The view from our balcony was amazing and the room was fantastic with everything you will need provided. The staff are lovely people and make you feel at home. The food at the restaurant is delicious and pool area is just perfect. Nothing bad to say. Had a great time!

Dit kleinschalig familiehotel is een aanrader! Het team is heel vriendelijk en gedienstig. Aan het ontbijt wordt gevraagd of je versgeperst sinaasappelsap, yoghurt met honing en ei met of zonder spek wilt. Dit is om voedselverspilling te voorkomen, wat ik prima vind. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid: wit en bruin brood, ontbijtkoekjes, pudding, cake, vers fruit, tomaten met of zonder olijfolie en feta, komkommer, vleeswaren, ontbijtgranen, 3 soorten confituur, ... te veel om op te noemen! Aan het zwembad staan er ligstoelen ter beschikking. Op de 2de verdieping is een groot terras met een prachtig zicht op Chania. Er is een ruime afgesloten parking.

The hotel is in a great location, the bus takes you into Chania in 15 minutes. The hotel room was comfy and big. Lovely views of Chania and its sunset. Having a fridge was excellent. The pool was great too. The ladies running the hotel couldn't do enough for the guests. They were so helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.

Nothing to dislike!

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer und durch die Bäume teils auch Chania! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der einzige Nachteil war ein unangenehmer Geruch, der manchmal aus dem Ausfluss im Bad kam. Ansonsten hatten wir nichts zu bemängeln!

This is one of those places where you feel like at home. The atmosphere in the hotel is so relaxing, the staff is very nice and friendly. The view from the common terrace is stunning, you can see Chania Harbour and mountains at the horizon. The swimming pool is also very nice. The hotel is just 10 minutes by car or taxi from the airport. You can also get there by bus number 18 from the airport or Chania.

Das einzige was uns gefehlt hat war der Wasserkocher im Zimmer um morgens einen Kaffee zu trinken, allerdings gibt es direkt gegenüber ein Café, welches schon ab 6 Uhr auf hat 😁

Everything was great: the breakfast, the swimming pool area, and the overall atmosphere. It’s a lovely place for a proper summer holiday. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The on-site parking was very convenient, and the hotel offers a really nice sunset view. There are also plenty of breakfast options, making it good value for money overall. The location is great as well, just outside the main town, so you can reach the town centre in around 10 minutes and some really nice beaches within about 15 minutes by car.

The hotel is a little dated, although this is not a major issue as everything is very well maintained. I think some small improvements to the breakfast menu and quality would be greatly appreciated, particularly using fresh pastries instead of frozen, pre-made ones. I also did not particularly like the carpets in the rooms, as the city has quite high humidity and you need to keep the windows open to prevent moisture from building up. Overall, though, these are relatively minor points and the hotel offers good value for money.

Das Personal war extrem freundlich und man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt! Frühstück war extrem lecker!

Ohne Auto ist es etwas schwer in die Innenstadt zu kommen oder allgemein auch an den Strand etc.

We enjoyed our stay at the Monte Vardia Hotel. The rooms are very nice, with functional bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent. The large, charming pool area features sun loungers and natural shade. The hotel owners are very friendly and always at your service, yet discreet. Highly recommended.

Personale accogliente e sempre disponibile, la proprietaria cerca di mettere a disposizione tutto ciò che viene richiesto. Ambiente familiare e abbastanza ben curato, parcheggio sempre disponibile e una bella piscina. Zona fuori dal caos e dai rumori ma facilmente raggiungibile e centrale.

Le cicale fanno un rumore a volte assordante, se volete dormire fino a tardi può essere fastidioso ogni tanto. La colazione non era proprio delle migliori, tranne le premute di arancia fresche, lo yogurt e uova con bacon. Le camere non sono recentissime ma sono tenute bene.

Struttura ben curata esternamente e negli spazi comuni, ottima la piscina e la colazione che risulta piuttosto varia. Camere attrezzate di frigorifero abbastanza capiente e microonde. Staff molto disponibile e sorridente.

Presente un po' di polvere sui mobili anche a vista, si potrebbe fare migliore attenzione nella pulizia. Però nel complesso bagno e camera puliti.

La piscine ! Incroyable ! Le petit déjeuner et la suite familiale :) c était vraiment un bel endroit. La vue sur chania était magnifique. Le snack Ο Παίκτης à proximité est très bon :) il faut prendre la voiture pour se rendre dans la vieille ville ...

Le frigo ne marchait pas, mais il a été changé immédiatement donc ce n est pas un reproche. La piscine n était pas accessible après 20h. En rentrant d une randonnée nous avons demandé à 20h30 d y aller un peu pour nous rafraîchir mais ce n était pas possible. Dommage, jusqu'à 21h30 aurait été parfait ! Par contre, le bruit ... La route est passante et vraiment c est bruyant ... Mais ça l hôtel n y peut rien ...

The staff are so kind and welcoming, the rooms are clean and modern, and the location is great. If you are renting a car, this is the perfect place to stay. It is easy to travel anywhere on the west side of Crete from here, and it is also convenient to get to the center by bus or taxi (a taxi costs around €10–15 each way). Right next to the hotel, there is a café and a shop open 24/7, which is incredibly convenient when you are doing day trips by car. The breakfast is excellent and fresh. I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a carefree and relaxing holiday. Additional points go to the hotel terrace, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets overlooking Chania and the sea

Les chambres sont grandes mais assez simples.

La struttura si trova a pochi minuti di auto da Chania. La camera e spaziosa ed il letto enorme. Lo staff è accogliente e pronto a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente. Pulizia della stanza giornaliera. Colazione varia che spazia dal dolce al salato.

Non c'è niente che non mi è piaciuto, mi sono trovato molto bene. Modificherei solo l'orario di inizio della colazione. A mio avviso le 8,30 è un po' tardi.

Todo nos encantó, fuimos en familia, la atención, excelente, súper cordiales, ecuánimes, amorosos con nosotros. Está gratitud la llevamos en nuestros corazones, nunca los olvidaremos. Que Dios los bendiga. Abrazos y mil gracias por todo.

Heel fijn familie hotel uitgebaat door 2 zussen, warm ontvangst, we voelden ons meteen thuis. Niets is te veel. Ze staan altijd klaar om je te helpen met advies over een uitstap, hoe het beste te regelen. Alles is heel gemoedelijk. We hadden een hele fijne vakantie. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, ruime keuze, buiten plaats genoeg om te zitten. Heel lekker vers eten in hun restaurant. Propere kamers. Al het personeel is super vriendelijk. Mooi zwembad waar het rustig vertoeven is. Plaats genoeg om even te zonnen. Doordat het een kleiner hotel is, is het overal rustig en ideaal om te ontspannen. Plaats genoeg om je auto te parkeren. Op 4km van Chania stad met de auto. Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader.

Je hoort af en toe het geluid van de weg, maar dit stoorde niet omdat je wel afgesloten zat van deze weg.

La Signora che gestisce l'albergo è di una gentilezza rara. Estremamente disponibile e prodiga di consigli sempre molto utili. Ci ha accolto e coccolato per tutto il soggiorno facendoci sentire a casa e in qualche modo sempre protetti. Anche il figlio che lavora alla reception si è sempre dimostrato gentile e disponibile oltre che molto attento alle nostre esigenze durante la colazione.La struttura è bellissima così come lo è la piscina. Tutto fantastico!!!

This was a very enjoyable stay, the staff were helpful and friendly, superb service from Helen and her team. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The facilities were excellent particularly the swimming Pool. We also had some lovely food from the hotel in the evening. They gave us a take out breakfast which was also accommodating for our early mornings.

Solo una piccola cosa la colazione alle 8,30. Ho trovato un po’ tardi come orario di inizio soprattutto se vuoi partire per un’escursione. E’ vero che se li avvisi puoi farla prima ma ovviamente è una colazione ridotta.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is surrounded by a beautiful, well-maintained garden that creates a relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of parking spaces available, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of food, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

The cleaning service could be improved, as some areas did not feel as thoroughly cleaned as expected. Bathrooms need renovation, it’s also hard to take a shower where the shower head is placed above the curved part of the bathtub. Also, the hotel is located next to a busy road, which can be quite noisy, especially if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. It’s something worth keeping in mind when booking.

Trato del personal excepcional, haciéndote sentir como en casa en todo momento. Llegamos muy tarde y se ocuparon de prepararnos cena. Ubicado en un lugar muy tranquilo, aunque se necesita coche para todo.

Hotel is on a very busy main road with loud traffic noise. Unfortunately our (very small) balcony was directly in front of the road.

What we love the most was the staff. The hotel is owned by a lovely lady. Both her and her son are extremely helpful always doing their best, and we felt very welcomed. The breakfast is very good and it has local delicacies. The location is very good, close to the airport and it's 10 minutes away from the old town. You have bus stops nearby if you don't have your own vehicle. We rented a bike for a good price, with the help with the lady at the front desk. Very good pool and surroundings, the room has everything you need. If we come back to Chania we will come back for sure.😊

Wspaniała bardzo miła obsługa. Zarezerwowaliśmy pokój typu Family studio , 2 pokoje połączone korytarzem z łazienką-idealne rozwiązanie dla rodzin z dziećmi. Basen jest extra dodatkiem. Lokalizacja kilka minut od centrum Chani pozwala skorzystać z wieczornych uroków starego miasta. Umiejscowienie hotelu jest dobrą bazą wypadowa.

Sehr nettes Familiengeführtes Hotel, mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Ein riesen Pool gab es auch. Das Frühstück war auch völlig in Ordnung. Alles war sehr suber gehalten. Parkplätze am Haus vorhanden.

Es liegt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse, was es sehr laut macht. Das Hotel wurde zwar renoviert, aber die BAdezimmer sind weiterhin relativ in die Jahre gekommen. Auch das Teppichboden im Zimmer verlegt ist, ist selten geworden.

Magnifique hôtel parc piscine super, calme, petit déjeuner copieux personnel sympa, nous étions avec des amis et au dernier moment ils ont donné leur chambre a des gens qui ont prolongé leur séjour, nos amis ont été logés dans un appartement situé a 200m de l'hôtel , en compensation nous avons eu droit à une bouteille de vin blanc, et 4 moritos nous ont été servis..

Le lit matelas en mousse trop mou..des relents de mauvaise odeur le matin dans la salle de bain..

Accoglienza: super! Le due signore alla reception super gentili e simpatiche. Molto disponibile tutto il personale. Colazione: oserei dire meravigliosa! Talmente tante alternative da soddisfare chiunque. Lo yogurt greco superlativo! Quantità e qualità ottima! Buon ristorante (usato una sola volta). La piscina: bellissima e super curata! Letto comodissimo e king size!

La posizione è sulla strada principale quindi un po' rumoroso: ma le camere sono insonorizzate con le doppie finestre. Nella sala colazione avrei aggiunto una macchina caffè per l'espresso (noi italiani siamo fissati con l'espresso 😄). Si poteva comunque chiedere a parte.

Jag har varit i över 50 länder genom åren och Monte Vardia är nummer 1 utan konkurrens. Det är inte det att hotellet har en fantastisk utsikt, för det har det. Det är inte det att poolområdet är fantastiskt vackert, för det är det. Det är inte heller det att maten är fantastisk, frukosten är toppklass eller att allting är rent och snyggt, för Monte Vardia har allt det där. Det som verkligen skiljer detta hotell från alla andra hotell jag varit på är personalen. Monte Vardia är familjedrivet och det känns som om man direkt blir en del av en familj med mycket värme och engagemang. Detta är ett hotell utöver det vanliga med riktiga människor som verkligen bryr sig.

Super sauber, super freundlich, super angenehm, super Zimmer, super Garten, super Pool, warmherzige Betreuung, super Frühstück, super ruhig - wir können es gar nicht in Worte fassen, in welch ein Paradies wir da per Zufall gekommen sind!!! Nach zwei Wochen Badehotel in Kissamos verpassten wir unseren Flug und landeten in diesem wunderbaren Hotel! Wir waren völlig fertig und dachten, wir sind im Himmel!!!

Zuhause ankommen, genau so hat es sich angefühlt. Herzlich willkommen geheißen und herzlich verabschiedet. Die Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes war wie bei Familie oder Freunden. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war groß mit einem schönen und großem Bad. Das Bett bequem und das Frühstück überragend. Kein Riesenbuffet, aber frischer Orangensaft und frisch zubereitete Eier nach Wahl. Der Kuchen war besonders lecker, was meinem Gewicht nicht zuträglich ist. :-) Insgesamt eine Wahnsinnsleistung im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Jetzt hätte ich doch fast den Pool vergessen. Groß, gepflegt, einfach schön. Die Lage nach Chania und dem Flughafen ist ideal, in die Innenstadt kann man mit dem öffentlichen Bus fahren.

Da fällt mir, auch nach langem Überlegen, nichts ein.

Pidemmässä majoituksessa kaupunki olisi ollut liian kaukana meidän makuumme. Mutta allasaluen oli kiva ja siinä kyllä viihtyy ja yhteydet kaupunkiin olisi olleet hyvät,jos ei halua olla heti liki.
