Very good
Room , breakfast , location , spa facilities, reception staff .
Bar staff , poorly trained if any training was given , bar not manned or a wait for staff to attend.
The hotel is very conveniently located and the staff are friendly. The room was spacious and good selection at breakfast.
The cleanliness could have been a bit better and it would have been great if the kids swimming hours would have been enforced by the staff. Each day we went to the pool kids were allowed to remain in the pool after the hours published, which is why we went during these specific hours. I was also enrolled to their loyalty program, without my consent, which took quite a few emails to get resolved, but thankfully the team has now deleted my account.
Loved the staff and had a few problems in which they sorted very well.
Bed very very uncomfortable room dated and need a upgrade.
Clean tidy
Couldn’t use Pool as to full
Two night clubs next door, continus noise between 10pm and 2pm.
The location is good
Lots of things. The place is dirty. The foyer by the door getting in where there are chairs for smokers 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮. The reception the Indian lady super rude and puffy attitude. Restaurant goodness me. It’s so dirty. They don’t clean the tables well after other guests. There is actually a very bad smell in the restaurant. In rooms the carpet is dirty and smelly. We stayed in the 7th floor. Even cleaning of rooms. Hair clogging room 717. We asked for conditioner in room 715. For my entire stay they did not fix it. Oh my word. They are so dirty. Mind you I was coming from Bali the service came from high to trenches. No maaaaan!
The staff were amazing and the location is great
Bedroom curtains were torn and a mark on the carpet and pair of someone’s pants beside bed
Cozy and comfortable perfect stay
Nothing
Tv channels so bad no netflix or youtube and wifi.
Hermosa estadía en el hotel. El personal muy amable, fui con mi perro y le dieron una cama y un tarro para comer. A su vez la recepción tenía snacks para él, asi que si vas con una mascota es muy recomendable. La piscina se disfruto muchísimo!
The hotel was immaculate, it felt like a high end place. My room was large with lovely bathroom/shower and a comfy armchair. The bed was big and comfy. The pool was nice and warm, and the bubble pool a good addition. I didn't try the food so can't comment, but the bar/restaurant area has a nice open design. Also, it cost £13.50 to park in their secure car park overnight - you get until 1pm the next day.
the hotel is by a main road which is not that busy, but you do notice outside noise, which made it difficult to settle down if you're a light sleeper like me. (I was on level 2). Also, it sounded like someone was moving furniture around on another floor at 3am so that didn't help! So 2 stars off for the noise issue, but a lovely hotel
Clean; spa area was very lovely. Staff were overall lovely. Breakfast was really good.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice pool.great location.
Not enough staff and not friendly.
The cleanliness was very good, the breakfast was excellent. The pool was nice and warm and the added bonus of the sauna and steam room. The location was excellent
The receptionist staff were not very friendly or helpful. The beds are very hard and I didn’t get more than a few hours sleep a night because of them. When I complained the best they could offer was a mattress topper which did nothing. Had to see an emergency osteopath whilst on my visit. On leaving they did refund our parking charges as compensation but that just covered the osteopath not the lack of sleep. My daughter left her glasses when we left and they wouldn’t post them. Suggested I drove to pick them up ( 4 hours away) or send in a carrier (£70), in the end I just ordered replacements (£20) This is an excellent business trip hotel but not set up for families, there was no engagement with the kids to make them feel special on our stay or even a high five. We even asked for a pack of playing cards from the receptionist when we’re in the bar but told they don’t have any games.

It was clean, the reception smelt lovely and fresh. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was really clean
There’s only one lift
Location. Room. Breakfast fantastic l
No extractor fan in bathroom and AC does not clear the steam or smell in bathroom. Need extractor fan in bathroom room.
The hotel is in a good location if you need to head into the shops/ restaurants and also a short walk to the beach
Very Clean, spacious room, air conditioning, staff very helpful , loved the pool, restaurant was great, loved our stay
Only thing was the pool opened at a later time at the weekends so was a push to get my swim in .. put the property and staff no faults perfect
Large clean room. Great British breakfast. The location is close to the beach (10 minutes) and also close to the centre of the city for shopping. Amazing and friendly staff.
All went great and no complaints.
I stayed here for a week last month, and as someone who used to live in the area, I remember the excitement when this place was built. It was meant to be a real jewel of Bournemouth. Sadly, it's a long way from that now. My first room had a mattress that was essentially unusable, lumpy, with springs you could feel through it. The air conditioning didn't work either, in thirty degree heat. The room was also poorly decorated, with paint marks, scuffs and dirty marks throughout. I raised the mattress and aircon with reception in the morning and was told it would be sorted, or I'd be moved. I came back six or seven hours later to a different receptionist who knew nothing about it. Nothing had been fixed, and my room hadn't even been made up at five in the afternoon. I was moved to a second room with exactly the same decorating problems. Housekeeping was poor throughout the stay. On the occasions the room was made up, the bed hadn't even been made properly. It genuinely looked like the work of a bored teenager who couldn't be bothered. The whole property needs a deep clean. The lift is covered in fingerprints and looks like it hasn't been wiped in months. The spa itself is pleasant, but the changing rooms badly need attention, the showers are genuinely unpleasant and half the lockers don't work. For the premium rates being charged, this is deeply disappointing. Sadly, It just feels like nobody cares about the place anymore.
Great location. Modern hotel with great facilities.
Not alot to dislike. I wish our room had been cleaned prior to returning back from a day at the beach.
I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Hotel and was extremely impressed with the property. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with excellent facilities and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere throughout. The cleanliness was outstanding, from the rooms to all the public areas, and everything was spotless and very well looked after. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, making the stay very enjoyable. The spa facilities were absolutely fantastic and provided the perfect place to relax and unwind. The swimming pools were also outstanding—beautifully maintained, clean, and a real highlight of the stay. The overall leisure facilities were excellent and added an extra level of comfort and enjoyment to the experience. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Hilton. The combination of the beautiful property, excellent facilities, outstanding spa and swimming pools, and exceptional cleanliness made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend the Hilton to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience, and I would happily stay again.
little improvement to the comfort of the beds and pillows, it would be even better.
Breakfast was wonderful, the staff were very helpful and friendly.
When I checked into our room I was disappointed at the layout, it was not as nice as the pictures, there was also a dirty T Shirt in the wardrobe. The air con was very hard to use and the room was either freezing or too warm. I spoke to the receptionist and every issue was resolved quickly. The swimming pool had paper floating in it on the two occasions we visited. The pool needs to be checked regularly.
The breakfast was amazing - food was cooked to perfection and excellent range also. Staff were amazing especially Joshua and Brian (all the staff infact just cant remember their names!) who were extremely friendly and went above and beyond for guests. Staff at reception were also extremely attentive and professional.
Some guests namely an older woman on her mobility scooter took advantage and showed no regard for other guests leaving not much for anyone else. On one ocassion she literally cleared the fruit platter!!!! On other occasions, some families in particular groups of children would congregate around this section and would be seen coughing around the food which did not feel sanitary at all. Think staff were too lovely to confront but i do feel that this needs to be noted especially for this to be brought to parents attention. I was charged 150 for pre-authroisation - I've stayed here before and this never happened!!!! Swimming - felt that they should increase children’s timeframe, quite narrow. Also staff there werent the friendliest!!!!
Convenient location, but overall the experience fell far below the usual Hilton standard we are used to.
As a long-time Hilton guest, this stay was very disappointing, especially considering the rate was higher than three nights in London. Issues encountered during our 2-night stay: Check-out Request: After checking in late, reception refused a standard late check-out unless we paid an hourly fee, which has never been my experience at other Hilton properties. Breakfast Service: Highly disorganised and understaffed. Tables were left dirty, so we chose to eat elsewhere on our second morning. Housekeeping: Minimal effort only the bins were emptied. The bed wasn't properly made, and no fresh towels were provided. Pool & Jacuzzi: The chlorine levels were uncomfortably strong, causing itchy eyes. Used towels were left cluttering the loungers, and staff didn't seem to monitor the pool area or water temperature.
Everything
Our one-night stay across two rooms at the Hilton Bournemouth was an exceptional experience, starting with the rooms, which were immaculately clean, shiny, and impressively spacious with plenty of storage. We stayed very comfortable thanks to the reliable air conditioning and appreciated the thoughtful touch of complimentary waters after our long journey. The bathroom was a particular highlight, featuring a fantastic shower and wonderful-smelling toiletries. The service throughout the hotel was top-tier, with every member of staff proving friendly and welcoming, especially the helpful housekeeping team on our floor and the wonderful staff around the indoor pool and spa area, which the kids absolutely loved.
The only downside to our stay was the pillows, which were far too soft for our liking and prevented us from getting a good night's sleep, though we recognise that sleep comfort is entirely a matter of personal preference.
Cleanliness friendly stuff
None for now
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and found the hotel to be very clean and welcoming. The staff were particularly accommodating and helpful. The breakfast team were absolutely lovely every morning, and the reception staff were also brilliant, friendly, helpful and always happy to assist.
There were a few things that could have improved our stay. The room felt quite stuffy as there was no way to open a window and get any fresh air, which was particularly noticeable during the warmer weather. There was air con, but fresh air would be nicer. We were also disappointed that swimming lessons were taking place during some of the designated children's swimming hours. As the children's pool times are already quite limited, it was a shame to lose some of that time to lessons, particularly when staying at the hotel with children and planning around the allocated family swimming sessions. At breakfast, both the bacon and sausages seemed undercooked on each morning of our stay. This was disappointing as the breakfast itself had a good selection, and, the serving staff were fantastic.
Clean
It's the Hilton - clean, over priced but cosy.
The steam room/hot tub....non existent really.. really small very cramped...wasn't at all what we thought it would be. Couldn't get to the roof top either.
Was close to the beach, had a swimming pool and sauna included
Was my first time staying at a Hilton Hotel, I was expecting something really exceptional, however it felt like a Travelodge. £50 deposit on arrival despite already having paid online. Just a normal hotel but very very expensive!
Location only
We arrived around 6 pm Check in was smooth but room was not ready so we have to wait till the room was getting ready even we checked in 3 hrs later than the earliest check in time We dine in the main restaurant at the ground floor When we are ordering the food from the menu, staff seems to have no knowledge about the menu, not informed that kids eat free when accompanied by adult, we awaited for long to place the dinner order as staff were just not there They were seems to be not trained for this job Bedding was very uncomfortable
The breakfast was excellent, the facilities gymn and swiming were also great.
The room aircondition wasn't working.Complained about the room A/C which wasn't working and was really impressed how the team lead Renata handled and resolved the situation and also offered us compensation. She was excellent.
Good size rooms , clean , great friendly staff
Lifts are busy , take ages to get one , no signs for stairs ?
Staff were excellent. Especially Kian in restaurant and Charlotte in reception.
Good value all round. Clean comfy rooms, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, breakfast, restaurant, bar, relaxing areas, air conditioned, towels … all round great
Swimming pool The room
Free breakfast
Pool and breakfast were lovely
I pre booked months ago a surprise birthday package for my fiancé on arrival on the 7th August. Which wasn’t there so I queried reception who admitted that it was on my booking and was rearranged for the following day but at that point the surprise was ruined as I was disappointed and my partner noticed. So that wasn’t great
Breakfast just warm
Amazing property! We asked to be placed higher up and the view overlooking Bournemouth which was great! The bathroom looked very modern and the bed was very cozy and luxurious
There was a constant dog barking repeatedly which was annoying and a lot of stains on the wall and paintings with the stains. The bed was quite creaky whenever turning over which caused my partner to wake up a lot
Nice big room with aircon
Nothing
Clean, and presentable room. Thank you! Everything you might need.
Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Frisch auf Wunsch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal im Restaurant, Frühstück und Bar.

Location and style
The room is very clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The cleaning team is very hardworking. The location of this hotel sits at the heart of Bournemouth, which makes everything convenient.
However, there are still several things which kind of bothered me: (1) The reception only has one staff member most of the time; the queue is very long, and the processing time for each client is very long. (2) The window curtain rail is designed for 100% light block, but the curtain is broken. So there is always a gap between the curtains, which I do not like; I like 100% dark. (3) There is always a sort of coffee machine working noise happening in the room from time to time; I do not know where it comes from, which can be annoying during my sleep. Is it the fridge's sound at the back? (4) The amenity: the mug and cups provided are too small; I can barely use them. (5) There are two water refreshing can next to the reception, but most of the time, either there are no cups or one of them is empty; staff should take more care about it.
We’ve stayed for two nights in Aug and it was not what we expected. The reception was ignoring us all the time even for simple things we need to talk and the staff were rude and disrespectful. Breakfast was ok with basic food, helpful and nice staff, although understaffed. Room was clean and quiet and no proper view from any of our 7 booked rooms. The reception staff needs to be trained.
Breakfast was excellent. There was a good choice of food. The staff, in particular, Kian, were fabulous. All the staff were very professional, friendly and ensured that all our needs were met. It makes such a difference to a holiday to be treated well. Kian remembered we had been last year and was welcoming and kind. He made sure that our needs were met. Excellent!
Nothing
Lugar céntrico, limpio, y muy buen desayuno! La gente muy amable y se interesa por comunicarse en Español.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, bed was horrendous, room was filthy, staff didn’t want to know would never ever stay there again
Very clean
I have just got home from the most wonderful Spa weekend at this hotel! From start to finish the weekend was perfect! We had such a warm welcome from Alyssia ( I hope that’s correct) followed by a wave bed session! The room was huge with a lovely sea view! Dinner was yummy, and with fabulous service! We slept well before enjoying a very well stocked breakfast! On to our last treatment! My massage with Mary was out of this world! I’m a local and there I still felt I’d got away from it all! This package was amazing value and I’m already planning my next one! Thank you to all the staff for making two tired teachers feel so special! A credit to the Hilton brand! I’ll be back!
Staff rude and unacomadating
Staff
A last minute stay on July 19th turned into something special , as a Diamond member my expectation was high...… we arrived slightly early and the room was not ready. A complimentary drinks voucher smoothed the way and we checked in around 330pm. We were allocated room 401 a Seaview suite with large seating, two TV's and two toilets and a balcony ..perfect ! The Exec lounge was closed but more drinks vouchers more than compensated for that. Breakfast on Monday morning was great with the restaurant manager Kian Cross enhancing the experiences , he brought us fresh coffee, great table and organised the poached eggs , he was the real Diamond …we will be back in the Autumn. Good stuff Hilton keep up the good work.
Location , Lola the waiter sang happy birthday to my partner and brought a little cake and candle out to him , as a special birthday, and was so kind and helpful , secure parking , breakfast ok if you are a hot fresh omlette
Beds awful old like sleeping on planks of wood , itched all over , my partner got bitten , food terrible at evening meal, rooms need updating , told I had sea view by the hotel , it was over grown trees and a run down building to look at , advised also as garden view on line ,some staff unhelpful and a manager , spa tiny no room to use it , smallest swimming pool and jacuzzi, no help if you have disabilities , blocked sink , broken loo seat , phone in the room didn’t work ,food served cold at breakfast
We always stay here when we are in the area. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds extremely comfortable always get a great nights sleep. Location also excellent for exploring the area.
This time we were disappointed with the reception service on booking in and checking out. We had to wait quite a time for someone to appear when we booked in and when she did appear she went on the computer keeping us waiting for quite a while. This was also the case when checking out the next morning there was no one on reception and again had to wait quite a while. This hasn’t happened to us before at this hotel so we were disappointed with the reception experience.
Very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed.
Nothing
The room looked okay but I couldn’t stay because the bathroom was dirty. I asked to have it cleaned and it was, but it stayed dirty. I was upset and couldn’t stay. I asked for a refund but wasn’t given one so I left.
Nice breakfast. Clean friendly staff Nice pool Good location
Poor air con Pricey
It was great
Comfortable accommodation that accepts children as well as pets. Helpful staff when resolving noise issue from across the road.
Veldig sentral beliggenhet Fint rom med utsikt over Bournemouth God frokost Barn bor og spiser gratis
Maten i restauranten sto ikke til stedet
Great location, exceptionally clean . Reps were very polite and friendly
During hot summer weather did not have access to a balcony as windows could not open. However, AC had a few issues I informed staff who rectified it… thanks for 1 night of a cool sleep.
The hotel is very close to the beach. We had dinner at the restaurant and had a very good experience. Special thanks to Ryan and Josh. Very good customer service.
All good
All nice
The King Suite was wonderful, but room service was terrible. I phoned room service at 8.20 and let it ring for 4 minutes, then called 3 times again, let it ring and still no one answered. At 8.40. I went to reception and she said to order from the bar. All I ordered was a chicken Caesar salad. Went back to my room. At 9.45, over an hour later I went back downstairs and was told it had been sent up 5 mins ago, obviously that was a lie as I was in the room. Then someone else came over and said he was in the phone and outside the room now. So I said tell him to wait and I’m going straight back. No one was there. It was another 15 mins that it arrived. 1 hour and 40 minutes to get a cold salad.
The hotel was spotless extremely clean. The Room was amazing and the reception staff were very good. Infact all the staff were great except one young lady chef who was a great let down to the hilton. She was swearing and slamming plates because I sent the burnt pizza back which was inedible. The food was a total let down for the hilton which was disappointing. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't return to the hilton due to the food
The food was awful and the young lady chef was awful and should not be working for the hilton.
Stayed here for a couple of weeks in June on business + a weekend to explore the town. The hotel is very well designed, rooms look great for their age (10 years now), there are minor scuffs on furniture etc. but nothing major. Gym has lots of equipment, free weights, squat racks, a cable machine, plus all the usual cardio pieces. The pool and sauna / steam room are also excellent and were never too busy in the afternoons or mornings despite the hotel being fully occupied. Only downside I would mention is communication with housekeeping staff - I required a top up of shower gel which took over 2 days to resolve; at first I thought the message hadn't been passed on to housekeeping, but when I came across 2 of the housekeeping staff and tried to tell them myself I realised they didn't understand a word of English, so it made more sense. The rest of the staff are what make this hotel excellent though! Sadly I didn't get his name, but a gentleman working at breakfast would always greet you with a smile, show you to your table, make sure you have everything you need; the omelettes at breakfast were the best I've had in a Hilton hotel (they use real eggs rather than the pasteurised ones in a carton). The executive lounge is diamond-only, and Ana Paula who worked there has been extremely attentive to make sure everyone had what they needed, and went out of her way to source drinks from downstairs a couple of times she ran out of a specific wine I liked - 5 star service. Finally Alessia at the front desk has been amazing, recognised me after the first week and offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite on my second week!
Great location and room size was fantastic. Friendly staff and my dog was welcome too.
Room was great
Breakfast was always cold food not kept topped up when you ordered scrambled eggs they took ages to do it when they remembered coffee machine was broken bar staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing.
The staff were amazing and the location was perfect.
Family room Spa gym car park and location location location!
The room was ok but I thought the decor strange and on 1 occasion 2 of us in the room and we got 1 hand towel ! The breakfast although plenty os staff with trays was very very slow , had to wait along time for omelette and at first nobody to ask as chef said had to ask waitress if you saw one . The first evening we had dinner had to wait for pre dinner drink and wine The Sunday we had dinner my husband asked for a medium to rare steak and he felt it was overcooked .
Thought the decor strange and the room appeared dark even with lights on
Did not have a breakfast
Great location lovely room but disappointed with service at the bar. Sometimes no bar staff serving and always had to wait when requiring a drink
Better bar service
The staff are very warm welcome and helpful for any request. The location is excellent and convenient.
The room we had was spacious and the bed was large. It had most amenities you need, but the bed itself was uncomfortable and creaked. Breakfast was good. I just don't think this hotel was worth £250 a night in June or any other time. I've been to spa hotels around the country and paid less than that but had a better experience. It just needed to have a better vibe and be a bit more comfortable. Staff need to cheer up a bit more as well!
During one of the hottest periods, the room temperature was perfect. The Air-con kept the room at a comfortable level. Whilst the balcony offered the option to step into the sun. The bed was comfortable, the toiletries were high quality and they gym / spa were good for a hotel of this size and cost. We did not book breakfast as we were not sure if we were going to need. But when we decided to have breakfast, this was not a problem.
My only criticism is that there is only one lift. I would have been happy to use the stairs to get to the second floor instead of waiting for a lift which was often quite full after it turned up because the one lift was the only option for the whole hotel guests. There was a set of stairs, but this was not accessible (during my stay anyway) as the key fob didn’t open it and it appeared to be reserved as a fire exit.

The hotel is just not up to Hilton standards. The room we were first allocated was dirty, with empty cigarette packs, cotton wool and dirty earbuds still in the room. We were given another room but it took them an hour to sort is out. Breakfast is really disappointing and is what we would expect from a Hampton. It’s a pity, we did pay over 300 pounds for the room and we left early and disappointed.
I do come here on business trips and I have been consistently doing that for the past few years. All I can say is the hotel is really nice. From the ambience to the quality of their food and service, it is something I always look forward to returning to. The only down side is that there is no free parking. However, paid parking is provided just right next door to the hotel. Staff: super courteous and professional and one gentleman that stands out a lot is Kian Cross. If you've met him once he is difficult to forget. At the breakfast buffet its like he is hosting friends to breakfast. Big smile, friendly banter and genuine concern for your comfort and always happy to go the extra mile to make you leave there with a smile. He has done this consistently for all the years I have been going there Amenities: Lovely indoor pool, sauna, steam room. A spa is also available. The facilities are very well kept and impressive.
Our family had a fantastic 3-night stay at the Hilton Bournemouth, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our family's needs. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was delighted that the team, especially Alessia and the front desk staff, upgraded us to a beautiful King Suite. The extra space made a huge difference and helped make our stay even more comfortable. The hotel amenities were excellent. The swimming pool was a big hit with the family, and I particularly enjoyed the sauna and steam room after a day of exploring Bournemouth. The parking was secure, convenient, and included, which made traveling with a rental car completely stress-free. The hotel's location is also outstanding, within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. Go to Charminster street and hit up the Turkish, middle eastern restaurants! Trust me! - Grilled meat heaven! Breakfast each morning was a highlight of our stay. The complimentary breakfast included with Diamond status was excellent, and the traditional English breakfast was consistently delicious. A special thank you to Chad, whose cooking was exceptional, and to Albert, whose warm hospitality and outstanding customer service made every morning a pleasure. The bar experience was equally memorable. Femi served some of the best cocktails I've had in a hotel and brought incredible positive energy every time we visited. There was also another gentleman working at the bar who was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he deserves recognition as well for his excellent service. What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. Thank you to Alessia, Chad, Albert, Femi, and the entire Hilton Bournemouth team for making our family vacation so memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bournemouth.
Good location and staff
Cleanliness of bathroom, mould in the corner of the ceiling. Bars were closed due to a wedding which they hadn't notified us of. Loud music into the early hours of the morning from the wedding.
We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Bournemouth. The hotel was extremely busy during our visit due to a major boxing event, but the service was fantastic! A special mention has to go to Kian Cross, who was front of house at breakfast. From day one, he took the time to ask about my diabetes and what foods would be suitable for me. He remembered this every morning and always made sure everything was organised. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Despite how busy the hotel was, Kian remained friendly, professional and genuinely attentive to guests. He always had a smile on his face, worked incredibly hard and was clearly well respected by his colleagues. It was also great to see how supportive and positive he was with other members of staff. Kian's customer service was outstanding. He made every guest feel welcome, remembered the little details and genuinely seemed to care about making people's experience the best it could be. People like Kian make a real difference to a stay and are the reason guests return. He is a real asset to the Hilton Bournemouth.
