Rebeca who works on the bar, friendly, funny and nothing is ever a problem. Can’t wait to come back in march.
Amazing staff, hotel, service. Nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful resort that just gets better every year. Been visiting for 21 years and will keep coming back to this special place.
Enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay to get away from the bleak UK weather. The rooms were great and I especially loved that you could walk out of your room and straight to the pool ( we had the terrace ground floor rooms) Butler service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for Daniel, Raquel and Vicky who were so friendly and happy to help with requests. The poolside bar was fabulous with great food, snacks and drinks special mention to Rebecca and the team who were always had hand with a smile and warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety on the menu. Had lunch in Portofino and the paella was delicious. Also had the signature massage in the spa and it was heavenly. A perfect break my only regret was I didn’t book to stay longer.
Amazing place to spend the day. Cannot fault it. The pool area and the attentiveness of the bar staff was second to none. Hugely enjoyable day.
Superb quality all round. Fabulous food, attentive staff, clean and spotless Jaselin was extremely helpful and professional in her approach & custom, she recognised my family from last year. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Hotel Salome is amazing, from the restaurants to rooms, to general areas /bars are so nice, decorated for Christmas look so special and so much effort applied. The staff cannot do enough to help and ensure your holiday is first class. Especially Raquel, Jaqueline and Joffer the butlers, Janet, Rebecca and Jaqueline in the restaurants. Mossi and Chevvy in the Portofino restaurant and the girls in the Salome pool restaurant. Staff are all wonderful and make the stay special. Thank you! My first visit, my mother has visited regularly over the years.
Our third visit and it gets better each time. Everything about the hotel is excellent but the “stars of the show” are the staff. The butlers, the bar and restaurant staff in Legato, Poseidon, Portafino. Sea Soul and the lobby bar cannot do enough for your comfort and service. We are made to feel special like part of the family by their friendliness and personal touch.
From beginning to end customer service and anticipating guets every need was beyond compare. An ideal adults only 5 star hotel just a short hop from the UK with year almost guaranteed good weather, what more could seasoned discerning travellers who prefer a quieter resort want. I would highly recommend this hotel if this is your type of resort and holiday.
This hotel has definitely lived up to all our expectations. Such an immaculate pool area with stunning views out to sea. Our garden suite is pristine & everything has been luxurious. The members of staff are so friendly & helpful, especially Daniel, Vicky & Peña. We came here to relax & unwind, & we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Poseidon gourmet restaurant is excellent, as is Zeus Buffet restaurant, with an amazing selection of quality food on offer. Lagarto restaurant is a little haven by the pool, & with such attentive & jolly staff. My husband & I will definitely be coming back next year….we have found our piece of paradise in Costa Adeje. Thank you to everyone who has made our stay here so wonderful:-))))
Small, luxury hotel, excellent friendly staff, especially Vicky in the poolside bar Really lovely breakfast restaurant. Will be back, Spiderman
3rd time here now and its always excellent. Staff are fantastic and cant do enough for you! Pool is warm and everything is clean and immaculate. Rooms are great. It's quiet with no rif raf and no kids.
We visited again this November, and once more the hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. We try to come at least once a year, and every stay reminds us why we keep returning. The food is consistently outstanding – beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavour. Every meal feels special. The service is second to none. Staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcomed and looked after from the moment you arrive. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It truly feels like a home away from home. A huge thank you to the whole team for another memorable stay. We can’t wait to return next year!
A great location and facilities. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet and being a little spoilt then this is the place. The Salome pool bar terrace is particularly relaxing with great staff. A special mention to the wonderful Vicky but really all of the staff were fabulous and friendly and helpful.
We would just like to thank Vicky and the team for looking after us with a first class service. This is our return visit to this hotel and look forward to returning again in the future.
We’ve spent numerous previous holidays at The Anthelia and never thought it could be worth changing to The Salome, however, this year having booked rooms for our families at The Anthelia, there were no further vacancies there during our grandchildren’s half term, so, sadly we were forced to book into The Salome, we decided to go for 9 nights and we should have booked for 90! It was an absolute treat, all the staff were kind, patient and gave excellent service. The breakfast was exceptional, we couldn’t fault it, my coffee requirements could be considered over the top, but the cups were delivered exactly as I liked them, the eggs Benedict which I requested without the sauce was perfect for me, the fresh fruit, pastries, fresh juice etc etc etc. The menu choice was huge and you could really have most things you wanted, how you liked them, my husband had the crepe stuffed with cheese and ham and asked for a small amount of smoked salmon on the side. The different restaurants in the hotel are all perfect, but as we had the family with us, we were all only on half board, we normally ate in the Zeus buffet restaurant, although for one night all the family ate in The Poseidon for my birthday (where the family were charged a reasonable supplement) on the two nights we were on our own we ate at Sea Soul, the hot panko prawns starter and the lobster starter were delicious the fish and the slow cooked suckling pig were also really enjoyable, the puds were great too. I’d like to name all the staff who were so helpful, but I can only remember one name, Raquel, who replied to my emails before we arrived and was helpful and cheerful, along with the rest of the lovely staff, while we were there. My only complaint is we’re not going to enjoy other hotels as much as we enjoyed The Salome, I wish I was there now!
Great hotel, super location and facilities such exclusive pool area, exclusive restaurant for breakfast. Nice staff!
Simply the best hotel ever stayed at. Apart from the wonderful facilities great restaurants and peaceful relaxing pool area what makes it special is the staff. Met with wonderful smiles and fantastic service by everyone throughout the holiday. We have enjoyed our time here so much already booked for next year
Best hotel we have stayed at, most wonderful staff ever, especially Vicky. It is so peaceful yet luxurious, a real winner
This was our second visit to Salome, having visited last year in March 2024. Everything is pretty much the same; lovely warm welcoming staff as before. However, we felt that the rooms are now looking very tired and worn, e.g. the bathroom shower doors had peeling film and trim, in the bedroom the laminate flooring was badly marked and scuffed. Also, the same with the tiles on our balcony. Our aircon was not working and had to be repaired, one of our windows was ajar and unable to close because of a broken handle, so had to be fixed also. Further, more worryingly, the door to our suite wasn't locking after we closed it on our way out; luckily we checked before leaving otherwise our room would have been left unlocked all day. We had to wait a while with the reception staff whilst they fixed it. On this note, the accommodation is advertised with a 'Butler' service, but it is more just a concierge service, as we had very little contact with them, apart from when we went to them with these problems. Also, I would have expected them to contact us the day before we left to come home just to see if we needed assistance the next morning on departure with cases etc, but we heard nothing from them before or during our departure. By the pool, there were quite a few sun loungers being reserved very early in the morning, which is not what you expect from a hotel of this calibre. The food and restaurants were great, as previously. But we feel standards have slipped a little, so we are unlikely to return. Despite these negative comments however, the holiday was still good and we had a lovely time.
100% brunch recomended, delicious food and views. A wonderful surprise with every course. Excellent service and will return to enjoy this treat.
