Really good resort, me and my husband enjoyed our stay at Novotel Benoa, breakfast was good and location was good. Neat and clean and staff were very accommodating. The chefs catered my gluten free and vegetarian requests. We loved our stay, beautiful resort with sea views . We will recommend this to our family and friends, will be back 😍

Only thing is the property is getting old and needs maintenance. Clean rooms but it is clearly visible they need maintenance and especially bathrooms.

With a baby, being allocated a room on the second floor with no lift was really annoying. We had to carry the buggy and baby up the stairs.

There were not enough sunbeds near the pool with umbrellas for children. Lots of beds near the adult only pool but hardly anyone at it, which was frustrating. The beach wasn't very nice and there was rubbish on it. There also wasn't a great deal of restaurants nearby.

An amazing overall resort experience, loved the breakfast area as it was just sea facing with great variety of food! Lots of greenery and infinity sea facing swimming pool!

Der Strand ist bei Ebbe nicht zum Baden geeignet. Der Pool ist dafür sehr gut. Man kann sehr gut über einen Weg der am Nabarhotel startet, am Strand in Richtung Nusa Dua laufen.

The room they gave us was probably the worst one…water leak in the toilet and plenty of flying insects in the kids room, including in the beds. They had to move us the second night. It was terrible!

I booked a pool view room, it was not the new renovated pool! The hotel rooms were located across a busy street! Had to cross the road to reception, breakfast and restaurant and also the main pool! A crossing supervisor was present blowing a noisy whistle all day and night! I stayed one night as it was too late in the day to find an alternative and paid the 1 night cancellation fee! I observed the staff having to deal with this complaint from other guests whilst trying to find an suitable alternative accommodation

I have been coming to Novotel Bali Benoa for many years. I first stayed here as a teenager, and today, at 40, I came back with my own child, so this hotel holds many wonderful memories and a very special place in my heart. The strongest asset of the hotel remains its staff. Some team members have been there for more than 10 years and are still as kind and welcoming as I remember them. The Front Office, pool and restaurant teams were all extremely pleasant and attentive. The hotel also has a fantastic location and still retains a lot of charm.

Unfortunately, the hotel has not aged well and is clearly in need of more attention and investment. Even in renovated rooms, the overall standard and attention to detail are not quite there. We noticed a smell of humidity, stained towels and several small issues that should not really happen at this level. The food was also disappointing overall. The BBQ dinner was particularly expensive for the quality offered, while breakfast and the restaurant were acceptable but nothing memorable. There are many lovely trainees and staff members, but some clearly need more training and guidance. More than anything, I feel the property is lacking strong management direction, consistent standards and attention to detail. The staff have the right attitude, but they need the tools, training and leadership to bring the hotel back to the standard it deserves.

Food wasn' the best in the restaurant, very expensive for what you got. We were ignored multiple times during our stay when waiting at bar area, when we finally got to order the meals took a very long time and lacked flavour.

The staff at Novotel’s Bali benoa were amazing they really went above and beyond what we could have expected from our stay especially at coco’s restaurant Widi and Yeni made us feel so comfortable with our 1 year old even though she was cranky and full on some days! Thanks so much to all the staff we will miss you all from Australia ❤️

A lovely encounter with one of the staff Aditya Dama who brought us Balinese coffee with our breakfast. So very kind.

It was good hotel, not oversized, great views from the main pool, and the family room was great for our family, really good space for the four of us.

Tennis court was a bit of a waste land, maybe making this an area for multiple sports would be off benefit.

Wonderful experience at the beautiful spa. Had a heavenly massage with Suci. She was amazing. Highly recommend her. Rooms were very large & super clean & still have a Balinese style. They’re divine. Food fantastic. Cocktails delicious. 10/10 all round.

We managed to grab a day pass for Novotel while waiting for our flights home and were wonderfully cared for by Puspa and Narni. Everyone in the spa team (and hotel) was warm and friendly. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time with them.

We booked a tour to Moon Cot Sari Turtle Farm because it was recommended and sold to us by Novotel Bali Benoa. Hotel staff described it as a certified animal conservation and educational facility. Based on what we witnessed, it was neither. The turtle enclosures were deeply concerning. Large green sea turtles were confined to a small concrete basin with virtually no environmental enrichment. Staff claimed the turtles were only being kept temporarily before being released into the ocean, yet they were entirely dependent on hand-feeding, which undermines their natural feeding behaviour if they are indeed intended for release. Visitors were encouraged to “release” hatchlings into the sea. Beforehand, these hatchlings were kept in a tiny tiled container where many appeared lethargic, floating motionlessly or desperately trying to climb out. The release itself took place in a bay crowded with jet skis and tourist boats, raising serious questions about the welfare and survival of these animals. The welfare concerns extended far beyond the turtles. Exotic birds were confined to tiny cages with chains around their ankles, and one cockatoo was roughly tapped by the owner to make it pose for photographs. Bats, also kept in cramped cages, were struck with a stick to wake them up for visitors, despite being nocturnal animals that should be resting during the day. At the end of the tour, a python was kept inside a blue plastic cooler and taken out so tourists could pose with it around their necks. This is not what we expect from a hotel like Novotel Bali Benoa. By recommending and selling this experience as a certified conservation and educational site, the hotel lends credibility to practices that, in our opinion, do not reflect genuine wildlife conservation or responsible animal welfare. We hope Novotel Bali Benoa reviews the partners it chooses to promote. Until then, we cannot recommend relying on the hotel’s excursion recommendations. If you care about animal welfare, please spend your money elsewhere.

We visited for a couple massage and were lucky to have Puspa and Wartini to massage us. Such lovely kind ladies, made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Definitely would recommend. Thank you ladies 🙏

Third time we have visited this hotel. Its an old one, but recently had renovations. Unusual in that the hotel is split in two by the main road (with a dedicated security Guard manning the crossing between, stopping traffic for guests). This is where we go to relax and wind down. Still enough restaurants and shops nearby to feed any habits, but away from hustle and bustle. The staff make this place returnable. Nothing is too much trouble. Very good value for money and very clean.

Puspa and weri very good massage and very nice.

Terrific place for a relaxing and fun family holiday. All enjoyed the pools, water activities and services. We highly recommend Sumiatra and his team who provided great food and super service at the Coco restaurant by the beach. Happy Hour - Very Happy!! Rooms were very comfortable, very clean. All staff throughout the resort very friendly and helpful. We and our friends will be coming back.

Nous avions eu une chambre très humide avec une odeur désagréable. De l'humidité et de la moisissure étaient visible sur le mur. On voit que l'hôtel a déjà quelques années. La douche mériterait une petite mise au point. Pour un 5 étoiles un peu déçue sur ce point. Des massages sont à disposition mais beaucoup trop cher.

Loved this place. Great pool by the beach but a central pool set out of the wind. Really lovely. Rooms were great. Staff excellent. Massages in their spa were excellent. I wouldn’t take up their packages on food or drinks as the menu choices are too restrictive. The full Menu and drinks list are great and not too expensive. Service was prompt.

My stay for the second time, at the Novotel Bali Benoa was nothing short of exceptional. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine care for guests are truly remarkable. She is an absolute credit to the hotel and exemplifies the highest standard of hospitality. My Tropical Garden Terrace Suite was magnificent. The room was immaculately clean, beautifully appointed, and offered a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility. The luxurious free-standing bath, incredibly comfortable bedding, and attention to detail throughout the suite made it a pleasure to return to each day. The resort itself is simply stunning. The pool areas are beautifully maintained, inviting, and perfect for relaxation. Everywhere you look, there is a sense of elegance and opulence, yet the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming. Novotel Bali Benoa has created something truly special—a resort that combines beautiful surroundings with outstanding service delivered by genuinely caring people. The location was good but the beach not very nice. Nice staff. I had to wait one hour before I could enter my room.

1 - Завтраки хорошие. Большой выбор, чистая, приятная кухня и столовая зона с красивым видом. 2 - Номера чистые и новые, территория ухоженная.

1 - Жирный минус за расположение. Район просто гетто какое-то. Отель находится в отдалении от туристической инфраструктуры. Далеко добираться до главных достопримечательностей, а главное, что в районе пешей доступности не такой уж большой выбор мест, где можно развлечься и вкусно поесть. Но, если вы хотите сэкономить на отеле, но посещать пляжи Нуса-дуа, то на такси за 60-70 тыс. рупий в одну сторону за 15 минут до них можно добраться, так же в том районе находится крупный торговый центр Bali Collection. 2 - Шумная трасса разделяет территорию отеля на ту, что ближе к морю и ту, которая находится через дорогу. Наш номер находился вблизи этой самой дороги. Ночные гонщики со сломанными выхлопами первую ночь просто не давали заснуть. А еще этот номер располагался в самом начале пути к остальному номерному фонду и когда люди проходили мимо нашего номера по коридору, эхо было ужасное. Это тоже, конечно, не давало чувства тишины и спокойствия.

Quality of food was very poor and the choices also very limited. Also the water refill facility in the corridor was hardly functioning most of the time

Spotlessly clean. Lovely rooms great size. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but worked fantastically. Loved our poolside room. Lovely breakfast. Very peaceful quiet location.

Fabulous all around, never stayed anywhere like it as my children where younger, only stayed one night and within a couple of hours wanted to book more. Beautiful setting around the complex. Services were fast and easy to organise. Staff everywhere went above and beyond. A great stay for families especially with children over 4 meaning you can use the kids club. Will be booking for several days next time.

This hotel had great facilities. The pools, lobby, dining area, bars, gym were all great. We loved the pool by the beach as it had a great resort vibe and we were able to relax but still watch our kids in the pool. It was also great to have access to the beach but we could only swim there at low tide due to rocks. The breakfast buffet had an excellent range of tasty foods. The king size bed in our room was very clean and comfortable. There was a good array of restaurants and massage shops along the street nearby, however the street was very noisy and busy.

Our family room on the ground floor was damp and musty and had a bad smell to it. The kids room wasn't very clean and the mattresses on the beds were only good for smaller kids as they were not full length mattresses. The breakfast buffet had labels on all foods to highlight allergens but no one had bothered to tick boxes on these labels so I had to constantly ask the staff what was gluten free due to my son being a Coeliac. Although it was nice to be near the beach, there was always noise from the water sport activities.

Breakfast, room, and overall style/comfort of the resort is luxurious and very enjoyable. The beach is a little small and the water is slightly cloudy. But the latter is more an issue of Nusa Dua at this time of the year, not the hotel's fault.

Mosquitos at the evenings, but the hotel tried to help with insect repellents.

The location is more secluded if you want to get away from the Bali busy-ness. I also liked our room on the other side of the beach.

We had a very good stay. The breakfast was tasty. The pools were clean and nice. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was of very good quality.

The hotel was very clean. I liked the service of the hotel staff, which is very good and friendly. The staff was happy to assist in every way possible. The location of the hotel is very good.Breakfast was good, and there were a lot of options, though after 3 days it got repetative. Overall, it is a very good place to stay in Nusa Dua with kids. My kids loved it ❤️

The spa was very expensive for the services. I would say " not worth it", though the spa staff are very good and friendly.

Insgesamt schönes Urlaubsresort, schön eingerichtet, geräumige und saubere Beach Cabana! Großer einladender Pool mit vielen Liegemöglichkeiten in der Sonne. Toller Spa mit sehr guten Treatments. Freundliche Resort-Mitarbeiter.

Im Grunde unbrauchbarer Strandabschnitt, um echtes Strandfeeling zu erfahren muss man andere Orte besuchen (Nusa Dua, Jimbaran) Außerhalb des Hotels gibt es zwar das nötigste in Form von Minimärkten und einzelnen Restaurants oder Warungs ansonsten bietet die Umgebung aber nicht viel Ausgehmöglichkeiten, auch hierfür muss man die Ortschaft wechseln. 2 Punkte zur Beachcabana: WLAN instabil, Klima etwas muffig.

Beautiful place, really recommend the massage at the InBalance Spa. We had Eka and Masta and did the traditional Balinese massage which was so skillfully done, felt so relaxing.

Me and my best friend took the romeo juliet massage with Puspa and Weri . They were so helpful, incredibly kind people. The atmosphere was magical. We feel like newborn babies.
