Sea Stone Hotel

Sea Stone hotel is an excellent location, especially if you are going to the BIC, it is literally just across the road from the venue. Our room was very spacious with large windows making it nice and bright. Nice bedding but the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Large bathroom, very clean, good toiletries and lovely towels. . Breakfast was good. Although too much crowding around the tea, coffee, juice area.

A few times the reception was left unattended when we wanted to collect our key.

The window in our room was a little unsafe, if opened fully. The safety bar wasn’t sufficient enough to stop a child from falling.

It's looking tired in places but a lot of seafront hotels do in Bournemouth. It was a pleasant stay,family room was a good size. Lovely view of the pier.

Our room was superb with wonderful view out to sea and the pier. Breakfast was good with choice and quick service. Location amazing. As a blue badge holder was able to park at hotel such a bonus 😊 reception staff polite and professional .

Spotlessly clean throughout and staff helpful and friendly. Decor fresh. Good quality furnishings and carpet. Has a lift. Cheap car park next to hotel.

Beds in twin room are very slim I fell off the bed 4 times. 3 times turning over and once just getting into bed lol. Good for a laugh but maybe not for everyone. Beds are not normal single bed size they are much slimmer in width.

I feel for the room given the price was a bit much. Especially when the shower is tiny, the radiator was on in summer? And the fan provided didn't do much unfortunately. The room overall was fine but I think for the price given amd the fact none of the room looks like the photos online then perhaps they need updating.

The property was clean, ample for what we wanted and the staff were fantastic. Good location with sea view.

Would have preferred a walk in shower but that’s down to my wife’s mobility issues but we managed with what we had so no complaints

I often work in Bournemouth, this is my go too hotel, great staff, cleaners do a 10/10 job and the breakfast is the icing on the cake.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and equipped with fridge,kettle and coffee machine. It provided a sea view.

Having stayed at the hotel many times it was disappointing that the hotel bar and the fine Crab Restaurant was closed for main dining. The breakfast was served in the restaurant with limited table service , hot food cooked to order was served.

The bedroom i was in was clean and comfy. Bath panel needs to be replace otherwise great for a overnight stay. Staff was happy and welcoming

Breakfast wasnt great for a full English eggs was cooked to my liking but tasted like fry onions. Sausage was disgusting toast was cold and hard overall the Breakfast was cold. Should off stuck with cereal and pastries

The hotel was generally fine and everything was as expected, but the rooms are quite dated and really need refurbishment soon. Unfortunately, our room also had a strange unpleasant smell, as if something had been left or trapped in one of the corners. The pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable — one pillow was not enough, while two were too many, and the quality was quite poor. The mattress was also very uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. When one person moved, the other could feel the whole mattress moving. We were also disappointed with the view. Although the room had three large windows, they faced directly onto a wall, so there was absolutely no street view, which was quite frustrating. On the positive side, the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. However, considering the condition of the room, the uncomfortable pillows and mattress, and especially the windows facing a wall, we felt the price was too high.

Really nice hotel with character, unlike the chain hotels which all look the same. Really wonderful staff and the location is right near the beach and bus stops. We had a beach-facing room, which had a beautiful view of the pier and the sea. Daniel was very helpful and polite. The breakfast is freshly made and delicious. The price was sensible too.

First room had issues with odour, issue was resolved promptly and we were moved to another room Issue with parking, we were advised that there was no guest parking, so we had to pay for overnight parking, but later found that some guest were able to park in front of the hotel.

Fijne locatie, bij de pier en tegenover het congrescentrum. Ontbijt met alles erop en eraan. Het hotel is wat gedateerd, maar dat heeft ook z'n charme.

Very friendly staff

Loved our stay in this hotel. We booked signature room facing the beach. Although it was a beach view room and we loved it, some of the view was blocked by buildings. We got a 3rd floor room. Receptionist was too kind to change our room next day to 4th floor with a bigger view and i couldnt stop enjoying sitting at the window :). Thank you for the hospitality. Staff was amazing too. Added 3rd and 4th floor window pics.

Rooms not much facilities

The receptionist were quite friendly. The room was rather large, and I was lucky having a quiet(er) room into the backyard. Breakfast staff was quite flexible turning the vegetarian breakfast into a vegan breakfast for me. Location very close to conference center, beach, and city center.

The hotel is really old, very aged, cleanliness is very bad (my socks were black after walking over the carpet in the room). The furniture must have been unchaged over the last 40 years or so. Room was very dark and quite depressing. Bathroom very small, had a hard time showering in the small shower. There are zero amenities in the hotel, it's just a room you're booking and a sad breakfast room with a weird atmosphere. It's a joke that this hotel has 4 stars. I would strongly recommend against booking here.

Room was nice. Loved the bottle of wine left as an anniversary gift for us. Food was ok Location was excellent, right on the beach and close to town.

The staff are really nice and friendly, amazing people. The location is great, whatever you need (the beach, town centre, gardens, etc) is within literally 5 minutes walk. The room was clean and comfortable. Getting plenty of sunlight.

There weren't much facilities. No spa, pool or garden. Even the restaurant was always empty (I honestly don't know if they served food?) Also there was no fridge and therefore no food in my room. Only a kettle, water, tea and coffee. But I don't think it was too big a deal.

Excellent staff, clean and very spacious bedroom with wonderful view of the sea, comfy beds. Good value for money. You can see that the place was once quite grand. It’s aged but pretty well maintained.

A few niggles; 3 of us stayed but there were only 2 cups, 2 water bottles, 2 milk sachets. The Nespresso machine didn’t seem to work and leaked. We had to ask housekeeping to help us with the key to our door as we couldn’t open our door on 2/3 occasions.

The location is fantastic and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. My room on the first floor was cool despite it being one of the hottest day when I arrived. There is a lovely view from the 4th floor balcony.

The continental breakfast was a bit on the light side on the first day but better on the second day. There was no smart TV in the bedroom, which would have been nice for the evening.

The hotel is very tired and in need of decorating/updating. Shower in room was very basic with no handheld shower head. No dinner being served in restaurant as renovations were apparently happening, although we didn’t see any. The breakfast was very basic/cheap ingredients. Main issue was the noise at night from other hotels playing really loud music. Got a small amount of sleep the first night and then had to resort to ear plugs the second night. So some serious sound proofing needed.

I had a wonderful stay at Sea Stone Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious my room was. Although it faced the road, I could still enjoy views of the Ferris wheel, Bournemouth Pier, and even the beach, which was a lovely bonus. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, pier, Lower Gardens, and the main high street, making it easy to explore everything on foot. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities. The room had a mini fridge, which was perfect for keeping my drinks cold during the summer, along with two complimentary bottles of water, a coffee machine, tea, and bathrobes. These little touches made my stay even more comfortable. For the price I paid, I thought it was exceptional value for money. I've stayed in more expensive hotels that didn't even provide complimentary bottled water or a mini fridge. I would definitely stay at Sea Stone Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bournemouth.

The only minor improvement I would suggest is replacing the traditional room key with a key card. A modern key card system would be more convenient and would enhance the overall guest experience. Other than that, I had a very enjoyable stay.

Only my room somehow was hot in night , it’s was hard to sleep in night but staff provided extra fan tho to help but still couldn’t sleep well 😔 but other room which my sisters was in , that was nice cold and comfortable to sleep for them 😊 may be it was us not lucky to get room . But room was clean and big.

Sentralt. Hard seng. Vi oppgraderte til stort rom med utsikt til sjøen. Ikke parkering på hotellet Stranden og området nedenfor var ikke koselig. Det var enormt med søppel og mye folk.
