Reviewed Sep 5, 2026I liked the whole design of the house both interior and exterior. It was very clean. The area was peaceful and scenery was nice. I wish we could've got there earlier and enjoyed the whole house a lot more and wished we had the breakfast but we were in a rush so sorry about that but would love to come again.
It wasnt a huge deal but the springs of one of the single beds was kinda broken so it was very springy. It was still comfortable just a heads up.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The staff were lovely. We were greeted by the owner Jimmy who was very friendly and showed us around. The facilities are great. There is a sitting room with a room off it with a pool table for the guests, which is a lovely added extra. The gardens were lovely too. We stayed in the annex which was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast the next morning was fab. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was brought out to us very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again, when in the area😊😊

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026The breakfast was fantastic and as advertised. The room was clean, well-kept and overall pretty quiet. The B&B is a short walk (10min) to town so perfect location - just outside the town for quiet but close enough to walk to the pubs, etc.
That I had to leave after a week. Nothing I didn't like, really. Bridget and Jimmy were terrific.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Bridget and Jimmy were very helpful, friendly & accomodating. I was impressed with the building and the fact that Jimmy had built it! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt very festive. The breakfast was good and they were very conscientious and considerate in meeting my dietary requirements. The room was nice and the bed was perfect - really comfortable. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet. It was in a good location. They kindly stored my bag after checkout and accommodated another guest without extra charge which really helped to make my stay pleasant, comfortable and smooth. The grounds are nice too.
My room wasn't really refreshed but the things I needed were easily obtained from staff without a problem so it wasn't a massive deal and I would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025This was a delightful Manor Inn! I loved the garden, the room, and the lovely owner, Bridget. This was a magical place; I wish I'd booked more than one night. Breakfast was nice and there is plenty of on- site free parking. I arrived late and was warmly welcomed. Bridget offered great dinner suggestions in town. When I mentioned I had a bottle of wine with me, she left a lovely wine glass in my room and suggested a visit to the brookside garden that evening. The stars were brilliant, and the experience was heightened by the soothing sounds of the brook. Magical!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Very comfortable. I was in the annex. The bed was good. Firm mattress. Shower good. Breakfasts were wonderful. Found it very peaceful and quiet. Bridget was lovely and very helpful and kind to me as I was on my own because my husband was in hospital after breaking his hip two days after we came on holiday in Westport. I was able to extend my stay as we couldn't get back home on time. I was very grateful for that as it was proving difficult to find another place to stay.
It was a bit far from the hospital in Castlebar, but I wouldn't have changed a thing because it was such a nice place to stay

Only 1 tiny flaw, the shower head in room 4 needs to be replaced. But it certainly didn’t hinder our stay and will definitely be back!
