La location è fantastica, il personale alla hall sempre disponibile e pronto per ogni esigenza. Grazie perché la bella esperienza vissuta in parte è anche merito loro.

Per quanto riguarda la piscina, il problema non dipende dall’albergo, bensì da noi frequentatori, che purtroppo spesso non rispettiamo le direttive e le regole stabilite. L’albergo ha provveduto a installare appositi cartelli con le indicazioni sul comportamento da tenere nell’area della piscina: ad esempio, è vietato tuffarsi, non è consentito occupare le sdraio per poi allontanarsi e lasciarle inutilizzate oppure occupare più lettini contemporaneamente dalle stesse persone per poi non utilizzarli, così come non è permesso portare cibo dall’esterno e consumarlo nell’area della piscina. Se tutti rispettassimo semplicemente queste regole, l’area della piscina sarebbe sicuramente più piacevole e vivibile per tutti. Come già premesso l'albergo non c'entra nulla.

O hotel é extremamente bem localizado, beira-mar e perto do centro. Você consegue fazer absolutamente tudo a pé.

Na chegada ao hotel o recepcionista tentou nos convencer a cancelar a reserva pelo booking e fechar diretamente com o hotel, mesmo eu falando que haveria uma multa do booking o mesmo disse que sabia como burlar esse sistema. Após recusarmos a oferta o mesmo nos tratou o resto da estadia de forma rude. Há shows ao vivo com barulho ensurdecedor nos quartos, sem qualquer isolamento acústico até 23:30h, se você quer descansar e dormir cedo melhor procurar outro lugar. Apesar de ser um hotel de praia não oferecem condicionar e hidratante nos quartos. A comida e o atendimento do restaurante do hotel é bem ruin.

El acabado de las habitaciones. Estaban bien, camas cómodas, buen mobiliario, pero el acabado de las paredes le da sensación de épocas pasadas.

La piscine géniale, le petit déjeuner, l' emplacement, le parking, personnel sympathique, professionnel et agréable. Bon point d' étendoir à linge du balcon, chambre propre et eau offerte gratuitement. Mise a disposition des serviettes pour la piscine.

La télé, pas de chaîne française. Petit conseil manque d' horloge à la piscine pour les personnes ayant des contraintes d horaires ( prise de médicaments)

Location, location, location. The location was great out of the main hustle and bustle of Tossa de Mar but still a very short walk to the old town and castle. It was also on a small beach which you could walk to from the pool area although this beach was really busy in early August when we visited. The pool area was also great, never an issue with getting loungers and parasols. Breakfast views were lovely, breakfast itself was also quite nice.

The ‘premium’ double rooms are very dated, they don’t really feel premium to be honest - I would say the rooms were overpriced for what you got but it was early August. The staff weren’t overly friendly or helpful, particularly the staff serving breakfast, they were a bit grumpy to be honest. Jessica on reception was lovely though. We noticed that although breakfast is supposed to run until 11am that items were not replenished from about 10.30, also the chef at the egg station also seemed to finish at 10.30 - you would expect to be able to come between 10.30-11.00 and have all options available. The food is the restaurant for lunch is not good and very overpriced.

The hotel is very well sited right next to the beach, it’s probably got the best spot of any in Tossa de Mar. It’s quite small so never felt busy (even though it was the first week of UK children’s holidays). The pool looks smallish in the brochure, but it was never busy and there were also plenty of sun loungers - my grandson’s swimming improved in leaps and bounds. The outdoor areas were spacious. Food was generally good, although we ate out for dinner most nights. Our room overlooked the diving school and the hills. Like some other reviewers the extra for a sea view would have been a waste. All the staff were excellent: very friendly and helpful. Downsides: the room was a bit small and tired. Our room was next to the lift which was noisy (avoid if possible) and smoking was a nuisance at times in the cafe area. We also had trouble with some other guests playing loud music and coming in noisily early in the morning - however the reception staff dealt with this very rapidly. Overall very good.

The only negatives about the Golden Mar Menuda is our room needed a bit of TLC. e.g. wardrobe door didnt close, sealant around shower and skirting needs replaced/ cleaned. But these are minor things that wouldnt take much doing. Rooms were clean and very well maintained. The huge positives are the hotels location and common areas. We had a rear view room with small balcony but rarely sat there because we enjoyed using the hotel bar and pool which overlooked the sea. Paying an extra £400 per person for a sea view ? I'm not so sure its worth it. For a relatively small hotel the pool, bar and breakfast area were huge. So as a result, it never seemed busy or frantic. No poolside sunbed anxiety ! Not an adults only hotel, but there weren't any kids there for our week. It was never too busy at breakfast whatever time you went down, loads of space, great food choices. Perfect. Walking in to Tossa town was a joy everyday, along the beachfront, then back again. We popped into Tortuga a few times for a jug of sangria and a spectacular view. Recommendation for food : Marina restaurant, Carrer Tarull. In a quaint back street close to the church. For drinks - Bar Solarium. Great cocktails and ice cold San Mig. Overall Golden Mar Menuda is a fabulous hotel. Perfect for slightly older couples after a relaxing break but still wanting to enjoy lovely and lively Tossa de Mar. Will we be back ? Maybe later this year !

This is a great place to stay in this lovely town. The best location with great views of the beach. The whole hotel is kept spotless and well maintained. Great pool area. Wonderful and attentive staff.Good breakfast. Great attention to detail including welcome drinks in the fridge, water and coffee machine replenished every day, clean sheets and towels, water machine in the lobby, pool towels. They just know how to get things right!

Second time we have stayed at the Golden Mar Menuda and it won't be our last it's a fantastic little Gem of a Hotel all the staff are very polite and cheerful nothing is ever a problem the food is good the rooms are small but comfortable and the location is perfect.

Room a good size but no balcony nor view, on ground floor facing the car park. Sampled breakfast once which was of a good standard but lunch options quite limited and we had a problem with the bill. Also taxi driver booked by the hotel for the airport got lost and not sure he was a licensed taxi driver.

My husband and I considered Tossa de Mar based on a good friends recommendation, wow, what a stunning location. Our stay at the Golden Mar Menuda was outstanding, the whole team are so inviting and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, we were half board, with buffet breakfast and three course evening meal. There were barely any children at the hotel (6th to 13th June) and the small pool always had plenty of free sunbeds with large free towels provided by the hotel. Our sea view room was amazing with a huge balcony and breathtaking views of the coastline. We cannot recommend this hotel and lovely Catalonian town enough, with its medieval castle and many varied shops and restaurants. If you are looking to avoid too many stag and hen do’s and just want to chill in the sunshine, book the Golden Mar Menuda and enjoy!

Our room opened to the sea, gorgeous view. The breakfast buffet was excellent with good coffee and made to order omlet station, good croissants and all the other breakfast foods. The pool area was pleasant with umbrellas and chaise loungers. The best part though is the location at the north end of Tossa de Mar beach, tucked into the cliff. Almost like a private beach, you only get to it if you want to and it is right outside of the hotel. And the staff were great- helpful, professional and friendly

Another terrific holiday at The Golden Mar Menuda. -Some changes since last year and in our opinion not all for the better but none of them are enough to detract from the overall excellence of the hotel. We very much enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of our sea view room with terrace and sunbeds. Staff we encountered all doing a great job especially Reception and Housekeeping. Hope to be back in 2027.

In my view this is the only hotel to stay in Tossa. My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't rate it enough. it is extremely clean and staff were so courteous and polite special mention to Jessica in reception so helpful and always smiling! and all the young girls in the bar and restaurant. breakfast was amazing lots of great choices and sitting out looking at most gorgeous view. A stunning hotel so peaceful and relaxing will definitely be back.

First impression was great, welcomed by friendly and helpful receptionist. Excellent location if you want a bit of distance from the busier heart of Tossa, but want to be near a beach (frequented by the local diving school). Our room (at the rear) wasn't huge, but plenty big enough for the two of us. It overlooked a diving school which was quiet pretty much all week (but this was mid-May so might change high season). Bathroom was fully equipped. Everything seemed spotless, and cleaning was meticulously completed daily by a lovely lady (I think her name was Loli). A walk of about ten minutes will get you to the central hub of restaurants etc, although you pass several decent eateries on the way. The breakfast was generally excellent with the usual choice of cooked meats, cheese etc, with omelette, eggs and bacon available on request. Staff were really efficient. Plenty of sun beds near the pool (but again, it was mid-May so this might not always be the case). The bar is a perfect spot to end the evening, with reasonably priced cocktails etc, and a view of the castle. I'd be surprised if we didn't return in the next few years. Thanks for a great holiday.

Hotel muy familiar y tranquilo,con acceso directo a la playa y a unos 10 minutos caminando al centro del pueblo.

Como sugerencia pondría un poco más de iluminación en la habitación y bufet libre también a la cena en vez de menú a la carta ,aunque ninguna queja al respecto ya que los menús que ofrecen son todos espectaculares.

Réactivité du personnel pour problème de cafetière, gentillesse. Calme , propre , parking ( payant mais présent) . Chambre confortable. Nous n’avons pas testé le restaurant , juste pour pouvoir profiter des belles rues de Tossa de mar . Un très bon séjour .

Excellent small friendly hotel in brilliant location! Spent 9 nights and can honestly say every single member of staff was kind and helpful! All seemed happy and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean and shower always hot. Lots of comfortable chairs and sofas and always winners available - no obvious saving with towels nonsense! Good was perfectly adequate at breakfast and the couple of evening meals we had were lovely and good value. The bar was well stocked and overall, a great holiday atmosphere, quiet which is what we like!

Location was stunning, right on the beach front. Plus, had a very nice pool. Very nice bar too. Didn’t try the restaurant food, but it looked lovely!

We got the most basic room. It was lovely and did the job, especially for the price. Had a balcony, had a massive tv. Had enough room. Maybe bathroom was a little small. Still lovely tho. Bed was not the comfiest though.

Un conseil : ne prenez pas la demi-pension car il y a plein de restaurants tout proches.

its the perfect location can not be better, the room was large bright and spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed we have slept in, the room has coffee making facilities a fridge with drinks provided , the breakfast at the hotel is by far outstanding catering for all tastes , all staff throughout the hotel from reception to breakfast and cleaners were exceptional, highly recommended will definitely return.

i dont think that the hotel can improve on anything from location amenities , staff, all are flawless and i cant see how the hotel can improve. there is nothing to dislike about the hotel.

Cet établissement se prête très bien pour des personnes à mobilité réduite. Ascenseurs à souhait, mais aussi une continuité entre les espaces intérieurs, équipements et salles de restaurant de l’hôtel et prolongation vers les espaces publics y compris l’accès à la plage.

La situation et la proximité à la mer sans même évoquer le paysage marin immédiat ( roches monolithiques de la baie de Tossa) : une merveille du monde ! La qualité de service et la disponibilité du personnel administratif. Plurilingues. Serviable.

The location is brilliant, located literately on the beach. The pool is nice, with different type of sunbeds, the bar is also very nice. Staff are nice and friendly. The whole place is very clean. Bathroom is good size and has 2 sinks in it. The wardrobe is also double size, good for storage. There are rack on the wall on the balcony to dry clothes.

This hotel was a superb choice for our family get away. It has a fantastic location by the sea in a quiet corner of Tossa de Mar and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean with good sized rooms and a very good breakfast and restaurant service. Tossa de Mar is a picturesque town with a medieval historic area that has stunning views of the coast. It also has a good selection of shops.
