Hotel in una posizione molto comoda per raggiungere il centro di Chania. Vista spettacolare del centro dalla terrazza del ristorante dell'hotel. Bellissima piscina per potersi rilassare con in dotazione asciugamani dalla reception e servizio bar direttamente ai lettini. Pulizia giornaliera della camera sempre impeccabile e colazione al ristorante super varia. Consigliata la prenotazione di un tavolo al ristorante per pranzo o cena per passare la serata nella terrazza con vista sulla città, esperienza da consigliare!

Purtroppo l'hotel essendo posizionato in un punto alto dell'isola, la strada per raggiungerlo in alcuni punti è molto stretta e difficile il passaggio tra due macchine, inoltre la maggior parte dei parcheggi sono in salita e non sempre si può trovare disponibilità, sopratutto alla sera essendo che il ristorante dell'hotel è aperto anche al pubblico. Nonostante questo, a 200 metri dall'hotel, è presente un piccolo parcheggio.

Le bruit dans les chambres très mal insonorisée. Entre les pleurs d'un bébé pourtant assez loin et les ronflements du voisin ça manquait de confort. Le site annonce navette aéroport, en fait c'est un taxi payant payé plus cher qu'une course normale.

Superbe hôtel. La vue du bar/restaurant est exceptionnelle, tout comme la piscine. L'hôtel est calme et très bien équipé. La chambre était très propre et confortable. À 10min en voiture du centre de la Canée (avec possibilité de navette gratuite depuis l'hôtel).

La chambre clairement pas au niveau attendu pour le prix payé... Il était mentionné « cour privée » mais en aucun cas « sous sol », la chambre donne 4 mètres sous la route au milieu de câble électrique et climatiseur qui tournent en permanence. Très peu de luminosité et bruit des voiture qui galèrent à monter la côte. Nous n’avons absolument pas profité de la terrasse. La literie est moyenne également.. quel dommage pour un si bel établissement.

Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Le petit déjeuner est simple, mais agréable. Très belle vue sur la ville.

La chambre aurait pu être plus propre et elle est mal insonorisée. Le sèche-cheveux était également sale. La chambre est par ailleurs assez étroite, ce qui rend l’espace peu confortable. Il est également assez difficile de trouver une place de stationnement à proximité.

Lenyűgöző elhelyezkedés és kényelem. A hotel személyzete nagyon kedves és segítőkész. A reggeli választék elképesztően bőséges. Tényleg csak szuperlatívuszok jutnak eszembe a hotelről. A shutle Chania citybe kényelmes és megbízható, nagyon szerettük. A hotelnél sok a cica, ezt én külön imádtam.

Hotel mieści się w 15 minutach jazdy samochodem od centrum, posiada własny bus transfer zarówno jak do centrum tak i do lotniska. Obecny niewielki parking przed budynkiem. Nasz pokój był dość duży, również przynależy mu duży balkon z niesamowitym, zarówno jak w nocy tak i rano, widokiem na miasto. Restauracja jest na 3 piętrze z fantastycznym widokiem na miasto. Śniadanie bardzo obfite, smaczne napoje. Basen hotelu pracuje krótko, jedynie do 18:30, ale z terytorium można korzystać bez ograniczeń.

Wir haben drei Nächte im Royal Sun verbracht und waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Ein echtes Highlight war das überragende Frühstück und der tolle Ausblick vom Restaurant über Chania. ☀️ Unser Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe, wurde täglich gereinigt und war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Besonders die Nespresso-Maschine auf dem Zimmer haben wir sehr geschätzt. Auch der schöne Poolbereich mit dem großartigen Blick über Chania hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders praktisch ist der kostenlose Shuttleservice zwischen dem Hotel und Chania, den wir sehr gerne genutzt haben. 👍 Das Restaurant hätten wir gerne auch einmal am Abend ausprobiert. Ohne Reservierung war es allerdings schwierig, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wer dort essen möchte, sollte deshalb am besten rechtzeitig reservieren. Einen Parkplatz am Hotel haben wir immer gefunden. Insgesamt waren es drei sehr schöne Tage im Royal Sun. Frühstück, Ausblick, Pool und Shuttleservice haben uns besonders gut gefallen. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. 😊

Great facilities and the staff were great! The shuttle bus made it convenient to get to and from Chania town. I would suggest still hiring a car to get around outside of Chania town. The pool was devine and the ordering system makes it super easier to get food and drinks whilst you are relaxing. The breakfast each morning was also great and had great variety

Hotel con una ubicación estratégica, no a mano del centro pero se salva con el transfer gratis. Desayuno muy bueno con vistas, al igual que la piscina. Personal atento.

The excellent location, the view is tremendous both evening and morning. The most friendly and welcoming staff we have ever meet, the Mari,s, Christos, Stella and Viv. We have been visiting for the last 10 years and the hotel has transformed itself over this time to become a wonderfully comfortable, and spotlessly clean hotel. The breakfasts are so amazing with such a delicious range of food and the Restaurant of a high quality with unusually designed yet traditionally based dishes. WE HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Thank you to Christos and all the staff who work together to give clients the best experience .

Beautiful location and the shuttle bus made access to the old town so easy.

The rooms could be updated slightly. There were a couple of extremely lovely staff members but majority had a rude tone and seemed totally put out by minor requests or basic requirements of their job. I’ve never really experienced this in Greece before.

Our first two nights were spent in a room directly underneath The Hill, which meant we didn’t get a second of proper sleep. There was a party going on until 1 a.m., and by 6 a.m. restaurant staff were already moving chairs right above our heads. Needless to say, we were in a slightly hysterical state when we asked for help. And I cannot emphasize this enough: the staff were absolutely fantastic. They immediately helped us move to a lovely and much quieter room, and from that moment on, our stay was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. We also rented a car through the hotel, and the amazing staff made my husband very happy by giving us an upgrade. Thank you again!! Since this wasn’t our first stay here, I was especially happy to see some familiar faces among the staff as well. Sending them a big, warm hug. ❤️ The housekeeping team deserves a special mention as well. They were incredibly thorough, kind and always smiling — you simply can’t help but feel good here. The restaurant is excellent, with a beautiful view. The breakfast is delicious, the à la carte menu is fantastic, and overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Despite the slightly chaotic start, the wonderful staff completely turned things around for us and made the rest of our stay fantastic. We will absolutely be coming back again.

The bed is very, very, very soft. I read in an earlier review that someone described it as feeling like sleeping in a crater. Well… my husband and I ended up sleeping on opposite edges of the bed, basically in a thin line, just so we wouldn’t roll into the “crater” in the middle. 😂 Parking: a truly authentic Greek adventure every evening, hunting for a parking spot. Somehow, though, we always managed to find a tiny little space somewhere! 😄

Είχαμε μια άψογη διαμονή στο ξενοδοχείο Royal Sun όπου περάσαμε καταπληκτικά τις διακοπές μας. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μοντέρνο και καθαρό και συμπληρώνε όλες τις προδιαγραφές μας. Το ξενοδοχείο παρείχε όλες τις υπηρεσίες όπου καλύπτει όλες τις προσδοκίες και ανάγκες του πελάτη είτε ειναι το ταξίδι επαγγελματικό είτε είναι ταξίδι αναψυχής. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και ευγενικοί. Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και είχε παρά πολλές επιλογές για όλα τα γούστα και προτιμήσεις.

Το κατάλυμα ήταν πολύ καλό. Όμορφο, καθαρό, προηγμένης τεχνολογίας. Η πισίνα πολύ ωραία και το πρωινό εξαιρετικό! Η κύριος Νικόλας στην ρεσεψιόν ήταν ευγενέστατος και συμπαθέστατος.

I recently stayed at Royal Sun Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The swimming pool area is fantastic for all the ages from infants to adults —clean, well-maintained, and perfect for families. My son loved it, and the poolside amenities made relaxation easy for parents as well. The location boasts a fantastic view. One of the standout features was the breakfast. It was fantastic, with a wide variety of tasty options to suit different tastes and ages. The service was friendly and efficient, helping the morning start on a positive note. The free transport is really helpful and I strongly recommend it. Overall, Royal Sun Hotel is a standout choice for families seeking comfort, great water facilities, and a top-notch breakfast. We would definitely return.

Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima pulizia delle stanze. Location spettacolare. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Nicolas e Maria, per la loro gentilezza e cortesia.

Atendimento, desde a receção (especialmente a Maria) até ao restaurante, todos foram muito atenciosos. A piscina do hotel é ótima, assim como o restaurante. O serviço de pick-up é drip-off em Chania também foi uma boa surpresa.

Gostamos de tudo, apenas achamos que a cama poderia ser mais confortável.

Mir haben während meines Aufenthalts zahlreiche Aspekte besonders gut gefallen: 1. Das Reinigungspersonal war stets äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. 2. Auch das Team an der Rezeption sowie die Fahrer des Shuttle-Service zwischen Hotel und Innenstadt von Chania überzeugten durch ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. 3. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der kostenfreie Shuttle-Service des Hotels, der regelmäßig Transfers zwischen dem Hotel und der Innenstadt von Chania anbietet. Die Anmeldung erfolgt unkompliziert über eine Liste für Hin- und Rückfahrten; die Hotelbusse verkehren im Halbstundentakt in beide Richtungen. 4. Der Hotelpool ist großzügig gestaltet, sehr sauber und erfüllt alle relevanten Sicherheitsanforderungen. Zudem ist er nie überfüllt und bietet ausreichend Platz zum Entspannen. Der Ausblick vom Hotel hinunter auf die Stadt ist beeindruckend – ein absolut herausragendes Panorama. Besonders hervorzuheben ist außerdem das exzellente Frühstück, das im Hotel angeboten wird. Das Buffet überzeugt durch eine große Vielfalt an Speisen, darunter zahlreiche lokale Spezialitäten und ein umfangreiches Angebot an Desserts. Jeden Tag wurden unterschiedliche Gerichte serviert; einige Speisen waren regelmäßig im Angebot, jedoch überwiegend wechselte das Sortiment, sodass stets für Abwechslung gesorgt war. Besonders positiv aufgefallen sind die große Auswahl an frischen Früchten sowie die täglich frisch gepressten Säfte. Das Frühstücksbüffet verdient meiner Ansicht nach die Bestnote – und dies mit großem Abstand. Das Zimmer war sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und überzeugte durch die Verwendung schöner Erdfarben. Der große TV-Bildschirm, sowie die praktisch integrierte Nische mit Schreibtisch, tragen maßgeblich zum Komfort bei. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber, wenngleich es für meine Verhältnisse etwas klein ausgefallen ist – dies stellte jedoch kein großes Problem dar. In jedem Zimmer sowie im Flurbereich, sind Desinfektionsspender.

Es stehen am Hotel zwar ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Allerdings kommt es abends, insbesondere durch das gut besuchte Restaurant in der dritten Etage, das auch von externen Gästen frequentiert wird, gelegentlich zu Platzmangel. Als Lösung empfiehlt es sich, etwas außerhalb an den Straßenrändern zu parken, wo in der Regel genügend Stellplätze vorhanden sind. Natürlich bedeutet das für den Fahrer einen kurzen Fußweg zum Hotel – dies lässt sich jedoch nicht vermeiden.

Fantastic staff, couldn’t do more to help. They were wonderful, helpful and always friendly. The shuttle service to the centre was so handy and the location was perfect because of this. Out of the way of noise and too busy areas but could easily access busy areas and centre.

The only downside to the hotel was that the gym did not open until 9am and breakfast finished at 10.30. Not ideal if you like to work out before eating. Understandably, when we asked we were told it was because of noise and other guests but maintenance workers started at 8 and cleaners arrive at 8.30 so could be open a little earlier.

Die Lage war ruhig, die Aussicht über die Stadt und das Meer war sensationell. Der direkte Zugang zum Pool war gerade für unseren Sohn sehr angenehm.

Struttura moderna con personale molto amichevole e cortese sempre disponibile. Colazione molto ricca con varietà per tutti i gusti, opzioni anche per vegani. A cena sono stati molto attenti anche sul fattore delle eventuali allergie. Il ristorante bar ha una vista strepitosa. Ottimo il servizio di noleggio auto offerto dall’hotel.

Hôtel idéalement placé en surplomb de la ville et offrant un panorama enchanteur sur toute la baie de La Canée. La navette gratuite mise en place par l’hôtel toutes les demi-heures pour rallier la vieille ville (à seulement 3 km) est d’une ponctualité incroyable. La piscine de l’établissement fait 25 mètres de long. Le petit-déjeuner est royal.

Chambre donnant derrière l’établissement idéale pour son ombre mais un peu trop exiguë ; en outre, rien n’est prévu dans la salle de bains pour poser ses affaires.

Everything, the place is very nice, clean, very good breakfast, most beautifull views, big nice pool. It's not located in mid town but we had a car so it was minutes to drive in and out to the center and it was one of the best hotels we had in our visits in Crete, thanks for the team for keeping it so highly maintained.

Las instalaciones, las vistas, el desayuno, el personal, todo magnífico. El shuttle al centro super útil. Si querés hacer un poco de ejercicio el gimnasio está muy bien equipado.

Struttura bellissima, pulita e tenuta molto bene (sembra almeno un hotel 4 stelle). Abbiamo apprezzato molto la pulizia e la comodità della stanza e la vista dal terrazzino, da cui si ammirano tramonti stupendi sulla città di Chania. Molto bella la piscina, con acqua a temperatura molto gradevole. Comoda la macchinetta del caffè in camera e il mini frigo. Ogni giorno in stanza vengono lasciate due bottiglie d’acqua, le cialde del caffè e dei biscottini (cosa ormai praticamente introvabile nella maggior parte degli hotel). Il personale è molto cordiale e sempre disponibile. All’arrivo ci è stato offerto anche un drink di benvenuto al bar dell’hotel: in Italia abbiamo molto da imparare dall’ospitalità greca! Ottima la colazione (una delle migliori trovate finora), con grande varietà tra dolce e salato e prodotti tipici greci. Comodissima la navetta gratuita che ogni sera porta gli ospiti dell’hotel in centro città (è sufficiente indicare gli orari di andata e ritorno che si preferiscono), anche perché trovare parcheggio a Chania è impossibile. Se dovessi tornare a Creta sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel.

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, il bagno era cieco, inoltre da un punto del piatto doccia usciva un po’ d’acqua in quanto non siliconata bene. Un po’ cari i prezzi del servizio bar a bordo piscina, se messi a confronto con i prezzi che si trovano in generale a Creta.

Wow—what an amazing stay! The staff are incredibly friendly. Kalimera to Maria and Nikolas—you were both so kind and welcoming! Everything was fantastic: the shuttle service, the food, the breathtaking views, the rooms, and the pool. It was truly the best stay we had in Crete. I’m also a cat lover, and there are many stray cats around the hotel. I was able to give them some food because they seemed very hungry. It was heartwarming to see how much they appreciated the attention.

Excellent hotel with great breakfast. We only stayed one night, but I would love to come back.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel, the ammenities, the staff and the pool overlooking the Hania town. Small fitness gym was a nice addition to overall expirience as well as the free shuttle service to the Hania town. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast on the beautiful hotel’s terrace was exceptional.

Good value hotel with great views over Chania. The pool is very nice and their restaurant is outstanding. Fairly close to the airport as well. I fully recommend it.

Belle vue sur les hauteurs de Chania, piscine très agréable et le transfert vers le centre ville est très appréciable. La salle de sport est également pratique. Petit déjeuner avec la vue très sympa.

La chambre est un peu en dessous de nos espérances - les photos sont vendeuses mais notre chambre faisait vieillotte avec quelques défauts.

Ήταν όλα υπέροχα από το δωμάτιο, τη θέα, το πρωινό, την καθαριότητα, το προσωπικό!! Θα ξαναεπιστρέψουμε σίγουρα 🙂
