100 Pipers Hotel

The staff are great and I’m sorry to say but the only good thing about this property, we have come as a family with 2 young children aged 1 and 4 for one nights stay. The beds were comfortable and staff are great but that’s all I can say is good about the property.

The fact they put a family with a young baby at top of the hotel with 3 flights of stairs isn’t ideal No Travel cot was in the room on arrival or offered even when we rang before hand luckily we did, we got told to bring our own Absolutely freezing of a night, heating never came on once And the breakfast !! Just don’t bother unless ya want to be sick.

Very nice chap on the reception when checking us in and then showed us up to our room. Staff very friendly throughout the stay. Room was a good size and the beds comfy. Was fine for the three night stay. Shower decent although a wee bit on the small side. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room which was grand. Fairly good for the price we paid for the room.

Could do with a wee bit of modernisation perhaps but nonetheless it's fully functional and ideal for what we needed.

Rooms and location

Absolutely dreadful stay — avoid this hotel Our stay was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. We were initially given a room where there was a leaking sewage pipe, which was completely unacceptable and made the room unpleasant and unhygienic. We were eventually moved to another room, thinking the situation would finally be resolved. Unfortunately, it got even worse. We were woken up by water leaking through the ceiling and onto our door. At this point, it was impossible to feel safe, comfortable, or relaxed. For the price of a hotel stay, the condition of the rooms and the lack of basic maintenance were completely unacceptable. What should have been a relaxing stay turned into a stressful and thoroughly unpleasant experience. I would strongly recommend that management address these serious maintenance and hygiene issues before continuing to accommodate guests. One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.

Staff were super friendly from start and approachable throughout our stay. Hotel is in a great location within a short walk down to the beach or tram making it easy to see the sights..We had a family room with a lovely view of the tower, Our room was perfect, beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. 100% recommend staying here! Thank you so much for having us we will definitely be back next year.

It was incredibly fortunate that there is a toilet downstairs that we were able to use especially while waiting to check in after a long journey, but the toilet seat not being attached at all was surprising

On Arrival they were busy didnt have the time for guests at all shown to room 30 mins after arrival when we should have been aloud in at 3 which is when we arrived . Wasnt told when room was booked or on arrival that breakfast was at another location rang the number we were given to ask where our breakfast was being served and were connected to a differant hotel . Very awkward walking into another hotel so we didnt go for our breakfast on the second morning even though we had paid for breakfast for two mornings. Handle was hanging of bathroom door no one was around to report this too. Very bad service and was not worth £100 per night. Very disappointed

Our room was on the top level upstairs and the building is an old style guest house so the stairs were steep, glad I was travelling light.

I love the location being central to all activities and will definitely be staying again. Had a wonderful 3 nights with my kids and we will be going again soon.

The property located very close to the beach and clean. The rooms were very good. Hotel staff were good n helpful when you could find them without ringing the mobile number.

The supposedly amazing breakfast was below average at best n not amazing at all no taste no black pudding n not very enjoyable. The rooms were nice enough apart from a constant knocking behind the bathroom every time you turned light on and the mattresses were too soft n needed changing, not as it says on all the sites as an amazing hotel!!

Host was well mannered, polite and attentive and very helpful indeed. Bed was comfy, clean and nice white cool linen and fresh towels/toiletries provided. Local to newsagents, tram stops & amenties 5-10 mins away meant location was all perfect for what we needed during our stay. Fan & Heater included at no extra cost. Excellent Value for money.

Some small parts of the room had issues like the shower perhaps needing re-siliconed or tlc in some parts other than that no complaints.

Can’t fault this hotel, from the room to the staff I have zero complaints. Beds were really comfy and room was clean. Staff was really helpful and friendly. I will be booking this hotel everytime I’m in Blackpool now

Location was central and close to the tram line. Room was a decent size and had a decent tv.

No one was available at the bar/reception when needed. There was a leak in the roof but there was no one available to speak to. Also went to the bar area at 8pm and there was no one there and had to ring the door bell for attention. Breakfast didn’t start until 9am which wasn’t ideal as we had plans.

It was difficult to contact as no response to the number provided. However, I left a note with several requests and each of them was immediately attended to so this wasn't a problem as staff were very helpful. Can't comment on facilities such as karaoke/DJ/bar as this wasn't in use.

The staff were welcoming, decaf coffee in rooms which is a huge plus, fresh bedding/towels/ amenities half way through our stay. Easy check in/ check out.

Breakfast instructions were unclear and we don't know whether or not we had to say in advance and we didn't know whether the eating area was open.

The double mattress in the family room number 12 felt like sleeping on nails. The spings in the mattress are just ridiculous and would recommend replacing ASAP

We arrived after booking and it was closed. Looked closed for quite a while. So we had to book another hotel at the side of the road

The hotel is easy to find and midway between the main attractions, with easy Tram access both ways. The room was spotless, as was the en suite. The room was well-heated and warm. The full breakfast was excellent - and I liked that I was asked about each ingredient. The reception staff were very helpful, and took the time to assist without being asked; top marks for that.

The room did not have a sea view, but only hotels on the beach front do so that was ok. Nothing really to say as the hotel met and exceeded expectations. It is right next to the beach - a moments walk.

Great hotel, comfortable rooms with a bar & pool table. The owners/staff are friendly and very accomodating. Plenty of refreshments in the room and clean towels & bedding with toiletries provided.
