I love it here...rooms are lovely and clean, staff so helpful..didn't want to leave, hope to return soon xx
Absolutely horrendous right from the start. Pretty obvious that they do not like the British. Our room was disgraceful.. dirty and stained bed linen.. sockets which kept tripping.. curtains falling off the rails.. rotting mould in the bathroom.. fridge that didn't work.. Ac unit not adequate.. floor and rugs were embedded with filth.. the hotel staff uninterested in solving or dealing with issues which were reported.. food was awful and restaurant staff were rude.. The reception staff took our water away from us and told us that we were not allowed to take it to our room. Spa facilities not available due to renovation which forced us to use facilities outside of our hotel.. this hotel is not of a luxury 5 star rating as stated on website and needs to be shut down. Stay way from this place !
Advertised as a 5 star hotel…pffffffff! Nowhere near an international 5 star hotel. Pros: Nice gardens and pool Cons: Dirty bloody bedding Musty pillows Old decor rooms Mouldy bathroom Old and tatty room furniture Room aircon one setting Food is bland Restaurant food not replenished Lack of food variety Unhygienic in restaurant Musty smoke smell in bar Rude staff with serious attitude Hate English visitors and loves French only Spa and gym is ill equipped Not allowed to bring in water from outside but don’t provide in rooms. Expected to buy water from bar. No food for special dietary requirements Restaurant tables dirty linen and no cutlery laid Plus more… This hotel is embarrassing and disappointing to say the least. It should be stripped of its 5 star status and desperately needs renovation and inspection.
The outdoor areas of The Russelior Hotel & Spa are genuinely stunning — easily 5-star quality. The gardens are lush, the pool area is spotless, and the whole setting feels calm and luxurious. It’s a shame the same standard doesn’t carry through to the rest of the hotel. Inside, the experience was more 3-star at best. Rooms and facilities feel dated, and the overall service just didn’t live up to the hotel’s image. What made it worse was the attitude of most of the staff — they often seemed uninterested or unwelcoming, which really takes away from the experience, especially for foreign guests who’ve come a long way and are paying good money. There were two exceptions worth mentioning: Sophenne and Mustapha were absolutely brilliant. They went above and beyond to help and made us feel genuinely welcome — they’re a real credit to the hotel. A simple tip for management: teach the staff to smile and treat all guests with respect, because that’s how you keep people coming back. The location and outdoor beauty are incredible, but the service needs a serious refresh.
I was left waiting for over 5 hours while they claimed my booking didn’t exist, then said it was cancelled, even though I had my confirmation in hand. The way I was treated felt racist, humiliating, and dismissive. A woman who said she was the reservations manager told me, after 5 long hours, to leave because the hotel was “full.” I was travelling alone, it was my first time in Tunisia, and as it got late, I felt panicked, helpless, and deeply distressed. What was meant to be a relaxing break turned into emotional torture. After 5 hours of humiliation finally they decided to give me a room, although my holiday provider offered me to choose another hotel. Be aware of the poor hygiene both food and rooms, bedsheets and towels are dirty old and ripped. Restaurant hygiene is very poor, you'll dine with flies, i also had diarrhea on the second and third day of staying that hotel. Don't be fooled by the 5 star there's no even 2 star service in that beautiful building. N:B if you decide to book this hotel, tip the housekeeping staff for air-condition on, also if you're woman and need light for your makeup then bring your own light as hotel lighting is very dim.
The hotel was rated as 5 stars but unfortunately compared with 5 stars in Turkey and Thailand its a max of 4. The staff were friendly enough but not overly helpful , maybe because it was the end of season. Unfortunately small things weren't quite right like lamp and safe in room never fixed despite reporting on 1st day, also broken tiles at pool and all in need of general repair. The restaurant was an ok buffet but again food was nothing special unfortunately. Little extras like tea/coffee making facilities, free water and an extractor in the bathroom would have made a big difference.
The hotel was the highlight of holiday! We found the holiday in tense by the locals harassing us to go in their shop or their restaurant. Some where they tried to over charge us. We found peace in our holiday at the hotel. The hotel is just beautiful! The ground and pool beautiful! Room lovely!! Staff so friendly. We were a bit nervous, being British and hearing so horror stories being in Tunisia. However we did not experience that at the hotel. Staff so friendly and helpful. Great service. We did pay for lunch and dinner, it was a bit over priced with limited food. However better than being harassed in the street. If I know anyone planning to visit Tunisia , I would recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff for giving us such a relaxed stay at the resort.
Please do not go to this hell hole of a hotel all the negative reviews are sadly spot on il tell you why when we arrived they tried palm us off in a dirty ants and cockroaches infested room ? Nothing like what we booked truly awful but we had to endure one night until they changed over the next day but myself writing this from my hospital bed as I had contracted LEGIONAIRES DISEASE IN THIS FILTHY FILTHY HOTEL AND VERY VERY POORLY OVER THERE FROM DAY TWO OF A WEEKS HOLIDAY SO TOTALLY RUINED BY THIER DIRTY POOL WATER AND POISONOUS AIR CON , food wise you’d rather eat your own nails than any of that crap they put out for guests it’s horrible all round and we have extensive legal case building to shut this place down ! So BRITS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED NEVER GO TUNISIA OR HAMMAMET AS THE WHOLE PLACE STINKS LIKE A SEWAGE PLANT UNDER YOUR NOSE SMELLS OF FECIES AND URINE ALL OVER AND THD PEOPLE ON THE SHOPS ARE JUST TRYING YO STEAL YOUR MONEY !!!!
This hotel was a disappointment from the moment we arrived. My friends and I were counting down the days until we could leave after an unpleasant seven night stay. British guests are treated with little respect, and the customer service is appalling — rude, dismissive, and nowhere near 5-star standards. The attitude of certain staff members was disgraceful and made us feel unwelcome throughout our stay. As single female travellers, we also felt uncomfortable and at times intimidated by the behaviour of some male staff, who reacted badly when we asserted boundaries. This conduct is completely unacceptable in any professional environment. The hotel is dated and not maintained with the 5 star standards and very misleading on sites as a 5 star establishment. It’s more a 3 star. Overall, this was a distressing and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise other travellers — particularly British tourists and single women — to avoid this hotel altogether.
The Russelior Hotel and Spa is such a beautiful and well looked after hotel. The hotel gardens look beautiful and so is the pool and the food. The staff here are also really friendly and helpful. Thank you for a brilliant stay and thank you Marwa for going above and beyond to makesure I had the best experience. I will be coming back one of my favourite holidays. Beautiful hotel and beautiful service..
Awful experience rude staff obviously hate the English !! Never felt such outcasts why I don’t know !? First room was terrible had balcony looking a brick wall and dirty ! Food not great same every day. When leaving staff accused us of stealing towels so humiliating in front of people made us open our suitcases even though we had explained we haven’t taken towels ( why would we ? ) but they told my partner to go back Upto the room and get them and they didn’t believe us. SO rude. When my partner cane back with the towels no apology at all and we had left tip in room ! Wish we hadn’t service is shocking. When waiting for bus to airport all other nationalities were brought a drink not us ! And they made me and my partner carry our suitcases to the coach while others got carried for them !!! Just unbelievable behaviour shocking. Just don’t bother going
2 Pools, sehr schön angelegt mit Wasserfall. Draussen konnte man frühstücken am pool. Sehr gutes essen
Was impressed with this resort. Food and staff were excellent. Asked to change rooms as the balcony overlooked a road, they didn’t seem too happy about doing this, (hotel was nowhere near capacity) but they did it and we were happy with the room. Hotel is immaculately clean and staff were very friendly. The only thing that soured it was when checking out we were accused to taking towels. I emptied my case and was about to empty my partners when they said to go and check the room. Came back with all the towels, this seemed to placate them. Until they asked us to check our cases. Not the best end to a holiday being accused of stealing towels. Despite protests from staff; emptied both cases in front of staff. No towels. I suspect given the hospitality shown to the French and other guests, this was done because we were Brits.
My husband & I stayed at the hotel from 02 Sept - 13 Sept 2025. For the money we paid, we were more than happy with the hotel, especially given some of the reviews I had read. Lovely reception area & we found all the Reception staff polite & friendly. Grounds & pool kept clean & tidy. Hotel room was spacious, beds comfy. We did have some issues with our key card not working on a few occasions but this was quickly sorted. Apart from breakfast, we didn’t eat in the hotel as we like to walk to find nice restaurants but the food did look good! All in all, we had a very pleasant experience, topped with 30+ degree weather, what’s not to like!
We had a lovely stay at The Russelior spa and hotel. The facilities are excellent - swimming pools, gym and bar and brilliant. Alongside this the poolside service and general friendliness of staff is excellent. The breakfast is decent however nothing special and the restaurant does lack flavoursome options. That being said the food from the bar you get served pool side is YUMMY - especially the mixed grill!! If you are after a clean, organised and secure hotel look no further. Special thanks to Baha he went above and beyond during our stay.
My stay at this five-star hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated outstanding hospitality, always courteous and attentive to every detail. The room was immaculate, spacious, and elegantly furnished, offering both comfort and convenience. The breakfast selection was extensive and of the highest quality. Ideally located yet quiet, the property provided a perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel to discerning travellers.
The Russelior Hotel and Spa is a beautiful hotel. The pool is amazing and the food (especially evening meal) is delicious
I travelled here with my husband, my 15 year old daughter and a family friend. Really looking forward to a relaxing holiday after a difficult year. This hotel is ok until you have any issues that need resolving because the staff on reception and a few others are uninterested, argumentative, dismissive and quite unpleasant with the exception of Baha (reception) and Hamid (restaurant team) who are lovely, genuine and an asset to this hotel . The maids, lifeguards, pool staff and maintenance guys were usually friendly. We travel a lot and always treat staff with courtesy, respect and friendliness wherever we are in the world but it certainly was not reciprocated here. I've never felt so uncomfortable, unhappy and unwelcome in a hotel, especially an allegedly 5* one. This is definitely not 5*. After a few days, I just wanted to leave but we unfortunately had two weeks here. First impressions on arrival, beautiful entrance and lobby. We were greeted by Baha on reception who is one of the only decent, friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. He checked us in with no issues. Our rooms were of a good size and standard with nice decor. The balcony door was difficult for us to open and a constant nuisance when trying to lock and unlock it. The toilet seat was hanging off so receptionist maintenance up to fix it almost straight away. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pools (indoor and outdoor) are lovely and clean. This Is let down by filthy cushions on the loungers covered in stains and bird poo as they are left out overnight. On sight, this hotel is lovely but I am afraid the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and its a shame because it could be a really lovely hotel. On arrival, you have to pay the tourist tax, no issue with that as I've encountered this in many countries. However, there was a problem and when my husband checked his bank account, this money had been taken twice. We were assured a manager could sort this and refund the money the next day. However, we kept being fobbed off (at least 5 times), which when you're trying to relax and forget about everything, is a huge annoyance to keep having to go back and try and resolve it. Staff on reception couldn't be less interested and I even heard a female receptionist mutter 'I'm tired of this' My husband has a heart condition and had a funny turn with the stress of it with his blood pressure dropping, staff didn't really seem to care. It wasn't until we'd made a real fuss, a few days later, we were able to see the manager (the rude male receptionist just stood there saying 'Yes, I will get the manager' and smirking at us). The manager refused to accept they needed to refund this and we must take it up with our bank. He just kept waving around some scrappy bits of torn receipt claiming that lack of receipt meant they had not received it twice....even though we showed my husband's online bank statement. It was only when my husband phoned his bank from the managers office that there was any sort of recognition that there was a problem (he still did not apologise or acknowledge that it could possibly be the hotel's fault). The money was then mysteriously refunded after this difficult, uncomfortable meeting. Funny that! Don't use the ATM in the lobby. I went to get cash out on one of the first days and it swallowed my card (no fault of my own). Although this is obviously an issue for STB bank (the ATM provider) to sort, the staff were not interested in helping us get the card back and this was another issue we kept having to ask about. I cancelled my card but got it back about a week later, minus the money I had been trying to take out that showed as being taken out of my account. These annoyances just made me not trust anyone at the hotel and left a bad taste. I couldn't fully relax because if we'd had any more issues, I knew we'd get no help from staff here. I like to know that my family and will be relaxed, safe and stress free when on holiday and I just didn't feel it here. The food in the main restaurant is ok, if you can get to it. The restaurant was often late opening so then there'd be a stampede of people all rushing in at once with no real order at all. If you want a drink, might be worth ordering from the bar before dinner because id often be well into your meal before being offered a drink (unless it was Hamid who was brilliant). But also note the restaurant can only do a small selection of drinks even though the bar is jius across the way. Breakfast is passable. It's all a bit hit and miss. Sometimes they would have nice fruit, other times it would be all bruised and way past its best. There is one chap who works in the restaurant who was rude and snappy to us when we went in as a group. Then when my daughter and I went in without my husband and our male friend, he was extra nice and chatty and it was a bit much. It then came to pay the bill and he insisted that the card machine was broken and we'd have to pay in cash. I didn't have any cash (see above as to why) but he said 'You must have cash in your room' I told him I didnt and why, but he made us feel like we had no alternative.. My husband came down and asked another waiter if the machine was working which he said it was. We were then allowed to pay with it and funnily enough, it worked straight away. That completely wrapped it up for me as being a place where I jist didn't feel comfortable. The staff would quite often have disagreements in front of the guests in the restaurant too. The service by the pool was sometimes really good and then really slow at times and sometimes they forget your order all together which is annoying when you're hungry. The restaurant by the pool is better and you usually get your food pretty quick if you sit there which is only feet away from the pool. The area itself,, Yasmine, is a little run down but has a good supermarket and a few good places to eat. The one thing I oticed absolutely everywhere was rubbish. We travelled up to Sidi Bou Said and did a camel ride up in the hills, and a common thing along all the roads and in the countryside is plastic rubbish. I've never seen anything like it. Such a shame because it could be a beautiful lovely country. This hotel did nothing to persuade me to visit Tunisia again. I see that on previous reviews, the hotel management copy and paste a generic reply saying to return and 'give them another chance' but I wouldn't go here again if you paid me!
No value for money bottled water £2 The first impression of hotel was a rude receptionist . Dining room staff were the worst, surly and very rude.
I stayed at Russilor Hotel in Spain/Tunisia with two others, and honestly, it was a big disappointment. The hotel looks amazing from the outside, like a 5-star resort, but the rooms are a different story. They only have double rooms and just squeeze in a small extra bed for groups of 3/4, which is very uncomfortable. Our room was dirty (I even found a contact lens on the floor), the lighting was terrible — I had to use my own light to do my makeup — and my “garden view” was literally just a wall. The staff at the front desk and around the hotel were not welcoming at all and seemed to only give attention to their own people. The only positive was Madame Latifah from the cleaning team — she was amazing and deserves recognition. There’s no real entertainment here, just bad music and flashing lights. Meanwhile, the hotel next door has great entertainment, and you can hear and see all the fun happening there — even the lifeguards join in! Breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel: hardly any options, just pancakes and eggs, and everything tasted bad. The all-inclusive food was no better. This hotel is the definition of catfish. Save your money and book elsewhere
Super Hôtel, very friendly stuff, All of them, I was there for a week with my son, breakfast good , the bed was excellent all the best
The hotel has many positive points: most of the staff were wonderful, kind and always willing to help. The buffet offered a wide variety of tasty food, the hotel was spotless, the atmosphere with background music was perfect, the landscaping well maintained, and the location close to the beach was excellent. There are, however, a few small but important areas for improvement. At the buffet, serving spoons were often missing, so the same spoon had to be used for several dishes, and food labels were frequently absent. Salt and pepper also had to be requested or taken from other tables almost every meal. In the room, towels were sometimes removed even when not left on the floor, and not replaced immediately, meaning we returned from the pool with no towels available. Although reception always sent them afterwards, it happened more than once. On one occasion, a manager spoke to me rather arrogantly about carrying a bottle of water into the restaurant, which felt unnecessary. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the kindness of the staff and the hotel’s atmosphere, but with a few simple improvements the experience could be even better.
When I booked the hotel, it had great reviews and I was happy with it. As it got nearer to my holiday the reviews changed drastically, from good to bad to worse and even worse. Anyway, there was nothing I could do now so just went with it. Upon arrival, first impressions the hotel looks amazing…defo 5*. The reception was a bit slow and it took them time to acknowledge us but they did and said room wasn’t available until 2pm. We had a look around the hotel grounds. The pool areas were absolutely amazing. The pool itself was very clean and it was so nice and relaxing. Unfortunately, the beds with the mattresses were not so great as the mattresses were very dirty. They had stains on them and horrible marks. The loungers were clean and were in good condition. The towels were ok too. The hotel rooms were comfortable however, the curtains were falling down, the bed runner had stains on it, the linen basket was broken. I had to look past this and just enjoy my holiday. We didn’t spend much time in our hotel room, we were either out or in the pool. The restaurant at breakfast was a nightmare as items such as bread, juice and butter were not being replenished and you had to wait around for it. We had to ask the hotel staff in the restaurant, please can we have more bread, or the juice has finished or can the tables have clean tablecloths. These are the things that can easily be changed and bring the hotel back to being a 5*. Maintenance needs to go up and also some staff need to change their attitudes. Although, we didn’t have a run in with staff. Yousaf and baha were helpful.
Very bad customer service badly trained and understaffed, I complained about a serious issue with a loot metal on the sunshade and was not taken seriously even after I was hit in the head, the customer service at the reception Rania was rude and ill mannered and did not even note the complaint down.
This is certainly not a 5 star hotel. They lack basic facilities, hygiene, luxury and etiquette. You’re not allowed food or drink from outside but they don’t provide free water to guests. Forced to buy at bar at a premium price. English is not universal and staff struggle to understand you. Rooms are very, very dated and not maintained. Food is awful so we had to change board basis basis to just bed and breakfast. At breakfast the food was not replenished quick enough so a lot of hanging around. Queues were too long for egg and pancake station (the only fresh cooked station). Pool staff were scarce and slow. Minibar fridge in the room is empty and hot. Indoor bar allows smoking Bedding blood stained and dirty, mattress dirty and sweat/ urine stained. Dusty, mouldy and dirty upholstery in bedrooms and dining chairs. Room toiletries were not replenished and toilet rolls were rationed at best. The male staff harass female guests and would not accept no for answer. The spa pool was being renovated but was not advertised to guests and I had to walk out of massage as masseuse was not professional. I’m from UK and the standard was like a 2-3 star hotel. It should not be advertised as 5 star and it’s very misleading. Honestly, don’t waste your hard earned money here. Management - please don’t bother responding as nothing you say can be of help or use. You will be hearing from my tour agent.
Very improfessional staff on reception, it was our wedding anniversary no effort at all, price 200 euro by night with breakfast with the quality of room of beach of food not accurate at all very very dissiponted
had a great stay at The Russelior. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the restaurant service was excellent everything was quickly refilled and there was always a good variety, especially seafood. The reception staff were always smiling, helpful, and professional. On checkout I had a flat tire, and one of the staff kindly helped me change it, which I really appreciated. The VIP Mercedes van to the beach was also a nice touch. Overall, a very pleasant stay with amazing staff and service.
Just returned from a great holiday. First time in Tunisia and enjoyed the location, the vibe and the people were very nice. I was however very disappointed with the hotel. It is definitely not 5 stars. The hotel is described as having a spa however the spa pool was closed, the steam room smelt of mould. The facilities state that bottled water would be provided as was the iron. However on requesting an iron we we told that this was chargeable as was bottled water. The toiletries were not replenished unless asked. The cutlery was not laid out. Any spare serviettes were quickly whipped from under our noses. Plates were removed whilst we were still eating. On one occasion the bread was mouldy 😳. I felt the hotel was misold.
My sisters and I went for my 50th birthday and I was a little apprehensive not having been to Tunisia before. I have fallen in love with the beautiful country. The hotel staff were really friendly especially Baha, who made the visit so memorable. He took care of every small detail. With helping us with lost baggage, to booking excursions and recommending a fabulous restaurant for my birthday dinner. It is Baha that has made this holiday so special. He really deserves a mention for going over and above.
We went for 7 nights 14-7-2025 to 21-7-2025. The hotel is Fabulous and all the staff were Wonderful throughout our stay. Reception staff Baha, Marwa, Iman,Yasser, Yossri always willing to help. Extremely polite, professional and friendly service, they were a joy to talk to. The same with the restaurant and pool staff. In the Spa Gzala gave a super treatment and also the Housekeeping lady Emna was very nice and friendly. We are already Planning our next Trip to Russell Hotel and Spa Hammanet. Bharti
amazing hotel great service food and pool was good aswell anything you need you can ask the rooms were insane and goot a/c too cool off
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The pool area is absolutely beautiful — especially the waterfall side, which added a serene and relaxing atmosphere. A special thank you to Yossri and Raina for their warm welcome, constant availability, and help with booking our excursions. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience. The dinner buffet was excellent, offering few different variety of dishes each night. Breakfast was decent — not outstanding, but with enough variety to start the day. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The rooms lacked basic amenities like a kettle for tea or coffee, and no complimentary water was provided daily, which is something we expected from a 5-star hotel. It was also disappointing that the half-board didn’t include even water or basic drink for first round. Room cleaning was another minor issue — housekeeping often didn’t leave enough toilet paper, and sometimes towels weren’t replaced in a timely manner. While the staff did provide what we needed when requested, it became a bit annoying to have to ask for these basics. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, great pool, and friendly service, but a few improvements in room amenities and housekeeping would make the experience even better. Local mosque was 10-12 short walk away, which was handy.
Exceptional service especially by receptionist called Baha, he made our trip very easy and extremely enjoyable, his customer service was amazing and made sure we were okay throughout our trip. The hotel was very clean and staff was welcoming, friendly and created a comfortable environment. Overall, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tunisia.
Been there at the beginning of june, and everything was perfect, starting with the staff and hotel and ending with everything else, a very plesant experiance. And Yossri helped me with everything i needed to plan my whole experiance there. A great guy!
It was honestly the best trip ever, the hotel was super accommodating, and we made friends with everyone. We even extended our trip and stayed in the same hotel because we didn’t want to leave, the receptionist baha was amazing and super helpful and so was everyone else that works there. We will definitely be visiting again!!
This hotel exceeds five stars – the customer service is among the friendliest I’ve ever experienced. The swimming pool is very clean and safe, with a lifeguard on duty for the children. In the early morning, you can enjoy a lovely breakfast from 6:30am, with no queues or crowds, and the food is absolutely fantastic. The hotel also offers a spa, an American bar, and the staff will go out of their way to help with anything you may need. I truly wish I could have stayed for another week. If you’re not keen on the typical all-inclusive hotels in Tunisia, I highly recommend this place. You’ll enjoy a luxurious experience at a five-star hotel and have a wonderful time. Thank you!
I was absolutely delighted and very satisfied with my stay at The Ressellior Hotel in Tunis. The service was truly outstanding! I especially want to highlight Ms. Marwa at the reception — she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the entire stay. Her professionalism and kindness made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the whole team!
The staff were really helpful and made staying here a pleasure . Facilities were clean and gave a range of things to do . Breakfast had a large selection and the hotel is situated right next to the beach and close to lots of nearby shops and places to eat .
This was the second time I go to the Russelior and it was amazing as ever. I went with my family. The beds are so comfortable and clean. The food is good. And the service is amazing. Special thanks to Imen and Ayman. Thank you for making our holiday special. We plan to visit again this Summer. We count on you to make it as special as before.
Stunning hotel
Quite place and friendly staff
I had the most wonderful time. From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. I would like to specifically mention Marwa from the front desk, Chef Ridha from Le Bonsai restaurant and Sabrine from the spa for their exceptional customer service. They really were the highlight of our trip and I will always remember them. I can't wait to come back with the whole family!
Our experience at The Russelor Hotel and Spa in Tunisia was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Receptionist Rania and Outstanding Staff Member Moez, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Rania for the incredible surprise that added a magical touch to our trip. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made us feel so special from the very first interaction. And what can we say about Moez? Simply exceptional! He was incredibly supportive, helping us plan excursions and ensuring we had the best experience possible. But most importantly, both Rania and Moez played a pivotal role in making our engagement party a dream come true. They took away all the stress and anxiety, handling every detail with such care and dedication that we could truly enjoy the moment. Thanks to them, our engagement was mesmerizing and unforgettable—an event we will cherish for a lifetime. They truly went outside the box to make everything perfect, and for that, they deserve the Staff of the Year Award! If you’re considering staying at The Russelor Hotel and Spa, we highly recommend it. The hotel itself is stunning, but it’s the people like Rania and Moez who make it a 5-star experience. Thank you again for an incredible stay—we will definitely be back! With gratitude, Mr. S. Ahmed & Mrs. T. Islam 🙏♥️🥰
Very bad welcome from reception, bad food quality not meeting expectations, SPA is cold , dirty hotel with dirty Rooms , deserve 2 stars , parking service asking always for extras money , very expensive hotel compared to other hotels , poor Atmosphere and animation ,
Extremely noisy, unfriendly staff with attitude (expect the girl at night at front desk). A lot of much better options around
Worst service despite the price are too expensive compared to other hotels in the same area with better service, they make a stupid line for food in the dinner for everything ( you do a line for even items you won’t need ) which makes you wait 15 to 20 mins in line in case you won’t to refill your place, the room are far from the amenities , we have been offered a distant room. With view to the wall , indoor pool is cold in the winter time .
I had a wonderful experience. Staff were absolutely lovely. They went above a beyond to make my experience beautiful Receptionist all fantastic on helping with request Spa staff affectionate and had a warm welcome. Kitchen breakfast bar staff and lifeguards all gave good excellent service I arrived late in the night and it's was extremely quiet which I appreciated although we asked for separate beds the hotel was fully booked but our bed was a large queen size so it was fine the next day we got our room but the single bed room we didn't like the views so decided to stay where we were given as it felt much bigger and the ambiance of the water fall from the front of the hotel made us relax more it was a beautiful relaxing sound we appreciated. The hotel itself is in a good location for the private beach their is a caddy cart that will meet you out the front of the hotel to take you but its literally 5 to 10 mins accross the rd and 15 mins walk to the main port Yasmine Hammamet, so after a few days I got use to the area and felt very safe to walk around or to medina Mediterranean alone if i needed to. Room was absolutely gorgeous looking decor, lovely big curtains to black out sunlight, clean and tidy feel to it It just needed more reachable charging power points I had to share with my friends side of the bed or put the bins on top of each other and a table for the second charging point was to high and far away from anywhere to place laptop or phone. Bath room clean spacious with shower and deep bath lovely hot hot water. I found as long as I was cheerful and was pleasantly approachable, everywhere I went I was treated just as pleasantly by others absolutely lovely place and i adored all the staff here, they made me feel welcomed and made me happy if I had any problems they would try their upmost best to resolve it. Private beach was beautiful and I could request food to be delivered, best to do adventures and activities from the beach people connected to the hotel itself if you Absolutely 💯 perfect.👌the hotel service was impressive just wonderful. 👍 Not much negative traits about the hotel, only that the breakfast traffic when events are taking place needs to be thought out more. After 9.00 it is high traffic time less 6 queuing and things run out to replace the small cups with bigger ones because reloading drink after drink of teas, juices and coffee after a few sips is what is contributing to the main reason for build up of queuing for food. Resolution for me was to eat an hour or two early then there were only like 5 to 10 ppl instead of 60 to 80 people after 9am. I havd recommended this hotel others to return I will definitely return in the future.
Buon hotel 5 stelle curato e pulito, buonissima colazione molto varia.
Very nice
I chose this property because it was popular and close to my in-laws. Everyone gives it raving reviews, so I booked my reservation months ago. I was also told by former employees that this place used to be Better and it is now way different from how it used to be before. I’ve had minor issues leading up to the actual day of staying at the hotel but that did not matter because I already made up my mind to stay there however, I did not enjoy my stay for the most part. The rooms are not soundproof, every night I heard a couple being intimate that was annoying. Also, people coughing and using the bathroom.. The phones in the room do not work, nor does the balcony light. TV remote did not work, nor the button to the TV,. Breakfast is repetitive and limited. My room seen better days, I feel it was very dirty in my opinion. For the hotel to be luxury, for me, it did not feel like it. I wanted to ask the front desk can I change my room on the first day that I got there but they seemed unapproachable like you may be bothering them, so me not want to be that person who complains, I just spent my nights sleeping there sometimes and the rest of the time with my in-laws because it is what it is. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel to a friend who staying in Hammamet. But again this is just my experience. Maybe somebody else will have a better room that’s more clean and doesn’t it feel cramped and stuffy. I was there for nine nights.
Todo perfecto

The hotel looks nice we were bothered by two factors: 1- zero privilege as gold members. They refused to give an upgrade even though the hotels was not full. The service was too slow. We kept waiting for almost 2 hours to get pool towels and every time we requested one they sounded very rude and indifferent. 2- we were assigned a room where we had 3 RF antennas . As experts in the field we know that was not safe at all and extremely harmful.

This is no way a 5 star hotel- the service is actually shocking. Staff have knowledge of what is actually going on in the hotel in terms of what is and isn’t available to clients. I requested to speak to management, and given a whole speech and free coffee to make up for a horrible experience!
This hotel is FAR from 5 stars. It took over an hour to check in because reception could not find our reservation. They did little to quickly resolve this and just left us waiting and pretty much did they best to ignore us until we insisted they sort the issue. The main hotel areas were fine but the corridors were poorly lit, probably to hide the poor and dingy condition. The hotel was fine but also not 5 star condition, wallpaper was peeling, stains on the curtains, finger marks around the mirror. The room was apparently pool view but the glimpse of the pool we could see was actually the pool of the neighbouring hotel. The one plus is the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was really poor. It was tasteless and the pastries were rock hard. The pool itself was really nice and seemed clean but the surrounding area was a complete mess. Chairs and loungers just strewn around, all were really dirty too. I would not stay again and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

Tge hotel ia clean and modern, but the service and the breakfast is terrible, over allrge hotel is average and not worth the money, the best part us the swimming pool, but the management shoukd work more with the staff in terms of customer service, the breakfast is average...omelette is runny ..oan cakes burnt...not worth tge monet and wont recommends.
My second time in the Russelior Hotel; Things that did not change : - Food quality, always good. - Rooms, they are good. Things that did change : - Garden is not well maintained as it used to be. Grass is not as green as it used to be and trees are not maintained as they used to be few years ago. - Hotel partly transformed to a retirement and nursing home hosting Seniors with or without medical assistance. Every Senior person is actually assisted by a nurse. I've seen the same for El Hambra and Saphir Palace, all in the same region. - The cold welcoming and NO perks despite being a Hotels.com Gold member and the hotel being almost empty (I've kindly asked for the upgrade when booking). I'm not going back to this property.
I went their during Covid country lockdown where most of hotels around were closed I thought I’m going to have just for staying open service, but honestly everything exceeded my expectations, the service was top of the line considering they were missing staff .
Excellent service clean hotel , can’t beat it ! Good experience
Good trip un family
All is perfect
Amazing hotel
nice place. staff was always very helpful. if you wish to relax for a few nights this is the right place.
Amazing hotel, very clean, confortable, and the food is very good
It was a lovely stay, the staff were very welcoming and professional. I strongly recommend this hotel
Very clean very quiet well equipped good location easy checkin and check out.
Nothing to be mentioned about Quality price is not resnable
It was awesome staying at the Russelior hotel. This is the first time there and I'll definetely come back at summer time. The rooms are wonderful, clean and with a great view to the pool. We appreciated the "Macarons" present when we entered the room. We also appreciated the indoor pool and the Gym. Cosy and peaceful hotel. Food is also good.
The pool and surrounding area is wonderful. Staff are approachable. Breafsat service is good. Tge coffee is really nice.
Great
Not bad at all. I would stay in it next time. Pool is beautiful and towels are provided.
Good nice place with nice interior design, pool and amenities are great you will definitely enjoy your stay.
Hotel is really clean and service is in timely manner, food is amazing and location is perfect, Spa and swimming pool closing too early if you’re a person who like to swim longer.
The furniture and the overall room decorations does match that of 5 stars hotel.
Most staff are kind and attentive. location in Hammamet Yasmine is ideal - rooms are very small for the type of property and there was no initiative to consider giving us a better room even though the facility was literally empty during our stay. Management of the facility seemed to be disconnected with the clientele - Would not visit again, but would not advise against this property. There is a far better offer in terms of service in the region.
Excellent
The I really property was very good, the room assistance was very efficient.
Not a 5 * but a 4* the service and staffs need to improve
I don’t even know where to start... after reading so many good reviews we decided to book this hotel for our first wedding anniversary, and what a disappointment... - under staffed, we had to wait about 20min to have the food menu by the pool, another 20 for them to take the order - under staffed, no clean tables to eat, dirty towels everywhere... and it was a big dining room, but all the tables had he dirty places piled with dirty towels, I can’t even put into words - the so good restaurant that they have ........ just one person serving, so he had no time to prepare the tables or pay attention to the costumers, and again long long waiting time - napkins is something that is not seen that often, specially because they don’t have time to set up tables - Their uniforms ..... I have no words to describe how dirty the uniforms were, it is quite unpleasant to have someone preparing or serving you food with such a dirty uniform - the food was not the best at the hotel, to be honest - very very overpriced!!!! You can eat sooo much better and for a quarter of the price compared with the hotel. I understand this is a 5star hotel, and I wouldn’t mind pay for it if the service was worth it - worst experience ever
We were invited to a friend’s wedding so we booked one night at the Russelior. The room was not ready on time and we waited for 2 hours to check in even though we came two hours after the check in time. We made a reservation months in advance so we assumed that the room will be ready. The bellman escorted us and he was very professional. The front desk staff were friendly and gave us a late check out at 6pm but they didn’t provide us with information about the hotel and restaurants nor the SPA unless we call and ask. Any guest will expect an exceptional service from a luxurious 5 stars hotel but that wasn’t the case for us. Inside the room, the balcony door was blocked so we couldn’t sit outside we didn’t report it because we were busy with the wedding preparations and it wasn’t a big deal. The sad part of all this is that we were exposed to bed bugs during our sleep. As a result, my wife developed a bad reaction to the bedbugs bites which led to itchiness and red welts. In summary, it was only one night but unfortunately our stay was mediocre and it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel.
