Sylvia and the staff,were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good and hot with plenty choice,very efficient. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean ,decor was a bit dated

The shower wasn't very powerful,room 17 it was hard to get the temperature right,it scalded my skin ,I ended up using the shower in one of our party's room,we were on the top flat which was hard as 3 of us are in our 70tys,I should have checked before booking, so not really the hotels fault.

Very clean hotel, rooms were all a good size & the beds were very comfortable. All the staff were very helpful & friendly, & we all enjoyed a good breakfast 😋 Was great that the property had a stair lift for our mum to use during our stay. Great there was a car park too, only charged £5 a night.

Location was great, parking was a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is very basic which was perfect for us as we just wanted somewhere to sleep and then go out for the day - Liverpool, Lake District and Eccleston plus exploring Blackpool. For us this was a perfect stay . This place isn’t for everyone , if you’re looking for luxury this isn’t for you. If you just want a bed and breakfast then out for the day/evening then this basic hotel is perfect .

Silvia,kitchen staff and the cleaners were all very nice and polite, the room was very adequate for the three of us, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff came round to see you to make sure you got what you asked for. The bar and pool table made it all worth while if you wanted to stay on the premises.

Me(ken)and callum(my grandson)wished there was a dartboard in the bar area,it would have made it even better. We noticed that there was once a dartboard in this room because there was a brass line bracket on the floor,this being a marker for the dartboard oche.

The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were all lovely ,nothing was to much trouble

Absolutely lovely Hotel, very homely and cosy. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. It is a more dated hotel but didn't mind this at all, it reminded me of my childhood so gave good vibes and memories. Room was a decent size and Sylvia and Robbie were absolutely fantastic hosts! Breakfast was perfect and Sylvia was very accommodating with my children's requirements and requests, (the pancakes are absolutely gorgeous!). It has a pool table and bar area for evening time and is located in a excellent location to the main strip but didn't hear any noise from outside at all.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

breakfast was fantastic, the room was great with an en-suite bathroom, shower and sink area, very spacious! the place was spotless and couldn't fault the staff, they were on hand whenever you needed them

i cant fault them at all. They were excellent with everything we asked for, kind, understanding and very well mannered. i cant find any issues with the entire stay, they even kept our bags on check out day while we picked up final items to take back home.

The area is rough which we know is not the hotel’s fault. They have certainly made the best of it, making it into an oasis, a safe little sanctuary in the middle of a not so great neighbourhood.

Staff were all friendly. Room clean and tea, coffee etc. We were asked if we needed more for 2nd day. Hotel near B&M store, which was handy for drinks as we were there in heatwave. Breakfast good, and even offered to go and get wholemeal.bread as i asked for some.

Room was a bit small, but probably felt more so.as so hot outside. Window had lovely view of the tower lit up at.night though.

Easy to find central location next to old tram sheds - two minute walk to promenade and five minutes to town centre. Clean and tidy throughout, in-room complimentary condiments were nice touch and shower room/bathroom spotless and well equipped. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Bed in my particular room was older and could do with a new mattress - my colleague suggested same for their room. Booking.com did not make it clear that car parking was to be paid for, also payment was requested in advance before check-in and asked for in cash. Older building so stairs are steep and narrow though they have a stairlift.

Silvia and her staff are amazing hosts, made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room was great with all the facilities required to make our stay comfortable,we could even see the tower from the window. Breakfast soooo good and lots of it .

Amazingly sweet staff, very caring and on their toes to fulfill every wish. Amazing full English breakfast. Accommodation including breakfast costs less than the breakfast upcharge in other hotels.

Ground floor room requested,but when we arrived it was not available. We were given a 1st floor room, but no lift available. Also it was further from coach station than expected.
