The place is spotless and so comfortable the staf are all lovely, bar and restaurant spot on
Nothing is all fantastic
The location to central Blackpool was close and very clean.
No fresh coffee at breakfast. That’s my only fault.
The room was nice and quiet clean etc, , plenty tea and coffee, breakfast was lovely the staff were great all round great hotel and free parking when available, which it was.
All was fine...
Friendly staff, good breakfast, superb evening meal.
As per usual our stay wasn't long enough.
The Thai food, buffet, staff were polite and friendly.

Really good value for money . Liked that the hotel bar was open and we could have a relaxing drink after a long day
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, Sports on in the bar, free car parking
The en-suite needs renovation
Food was very good, staff were friendly.
Fantastic Hotel, stayed here many times, fabulous staff and the rooms are beautiful, beds are so comfortable, and a friendly place xx
Perfect location, friendly welcoming staff and brilliant food.
Location perfect- off the main drag and close to a music venue we were attending. Breakfast fabulous and fully catered for my wife’s Gluten intolerance with an excellent cooked breakfast. The restaurant is particularly recommended for a wonderful buffet of Asian food, all well labelled for content and allergies 10/10 for food. The bar is comfortable and affordanle with pool table juke box and sky tv.
Nothing
Just right for a short break
Nothing in particular
Everything fro the cleanliness, the staff, breakfast and buffet restuarant, and the bar were excellent.
There was nothing not to like.
hotel was excellent 2 mins from train station Very Clean Staff exceptional service Will be returning without doubt
nothing all was perfect
Clean, comfortable room with a large bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent
Exceptionally clean,excellent service
We have stayed at the this hotel many times & the stay has always been enjoyable. The food in the restaurant is well priced & good value for money 💰 the staff are so helpful & friendly, it's so nice to stay at the Gurkha ❤️ xxx.
Nothing.
Close to long stay carparks, clean and tidy, restaurant and bar attached ( but not noisy), friendly staff and about a 5min walk to the prom.
Comfortable andclean room, Friendly and helpful staff.
The Gurkha hotel was exceptional, the owner was fantastic with helping us he even let us leave our bags in early in order to go to our concert and left the bags in the room for us. The room was lovely and comfortable and had everything you needed. Highly recommended. *****

Peaceful hotel clean and tidy
The stairs are kinda of steep for us old ones but maybe we should have asked to be lower.
Lovely atmosphere inside the Hotel with good standard of decoration including war memorabilia from the owner. The restaurant was amazing with a very high class large choice of food served buffet style.
Nothing to comment.
The rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The man we met the first day at the desk on arrival was not friendly or welcoming. He was a bit rude to us.
깨끗하고 직원들이 너무 친절해요. 행복한 3박이었어요
Very clean room, with mini fridge and tea biscuit making facilities and cold water . Nice cooling fan in a spacious room. Handy local guide book and 10% off in restaurant below .. evening buffet was excellent value .. we slept really well in a back room ... Staff were helpful and friendly ..secure cycle parking also available. Ghurka museum was a nice little bonus ..my ex soldier friend said if you fought alongside Ghurkas you knew they had your back and had hearts of lions.. excellent value for money hotel and cleaner than any accomodation I have stayed in Blackpool
All good
Lovely hotel and very friendly and welcoming owner. The buffet restaurant was great with a good selection of food
The only fault is the hotel is directly across from an ambulance bay. This is no fault on the owner and back room can be requested if you struggle with the noise
Room was spacious and laid out well. Staff was amazing and breakfast was excellent value for money. Close walk to pleasure beach and seafront
Room was extremely hot, needed a more powerful fan for use during heatwave
Very central for where wee were going, highly recommend.
.
Friendly hotel with everything you need for your stay. Breakfast good value for money. Location was spot on for us as we had tickets to see bands at The Waterloo Music Bar but it was only £6.50 for an Uber down to the prom. We walked down as it was a nice day, took about half an hour.
Nothing to dislike, we were quite happy overall.
Perfect wee hotel room was clean and comfortable highly reccomend
A warm welcome by the owner, lovely themed hotel, very helpful staff, parking outside, great price, clean hotel, great food, bar was pleasant, 10 minutes walk from the seafront...just an absolutely brilliant stay. 5 stars.
Very educational reading about the Gurkha history and trying the food. Loved the cosy feeling of the room, but the steps took a while to get used to (had to leave a light on so we could walk to the bathroom at night). Maybe battery/solar light in the room would help. Close to everything and the Manager and staff were very helpful. Food was delicious everytime, and the buffet had a very varied selection.

Great food and selection of drinks at the bar, staff were great too. Great value for money .
Only downside was if you have a front bedroom , the ambulance station at night was busy so a lot of sirens .
Great run hotel, brilliant priced bar with friendly staff
Our room was to the front of hotel , busy road .
Very convenient, clean and rooms are good. The food is excellent as well and the bar is good.
Nothing
Clean rooms, excellent friendly owner and staff who were always helpful. Warm in the room so asked for a fan and it was put in the room straight away nothing too much trouble. Lovely bar and good prices.
Mattress was hard but that was just my personal taste I prefer a soften mattress nothing against the hotel they have to provide for various requirements and guests understandably.
The staff were very welcoming and go above and beyond to help you
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Nothing
Tiszta rendezett. A személyzet nagyon kedves segítőkész barátságos.
Nem volt ilyen.
It is a lovely hotel which is next to the Waterloo music venue, which is great as we were attending a gig. It was not too far to walk from the venue to the hotel, which was great for me as I have a disability. The staff were lovely and helpful and also always smiling, polite, and kind. Our room was cosy, clean, and very comfortable. The shower was amazing, especially on my aching body. Staff made sure we were stocked up with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. I look forward to staying there again.
Nothing not to like. Apart from not staying longer and eating at their restaurant. Their menu looked amazing.
Location, friendly staff and value for money
Heat in the room
Excellent all round x
The location
The room was slightly smaller than expected and really warm and really dusty also the stairs wasn’t convenient for carrying bags up and down to and from our rooms. Breakfast could’ve been better although for the price it wasn’t too bad. Overall, it was an average experience
The staff are fantastic as is the food! We re-booked for next year before leaving Blackpool
Excellent location very friendly staff food choices superb 👌 drinks prices very reasonable bar area and sports area superb 👌 Would highly recommend and I will return with family next time ! Thank you 😊
Nothing ! I'm happy 😊
Handy location, clean and friendly staff
A little awkward to find check in and no staff available but once we located the check in (you went through the restraunt entrance) it was fine.
Absolutely everything.! Booked for next year already. 👌

Brilliant location, next to The Waterloo Music Bar. Spotlessly clean . Staff incredibly friendly, bar prices are good. Excellent range of food in the buffet, all cooked on the premises. Lots of momentos of Mr Dil's illustrious military career and his Nepalese heritage. A little gem .
Hot water could be a bit erratic in the shower !
Food was ace, had all u can eat brill
The hotel was very good, staff were brilliant.the location was basically next to the Waterloo music bar,my main reason for the trip.
Going up and down the stairs was not what I needed, other than that my stay was excellent.
Close to the Waterloo pub
Staff polite. Room lovely plenty of room and was very clean.
Was there for 2 nights. There were 5 of us and the shower was cold no hot water.
Excellent breakfast Close to amenities
Clean and comfortable Friendly staff
Very friendly staff, adjoining bar was excellent and evening buffet food good
Breakfast was deep fried maybe a little too greasy for our taste and our room was a bit cold when we arrived but warmed up later with the portable radiator
Breakfast was lovely, room was clean and bed was very comfortable.
Room 120 could do with a curtain around the shower, as the shower is in the bedroom. Not a complaint just an observation.
Very clean and very welcoming hotel with great facilities Bar and restaurant also at the hotel which was amazing too Highly recommended and will be back Thank you all at the ghurka
Everything was perfect
The breakfast was of high quality and great value for money, attentive service without being invasive.Friendly staff, polite and courteous. Would definitely recommend the hotel,I would go back no probs.

Didnt have breakfast paid for it but came home early as I wasn't enjoying myself there
The location was good as it was near to a relatives home.. It was also a short walk to the esplanade.
Lovely couple of nights breakaway the room was clean warm and cosy nice that we didnt have to leave until 11 definitely want to return and try the food in the restaurant smelt delicious
everything in one package - room, restaurant, bar. Hotel staff friendly and helpful - the owner was very kind to with my request regarding room type. Very thankful for this.
nothing
Everything.
The hotel was great value for money- spotlessly clean and comfortable bedrooms. Conveniently located for main promenade and surprisingly quiet at night. It was really refreshing to stay in a family run business which is part of the local community. Much respect to the Gurkha service of the owner, the regimental memorabilia and Nepalese cultural items were very nice touches. Buffet food was great, especially hot Nepalese curry. Bar is good value and has mix of local people as well as guests.
Nothing
It’s fabulous for our visit to the Waterloo and fab buffet
It’s basic but good
Hotel is fabulous in a great location for our requirements .its spotlessly clean and the food was first rate ...the staff are so friendly and welcoming all our group said they'll definitely return

Good breakfast
We liked everything about the Gurkha hotel. Honestly it was absolutely outstanding. From the time you arrived at the reception desk the staff were amazing, pleasant and very helpful. The restaurant, the food was absolutely beautiful, stunning and so nice. Everyone at that hotel was superb, very helpful, efficient and very professional. It was so clean and tidy. Everything was spotless. It's a massive thank you from me. Because the hotel was superb, helpful and excellent with me. To be honest that hotel should be a 5 star and that is the honest truth. I have never been to a hotel as amazing and outstanding as this one. From the manager to all his staff, you are a credit to your hotel. You go over and beyond to help others. Keep being you, because the hotel is fantastic, beautiful, wonderful, caring, very friendly and a happy hotel.
I can't say because everything was absolutely first class service and outstanding staff etc.
The location was 10-15 mins walk but holte was clean friendly breakfast was good but could of offer apple juice maybe one thing we didn't like was we had 4-11 year old Thor was Alam or siran going off 6:30 one Moring and scaring kid hafe to deth 2end Moring. Was 6:45 Blaine scaring kids but on last night no Alam or what ever It was But room size was good
Noises hard beds
A unique and fantastic hotel with history, character, and amazing staff to match. Loved the Gurkha display! The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was conveniently located a short walk from Blackpool Beach promenade. I was pleased that we had free parking and, most of all loved the buffet restaurant with an extensive array of dish choices.
The room was too warm at night on hot nights. We had a fan but needed a stronger one.
Very friendly, welcoming staff. Good location for our trip to Waterloo Bar. Lovely food in restarant. Breakfast was great.
Very, very hard beds.
Excellent location excellent staff excellent food
Nothing
Convenient location and has amenities nearby, also walk away from promenade.
Restaurant timings odd and also not open all the time.
Location, staff always on point will definitely use again
Very tidy and no smell, clean & cosy
Some furniture update needed.
Very clean, comfortable, warm and excellent value
Nothing
Good location and well looked-after property. Has free parking.
We liked the location and the staff were polite. The property had a all you can eat buffet on the one side, good value for money. On the other side was a bar which had a pool table, dart board, plenty of seating and there were televisions showing sports. The bar options were good also staff were polite.
The amount of stairs to climb up to our room. The bed pillows were hard and uncomfortable to rest your head on. Limited parking space at the front of hotel, first come basis.
People a gurkha very friendly made me and wife welcome relax
Nothing really all good
Staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Visitors are made to feel incredibly welcome here. Breakfast was delicious and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Nothing to report. It was a wonderful break.
It was very spacious clean beds and towels quiet.
Dust on top ov picture frames.
Location food price staff
Lovely hotel very clean the staff were friendly. The bar area was really nice and drinks were cheap. The attached restaurant all you can eat buffet had a good variety and food was very good.
Nothing.
Very friendly staff. Clean place. Tea coffee biscuits provided. Water in fridge which was really nice. Very basic room but enough if you only sleep there.
In room you could feel smell of dampness. Radiator was set up to work in certain time so we had to use oil heater. There was no heater in a toilet so it was a little bit cold. Also it would be nice to have more hangers for towels to be able to dry them:) Otherwise everything was fine and I would recommend.
location was great nice walk into centre with multiple pubs on route.Breakfast was good quality and plenty of it but wasnt hot enough luke warm.
breakfast hotter
Nice and warm staff. Wonderful buffet and easy late night access. Beds were comfy with all the amenities to make your stay pleasant. Would definitely visit next time I am in Blackpool.
Well, the staff were not always available when you need them. I understand the need to conserve water, but the towels and sheet might need changing daily.
It was close to the center, good food, nice staff
I called before to make sure we have parking space, we arrived late and all parking was taken and they said we can look for a paid parking.. At nearly 12 am. The variaty of food was disappointing for £20 per person at an all u cam eat buffet, you can definetly eat way much better at other places and have more choice. Also our room was right next to the chimney and all the smell came into the room when they were making food so we couldn't even open the windows and it was boiling inside. They had a fan but some fresh air would've been nice.
The location was very good. All members of staff that I had interactions with were very friendly. Before booking I had never heard of the hotel, but after a great weekend I will definitely be booking accommodation there again.
I would have preferred the breakfast to have been a self service buffet style, but the breakfast I received was very nice.
The hotel staff were so lovely. Couldn't do enough and make us feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which was also really good. Would definitely return.
We had been up early to drive down from Scotland so we were having a early-ish night. Unfortunately there was a karaoke downstairs and the noise was really loud. Didn't finish untill about 1ish. Wasn't really anyone fault and next time I would probably join in. This time it unfortunately made it impossible to sleep on the Friday night.
