Perfect for families, so much for the kids to do and so many different spots around the resort means you don’t get bored of doing the same thing every day

The resort is excellent for families with children, offering plenty of activities and amenities that keep kids entertained throughout the stay.

Regarding the food, the breakfast selection is extensive, but the overall quality is fairly average and the taste is just okay. The on‑site restaurants are quite expensive for what they offer. Luckily, there are a few dining options outside the resort where, although you still pay typical tourist prices, the food tastes better and the hygiene standards are maintained.

The best thing about the Grand Mirage is the people. The Balinese staff are wonderful: always smiling, eager to help as best they can, and many go out of their way to exceed your expectations. The food was great, with plenty of options to choose from. Our room was comfortable and clean, though not luxurious.

Communication before our stay was very poor. It got to the point where I almost didn't want to go, although things were much better once we arrived. Our biggest complaint is the Kids Club. It's advertised as offering all sorts of exciting activities, like a climbing wall and pools with waterslides, but these aren't supervised by staff. If you're hoping to leave your kids at the Kids Club so they can enjoy the pools and have real fun, that isn't an option. A parent has to stay with them to use those facilities, which defeats the purpose of having a Kids Club. This was a big disappointment, and we ended up using it far less than we'd planned.

Everything. We are a family of four with young children. We chose to stay on the Family Paradise side and loved it. We had other family on the main side, so each day we freely moved between sites depending on how we wanted to spend our day. We opted for All Inclusive, and did not ever regret it.

There is nothing to mention here. It was an amazing place to holiday.

The staff are wonderful. Everyone smiling and welcoming. Made our family feel special. Accommodated our needs really well. All the pools are fun for the kids. Lazy River is exceptional.

Nothing really. A few more dinner options for those not doing all-inclusive would be ideal.

Grand Mirage gebucht und im Familiy wurden wir untergebracht. Dieses Hotel war definitiv nicht gebucht laut Reiseunterlagen. Auf Anfrage beim Hotelmanager hieß es, dass alle Familien Suiten im Family Hotel sind, dies steht ganz klein gedruckt auf der Internetseite des Hotels. Gegen einen horrenden Aufpreis von Anfangs 200 Dollar pro Nacht würden sie uns umbuchen auf das Grand Mirage, zum Schluss sind wir bei 75 Dollar die Nacht gelandet-sind wir auf einem türkischen Basar??? Wir sind im Familiy geblieben und haben es jeden Tag bereut. Unsere Kinder sind 11 und 13, ansonsten hauptsächlich Kleinkinder untergebracht, Morgens ab 6.30 Uhr war die Nacht vorbei. Extrem lautes Gebrüll der Kinder sowie auch der Eltern. Das ganze Hotel eher alt und absolut nicht Schallisoliert-man hört alles! Leider ist dies kein Einzelfall wie wir erfahren haben, es ging wohl einigen Familien genauso-für mich eine reine Abzocke!!! Das original Grand Mirage sehr gern-das Family auf keine Fall empfehlenswert.

THE BUFFETT BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT, WE LOVE THE LAZY RIVER, TRIED THE NEW THERMAL POOL WHICH WAS LOVELY

Breakfast was great lots of variety, service was inconsistent first day staff everywhere next few days had to look for staff to order coffee/tea and many staff walked past with empty trays and didn’t collect emptied plates

We left the room at 7.30 am for breakfast and returned 5 hours later to rest but had to allow room serviced in and sit on balcony to have room cleaned one day we just swapped towels got water and emptied bin as the service was too late

The pool chairs are so uncomfortable. I can’t believe how much something so little bothered me. They were so uncomfortable.

Clean and easy to navigate

The food was bland and a small Range of Indonesian food. The kids club was filthy! The carers were too busy talking vs looking after kids. I wouldn’t send my child there or trust their baby sitting services.

We hadden vier kamers geboekt. Helaas waren er 2 in het andere gebouw. We hadden het fijn gevonden dat dit duidelijker aangegeven zou worden op booking.com

The property was lovely with clean spacious rooms.

Room had a significant smell of mould. Staff treated the issue and it did improve, although underlying odour remained.

The food options were many and varied and there was always something lovely to select. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a coffee machine. The resort had lots of pools to cater for all guests, it was particularly welcome to have a dedicated pool for adults only and good to see hotel staff ensuring just adults used this particular adult only pool.

There was nothing negative experienced.

Traffic on the main road was a pain for transport.

Would love the cocktail bar to open earlier on the weekends. Showers warmer a staffed bar at the adult pool and maybe a tv in the swim up bar with sport everything else perfect will be back again soon

Eine sehr schöne große ,saubere Anlage. Mit einem separaten Family Wohnblock und Pool .

Zu wenig liegen am Pool ,die natürlich wenn man gemütlich frühstücken geht um 9.00 Uhr schon alle reserviert sind.

Before booking, I asked the hotel through Booking.com if they had halal food. They replied in writing: “90% of our food is halal.” I relied on this when keeping my two-week booking. After arriving, I was told that only 1 of the 7 restaurants provides halal food. I also witnessed breakfast food being handled in a way that raised serious concerns for me about cross-contamination. The information I received before booking does not appear to match what I experienced at the resort. Muslim travellers: please ask very specific questions about halal certification, separate preparation and cross-contamination before booking. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel for Muslims who require reliable halal food.

We had an amazing stay, the staff were beyond amazing with Eni from the main bistro/restaurant area being an absolute star, goes beyond to make sure we were smiling and same with our 4 yr old daughter. I also used the resorts spa... wow it was so perfect so relaxing and being pregnant I had a pregnancy massage by Siti... she did an amazing job.

There were a few guests that treated the staff and resort terribly (like think absolute filth) while we were there and it upset me that maybe more could have been done from the higher up management... (not the daily management as they were not treated well by these guests either)

Staff were great, the room we originally booked wasn’t as pictured so they helped us change rooms and upgrade. Buffet breakfast was really nice in the family side

Didn’t like that the family and main area are so far apart, the family area was more for toddlers. The rooms were not as pictured, there was music playing early in the morning outside in the hallway, you could hear everything outside. Beds were ok. Kids menu wasn’t really kid friendly

How other travellers took up all the sun beds first thing in the morning and they weren’t even at the pool, and they were taken up all day.

Perfect atmosphere for families. Relaxed staff but attentive at the same time. Food was great. Breakfast was expansive. incredible amount of actives and amenities for adults and kids.

Both parents have to pay for the foam party, even if only one parent is going in the water with the children.

It has a lot to offer if you don’t want to leave the resort but not much for people not doing all inclusive.

We were told we didn’t have to book for dinner and then when turning up to dinner were told no seats available. When trying another restaurant, no one was there and we thought it was closed but when staff finally showed up the food we wanted wasn’t available for 1hour! It was a bit of a disappointment for us especially for the price.

Options for pool were great for kids.

My extended family had booked a seperate room and they were in a different section to the hotel - Main building versus the Family Paradise - so walking to each location wasn't convenient. The noise level inside and outside the hotel was loud. For the amount of money paid per room is more expensive then some of the more premium international hotels like Westin - where the standard of hotels and tranquility was higher. And beach was not as clean.

Perfect location. Nice and spacious rooms. Ample of facilities for a family holiday. Amazing staff and service. The all inclusive package is perfect for families with kids. Multiple pools and nice beachside walkway. Nice restaurants. Night time shows were such an entertainment.

Only one thing to improve and that was the drainage system in toilet had to be fixed as it caused a strange smell on some days.

We did the all inclusive option which was great for children. I loved that it was on the beach with little market stalls outside The children’s pools were great Staff were absolutely fantastic Beds were big and comfortable Bathrobes provided which feels a bit fancy☺️ Welcome drinks on arrival

Little bit more on the expensive side, but it was worth it having everything we needed in the one place as we had children with us

The food isn't great actually very bland the beds are awful. The hotel looks beautiful but that'd about it. For the price of it I was very disappointed.

The resort was beautiful and our room was all new. The gardens and facilities of the hotel were amazing! We spent everyday in the pool and the lazy river. Would recommend this resort to other families.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

We ordered room service (room 3310) on our first night. We ordered nasi goreng that has chicken satay. My 10YO kid ate 1 satay and I ate the second one half and realised it was pink and half cooked. We returned back to the kitchen. No one came back to inform us anything about it. My daughter got sick and we called in house Dr 3 times in total. We had to extend our stay because she was too ill to travel back.

The food and breakfast was average for the price. I think the chef needs a good shake up, we chose this over conrad and were disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Everything else was fine and we had no issues.

The room was amazing, the main pool amazing, staff amazing

Everything is quite spread out. Kids pool from the rest of the resort. The restaurants are too expensive, eat across the road rather.

Clean beachfront location, lazy river, room size, buffet breakfast with large variety of offerings, beachside restaurant, live music and entertainment.

One of our rooms was unavailable upon check in despite arriving several hours after the advertised check in time. Despite suggesting being newly renovated, felt a little dated considering booking.com advertised new premiere pool and ocean view rooms. We were there to celebrate a special birthday . A cake and room decoration was requested and confirmed by the resort, although never arrived. After following up with staff members on another two occasions, I had to ask again at breakfast where staff did sing arriving with pastries from the buffet ( not the cake requested). On several days during our stay, towels were unavailable for use by the pool. Finally, there was a terrible sewerage smell in one of our rooms that developed overnight and also, by the lazy river. Our children became ill with vomiting, nausea and stomach cramps. It again took more than half a day for us to be relocated to a new room that didn’t smell. Whilst trying to keep them separate from those that were well, we had to move them into the same room as everybody else- simply so they were not exposed to the wafting sewer. Having to pack up and relocate ill children was inconvenient. Each of these points were disappointing given the high cost to stay here. We would not normally ask, but felt we should have been offered some type of compensation. We asked at reception who begrudgingly then offered a three course meal- we had to be uncharacteristically somewhat pushy.

All inclusive вообще того не стоит: 1. Ресторанов много, но везде все одно и тоже (есть прайс на блюда, и он сильно завышен) 2. Чтобы пообедать не шведским столом - все бронируй, даже если столы стоят пустые 3. По территории постоянно ходят продавцы водного спорта за оверпрайс и их никто не выгоняет Сам отель тоже с фокусами: 1. В ваш номер могут зайти в любой момент, и не имеет значения - есть ли табличка не беспокоить или нет. Может вы переодеваетесь- для персонала разницы нет 2. Вай-фай более-менее работает на стойке ресепшена, дальше - связи нет никакой 3. Служба стирки забирает вещи в любое время, но чтобы вернуть - ходи на ресепшен 4. Лежаки перед бассейном никогда не свободны. Во сколько бы вы не пришли - лежаков не будет. 5. Бассейны, а точнее их разнообразие - по сути сводится к главному бассейну и детскому, все остальные - не стоят внимания вообще 6. Вечерние шоу - сплошное разочарование, 15 минут тяп-ляп шоу и остатков еды с обеда Вообщем, было здорово - потому что Бали и отпуск, но в остальном - вообще не стоит своих средств

It is located at the end of Nusa Dua. If you are planning on staying in the hotel this is for you. If you want to explore Bali, expect to always need transport
