We had a beautiful, large room with views of the surrounding countryside. The food at the Indian restaurant was absolutely fantastic.

Older buildings do have a certain historic appeal to me. Breakfast was the best of our entire trip. In addition to buffet items, they had cook to order omelettes that were fresh, hot and delicious. The facility was clean, but a bit outdated (which I totally do not mind at all). The hotel will be typically noisy as it is older. I had requested a "quiet" room and we had one that was top floor, in a corner. I still her a bit of door slamming, but I think my request was granted!

As with most of our stays on this trip, no microwave. We only had one for 2 of out stays and we like to always have left overs to reheat and/or popcorn! It's a bit of a hike back up from town, but we LOVED this little town. The inns and bars were hopping with really great music and we enjoyed a variety of options.... modern, rock AND a wonderful Scottish trio. This was our best entertainment stop as well. PS it was a weekend.

The bedroom, which was downstairs, window overlooks the car park. This greatly reduces privacy as other guests can see directly into the bedroom.

Warm welcome from Paul on reception and handwritten note in our room. Lovely big twin room (accessible) with excellent walk-in shower. Delicious Indian dinner in elegant on-site restaurant.

This hotel is in beautiful picturesque Pitlochry. The hotel is quiet but well located so that one could easily walk the downtown. The host is fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The hotel rooms are super clean and very spacious!

Great room, great breakfast options. The gentleman who was in the dining room at breakfast (sorry we didn't get his name) was really friendly and informative about where to visit.

The only negative we had was the toilet seat in our room was really loose and could do with fixing/ replacing.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean and staff very pleasant. Breakfast was good with plenty of food. Our bedroom was well equipped, lovely bathroom with quick, easy shower and lovely views from the windows. The position of the hotel was about 20 mins walk up the hill from the centre of town so very quiet.

Our bedroom on the second floor had a large part of the ceiling (because it was an attic room) which sloped in and you had to watch out in case you bumped your head when trying to access the coffee, tea and kettle and also when you tried to sit in the settee at the end of the room. The height of the ceiling is only about 6 feet at the end where the settee is and with the walls painted dark green, the room felt a bit cramped.

Our room was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was ample supply of tea, coffee etc. The food in the restaurant was really good and there was a large selection of choice on the breakfast menu. The staff were very welcoming and helpful especially the Manager Paul who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to stay again one day.

There was nothing about this hotel we didn't like.

A nice place with cozy interior, great personnel, clean and spacious rooms. Check-in was easy, finding property also did not bring any challenges.

Have in mind that even though the town center is in walkable distance the hotel is uphill and walking back for elderly or disabled people might be challenging. No issues with the property itself though.

Friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade upon arrival. Clean and comfortable room, the bed was very good. Breakfast was fantastic. Great location both to the main street and to nature trails. Free and spacious parking.

Checking in was easy and I was welcomed in a very friendly manner. All of the staff were friendly and approachable. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. There was ample car parking space.

The TV was positioned on the desk which did mean the chair had to be moved out of the way in order that it did not obstruct the view but the TV did work very well.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the restaurant sells the best curry I've ever had and the breakfast is gorgeous. The rooms are quiet with soft and comfy beds and pillows. Its clean and very tastefully decorated. This is my second visit there and it won't be my last. I would go out of my way to return. Thank you 🙂💖

Beautiful location and the hotel was spotless. We had a junior suite with stunning views. The staff were all excellent and special mention to Paul who was the perfect host. We ate in Cidsin one night and had a delicious meal. Breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh to order

Two safety issues I would mention: 1.Showerbase slippy when wet posed an injury from falling. Remedy: Non xslip shower mat. 2. Gap under door would not meet fire regulations. Remedy: Replace with fire door.l9i

We loved staying upstairs in Room 7 because the views were beautiful. We fell in love with the Indian Restaurant, the staff were exceptional and the flavours of the food the best we've every tasted. We are still talking about the desserts a week later.

The staff were as helpful as can be, especially Niki, the young Indian girl, who was very upbeat and empathetic. The evening meal was served in a professional way and very natural and tasty. This was the only high point in our two night stay. Bed was comfortable and not much noise .

After being told there were just a few steps up to our BOXROOM, we found there were 16 VERY steep steps which were painful to navigate as I have poor mobility. . The room was pitifully cramped and bleak. The staff were helpful, courteous and understanding when we said we couldn’t stay the third night which we had booked verbally. The place is dingy and tired with ancient net curtains , old furniture, faded print and dead hanging baskets outside .

Die Junior Suite war geräumig und hübsch eingerichtet.

Im Zimmer hatte es keine Kleenex-Tücher (zumindest fanden wir keine) und keine Wasserflaschen.

Je réserve régulièrement des hôtels et, malgré une réservation effectuée seulement dix jours avant notre arrivée, j’ai accepté de payer 190 £ la nuit, sachant que les prix sont élevés en Écosse en haute saison. À ce tarif, je m’attendais néanmoins à un minimum de transparence sur la chambre attribuée. Nous avons eu la chambre n°9, qui est, à mon sens, indigne d’un établissement de cette catégorie. La fenêtre donne directement sur le parking, à moins d’un mètre des voitures, avec les vitres à hauteur des véhicules. Impossible de laisser les rideaux ouverts sans être vu : nous avons dû vivre les rideaux fermés en permanence. La salle de bain est très vieillotte et la ventilation est extrêmement bruyante. Aller aux toilettes la nuit réveille inévitablement la personne qui vous accompagne. L’isolation phonique est également très mauvaise : on entend les personnes des chambres au-dessus, ainsi que les douches et les toilettes des autres chambres, comme si elles étaient dans la nôtre. À notre arrivée, une forte odeur de cuisine envahissait la chambre, ce qui était particulièrement désagréable. L’hôtel nous a offert le petit-déjeuner, un geste apprécié, mais qui ne compense pas les mauvaises conditions de cette chambre. Après avoir demandé des explications par écrit, on m’a répondu qu’il s’agissait d’une réservation de dernière minute. Pour moi, cela ne justifie en rien l’attribution d’une chambre de cette qualité, surtout à 190 £ la nuit. Une réservation tardive ne devrait pas dispenser l’établissement d’être transparent sur les caractéristiques de la chambre proposée. Après quinze jours de voyage en Écosse et autant d’hôtels, c’est de loin la chambre la plus décevante que nous ayons eue. C’est d’autant plus regrettable que les environs regorgent d’hôtels pleins de charme, alors que celui-ci n’en offre malheureusement aucun.

Our room had a beautiful view and it was very quiet overnight. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Everywhere was absolutely spotless and our needs were well catered for. Food in the restaurant was amazing and there were excellent vegetarian options which is not always the case. I certainly hope to go back again, cannot recommend it highly enough.

It was a nice accomodation. You can easily walk to the city center but there is also a restaurant inhouse. The reception was very good and checking out was very easy.

The room was very small. The flour was inclined. The beds and matraze very bad. The smelling of the restaurant spread it all around e en in the room área. The Breakfast was correct but you have to wait a waiter. Only one. Too much money for the place they offer. Is not FABULOSO. This is a wrong cathegory. The correct one is NORMAL.

Hotel restaurant familial plutot bien situé à 10 minutes du centre de Pitlochry, au calme. La chambre était basique, un peu dans son jus et donnant sur le parking mais globalement au niveau de l'attendu. Le personnel était sympa. Il y a aussi un bar à gin, ce qui est toujours appréciable !!

Je trouve le prix un peu élevé. Pour une nuit de passage c'est bien, mais je n'y serais pas resté pour un séjour plus long.

The restaurant provided the best Indian meal I have had in years with an imaginative menu well cooked and served by staff who could not have tried harder to make a pleasant stay exceptional. After the bustle of central Pitlochry the quiet location made for a good nights sleep.

Easy access up a hill from the town giving it a quiet and peaceful vibe. Breakfast was outstanding and a great selection from buffet with cereals, yoghurts, fresh grapefruit as well as a fully cooked breakfast of which we had the vegetarian option. Set us up well for the walking through nearby woodland and waterfall, as well as the picturesque dam and surrounding areas. Beds were comfortable and allowed a restful sleep. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend.
